It's a cold night in January and Robert is taking Giselle out to dinner.
ZIP,Robert zips the back of Giselle's dress looking at her in the full length mirror. He's taking in how gorgeous she looks before he leans in to her ear and whispers, "Do you have any idea how beautiful you look? I can't take my eyes off of you."
He rests his hands on her hips as he presses a soft kiss right below her ear. They make eye contact in the mirror, Giselle blushing as she does anytime he says, "I love you." with his eyes. Meanwhile he is only half dressed with slacks on and a button down that he hasn't managed to button yet because he got distracted by his beautiful wife. He may have also been trying to distract Giselle with his chest. Which is doing exactly that. She got lost looking between his eyes and chest after turning to look at him placing her hands on his chest.
Robert smiles and holds back a chuckle.
"What are you smiling about?" Giselle asks him.
"Oh nothing just how you still get distracted by my chest."
"Well you have a very nice chest I can't help it." She starts playing with his chest hair while they get lost in each other's eyes. She can't take it anymore and closes the gap between them kissing his soft lips. He moves his hands from her hips to the small of her back pulling her closer. They both let out a hum before reluctantly pulling away.
"I should probably finish getting dressed so we're not late."
"Yeah you probably should. I'm going to check on the girls." She says looking disappointed
Robert gives her a soft kiss before she walks out of their room.
He decides to go without a tie tonight leaving the top two buttons undone, and puts on a suit jacket. He puts on the cologne Giselle bought for his birthday.
Going out into the living room he stops; looking at Giselle as she feeds Sofia a is just so thinks to himself.
The sitter arrives and they give her the instructions for bottles and bedtime for Sofia.
"We love you, be good." Robert's says giving both Morgan and Sofia kisses, and Giselle does the same.
They arrive at the restaurant, sitting on the same side of the booth. They haven't taken their hands off each other since leaving the house. Stealing quick kisses and looks as they sit at the table.
"Have I told you how handsome you look tonight?" Giselle looks at Robert. "You haven't but I could tell by the way you've been looking at me like you want to bite me, and clinging to me since we left the house." He says with a smile.
"I have not been clinging to you. You're the one who has been holding my thigh rubbing it the entire time we've been sitting here." She says acting annoyed by it but he knows she loves it.
"Well I like your thighs. They're perfect just like everything else about you." He squeezes her thigh and leans in to kiss her.
They finish their meal flirting and talking about their week before they hail a cab to head home. After the sitter leaves Robert says, "It's so quiet. You know what that means?" Looking at Giselle with a coy grin.
"We can eat ice cream and watch a movie!" Giselle responds happily
"Oh yeah we could do that too." He says disappointed realizing she wasn't having the same thought.
"Oh." She says noticing he's disappointed, "What were you thinking?"
"I was thinking maybe we could finish the kissing we started earlier?" He chuckles nervously; after years of marriage still unsure how to bring up the topic of sex to Giselle.
"Hmm I like your idea better! But I still want ice cream." She says as she moves into the kitchen.
They get a bowl of ice cream and then he helps her unzip her dress. He just stays in boxers while she puts on one of his pajama shirts before they get in bed to cuddle and eat their sundaes.
Robert's feeds Giselle the last bite and makes sure to get some on her chin; on accident of course.
"Oh I'm sorry I'll clean it up." He says as he places the bowl on the nightstand and reaches for Giselle.
She giggles as he kisses her chin and lets out a hum tasting the ice cream mixed with her soft skin. He continues to her lips. Deepening the kiss. They continue their romantic night together.
