Author's note. Because I didn't think about it. The bunker is out of the way, no living creatures were harmed during the blast. Maybe some bugs.

Bobby was sitting at his desk when he heard a gust of wind and jerked back when he saw Castiel appear beside him.
"I need the box." Castiel said and plucked the last box from the shelf.
Bobby blinked and Castiel was gone.
Kate felt like her body was on fire. The grace had kept her body together but she was disoriented and hurting. "Dean!"
Taylor put his hand on Kate. "He took them."
Kate looked around and realized that both adults were missing. She met eyes with Castiel as he returned. "What is going on?"
Castiel opened the box and carefully extracted two small vials. "Each of you hold these."
Kate was weak and started crying. "What is happening?"
"I will explain but not now." Castiel said as he wrapped her hand around the vial.
Taylor was scared and shaking.
Castiel drew a symbol on each of their foreheads and chanted something, quietly.
Taylor looked at the vial in his hand. He took Kate's free hand in his and felt the vial start to crumble in his grasp.
Kate tumbled onto the ground and barely escaped being trampled by a horse. She got on her knees and heard musket fire and bagpipes. She tried to run but hit a wall. The wall was more modern and yellow. She cried out for help but changed scenes every few seconds. She was getting dizzy and felt hands on her arms.
Castiel pulled her out of her time loop. He put his hand on her head and tried to calm her impulses. "If you do not gain control, you will be lost."
Taylor fell onto the ground and wrapped his arms around himself. He could feel power pulsing through his veins and felt like a water balloon, about to burst.
Castiel grabbed Dean and Missouri and brought them back to the bunker.
Dean rushed to Kate and put his arms around her. "Hey, I'm here. Breathe."
Missouri did the same for Taylor.
Kate was hysterical and crying. "It hurts!"
Dean looked to Castiel for help.
"So much grace can have side effects." Castiel said.
Dean looked down at Kate and managed to move over so that he could put a hand on Taylor. "Are they okay?"
Castiel looked defeated. "I don't know."
Dean stood up quickly. "What do you mean you don't know?!"
Castiel took a step back. "This has never happened before. Grace is similar to nuclear energy. They were exposed to high amounts of radiation and are changing."
Dean went to press Castiel for details but Kate's shrill scream pulled his attention back to her. "Kate, breathe. Deep breaths for me. I'm here." He pulled her into his lap and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her to him.
Missouri soothed Taylor. He was less volatile but still upset. "Can you tell me if anything hurts?"
Taylor squinted his eyes. "The light. Everything is so loud. I feel like I'm going to explode."
Castiel looked at Taylor and approached him slowly. He put a hand on his head and studied him. "I'll get you to your room. Too much stimulation will make it harder to manage."
Missouri followed them after getting some water. "I'll stay with him. Help Dean with her."
Castiel shut the door and returned to Dean's side.
Kate had managed to drive the back of her head into Dean's mouth and was trying to fight her way out of his arms. "Make it stop!"
Dean ignored his lip and held on tighter. "I'm here. Breathe."
Castiel noticed that Taylor's reaction was much different than Kate's. Perhaps the amount of stuff she had encountered was skewing the results.
Dean's arms were quickly losing the battle with Kate. "Hey! Katelyn, calm down!" he shouted, hoping the familiar tone would ease her out of her panic.
Kate stiffened and went lip, sobbing into his shirt. "Make it stop."
"She is burning up." Dean said. He felt like he was holding a pot of boiling water.
Castiel helped Dean to the bathroom and turned on the shower.
Dean sat on the floor with Kate and let the cool water cool her body. He was shivering but she was still hot.
Castiel couldn't do much to help. He knew that what had been done was done and they could only wait to see how the children ended up.
Dean hummed to Kate and rocked her. He was terrified and trying to manage his own fear in the wake of the events. "You'll be okay. Keep taking those breaths."
Kate's eyes rolled back and she stiffened, dragging her nails down Dean's arm.
Dean hissed and pulled her hand away. "What is wrong with her?"
