"Uh oh? That is what you have to say?" Dean said and took another step toward her.

Kate backed away until her legs hit her bed. "I, uh, I meant please go downstairs."

Dean chuckled darkly. "That is not at all what you meant."

Kate scooted back on the bed and scrambled for words. "I just need time to myself, that's all."

Dean "You tried to compel me."

Kate froze.

"Not only did you try to compel me, you lied to my face when it didn't work." Dean said.

"I'm sorry. I'll go downstairs." She said and tried to dart by him.

Dean reached out and grabbed her arm before she could flee. "Not so fast."

The anger Kate was feeling started to rise back to the surface. She knew she messed up but he was being unfair. "Let go of me!"

Dean shook his head. "Not until you calm down."

Kate tried to jerk her arm away. "I'm not going to calm down with you holding me." She hit him in the ribs with her free hand and pulled her trapped arm free.

Dean grabbed his ribs and hissed. He managed to grab her with his other hand. He was seeing red. He couldn't believe she had punched him. He also couldn't believe how much it hurt. He had sparred with her and trained her but this was beyond her normal fight.

Kate found her wits for a moment. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

Dean yelled down the stairs for Bobby.

Bobby stood at the bottom of the stairs.

Dean pinned Kate's arm behind her and walked her down the stairs. "Take her."

Bobby took in the look on Dean's face and his hand on his side. "What happened?"

Dean shook his head. "I need a minute. If you don't take her, my belt is coming off."

Bobby took Kate's arm and sat her down at the table.

Dean opened the front door and stepped onto the porch.

Kate fidgeted in her seat. She didn't mean to hurt him. She was angry and felt trapped but she hit him too hard. She shouldn't have hit him at all but if someone was holding him captive he would hit them.

Bobby watched her wrestle with her thoughts. He had never seen Dean that mad at her and he wondered what she had done. He flicked his eyes at Sam to go check on Dean.

Sam grabbed a beer and took it with him.

Dean heard the door open but didn't turn around. He took the beer that was held in front of his face and took a long drink.

Sam didn't ask any questions.

Dean eventually turned around and leaned against the railing. "She hit me."

Sam raised his brow. "Why did she do that?"

"She tried to storm out and I grabbed her arm. When I didn't let go, she hit me." Dean said, sullenly.

He knew that would upset Dean but any other time he would have at least swatted her. He was unsure why Dean was angry enough to need space. "Did she slap you?"

Dean shook his head and lifted the side of his shirt.

Sam sucked air through his teeth. "Kate did that?"

Dean nodded and drank more of the beer.

"Are your ribs broken?" Sam asked.

Dean pushed on his side. "No, just bruised."

Sam leaned against the railing beside Dean. "She must have been pretty mad."

Dean shrugged. "She was but, Sammy, she had so much force behind that punch, with so little effort that it caught me off guard. If it was a punch from you, I would expect it but she is little. She has muscle but not that kind of muscle."

Sam looked at the front door. "What are you thinking?"

Dean emptied the bottle. "You found something and that is why she made you forget. I'm thinking it is all connected."

Sam had a dull headache. He knew he had been compelled but the headache was growing in a way that it hadn't the previous times.

Dean handed Sam the bottle and asked for a few more minutes.

Sam took it. "Are you going to call dad?"

Dean sighed. "No. I don't want to until we figure this out. He was worried about her turning into a monster and I don't want this to prove him right. She can go off and do some stupid things but this isn't her."

Sam walked back inside and went to the kitchen where Kate and Bobby were.

Bobby gave him a tired look and sat down.

Kate kept her head down on the table and thought about falling asleep. She wondered how vision time compared to outside time.

Dean entered a few minutes later with a concerned, yet determined, look on his face. He spoke quietly to Bobby before turning to Kate. "What was that?"

Kate didn't look up. "What?"

Dean bumped the table. "Look at me."

Kate looked at him.

"You punched me." Dean said.

Kate sighed. "I did. I'm sorry."

Dean leaned on the table. "You are sorry?" He pulled his shirt up to show the mark that was already turning colors. "You didn't just hit me out of frustration, you hit me hard enough to bruise the moment your knuckles hit."

Bobby looked between the bruise and Kate.

"I don't know what to say except I'm sorry." Kate said.

Dean lowered his shirt. "How about you explain how you packed that much strength behind a punch."

