Hello everyone! Okay, so I need to explain this in case you all didn't read this from my other chapters. This story was originally from my friend theReaper13. Sadly though, he won't be working on this or much of his NSFW stories, which are all going to his tumblr, which is at harmonylovegirls1990.

So, if you're all interested in reading his NSFW stuff, it's all on there. The reason he's stopping is because he got a new job and he's helping out his parents. So, sadly he won't be able to do this anymore. However, he did hand me over all his stuff, hoping I can at least finish the ones he wanted to finish.

I have no problem with that, especially after all the help he's done for me. He's sorry for being unable to work on his stories, but life just got in the way. But he's in a good place, so going to support my buddy. He is grateful for all those who supported his work and thanks you all for it.

Now then, this story is a new version, which he's okay with me doing. Since he realizes that there was stuff in the story, he made mistakes on and wanted to fix them. So, this story is a crossover of Pirates of the Caribbean and the Little Mermaid. I should note that yes, the timeline here doesn't really work, but it's fanfiction.

So, we can do whatever we want and to make it work. Now, originally my friend had this involving the fairies from Tinkerbell, but it will be changed. So, this won't be exactly like the original or the second version. So, I hope you all like this and what is going to happen.

I don't own anything from this story, it is owned by Disney, except the OCs, which my friend owns. Enjoy the chapter everyone and I hope you all like this.

Narration

Long ago…

The world was born. Created by the immortal celestial beings that breathed life into this world. From the land, the light, the moon, the stars, the sea, and even the creatures that would roam the world. This included the race that would be these immortal beings' greatest creations, humans.

Over time, these celestial beings would pass on their rule over the world to their children. The Gods of Olympus themselves. It was these Gods that humans worshipped. Praying them for help in battle, for salvation, for strength, and blessing. Humans would thank the Gods for what they've done for them and would look up to them for guidance.

Humans even created stories based on the Gods of Olympus, including the heroes that fought for them. Not to say these heroes weren't all real, but their stories did inspire others to walk the same path as these heroes and hope to be immortalized as they were.

Out of all the Gods though, there was one that was respected for his rule over his domain and for his love for humans, despite what others would say. He was the ruler of the sea, the Sea God, Poseidon.

Unlike his fellow Olympians, Poseidon didn't live in the skies. He in fact lived on an island that he had created. He made this island in his image and lived peacefully with those who worshipped him. They were even encouraged by Poseidon to use their imagination to help invent all sort of tools that improved their lives and modernize their homes.

The island had been called many different names among mankind. But the name Poseidon chose to name his home was called Atlantis. Its advertisement made their society a utopia and one that many wished to visit for all its technological inventions.

Poseidon was able to protect his home by infusing his power to control the weather and sea through his most powerful weapon. One that was made to help him maintain his power, due to the immense power the Olympian possessed. The Trident contained a great deal of magic and power, which in the right hands can do wonderous things. In the wrong hands though, it can bring devastation and destruction to all life.

Many humans respected but also feared Poseidon. Seeing him as a cruel God that could be ruthless if he is disrespected. That he would go after any woman he desires, even if they are married. However, none of this was true. Poseidon was a kind and gentle God, who valued all life, including the life of his people.

They loved him and he would fight to protect them from all harm.

Eventually, as the centuries passed, Poseidon would settle down. Marrying with a human wife and having three children of his own.

The oldest was Titus. Considered the strongest of the three siblings and the bravest.

The second was Alexis. Considered to be a master of magic, would solve disputes through peaceful negotiations, and use her smarts than brute force.

Then there was the youngest of the trio. Unlike his two siblings, he wasn't strong or possessed any skills with magic. However, he made up for it by listening to his people. Helping them out in any way he could.

Never ask for anything in return. And despite being powerless, he would use his smarts to help him solve any solution without violence.

The people respected the three siblings and loved them all, but they drew more towards the younger sibling. Seeing him more suited to be the future ruler of their kingdom. Something Alexis seemed to agree with, while Titus did not. Believing his accomplishments in combat were proof to his claim to the throne.