Castiel crouched down and put fingers on either side of Kate's head. "She can't control herself. Her mind is traveling." He pulled her back to the present time.
Kate was sick to her stomach and frustrated with how awful she felt. She felt like ants had replaced her blood and the air felt like acid. She calmed enough to catch her breath.
Dean heard her mumble something. "Sam is in California. He would want to be here. I'm so sorry."
Kate choked. "I want Sam."
Dean soothed her. "I know. I'm here."
Kate held onto him. "I want Sam too."
Dean took a breath and rubbed her back. "Sam will visit when he can."
Kate felt anger or frustration build in her chest. "I want Sam."
Dean looked at Castiel for help.
Kate repeated her want for Sam over and over.
"Kate, I can't get Sam for you right now. You have to calm down." Dean said.
Kate wrenched herself from Dean's arms and knelt in front of him with her hands over her ears. She rocked herself and screamed. "I want Sam!"
Dean caught her before her head hit the floor and drew her limp body toward him. The scream had made his ears ring and all he could hear was the rushing of the blood in his head.
Sam found a shaded spot to sit and read before his last class of the day. He sat down with his legs crossed in front of him and leaned back against a tree. He felt the tree give and himself falling. He hit something solid and it knocked the breath out of him. He gasped for breath and was too disoriented to realize he wasn't outside anymore.
Castiel heard a loud crash in the garage and ran toward it. He saw someone laying on the hood of a car trying to catch their breath.
Sam blinked rapidly.
Castiel approached. "You are Sam."
Sam groaned. "I think so."
Castiel put a hand on him to heal the impact injuries.
"Where am I? What happened?" Sam said.
Dean looked up as the bathroom door opened. "Sam?!"
Sam slid over to Dean. "What is going on? What happened?"
Dean looked at the unconscious Kate. "I think she..."
"Summoned you." Castiel said.
Sam's mouth dropped open. "I-I was just at school, reading."
"She screamed that she wanted you and then went limp." Dean said.
Sam looked around him. "Where are we?"
Dean picked Kate up and reached for a towel. "The bunker."
"What happened to your face?" Sam asked.
Dean felt of his lip. "She has been freaking out." He dried Kate's face. "Help me with her and I'll fill you in. I still don't know what the hell is going on."
Sam followed Dean. He was too shocked to ask questions.
"Help me get her dry." Dean said.
Sam took the towel and dried Kate's legs. He turned to her duffle and got dry clothes.
Dean dried himself off. "Sit, hold her. Watch her. When she wakes up she may flail and her damn head is a cinderblock."
Sam sat on Kate's bed and cradled her. "What happened to her?"
Dean sighed. "Angel nuke. Radiation poisoning. Does that sum it up?"
Castiel furrowed his brows. "In a sense."
Sam watched Kate's face twitch. "Is she dreaming?"
Castiel didn't answer. He heard chatter on 'angel radio' and walked out of the room.
Dean opened Taylor's door and mouthed 'is he okay?'
Missouri nodded. Taylor fell asleep from exhaustion and hadn't moved.
"Is he running a fever?" Dean asked.
Missouri felt of Taylor's head. "Yes."
Dean walked over and touched Taylor's face. "I"ll get some cool rags."
Missouri patted Dean's arm. I'll get them.
Dean sighed. "Go look in Kate's room."
Missouri raised an eyebrow but followed Dean. She gasped. "Sam?"
Sam blinked. "Hi."
Missouri put her hand on her racing heart. "How?"
Dean shrugged. "She screamed 'I want Sam' and poof, he dropped in."
"She moved him?" Missouri asked, looking at the frail girl curled into Sam's arms.
"She moved him without putting a hand on him." Castiel said.
Dean rubbed his face. "Can you do that?"
Castiel shook his head. "No. I cannot."
Dean helped Missouri get a few things to help Taylor before he went back to Kate's room. "What now?"
Castiel stared at Kate. "We wait."
"Will she be sick for a few days?"
Castiel looked at Dean with concern. "As with radiation, there is no way to know. No one has survived."