Kate smirked. "I don't know. Could it be the hours of exercise you force me to do?"

Dean glared at her. "How? No, exercise doesn't make you that strong over night."

Kate sighed. "I was holding back before."

Dean walked around the table and stood her up. He swatted her a dozen times before forcing her to sit back down.

Kate was barely phased.

"Either you start talking or Sam will read you." Dean said.

Sam wasn't sure he wanted to.

Kate leaned back in her chair and rocked it. "Maybe it is just where I hit you."

Dean grabbed her arm and placed it on the table. "Sammy?"

Sam sighed but grabbed Kate's hand. He closed his eyes and attempted to read her. He jerked his hand away and held his head. He groaned and curled into himself.

"What did you do?" Dean demanded.

"I didn't do anything. He doesn't use his abilities enough and of course it is going to hurt." Kate stated.

Dean narrowed his eyes. His Kate would crumble upon hurting Sam. "Who are you?"

Kate gave him a dead pan look. "Who are you?"

Bobby could see Dean getting frazzled. "We can test her."

Dean nodded. He hoped that one of the tests would show that the person in front of him wasn't her.

Bobby ran a silver utensil across her arm but there was no reaction. He checked her teeth for a second row of pointier teeth and checked for other signs of the supernatural. He splashed her with holy water and there was still no reaction. He sighed and shrugged at Dean.

"When did this start?" He asked.

Bobby rubbed his face. "She was normal Kate when we got to Lacy's house."

Dean tried to piece the night together with Sam and Bobby's spotty memories. "Where is the symbol she drew?"

Kate growled in frustration. "This is stupid."

Bobby ignored her outburst and showed Dean the design.

Dean had seen something like that but couldn't quite place it. "Where did you find this?"

Kate rolled her eyes. "My brain."

Dean turned her chair toward him. "Did you see it in one of your visions?"

Kate looked away from him "I don't know. Bobby told me to stay in the truck so I stayed in the freaking truck. I look out the widow and see Sam about to die and drew the sigil."

Dean watched her face. "What does the sigil do?"

Kate fought the urge to kick him. "Oh my god. Sam saw them burn up. It burns demons."

Dean looked at Sam. "You saw them burn?"

Sam thought about it. "I saw a bright light and they kind of went into it."

Kate hated that Dean could piece things together. "I saved him."

Dean nodded. "You did. I want to know how." He blocked her foot from connecting with his shin. "Don't."

Bobby was surprised by the second assault attempt.

Dean took a closer look at the symbol and pulled out his phone. He made a phone call and walked out of the room.

Sam stayed quiet and watched from a far corner. He had taken something for his head and was thrown off with her willingness to hurt him. Something wasn't right. He walked out of the room to find Dean.

Dean had just gotten off the phone and saw Sam. "What is it?"

Sam rubbed his head. "I don't think she is just Kate."

Dean sighed. "What are you thinking?"

"It is always demons isn't it?" Sam said.

Dean groaned. "We tried the holy water. She didn't react."

"Did you find out what the symbol was?" Sam asked.

Dean grimaced. "I had to call dad. He doesn't know what all is going on yet but he said to look at siphoning symbols." He looked at Bobby's books until he found one that may lead to answers.

Sam pointed to one of the pages. "There. What is that?"

Dean looked at it and turned Kate's symbol upside down. "Huh, it must be several symbols put together. What does it do?"

Sam read the page and paled. "This one part talks about siphoning spirit or souls."

Dean furrowed his brows. "Like what Hellen did?"

Sam shrugged. "This one is different."

Dean took the book back to the kitchen. "Explain." He said and sat it in front of Kate.

"I told you I don't know where the symbol came from." Kate said.

Dean took a deep breath. "What happened after the light?"

Kate looked at him with disgust. "Demons went bye bye."

Dean counted to ten in his head.

"God dammit." Bobby grumbled and grabbed another reference book. "Where did the demons go after they burned up."

Kate rested her head on the table. "Dunno."

Bobby pointed to the paragraph on spirit sickness. He wasn't certain but the symptoms made sense.

Dean looked from the page to Kate. He grabbed a jar of holy water and poured some into a cup. "Drink this."

Kate rolled her eyes. "You already tested me."

"Drink it." Bobby said forcefully.

Kate took several large sips and sat it down. "See, nothing." She said confidently.

Bobby sighed and rubbed his head.

