"What?! M-Mom- what?!" Tanjiro asked in shock. "I know right! It's so exciting! Nothing like this has ever happened before! Anyway, quickly get ready, and bring Miss Kie! I'll see you both there Tanjiro!" Mitsuri said, before running off. After a moment of just standing there, Tanjiro quickly ran off in search of his Mother. He found her in their bedroom with the rest of his Siblings. Nezuko, Takeo and Rokuta walked up to him when they saw him, as he let Hanako and Shigeru out of the box.

"Mom what happened?" Miss Mitsuri told us that you are immune to sunlight now. How is that possible?" Tanjiro asked, confused and still a bit worried. "I d-don't know. It just, h-happened" Kie replied. "Well, did you get burned at all?" Tanjiro asked worriedly. His Mother shook her head, "not at all" she replied. Her Oldest Son sighed in relief, but frowned a moment later, "how did this happen? I thought sunlight is supposed to burn Demon's. Is everyone immune now?" Tanjiro wondered.

He looked over his Siblings, who just blinked at him in confusion. Mitsuri suddenly opened the door, "what are you doing Tanjiro?! We're going to be late!" she cried. "Ah! Right, sorry! Come on Mom!" Tanjiro cried, directing Kie into the box.

The Hashira and his Demon Mother headed to the Ubuyashiki Estate with Mitsuri. Tanjiro wondered if he should let his Mother out of the box, since she didn't need it anymore. Before he could choose one or the other, they arrived. "Lord Kamado. The other Hashira and the Master are waiting" one of the white-haired girls said, meeting him at the door. "Right" Tanjiro nodded in understanding. "Please follow me" he said. He followed the little girl into the Mansion. Tanjiro could smell the other Hashira and the Master further in the house.

His Mother shifted in her box. "It'll be okay Mom, I promise" he said softly. The white-haired girl stopped in front of a door, "Master, I have brought Hashira Tanjiro Kamado and his Mother" she called. "Please come in" the Master replied. Tanjiro was let into the room, finding the other Hashira kneeling in front of the Master. He knelt down after putting his box down next to him. "You wanted to see us Sir?" Tanjiro asked. He noticed the white-haired Wind Hashira glaring at him. He first thought of glaring back, still angry that he'd stabbed his family. But instead, Tanjiro decided on a different route.

He smiled brightly at Sanemi, causing him to look away with a growl. "I did. Shinobu informed me that your Mother has gone through an amazing transformation" Kagaya said. "Yes Sir. I wasn't there when it happened, but I've seen it for myself. My Mother has conquered the sun" Tanjiro replied. "What?!" Both Sanemi and Tengen yelled. "That's impossible! Demon's can't conquer the sun, that's the one constant they share!" Obanai said. "Well, let's see. Tanjiro, Mrs Kamado, if you would" Kagaya said with a small smile. Tanjiro opened Kie and Rokuta's box, "you can come out now Mom" Tanjiro said.

Kie climbed out of the box, growing to normal size. "This way Mom" he said. His Mother stepped into the sunlight, and everyone gasped in shock. "That's- how?!" Sanemi asked. "So flashy! Not only do they not eat humans, but now this! I'm impressed!" Tengen cried in excitement. "Are all of your Siblings immune to the sun as well Tanjiro?" Kyojuro asked. "Not that I know. I didn't want to take the chance any of them would get hurt by the sun. I won't compromise on that" Tanjiro said firmly.

"That's fair" Mitsuri replied. "What we need to do now is figure out what do about Mrs Kamado. Now that she's conquered the sun, any Demon who see's her will deliver that information to Kibutsuji. I believe for now it's for the best to keep your Mother safe and protected" Kagaya said. "Alright. She'll stay inside my Estate during the night and only go inside during the day. That is the safest option" Mitsuri agreed. "Okay. As long as everyone is kept safe" Tanjiro agreed.

Mitsuri, Tanjiro and Kie returned to the Love Estate after that, as the Hashira meeting ended. The Demon children all ran to hug the two of them when they got back. "Hey! Have you all been behaving yourselves?" Tanjiro asked. "Aahh!" Hanako nodded, making a noise of affirmation. "Good job. Thank you" Tanjiro said, stroking her hair. "Play?" Shigeru asked, bright red eyes wide and hopeful. "For a little while. We can play some more tonight though, okay?" Tanjiro said. His younger Siblings cheered happily, excited. Tanjiro played several games with his Siblings, before they went to sleep and Tanjiro stepped outside to train.