Dean put his hand on Kate's leg. "They will though. You said they were more powerful. They'll be okay." When he looked back, Castiel was gone. He looked at Sam with tired eyes. "Welcome to the bunker."
Sam looked around. "You'll have to give me the tour." He had been ripped through several states, deposited on top of a strange car, been healed by an angel and was now holding the one responsible. "Why did she want me?"
"She loves you." Dean said.
"Well.. yeah but.. she always wants you." Sam said.
"I don't know. She was pretty set on it though." Dean said. His nerves were frayed and he felt helpless. The day had taken an awful turn and he was unsure if either kid would make it through. Taylor seemed much better off but Castiel didn't even know enough about them to know if they would survive.
Kate found herself in a dark room. She could hear water dripping and the ground was cool to her feet. The water got louder and she felt it gather her around her feet. The water rose quickly and swept her down, deeper into the room. She lost her breath as the water covered her head and pulled her down. She tried to swim away but hands held her under. She felt herself fading and then she was suddenly outside in the snow. She was wet and shoeless. She shivered as her toes went numb. "Dean!"
A large force ripped through the trees of the forest and approached the frozen girl. She cried out but couldn't move. Just as a dark shadow engulfed her, she rolled onto a carpeted floor. The room was warm and the fireplace was lit. She crawled toward the flames and curled up in front of the fire. She awoke to the flames spreading across the room, lapping at her legs. She screamed and jumped up to run away. A man held his hand out for her. 'Come with me.' Kate looked into his yellow eyes and recoiled. "Go away." The man grabbed her arm and pulled her to him. She fought him. "Sam!"
Sam found her and pulled her back from the demon. "Get your hands off of her."
Kate fell into Sam's arms and cried. "Sam."
"I've got you. We have to get out of here." Sam picked her up and ran from the burning house. He shifted her so that her legs were wrapped around him and her head was on his shoulder. "Where are we?"
Kate coughed and cried. "I don't know."
"Do you know what happened?" Sam asked.
Kate shook her head.
"You had an episode and Castiel gave you the extra grace. You are sick. He said it is like radiation. "You called me here."
"To my dream?" Kate sniffled.
"Yes but I'm at the bunker. I was sitting in the courtyard reading and then all of a sudden I'm here."
Kate started crying again.
"Calm down. The more upset you are, the more things change." Sam soothed.
Kate held onto him. "I'm scared. I don't feel good."
"I know. You've been burning up. Your body is changing rapidly. I'm here though. So is Dean." Sam said. "If you whip up some jellybeans we can find a spot to ride this out."
Kate looked at her empty hand as it filled with packs of jellybeans.
Sam kissed the side of her head. "Let's go to Bobby's pond." He saw the path in front of him change. He sat down on the boulder and found a blanket to wrap Kate in. "I need to let Dean know we are okay. Can you wait for just a few seconds?"
Kate nodded.
Sam gasped as he opened his eyes.
"Sammy?" Dean asked.
"She is locked in a dream sequence. That is why she wanted me. I have to go back. Don't worry unless I start turning colors." Sam said with a smirk.
Dean rolled his eyes. "Bitch."
"Jerk."
Sam put his arms back around Kate. "I want the orange ones."
Kate gave him one orange one. "Those are my favorite."
Sam winked. "Fine, I'll take the blue ones."
Kate sorted the beans in her hand and reached back to feed Sam the blue ones. "Am I going to be okay?"
Sam readjusted the blanket. "Of course. You'll probably be sick but you'll be just fine."
Kate sighed. "You don't know that."
"No, but you have to be okay because Dean gets bitchy when you aren't okay and I can only deal with bitchy Dean for so long." Sam said.
Kate handed him another jellybean. "Is he mad at me?"
"No, not at all. Why would he be mad at you?" Sam asked.
"He was going to take a few hours off and go into town."
Sam stopped her. "You come first. He is worried about you. Do you remember anything?"
Kate shook her head.
"He has a hero complex so you are just giving him the opportunity to play out that." Sam said.