Sam watched Kate and barely grabbed the trash can in time to keep her from throwing up all over the floor.

Kate felt the nausea hit her like a truck. Her stomach hurt and her body was on fire. She sat back and wiped her mouth.

Bobby grabbed her arm and held her hand out. Her hand had black residue on it.

Dean's eyes widened. "Drink more."

Kate turned her head away. "No."

Dean crouched in front of her. "Kid, you are sick."

Kate pushed the cup away. "I don't want to." She felt like she was on a boat.

Dean rubbed her back. "You'll throw up a bit and then you should be better. If this is spirit sickness, you are going to get worse until it clears your system."

Kate reluctantly drank more before throwing up again. She was shivering and her heart was beating too fast. "Help."

Dean cradled her and soothed her. "It is okay. You are okay." She had to be okay. "How did this happen?"

Kate groaned and threw up again. "They hit me in the chest."

Dean looked at Bobby and shrugged.

Kate pushed the cup away when it was handed back to her. "I'm done."

Bobby shook his head. "Drink or talk."

Kate wiped her mouth with a wet cloth. "After the spell, they didn't burn up. I absorbed them."

Dean stiffened. "Excuse me. Spell?"

Kate whined. "Not now." and threw up again.

"This may not be the sickness then." Bobby said and searched for more books. He didn't know why the holy water wasn't burning her.

Sam got Kate a normal cup of water and let her take a few sips. "Breathe." He wiped her face with a cloth and brushed the hair from her face.

Dean's phone buzzed in his pocket and he looked at the number. He closed his eyes and shifted Kate off of his lap. "I'm going to take this."

Kate rested her head on the table and tried to calm down the nausea.

Dean stepped outside and answered the phone. "Dad."

"Took you long enough." John grumbled.

Dean sighed. "Yeah I was caught up."

John pulled out his journal and flipped it open. "Why did you need to know about those symbols."

Dean squinted his eyes. "Working a case."

John drummed his fingers on his thigh. "What kind of case?"

"Dad, I am handling it. Just give me time." Dean pleaded.

John wasn't used to Dean not answering direct questions. "Dean, report."

Dean rubbed the back of his neck. "Something happened with Kate. I don't know what exactly."

John turned the key in the ignition. "Continue, Dean."

"She got an off feeling a few days ago and it seems to be because Lacy was approached by a demon. She can see when someone has been touched by the supernatural. At least we think so. I was on a hunting trip when I got a call from Lacy that something was wrong. Bobby, Sam and Kate went over to Lacy's house to check on her. Kate stayed in the truck while Sam and Bobby went in. Something happened during that time that messed with Kate." Dean said.

John was silent for a moment. "So what happened?"

Dean grumbled. "I don't know, dad. I am piecing it together. I just need time."

"Dean just tell me all of it." John said, concerned.

"She drew some kind of sigil on the truck window and got rid of the demons. We think something happened after that. She may have absorbed them."

John sighed. "She absorbed the demons?"

"I don't know. I was trying to get her to talk when you called. She isn't herself. Dad, she punched me." Dean said, sadly.

John nearly chuckled. "She punched you?"

Dean sighed. "Hard enough to bruise on impact."

John slammed his hand against the steering wheel. "Damn it."

"She messed with Bobby and Sam's memories but vervain stops the compulsion." Dean added.

"Dean, I told you." John started.

Dean took a deep breath. "We will figure this out. I don't think this is just her using her abilities."

"Keep me in the loop." John said and hung up the phone

Dean gave himself a moment before reentering the house.

Kate was calm but resting her head still.

Bobby gave Dean a look and sat back down.

"How are you feeling?" Dean asked.

Kate didn't look up. "Awful."

"Are you ready to talk?" Dean asked.

Kate shook her head.

Dean tapped the table. "Head up, kiddo."

Kate propped her head on her hand. "What?"

"Where did you find the sigil?"

Kate groaned and put her head back down. "I don't know."

"It had to come from somewhere." Dean said.

Kate looked at him. "I panicked and it came to me. It is three sigils layered on top of each other."

Bobby asked her to draw each of the three sigils.

Kate lazily drew them and pushed the paper to Bobby. "Can I go upstairs now?"

"No." Dean said and stopped her from standing. "You have a lot to explain."

Kate glared at him.

Dean could see she was still on edge. "Let's run."

Kate rolled her eyes. "I don't want to run."

