Taylor left Kate with April and went for a walk around the bunker with Andy. Andy was bored and bored caused trouble. "You know what this place needs?"

Andy looked up at Taylor. "What?"

"A rock wall." Taylor said.

Andy gasped. "That would be so awesome."

"All we need is the colorful rock grips. I bet the blank wall in the gym would make a great rock wall."

"There is so much space. You could make anything." Andy said.

"The people who lived here before us were much older. They were from the 1950s. I don't think they knew about many fun things." Taylor said. He ran his fingers along the brick walls. They weren't supposed to stay but the bunker was feeling more and more like a forever home.

Kate swallowed some tea. "It is better if you chug it. It is bitter."

April pulled a face. "Good to know."

"I think you can make it a lot better but Taylor added a lot so it would work faster."

April put Ian in her lap and rocked him. "Andy can compel people." It wasn't a question. It was a statement.

"Missouri is a psychic. Andy is a bit like her. Some people are born with gifts and others get them when they are older. I am still learning as I go." Kate said.

"How did you know?"

"What do you mean?"

April watched Ian wrap his hand around her finger. "How did you know he could move things?"

"Being raised by hunters means getting trained by them. You have to be able to piece things together. I looked at it like a hunt. He isn't tall enough to open that chain so I was trying to figure out how he had gotten it open."

"You have... gifts... too?" April asked, uneasily.

"A few. It is a long story. We are on a supernatural lockdown right now so I'm not supposed to use them." Kate said. She chewed her lip. "This isn't my place but Dean has a lot on his plate and I just want to clear something up."

April wrapped Ian in a blanket. "Yes?"

"He... uh... when Andy was in the armory.." Kate didn't know what to say.

"He got angry about it. I don't blame him or disagree. I just didn't know." April said.

"No, I know. Oh, boy. Dean was raised a specific way and Taylor and I were too and the whole hunter thing makes things more complicated than they are in the civilian world." Kate prattled on.

April patted Ian's back and laid him down on the bed. His eyes were heavy and he was due a nap. "I know things have to be much more complicated."

"Not just complicated... they are more... dire. If a normal kid runs off and doesn't listen, they may run into a bad person or get lost. If a kid is with a hunter and runs off, they could get eaten by a vampire or possessed. Admittedly, I'm not the poster child for obedience but it has been impressed upon me. Dean can come across as harsh at times. His dad is super strict and he grew up taking care of his brother, Sam. The whole thing is kind of like the military. He isn't as hard on us but a lot of times it is life or death." Kate said.

"That is understandable." April said.

Kate got a flash of images and held her head as the pain rushed through her body.

"Kate, are you okay?" April asked.

"I'll be back." She ran to Taylor. "Did you see it?"

Taylor nodded. "Okay, Andy. I need you to hang out with your mom and brother for a little bit. You are going to protect them so don't let anyone in that door without the knock I showed you."

Andy gave Taylor a thumbs up. "Protect my mom, got it."

"April, we are going to check on something. Just stay in here for a bit." Kate said. She met Taylor in the library and was startled when the door swung open.

Dean ran down the steps. "Paint, we need to double up on angel security."

"Angels? They are here?" Kate asked.

"They were falling from the damn sky." Dean said. He looked around. "Damn it Cas, get in here."

Castiel appeared. He touched Kate's head. "Those sigils should go in all four corners."

Kate wasn't sure how she was going to draw sigils in four corners of a massive underground base. "Uh, where?"

"Four distant places." Castiel said.

"What can I do?" Taylor asked.

Castiel slid his blade from his sleeve. "This is an angel blade. You can kill an angel with this."

Dean held his hand out for it. "How many do you have?"

"Just that one."

"Fan-fucking-tastic." Dean said.

"I am going to ward them off. Use a banishing sigil once I am gone." Castiel said.

"They'll just come back." Dean said.

Castiel vanished and then reappeared.

"What do they want?" Dean asked.

"The kids." Castiel said.

Dean scoffed. "Well, that isn't going to happen. What is the plan here?"

"They do not know exactly where they are. It is much like dropping a marble in a cluttered room." Cas explained.

"Do you think they will find the door and try to get in?" Taylor asked.

"That is what they will try to do. That is why Kate is drawing sigils." Castiel said.

"So, silly question here. You know how some armies would use flaming arrows to burn down a village. Would that work on angels?" Taylor asked.

"No, an angel is not bothered by fire." Cas said.

"With holy oil on fire." Taylor said.

Castiel considered it. "Yes."

Kate returned. "Now what?"

"Naomi is organized. She has her plan of attack well thought out." Castiel said.

"So we outsmart her." Dean said.

"They are expecting a fight. Angels are warriors."

Kate thought back to the images she had been given. "They are pretty useless without grace.. right?"

"Yes."

"So would a soul spell work for grace?" Kate asked.

"No spells." Dean warned.

"It was a valid question." Kate whined.

"Cas and I will manage. You two need to stay inside." Dean said.

Kate put her hands on the table and glared at him in an imitation of himself. "I know things you don't."

Dean pulled a face. "Oh do you?"

Castiel tilted his head. He heard Kate's voice in his head and nodded.