Kate giggled.
"You gave him a busted lip and got his arm pretty good. He doesn't care. He will go back to Lacy and use that to tell the tale of how he saved your life and was injured in the process." Sam said with a smile.
Kate rested her head. "I hurt him?"
"He said your head was a cinderblock." Sam said.
Kate frowned. "I didn't mean to."
Sam rested his chin on her head. "Sorry, kid. That is something you got from dad's side of the family. The moment your head hits something, its going to do some damage. I'm pulling your leg. It really is okay. Dean just wants you to be okay. I have punched him in the face a few times and he forgave me."
Kate put a jellybean in Sam's mouth. "Apparently, Sam and Dean stories are cautionary tales that I'm not supposed to repeat."
Sam laughed. "Some of them."
Kate sighed.
"It is going to be okay. You just let us help you and focus on getting better."
"Where is Taylor?" Kate asked.
"He is sick too but nowhere near as bad. He is sleeping." Sam said.
Kate yawned. "I want to sleep."
Sam helped her wake up and opened his eyes.
Dean saw Kate's eyes flutter and sat beside her. "Katie?"
Kate winced. "Hi."
"How are you feeling?" Dean asked.
"I hurt." Kate said with a whimper.
Dean felt of her head. "You are still running a fever. I'm guessing Tylenol wouldn't work."
"I just want to sleep." Kate said.
Sam shifted her so she could lay down. "If you get stuck in a dream, just pull me back in. If you wake up and one of us isn't here just yell. No need to zap us in here."
Kate gasped. "Millie!"
Dean opened her door. "Right here. I made sure Cas pulled them out before he did his thing."
Kate hugged Dean. "Thank you!"
Millie took her place next to Kate and started purring.
Dean smoothed Kate's hair out of her face.
Sam waited until Kate fell asleep. "You saved the kittens?"
Dean blushed. "Well, he said that the blast would disintegrate any living thing within miles."
"She would have flayed you if you hadn't gotten them out." Sam said.
Dean smiled. "Yeah, I know. I'm going to get Liam for Taylor and then I'll show you around. I don't want to stray far from her."
Sam followed Dean, leaving Kate's door open so they could hear her. He was so disoriented when he arrived that he didn't realize how many rooms the place had. "So this place has a library and stuff?"
Dean scoffed. "Just wait." He opened Taylor's door and put Liam on the bed with Taylor. "I'm going to show Sam around. Do you need anything?"
Missouri sighed. "A cup of tea would be wonderful."
Dean winked. "Yes, Ma'am. I'll bring in a nicer chair too. Kate's door is open so one of us will hear her if she stirs."
Missouri put a warm hand on Dean's arm. "Thank you."
"This hallway is huge." Sam said as they walked toward the kitchen.
Dean gave him a look. "This is just one of the hallways."
Sam was impressed with the showers and laundry room. The weapons room was even more impressive. When they got to the library he felt blood rush to his head. "I thought you meant a small library. This place is a museum."
"I'm going to take tea to Missouri and sit with Kate. You can keep looking around. The garage is down that hallway." Dean said and pointed.
Sam ran his fingers along books. "Yeah."
Dean was glad to have Sam there. He just wished it hadn't happened because Kate was sick. However, the way that she had gotten him there was pretty cool. He did worry about her strength and what would happen if she lost control again. He thought about moving the kids into the same room so he could monitor them both but wasn't sure if proximity would amplify the powers. He'd have to ask Cas. Cas... where did he go?
Sam removed a book from the shelf and carefully opened it. It was old and the spine crinkled as he opened it. The wealth of knowledge in that one room was immense and thrilling. The armory was stocked with all kinds of weapons and the garage had dozens of cars. He wondered if any of them ran. Being able to drive would make visits more possible. Well, having Kate zap him around made visits doable but the force that he had entered the garage with hadn't felt good.
Dean called Bobby.
Bobby answered the phone and could tell that Dean's mind was heavy right off the bat. "What is wrong?"