Dean popped his neck. "Too bad, we are going to."

Bobby raised a brow at Dean but didn't say anything.

Kate got her shoes and met Dean on the porch. "How many miles?"

Dean shrugged. "I don't know yet." He stepped off the porch and motioned for her to run with him. He could run for miles with no problem but knew Kate had a limit. He planned to have her run off the anger so that she could get her head on straight.

Kate followed along beside Dean, lost in her head. They made the loop back around to Bobby's house and Kate stopped.

Dean looked at her. "Keep going."

Kate rolled her eyes dramatically but kept going.

Dean watched her, expecting her to start getting tired. He had run with her more mornings than not and knew after three miles she was ready to quit. He didn't think much of the extra mile or two because he also ran more when he was angry. They got back to Bobby's house again and he stopped her. "You aren't even breaking a sweat."

Kate feigned exhaustion. "It isn't hot today."

Dean studied her. "That is twice your daily run and you aren't even tired."

Kate scoffed. "I am tired."

"You are going to keep lying to me?" Dean asked.

Kate kicked a nearby car tire.

Dean steered her toward the shed. He saw the cinder blocks stacked up. "Did you move these?"

Kate shrugged.

Dean sometimes moved them around for training purposes but thought they were on the heavy side for Kate to lift above hip level. "That is a yes or no question."

"Fine. Yes." Kate said.

Dean eyed her. "Move them back."

Kate tried to lift one. "I can't."

Dean snorted. "Bull. Unstack them."

Kate didn't move.

"Either move them or I make you move them." Dean said with a low tone.

Kate unstacked two but her anger was suffocating. She picked up the second one and threw it at his feet.

Dean jumped back and glared at her.

Kate flinched at the look.

"What is happening with you?" Dean asked.

Kate shrugged. Her anger had faded slightly and she felt the flutters of guilt. "Can we go back inside?"

Dean smirked. "We can go inside when you are ready to talk about what happened."

Kate sat down on the ground and pulled her knees to her chest.

Dean sat down beside her but didn't say anything. His phone buzzed and he read the message.

Kate looked to the side. "What is it?"

Dean sighed. "Dad."

Kate groaned. "You told him, didn't you?"

Dean nodded. "I didn't have much of a choice. I did tell him I was handling it."

Kate dug her nails into the palms of her hand.

Dean placed a hand on her back. "That is your choice. He said he could take a detour."

Kate shook her head. "No."

Dean smirked. "Then get to talking."

"No matter what I say, you are going to be mad." Kate said.

Dean nodded. "We have had this conversation before."

"So why bother?" Kate mumbled.

"Well, right now, the way I see things is you compelled Bobby and Sam. You hid something and lied about it. You hit me and threw a cinder block at me. That scratches the surface. Now I'm not saying that anything you can say will make any of that okay but something isn't adding up. You do lie and hide things but you don't hurt people. You don't run six miles without breaking a sweat and throw a cinderblock across the room." Dean said. He held his arm out for her to scoot closer. "I'll listen. I'll try to help you."

Kate leaned her head against him. "I'm sorry I punched you."

Dean nodded. "Just talk to me."

"I was right about Lacy." Kate said.

Dean nodded again. "You were and she is okay because of it."

"I was right about saving Sam too."

"How did you save Sam?" Dean asked, gently.

"I told you about the sigil already."

Dean squeezed her. "Where did you get the idea to mix sigils?"

Kate looked at him with pleading eyes. "I don't know. It was instinct. I promise I don't know."

Dean sighed. "Okay. You drew it in your blood and touched your hand to it?"

Kate nodded. "I don't know how it worked. I have a feeling it has to do with my blood."

Dean furrowed his brows. "What about your blood?"

"You have to have something similar to what ever you are pulling. I got attacked by a hellhound and I think maybe that is how I was able to absorb the two demons." She felt her heart beat faster.

Dean felt his own heart break a little. "We can figure that out. What happened when you absorbed them?"

Kate felt tears coming to the surface. "It hurt at first but then it felt good. It felt like drinking a lot of coffee. I didn't mean to compel Sam and Bobby the first time. I swear."

Dean nodded again. Go on."

"I knew it was wrong but I couldn't stop myself. I was angry and didn't know what to do." Kate mumbled.

Dean sighed. "I think we should finish this inside."

Kate shook her head. "I don't want to go inside."