Several months passed with Tanjiro training, spending time with whichever of his family members were awake and going on missions. This time he had taken Nezuko and Shigeru. They were chasing a Demon away from a town, now running through fields of Rice Paddies. "It's so fast! This Demon's Blood Demon Art is so annoying!" Tanjiro groaned. Nezuko grew into her full Demon form and was now catching up to the enemy Demon. She started beating it with kicks and stomps. In that moment Tanjiro noticed the sun start to rise on the horizon.

"Shigeru! Nezuko! Get back here!" he ordered, sheathing his Sword as his little Brother ran back to him, a cry of fear tearing from his lips. "In the box! Hurry!" Tanjiro cried, pulling Shigeru into it, as he scrambled to shrink enough. "Nezuko!" Tanjiro cried frantically, as his little Sister had just set the other Demon on fire with her Blood Demon Art as the sunlight hit them. The enemy Demon disintegrated in a moment, while Nezuko screamed in pain as she started to burn, trying to cover herself with her arms. "Nezuko!" he screamed, reached his Sister and wrapped his arms around her. "Shrink yourself! Hurry! Make your body smaller!" Tanjiro cried.

Nezuko cried in pain as she did so, red burns all over her body. Tanjiro ripped off his Haori and wrapped her up in it, as Shigeru wailed from inside the box, as though he could feel his Older Sister's pain. Nezuko whimpered as Tanjiro picked her up and ran back towards the town. 'There's no time to put her back in the box! Shade! I have to find shade from the sunlight!' the Hashira thought. He ran frantically towards the Village, but in his panic, Tanjiro twisted his ankle in a hole in the ground.

He fell sideways and slammed the side of his head into a rock. Tanjiro felt pain burst through his head as his body went limp and he lost consciousness. 'N-Nezuko-' he thought.

The concerned voice of a girl brought Tanjiro back to his senses. "Tan-jiro! Tan-jiro!" "N-Nezuko?" Tanjiro muttered, opening his eyes. His vision was blurry, but he made out his little Sister leaning over him with worry on her face, a blue sky behind her and the sun over her back. The sun! Nezuko was burning! "Nezuko!" Tanjiro cried, shooting up and grabbing his little Sister by the shoulders. "Are you okay?! You're not burning?!" he asked frantically.

"A-are, okay. Not, burning" Nezuko repeated. The Hashira examined her body. All of the burns she had gotten from the sunlight were gone, all healed. "You really are okay. And you're not burning, just like Mom. Oh thank God. I'm so glad" Tanjiro sighed in relief. Shigeru made a noise from the box. "We're okay Shigeru. Don't worry. Nezuko's immune to sunlight, like Mom is" Tanjiro explained to his little Brother. "Alright, well, the other Demon is dead now. So let's head home, okay you two?" Tanjiro asked, Nezuko helping him stand up. After that they headed back to the Love Estate. Or, well, the Butterfly Estate, to get Tanjiro's head looked at.

"Honestly Tanjiro. Your family are like no other Demon's I've ever seen" Shinobu said cheerfully as she bandaged the younger Hashira's head after cleaning the wound. Nezuko was sitting at the open window of the office, enjoying the sunlight and wind coming in. "Weren't they already that?" Tanjiro asked, but he smiled at his little Sister enjoying herself like he was. "Nezuko is the second member of your family to conquer the sun. It's like some kind of fate, that the only Demon's to break Muzan's Curse immediately and nearly kill him would all conquer the sunlight." Shinobu said with a small smile.

Tanjiro could smell the difference in her as he looked at the Insect Hashira, "honestly, the existence of your family has given many of us hope again, including me. Keep fighting for them Tanjiro, until the end" she said. Tanjiro's expression firmed, "of course I will!" he said determinedly.

As he exited the building, the found the Sound Hashira standing in front of the door, "hey Kamado! Do you think you could help me out with a Mission?" the man asked.