Dean put his head in his hand. "They used the grace. They are sick. Kate teleported Sam from Stanford to the garage of the bunker."
Bobby got up and paced the room. "She did what?"
"She was hysterical, running a high fever and screamed that she wanted Sam. He landed on top of one of the cars." Dean said.
"Is he okay?"
"Yeah, Cas healed him. He had the wind knocked out of him." Dean said.
"Son, are you okay?" Bobby asked.
Dean's voice cracked. "What if they aren't okay?"
Bobby started packing his bag. "They will be. why wouldn't they be?"
"The reason that there are no Nephilian is that none have survived the first few levels of infusion. They took on Aphrim's and then Isaiah's. Kate keeps falling into a dream state where she bounces around and can't tether to one place. Taylor is better off right now but who knows. Bobby, I can't do this. I can't watch them suffer." Dean said.
"I'm getting my stuff together. I'll get there as soon as possible. You don't have to do this alone." Bobby said.
Dean felt very tired and worn. "Maybe Cas can help you get here."
"Cas?"
Dean sighed. "The angel."
Bobby shook his head. "I can drive."
"This place only has showers. Kate is burning up. I sat with her on the floor but I don't know how else to help. I don't think normal medication is going to help." Dean said.
Bobby had an idea. "You let me worry about that."
Dean felt his stomach rumble. He'd be no good to the kids if he didn't take care of himself. He checked to make sure Kate was good before going to the kitchen. He found a glass baking dish full of something Marie had labeled as crack. He shrugged and put it into the oven and set the timer to the time that was written on the foil. He made more coffee and poured a glass of whiskey for himself. He checked on Taylor again and then returned to his place beside Kate. When she woke up, would she still be Kate? Could someone deal with that amount of power and still retain their personality? Would she still need hugs and giggle at his horrible jokes? Somehow, she looked smaller than she normally did. Her cheeks were flushed and her hairline was wet from sweat. Millie didn't seem to mind the heat radiating from Kate but Dean got her a small ice pack anyway. He saw the cat tree in the corner of the room, still half built. He sighed and decided to finish putting it together. He'd turn an entire room into cat paradise if it made the kids happy. He messaged Bobby to ask him to bring some old shelves and a drill that could handle the brick walls.
Sam stepped into the room. "What are you doing?"
Dean held the Allen wrench between his teeth as he put a platform on one of the poles. "What does it look like?"
Sam smiled. "Have they turned you into a cat lady?"
Dean shot him a glare. "She was working on it before things happened."
"Relax. I'd do the same thing. What are you cooking?"
Dean tilted his head. "Crack."
"Thought you were more of a whiskey man." Sam said.
Dean threw a screwdriver at Sam. "You're a pain in the ass." He heard the timer beep. "Go get it out of the oven. Bring me a plate and ask Missouri if she wants some."
Sam followed the smell. He pulled the dish from the oven and licked his lips. He removed the foil from the top and stuck a fork into the corner to taste it. He chewed slowly and swallowed. He knew why it was called crack. He put some in a bowl and took it to Dean. "Dude, taste it."
Dean took a bite after he cooled it. He closed his eyes and nodded his head. "Marie has ruined me. All other food just doesn't taste the same."
Sam left and asked Missouri if she wanted a bite to eat. He filled his own bowl and returned with hers. "It is really good. Do you want to take a break? I can sit with Taylor."
Missouri took her bowl. "I could stretch my legs."
Sam sat down on Taylor's bed and rested his back against the footboard. He wondered if Taylor was having the same issues with visions. He finished his food and then shifted so he was sitting by Taylor's head.
Taylor felt the ground shake and was startled to see Sam.
"Just checking in. You've been out for a while." Sam said.
Taylor blinked.
"Dean told me about the grace and stuff. Kate was stuck in a dream state so I'm just making sure you aren't lost in here." Sam said.
Taylor continued to stare at him.
"Can you see me?"
Taylor nodded. "Are you the real Sam?"
Sam frowned. "Yeah, have fake Sam's been running around?"