"Bobby and Sam deserve to know what is going on." Dean said.

Kate frowned. "What if I get angry again?"

Dean smirked. "You will control the anger."

Kate looked up at him. "I'm sorry."

He patted her back. "I know. Let's go figure this out before dad calls back."

Kate reluctantly followed him back into the house.

Dean opened the door. "Did the holy water make the effects easier to control?"

Kate didn't answer. She didn't want to drink any more. She chewed her fingers. "No."

Dean swatted her. "That is a lie."

Kate rubbed the sting away. "It didn't cure me and I don't like throwing up."

Dean sighed. "Getting this out of your system is necessary."

Kate stopped in the hallway. "If I can chill out and control the anger this is a good thing. I am stronger physically and ability wise."

"Abilities and strength are dangerous if you do not have control over your mind and emotions." He replied.

Kate looked toward the kitchen and tried to head to the stairs.

Dean stopped her. "Nope."

Kate frowned but followed him to the kitchen. She sat down but didn't look at Sam or Bobby.

Dean spoke to Bobby and made another pot of coffee. "That little sigil she drew seems to have let her absorb the demons. She got the idea subconsciously and is now running off demon power."

Kate looked at her hands.

"So she possessed?" Bobby asked.

Dean looked at her. "No. This is something different. I don't think you were too far off on the spirit sickness." He added. "She is in control of herself. It isn't like with possession. She is stronger and more angry but she isn't being controlled."

Kate continued to study her hands.

"Compelling us was your choice?" Bobby asked.

Kate slumped. "The first time it was an accident. I lost control after that."

"Punching Dean in the side, zapping Sam... that was your choice?"

Kate hung her head.

Dean held his hand up. "From what I understand, this is like being on some kind of drug."

Bobby understood. "So you need to detox." He said and looked at Kate.

Kate frowned. She wasn't a fan of the anger but the power felt amazing. "I need to calm down."

Dean nodded. "That is going to suck, kid. I can't lie to you. You might as well get everything off your chest now."

Kate put her head on the table.

Sam sat beside her. "What are you hiding?"

Kate shrugged her shoulders. "I messed up."

Sam nudged her. "Did the demons give you a boost?"

Kate nodded. "When I compelled you the first time it was both of you at once. I didn't know I could do that. Then when I went for a run I was faster than normal. I have never felt like this before. I even went on a trip like it was nothing."

Bobby sighed. "You went on a trip?"

Kate looked up. "Uh... ugh. Yes."

"Is that why you kicked me out?" Sam asked.

Kate nodded. "I'm sorry."

Sam smirked. "What's the big secret?"

Kate frowned. "Last night I couldn't sleep. I had what ever this is keeping me awake. I went into my dream space because I was bored. I didn't aim for anything. I wasn't looking for anything. I wound up in this big stone house and snooped around. I heard some people talking and I understood them. When I woke up I could read the book."

Sam went to get the book.

Dean cleared his throat. "Where was this, uh.. stone house?"

Kate blushed. "Scotland."

Dean scoffed. "Scotland?"

Kate nodded and sat forward. "Not today Scotland though. It was a long time ago. I saw a shield with the same symbol that is on the book so I thought it could be connected. Oh! I met a girl there that could see me. Her name was Ada. She was about my age and had the same birth mark that I do."

Bobby processed the information. "How long were you there?"

Kate paused. She squirmed in her chair. "Well not that long. Just a few minutes each time."

Bobby sighed. "How many times?"

Kate looked at Dean. "Three."

"You went back twice after the first time?" Dean clarified.

"I found out some useful information."

Dean shook his head. "The first time I could understand but two more times? How many times have your little trips ended badly?"

Kate stared at him. "This was different. I had more control over it."

"Did you know you had more control over it?" Dean asked.

Kate shrugged. "I found out who my family is."

Sam handed the translated pages to Dean. "This book was written by someone in your family?"

Kate didn't know. "Well I don't know if they wrote it but it has to mean something. Ada said that some of the girl babies in her family were born with a mark like this. She said that her grandmother had the sight but couldn't tell me much about it. What if this is in my blood? What if this is why my abilities are stronger than Sam's?"

Dean sighed. "What if going back in time to speak to your great great great grandmother changes something important."

Kate rolled her eyes. "I didn't go back in time."