That was, until the day their father chose the youngest of the siblings to become his successor to rule over their kingdom of Atlantis. Much to the shock and anger of Titus, who demanded to know why his father would do this. Why he would betray him despite all he's done for him. And all he has done for their people.

Poseidon though believes that a true king cannot rule with lust for power or violence in their heart. But rather to truly achieve peace, to rule with kindness in their heart, and love.

Titus though saw his father go from being one of the most powerful gods, to being a weak cowardly ruler. One that he could not allow. So, he searched out the help of an evil Sea Witch. She promised him the power he needed to take over the kingdom and overthrow his father.

In exchange, he promises to give her and her family their own domain in the sea. Something Titus agreed to do.

The Sea Witch provided Titus a new trident. One of the original three weapons made during the Great Titan War, between the Gods of Olympus and the Titans.

The original trident was created to help Poseidon gain full control over the sea, its creatures, and the weather. While also possessing powerful magic that would make it a match against a Titan. The weapon though was used to help gain control over the Leviathan. A powerful titanic monster that fought for the Titans but was later used by the Olympians in their war.

Using the power of the trident, Titus launched a war against Atlantis. With the Sea Witch summoning an army of monsters to help fight against their enemies.

Poseidon, filled with rage for his son's betrayal, summoned his own army to fight. With Alexis using her magic to help their forces against the Sea Witch and her army. While the younger brother helped get the people to safety. All the while the battle raged on.

Titus confronted his brother during the battle and tried to use the Leviathan to kill him. But Poseidon arrived in time and saved his son. Weakening the Leviathan during the fighting. All the while, Alexis confronted the Sea Witch and defeated her.

Poseidon was left in a weakened state during the fighting against the Leviathan, which allowed Titus to nearly kill his father. But the younger brother grabbed his father's weapon and called on its power to sever his brother's right arm. This caused him to drop the original trident, which Poseidon regained and used its power to defeat his son. And thus ending their war.

Once the fight ended, the trident was sealed away and was tasked by Alexis to watch over. While the Sea Witch's family were banished for their involvement in Titus' madness and would never return to Atlantis. The Sea Witch vowed to make the family of Poseidon pay for what they did. And vowed they would take what is rightfully theirs before they disappeared into the sea.

As punishment for his crimes, Poseidon used the power of the trident to transform his son into the monster he has become. He then sealed him away in the deepest part of the sea, where he will never harm an innocent soul again.

Despite stopping his son, the island was heavily damaged and began to sink beneath the sea. With his last amount of strength, Poseidon sacrificed himself to save his people. Using his power to transform his son, daughter, and the rest of their people into Merpeople. Half-human from the waist up and half-fish from the waist down.

The people would be able to breathe underwater and be safe from the surface world.

Poseidon even transformed their beloved home into a large underwater kingdom. Allowing their people to continue living their lives and be safe from harm. However, their technology would remain lost beneath the sea, out of fear it would fall into the wrong hands.

Before he passed, Poseidon named his youngest son as his successor. Passing on his title, while making him promise to hide the original trident from the world. While also promising he'll keep their people safe. To keep them from being harmed from their enemies, whether by sea or surface.

The son accepted and took his father's place as king. With his last breath Poseidon told his son he loved him and to never stop believing in himself. Once he passed his son turned to the people and declared himself their king. While Alexis left to hide the original trident and keep it safe from their enemies.

However, the son knew one day his brother could be free and would seek revenge. So, he dedicated his life to becoming stronger so that one day should his brother ever return he will be ready to defeat him so that no man, woman, child, or any life will ever suffer his evil diabolical wrath…

(Narration over)

"Triton enough you're scaring the girls," said an older redheaded mermaid as she swam into the room, while her six daughters hid under their blankets. "I told you not to read them anything scary, Triton."

"Oh, um yes, I'm sorry about that, Athena, my dear," said Triton as he apologized to his wife and his daughters. "I'm sorry, girls. I guess I got a little carried away with the story."

Athena rolled her eyes knowing her husband tended to make the stories too exciting. "All right little ones, come on out. It was just a story. No need to be frightened"

The six daughters soon came out of their blankets and tried to act like they weren't scared. It didn't work as the parents could see the fear on the faces of their children.

