A/N: For some reason I really struggled with this one, so kept it short and sweet!

She woke the next morning with her face half buried in the soft hotel pillows. The bed beside her was empty, but the sheets were still warm, telling her that Will hadn't been up long. As she got her bearings in the soft light in the room, her gaze fell to the diamond ring where it sat on her finger, glinting in the chink of light cutting between the curtains.

It still felt surreal. Even though they had discussed it over the years of dating, she still couldn't believe it. After all the craziness, impossibilities, and tragedy her life had brought forward, he still wanted to marry her and be a part of every single second of it.

Pushing herself up, she grabbed Will's t-shirt from the end of the bed, tugging it over her head and running a hand through her hair. In the bathroom, she heard the toilet flush, followed by the sink running for a few moments. Shortly after, the bathroom door slid open, Will coming out into the room in nothing but his boxers. He smiled, leaning against the frame as his eyes raked over her still sleepy frame where she sat cross legged in the middle of the bed.

"Hey," he said softly, the corners of his lips quirking up into a small smile. JJ giggled, raking her fingers through her hair once more as she let out a yawn.

"Hey," she replied sleepily, making Will chuckle as he pushed away from the doorframe and crawled onto the bed in front of her. Leaning forward, he tipped her chin up with the tip of his finger, pressing his lips to hers in a deep kiss. It was sweet, and passionate, both of them still feeling the heady range of emotions that the previous evening had brought on. When they broke apart, Will smiled at her, his blue eyes flicking up to meet hers.

"Good morning fiancée," he breathed, his finger still resting underneath her chin. JJ broke into a happy grin, leaning into his touch as she stared at him through sleepy lashes.

"Good morning fiancé," she whispered back, making him chuckle.

"You look… so irresistible right now," Will hummed, his hand trailing down JJ's arm until it was resting on her hip. She giggled as he leaned forward and pressed a kiss to the tip of her nose. "But most of all… you look happy. And that's what you deserve"

Filled with fresh appreciation for her sweet guy, JJ lifted her arms up, draping them over his shoulders and pressing her body to his. They stayed like that for just a moment, happy and content in their loved up bubble. Then the silence was broken by JJ's stomach growling, making Will burst out laughing.

"Time to feed the beast?" he teased, tickling her side. She laughed, collapsing on top of him as she tried to wriggle away from his touch.

"The beast wants pancakes"

Will laughed. "I think that can be managed"