Dean gave her a stern look. "This isn't a game. You should have told someone as soon as you woke up. There was no reason to hide that. Sam could have helped you understand the translation."

Kate threw her hands up. "We are beyond that now." She snipped.

Dean rubbed his head. "Lose the attitude."

Kate felt the anger coming back. "You wanted to know the truth didn't you?"

"Yes but my patience for the attitude is wearing thin."

Kate balled up her fists.

Sam touched her arm. "You can show me and I can help explain."

Kate felt Sam's hand and it fueled the anger. "Don't touch me."

Sam was thrown off by her words. "Kate, I want to help you."

Kate took a deep breath. "I don't need help. I'm telling you what happened."

"You are leaving stuff out. We can't help you if you don't tell us everything." Sam pleaded.

Kate rolled her shoulder. "Then shut up and let me talk." She mumbled under her breath.

Sam furrowed his brow and touched her again. "Kate."

Kate lost control of her temper. "I said don't touch me!" She yelled and hit him in the chest.

Sam slammed back into his chair and held his chest. He struggled to get a good breath.

Dean grabbed Kate and held her arms to her sides. "Alright, detox time."

"What do you need?" Bobby asked.

"I honestly don't know Bobby." He carried her upstairs and sat her on her bed.

Kate tried to stand up. "Dean, let me go."

Dean pushed her back down. "No. Sit. You are going to detox from this demon gunk."

Kate tried to push by him.

Dean noticed she was still strong. He spun her around and threw her off balance. "If you don't sit your ass down and cooperate I swear I will tie you."

Kate threw a punch but didn't make contact.

Dean caught her arm. He sat down and pulled her over his leg. "Enough." He swatted until she stopped fighting him. "Do I need to keep going?"

Kate screeched but stopped fighting him. "No. Let me go."

Bobby walked in with more holy water, towels and a trashcan.

Dean rolled her to sit on the bed. "Drink."

Kate shook her head.

Dean took the cup. "I am not going to leave you. This wont be fun but I'm going to stay with you the entire time."

Kate took the cup and drank some of the water. She fought back tears as she felt the nausea return.

Dean grabbed one of her hairbands and tied her hair back. "You're okay." He took the towel from Bobby and held it for her. "Is Sammy okay?"

Bobby gave him a grimace. "He said he was."

Kate started crying. "I'm sorry."

Dean held the trashcan closer to her. "You can tell him once you are over this."

Kate reluctantly took a second drink. She heaved and held her head.

Dean hated seeing her suffer but wanted the demon influence far away from her.

Bobby went back down to check on Sam.

Sam was still holding his chest.

Bobby took out a bottle of ibuprofen and handed him two. "She got you pretty good."

Sam stared into the distance.

Bobby tapped his elbow. "Let me see."

Sam lifted his shirt to show Bobby where her fist had hit him.

Bobby frowned. "I don't think there is any real damage. That is going to smart though."

Sam looked down at the mark spreading. "Dean was right. She is a lot stronger than she normally is."

Bobby nodded. "She is going to get this out of her system and will be back to normal before too long."

Sam sighed. "Was dad right?"

Bobby shrugged. "I think she is young and impressionable. I think she is at risk for doing things that she may think are right but aren't. I think we need to put some more effort into keeping her straight."

Sam blinked the emotions away. "She is a good kid."

Bobby gave him a glass of water. "If you found yourself on a party drug, I guess you'd have issues controlling yourself as well."

Sam smirked. "I wouldn't know."

Kate was getting weak and the holy water was having less of a reaction.

Dean laid her on her bed and covered her with a blanket. He sat beside her and rubbed the back of his neck. "You go to sleep. I'm not leaving you."

Kate whimpered but closed her eyes.

Dean couldn't decide what he should be feeling. He was scared and angry. He was frustrated that she still wasn't making the right choices. He didn't remember struggling as badly on important things. Sure, he would sneak off to a party or ditch school but when it came to the supernatural, he didn't play around. He wondered if having to keep an eye on Sam had anything to do with it. Sam was known to run off but even he didn't test those boundaries. Kate grew up in the life so this wasn't something she was ignorant on. She looked so peaceful and small at that moment but he feared when she woke up. Would she still be under the influence? If the effects were gone, what was he going to do to remedy the situation? He startled when his phone buzzed. He quickly silenced it so that it didn't wake her up. He saw the message and groaned inwardly.

The message consisted of two words from John. "Call me."