"W-we weren't scared," said the youngest of the daughters Aquata.

"Then how come you were hiding under your bed?" the third oldest Andrina said who spoke in a sarcastic tone.

"No, I wasn't," Aquata said trying to act brave.

"Yes, you were," said the second oldest Andrina.

"Quiet girls, you three don't want to wake your little sister, do you?" Athena asked the girls to quiet down. "Good, now off to bed and if you don't, I'll ask your father to read you another story."

All six girls shrieked as they swam towards their beds trying to fall asleep. They each gave a goodnight's kiss, before tucking them in for bed. The parents chuckled as they left the room so their daughters could rest. And let them dream of a nice peaceful dream.

They headed towards their room where Triton apologized. "I'm sorry dear. Attina began asking questions about Poseidon and Atlantis, and well, I guess I got a little carried away," he sighed softly and moved his hand along the walls. "I guess talking about father and our home it brought back some…memories."

"I know you meant well," said Athena as she kisses her husband on the cheek. "I know that, but you should be careful on what you tell them, especially about that part of our history. Just promise me to try picking a nice fun story please."

"I will," said Triton who will avoid anymore scary stories. "I also wanted to try giving you some time with Ariel since I know you two haven't been able to bond all week," said Triton as he turns to the crib where the youngest of the children is sleeping in.

Athena knew that was true. She looked over at the crib that was near their bed. Their youngest daughter Ariel was born a few weeks ago and Athena didn't have much time to bond with her. She swims over her husband and kisses him on the cheek.

"Thank you," she said as she hugs her husband who returns the hug. "Tell you what, next time you want to read them a story ask me, and I'll give you some good ideas on what to read to them."

Triton nodded and kissed his wife back on the cheek, "I will and thank you."

Athena swims towards the crib and sees their daughter sleeping while sucking on her thumb. Triton swims over and sees this. It made him smile whenever he saw his daughter. He doesn't care if all the girls he has are girls. He is just happy to be a father and to have a beautiful wife like Athena.

Athena noticed her husband smiling and leans forward to kiss him on the lips. He returns the kiss, and they move towards the bed where they break the kiss.

Athena removes her tiara and places it on the table nearby. "Of all the stories though did you have to tell themthatpart of our history? You know it's not one I like to hear very often."

Triton nods in agreement and lets out a small sigh, "I figured it is one that will teach them a lesson and it will not have them follow the same path Titus took."

Athena turned to her husband who after all these years still felt responsible for what happened. She wrapped her arms around him and placed he head on his chest.

"He made his choice and paid the price for it. Do not blame yourself for what happened and be glad for what you have."

Triton smiles a little and wrapped his arms around his wife, "I know, I just wish things turned out differently. I know he would have loved to be an uncle and Alexis to be an aunt."

Athena nods her head, "Your father would be proud of you. Just like how proud I am of you."

"Thank you," said Triton as he puts his crown away on the desk near the bed.

Athena lets out a loud yawn and begins feeling sleepy. "Shall we get some sleep before Ariel wakes up?"

Triton nods in agreement. "Goodnight my dear Athena."

Athena yawned again and replies before drifting off to sleep, "Goodnight, Triton…and goodnight, Ariel."

There we go. That's the end of this first chapter. Some stuff in the chapter were kept the same but made a few changes. My friend though didn't seem to mind it. He's just glad I saw the errors in the writing and was able to fix them.

Still, yeah this was fun to look over, edit, but kept it close to the original. Still, will this get a little longer and not be short? Probably. But with how my other stories are going, I may need to keep this one short for now.

At least, until things pick up.

The background of Atlantis and the home where Ariel is from is the same. The name is different, but my friend and I both agreed its all the same. Also, yes Poseidon is Ariel's grandpa, which means she's related to the other Greek Gods. And has a lot of cousins too, like Hercules.

Anyways, thank you all for the support for my friend and he appreciates all you've done guys. If you like how this chapter went, then please leave some reviews. Just nothing negative please. See you all next time, take good care, and have a good day.