Taylor shook his head. "I've just been here. I can't hurt anyone here."
"Do you feel like hurting someone?" Sam asked.
Taylor hung his head. "I can feel the power in me. I'm afraid I will accidentally hurt someone. Especially if I'm angry."
Sam put his arm around Taylor's shoulders. "Did you lock yourself in here?"
Taylor nodded.
"Talk to me. Show me some stuff. Dream walking can help." Sam said.
"I'm afraid that I will hurt David or something. What if I get frustrated and lash out?" Taylor said.
Sam smirked. "Want me to call my dad?"
Taylor turned red. "No!"
"Dean's in the other room." Sam added.
Taylor swallowed.
"You are safe here. If you get too amped up I'll let you know. If you get out of hand I'm sure the angel can cool you down." Sam said.
Taylor sighed and relaxed. "I'm only doing this because you are telling me to. If anything happens you have to cover for me."
Sam smiled. "Always."
Taylor walked with Sam. "I'm not good at dream walking."
"That is okay. Is there anywhere you want to go?"
"Can I go to my nana's. I healed my grandpa and they seemed happy." Taylor said.
"Yep, let's go." Sam said.
Taylor focused on Marie's house and was pleased to see the farmland and the small house nestled between the trees. "Kate and I got a boost and she talked me into healing my grandpa. My nana was going to call hospice."
"So you did a great thing." Sam said. "Tell me about your grandpa."
"He worked offshore for a long time. Then, he settled down here and did construction and repairs. He is really funny and would spend time with me when I visited. He would let me ride on the four-wheeler and ride the horses with him." He heard faint music and opened the door of the house. He smiled and felt a tear on his cheek. "They always danced like this before he got sick."
Sam watched the couple sway to the music. "Now they can dance again."
"What if it doesn't last?" Taylor asked.
"Even if you only helped him for an hour, that is okay. You gave them more time together." Sam said.
"My abilities are generally destructive," Taylor said.
"They can be. So can some of Kate's. You just have to control them."
"I don't want to hurt anyone." Taylor said.
"I know. You are a good person. You locked yourself here as a precaution. A bad person wouldn't do that." Sam said.
"I want to see my mom." Taylor said.
Sam sighed. "I don't think that is a good idea."
"I want to know if she really tried to kill me."
Sam felt heat rising. "Taylor, no. Not right now. Maybe after things cool down."
Taylor went back out to the porch and sat down. "What did I do wrong?"
"You didn't do anything wrong. There are bad people in the world that hurt innocent people." Sam said. "Maybe you should wake up. Dean made crack."
"Cocaine?"
Sam grinned. "That was my joke too. No. It is one of the dishes Marie made."
"What if I can't control myself?"
"We will cross that bridge when we get there." Sam said.
Taylor opened his eyes and was shocked to see Sam beside him.
"I told you I was here." Sam said.
"Yeah but... but..."
"Kate poofed me here." Sam reminded him. "Give me a minute and I'll be right back."
Taylor was groggy and cold. He was watching the door for Sam but Dean showed up.
"You're awake." Dean said.
Taylor blinked. "I think so. Did Kate really move Sam?"
Dean nodded. "She did. How are you feeling?"
"I think the lining of my cells is being scraped away by elves." Taylor said.
Dean grimaced. "I'm going to ask Cas if there is anything that will help the pain." He felt of Taylor's head. "You are burning up."
"I'm okay for now. Sam is getting some food for me."
"I'm glad you have an appetite. I don't know what to expect from what happened. Castiel said it was like radiation poisoning." Dean said.
Taylor scrunched his face. "So either I wind up a superhero or growing an extra hand on my face."
Dean smiled. "That's the spirit."
Sam handed Taylor a bowl. "Taylor put himself in mind time out."
Dean tilted his head.
Taylor swallowed a bite. "When I first felt the grace hit me, I felt like I was going to explode. I could feel my body expanding. I was afraid I would hurt someone so I went to an empty place where I couldn't hurt anyone."
