Chapter 1: Through the Looking Glass
The Scene opens up on a sunny sky with only a few clouds dwelling within it. Panning down we are all greeted by the sight of a Car speeding down the road and entering a town. As the Car enters the city limits it passes a sign reading: "WELCOME TO THE CITY OF ECLIPSA - Pop: 3300". The view then goes to the rearview mirror of the car where we are greeted by the sight of several other vehicles entering Eclipsa, it seems lately that the City has had a major population spike. To find out why we are then taken to a cafe where patrons of all shoes and sizes are dining on croissants and drinking Hot Chai and Coffee. Inside the Cafe is a TV playing the Daily News. At this moment an interview is happening between a woman and a Man. The Woman wearing a half-buttoned red suit, her long pigtail resting over her shoulders as she meticulously holds her microphone. It's the Eclipsa City news reporter: Kelly Geoff. Beside her is one of, if not the most famous person in Eclipsa City today: Reginald Lux.
Kelly: "Good evening everybody, I'm Kelly Geoff and I'm here Live reporting to you all from outside Lux Corporations. I'm here with The Ceo of Lux Corporations now, Mr. Reginald Lux. Now Mr. Lux it seems that everyone has been flocking to the good city of Eclipsa ever since you made your announcement of your "free for all" Competition I believe is the way you quoted it."
Reginald Lux: "Why yes Cathy, I'm all about giving back to the community but I believe my track record speaks for itself."
Kelly: "Um, it's Kel-"
Reginald: "Now I would love to go down memory lane and talk all about my successful ventures and accolades, Lord knows I've obtained quite a bit. But I believe it's high time I tell you all just what kind of competition I've planned: A treasure hunt!"
Kelly: "A treasure hunt?"
Reginald: "Yes Caroline, but let me elaborate on that. I, yes, I, am going to be holding a treasure hunt with a big prize."
Reginald would walk off camera for a bit and return with a model skull of a human head, except it was made entirely of solid gold.
Reginald: "You see these special skulls decorate every wall in my office. But as valuable as they are a commodity to show off, they will also pave the way for any commoner to begin their path of luxury! I have had my staff work around the clock to hide these bad boys all around the city, approximately 200 of them. With a city of over three thousand people, I knew hiding only two hundred would bring out the most ambitious this city had to offer."
Kelly: "So what you're saying is that anyone who finds these skulls hidden around the city will win a prize from you?"
Reginald: "Slow down there Kalidescope…"
Kelly: "That one was on purpose."
Reginald: "Those who find the two hundred skulls will only be halfway done. If you manage to find one then you will gain entry to my mansion in one week after the hunt for the skulls end. From there they will be treated to a fine feast, entertainment of all sorts, and then finally compete against one another in a thrilling, but safe, challenge. The one who wins that challenge will receive this!"
At the snap of his fingers, two gentlemen in black pinstriped suits approach the camera, each one with one hand on a briefcase. Reginald opens the suitcase up to reveal a golden arrow. His hand brushes on its surface for a moment before he turns back to the camera with a bright smile.
Reginald: "I've been around for a long time, and in that time, I've not only started my very own company from scratch and become an eccentric billionaire, but I've also collected a lot of treasures in that time as well. One of them is that we have moved on from the days of horseback riding and bow firing in our civilized times. But this arrow can still be of use to anyone! Because the starting retail price is twelve million dollars. That's right, win my competition and you will receive this item that will make you rich beyond your days. Or if you're not after money then you can at least claim ownership of an item that ninety-eight percent of the world's population does not have. Be you a dancer, hotdog vendor, or some bum on the street, this is your chance to be forever immortalized in history. Not just her in the town of Eclipsa, but on the very planet Earth."
Kelly: "You said twelve million!? I don't know about the rest of you folks, but I'm going to start searching once my shift is over."
Reginald: "I'm loving where your mind is at Koala. But not just her you, yes all of you, can participate. Get a train, get a plane, or ride out here with gas in your lugs and your foot on the pedal. Because Reginald Lux's twelve million dollar hunt has officially started! It's time we get more millionaires in the world and dammit I'm going to put more on the planet before I breathe my last."
Kelly: "You heard it here folks, a twelve million dollar treasure hunt is on and if you want your chance to win you gotta find one of those two hundred skulls. This might be the most exciting event to ever happen in Eclipsa in recent memory. I just hope this city is ready to be in for quite the exciting adventure."
Reginald: "If I had it my way Kathy, It would be a bizarre adventure."
A person in the background would yell: "CUT!" as the camera crew began to disperse. Kelly and Reginald take their leave and as he goes Reginald takes one last look at the arrow, making his big smile grow even wider. The two gentlemen carrying the case it's in would close it back up then follow behind Reginald as he got in his limo.
Chapter End
Hello readers! This was the introductory chapter for my SYOC and First Story. Now this story takes place in the JJBA universe. Which means adventure, big brain moves, stands..maybe even Hamon. Below is the form to submit your character but before you get to that I want to thank you for checking this story out. Sorry this first one was short i'll create longer ones once I'm given characters to work with. There is no deadline for your character submissions but do hurry to submit as I'm only accepting six applicants to be our protagonist crew on this adventure and three antagonists. Why so few you may ask? It's because I like to start small and build from there this is my part 1 after all and if I get decent submissions and create a compelling story I plan to make a page 2, 3, and possibly 4. This may be my first story but I'm in it for the long haul and I plan to show no signs of stopping. Please submit forms via PM, as any accepted characters I don't want to be spoiled.

(Note: Make sure we don't overdo it with the stands and their abilities. It can be a custom ability or a cannon ability that exists in the Jojo lore. Either way, make sure the stats and abilities are not too op. A good way to call this is simple if you're thinking of a combat scenario for your character and you ask yourself the question how can they not lose more than how can they lose? Chances are that it's too op. But I will admit that I'm a fan of creativity and there's a chance your seemingly op ability could be accepted if I see that it's op because of how creative it can be used and not because of its power just because.)