Dean patted his knee. "That was a good idea I suppose. I'm glad you are back out here with us though."
"If I wind up exploding, it is Sam's fault and you can dish out consequences accordingly." Taylor said with a mouthful.
Dean smirked and raised an eyebrow at Sam.
"I helped him dream walk a little. He was just standing there. I thought it would help. He was afraid that he would lose control." Sam said with a chuckle.
"So, if he dream throws anyone across a room, it will be your ass I'm kicking?" Dean asked.
Taylor smiled. "Yep!"
"That is Kate level thinking." Dean said.
"How is she?" Taylor asked.
"She is sleeping. She looks rough and is sweating from how hot she is." Dean said.
"Maybe I could help her."
Dean shook his head. "Wait. I don't want to risk anything."
Taylor felt movement to his side. He gave Liam a little bit of chicken. "He's okay."
Sam grinned. "Dean made a special request to get the kittens out of the way and then I found him building a cat tree." He grunted when Dean's foot met the back of his leg.
"That is really nice of you." Taylor said.
Dean rolled his eyes. "I know, and this asshat keeps making fun of me for it."
Sam scoffed. "I'm taking over your usual position."
"What is that?" Dean asked.
"Comedic relief in the form of smart-ass comments."
Missouri chuckled from the doorway.
Dean shot her a look. "She said I talk in quips and movie quotes."
Sam grinned. "You do."
Dean's phone chimed. "This is dad." He took a deep breath and answered the phone. "Hello."
"Dean!" John shouted in relief.
"I'm sorry. I was going to call but things have been crazy." Dean said.
"What happened? The news is going crazy." John said.
Dean blinked. "What?"
"An EMP went off near you that took out the electrical grid." John said.
Dean groaned. "That wasn't an EMP. Wait, why does my phone work?"
"You were shielded." Castiel said.
Dean jumped. "Personal space!"
John whistled. "Focus, son."
"Hi, dad." Sam said.
John rubbed his face. "Report!"
Dean cleared his throat. "Kate teleported. Cas pulled her back. He had to give them the final vial of grace. It created the blast wave. Now the kids are sick. Kate is worse off. She pulled Sam here. Taylor is awake but in pain. Kate is asleep for now."
John felt his head spin. "The blast wave?"
"The grace."
"Sam is there?" John asked.
"Yes. She was flailing and freaking out. She screamed that she wanted him here and he fell out of the sky." Dean said.
John braced himself against the truck. "I just talked to her this morning."
"A lot has happened since then and I don't really know what is going on. I'm winging it, dad." Dean said.
Castiel spoke up. "I can retrieve him."
"Dad, how would you feel about Cas picking you up?"
John stammered. "What do you mean. Holy God." He was startled as Castiel appeared right beside him.
"I can take you to them." Castiel said.
John regained his wits. "Let me move this first." He parked his truck and grabbed his duffle. He blinked and felt his feet hit the concrete floor. He ran down the hallway and into Taylor's room.
"Dad." Dean said and let out a breath.
John rushed over and hugged Dean before turning to Sam to do the same. He sat down beside Taylor and felt of his head. "How are you feeling?"
Taylor groaned. "I have so many colorful ways to explain but I'll just say not good."
John glanced at Castiel. "Is there anything you can do for him?"
"I can ease the pain, briefly but will not be able to stop the process."
Taylor accepted the help.
Sam smelled smoke and ran out of the room, toward Kate. "Fire!"
Castiel grabbed Kate and vanished.
They used blankets to beat the fire out.
Dean saw Millie's small body, still on the charred bed. He felt faint.
"Oh no." Missouri said.
Dean slowly approached and steeled himself. He touched her and she didn't move. He swore and stepped back before sucking in a breath of air. "Thank god." He exclaimed as Millie moved and stretched. "How did she.." He reached for her to wipe the soot off of her but froze.
Millie's eyes opened and flashed a brilliant blue for the smallest moment.
Dean looked at the others. "Did you see that?"
John nodded slowly.
Dean picked Millie up and held her up to his face. "What are you?"