"Before you got back, Taylor and I both were given images. It is like a vision but things happen so fast that it comes across as images. The only way for us to get the upper hand is for us to work together. Naomi expects you to make us stay inside and probably expects that we will disregard that and try to save you." Kate said.

"Your safety is important." Dean said.

"Yours is too. I can take a harder hit and heal from it. Taylor can too. We are assets that you would be foolish not to utilize." Kate countered.

Dean rolled his eyes. "You are no longer allowed to talk to Sam anymore."

Kate didn't want to tell him exactly what she saw. It was too horrible and she wasn't going to allow it to happen. Her future self could go back and change things which meant her actions in present time could change things as well. "I can pin Naomi."

"What do you mean?"

Kate looked at Cas and shrugged. "I can grab their wings like bird wings."

Dean furrowed his eyebrows.

Cas sighed and stepped away from the table. A set of black wings appeared behind him and touched both sides of the library. He promptly retracted them and nodded. "An angel's wings are not visible unless they want them to be. She can pin them which is... painful."

"How do you know that?" Dean asked and squinted his eyes at Kate.

"Long story that I will totally tell you when we aren't being dive bombed by douche bags with wings."

Dean snorted. That description was one that he would have come up with. "So we have one blade and a possible quiver of angel-killing arrows?"

"Angel harming. Not necessarily killing." Taylor said.

"The downside to that idea is that Taylor and I cannot breathe in smoke from holy fire." Kate said.

"So we are back to one blade."

"If Naomi is taken down, will the others continue trying to get us?" Kate asked.

"They are following orders. They should retreat without Naomi's assistance. They will likely regroup though." Castiel answered.

### ###

Dean crouched behind a tree and watched Castiel.

"Brothers, I mean you no harm. Show yourselves." Castiel said to the trees. He lowered his arms as three angels walked from the shadows. "Andriel, what is your purpose here?"

"We are to collect the children." Andriel said.

"Why?"

"That is our orders." Andriel said.

That was a decent sign to Dean that they may tuck tail if Naomi isn't pulling the strings anymore.

"Who gave you the orders?" Castiel asked.

Naomi walked to Andriel's side. "Our orders are from God."

"God would not do harm to children." Castiel argued.

"They are not children. They are abominations that must be eradicated before they destroy the earth." Naomi spat.

Dean checked his watch.

"Leave. You are not taking them." Cas said.

Naomi looked at two of her subordinates. "Restrain him."

Castiel drew his blade. "I do not want bloodshed." He dodged one of their blades and fought to prevent them from restraining him.

Dean heard Cas grunt and winced. He rolled from behind the tree and distracted one of them long enough for Castiel to sink his blade into him. He was thrown back against a tree and hissed.

Naomi was pleased that Dean showed up. He was an excellent bargaining chip. "You brought this... ape... along?"

Dean got onto his feet. "That's a little offensive."

Naomi flicked her hand and sent him flying again.

Dean checked his watch again. He heard a whistling sound and ducked.

One of the angels at Castiel's side fell to the ground and fought the flames growing across his abdomen. Another fell and then another.

Naomi looked at Dean. He looked angry and confused. Excellent.

Dean pushed himself into a crouching position.

Castiel stabbed two of the angels that were on fire to put them out of their misery as much as prevent them from overtaking the bunker. "Naomi, leave."

The forest was quiet as the flames died. A bird flew through the trees and a small animal rustled the leaves.

"I do not want to harm anyone else. We fought together. You must leave."

Naomi turned her head toward a twig that snapped. "And who might our company be?"

Dean's jaw twitched. "One of your goons."

Naomi flicked her hand. "No." She smiled smugly. "One of your abominations I suppose."

Kate approached the scene.

Naomi looked behind Dean and felt a twinge of excitement.

Dean slowly turned his head, glaring at Kate. He gave her a subtle wink and cleared his throat. "Run."

Kate shook her head. "I can't let them hurt you."

"You were told to stay inside." Dean growled.

"Then she'd miss all this fun." Naomi said. "You've decided to come with me?"

Kate rolled her eyes. "Man, I knew you had a punchable face but it is so much worse in person."

Naomi narrowed her eyes.

"I'm sorry, Dean. She is after me and I can't let her hurt you." Kate said in a sad voice.

Naomi flicked an arrow away as it sailed toward her. "Your little trick won't work a second time. That must mean Taylor is somewhere out there." She flicked her eyes at two of the remaining angels. "Bring him."

Kate held her hand up. "Hmm, no, I wouldn't do that."

Naomi looked at her soldiers. "Go!"

Kate let go of them and acted worried. "You can't."

There was a scuffle in the trees leading to Taylor being lead back to the group.

"Now, we can just be on our way."

A bright light flooded the area and banished the angels.

Dean wrapped his cut hand in a strip of cloth and walked to Kate.

Naomi hissed in pain.

"Well, that worked." Dean said. "I thought for sure she'd go when the rest did."

Taylor removed the mask from his face and touched Kate.

Naomi looked between them.

"Oh, you thought I didn't know that they were out here." Dean said with a chuckle.

Taylor shoved his lighter in his pocket and repositioned his bow. "You expected to use Dean as bait and Kate to disregard orders and go rogue. So, we aimed for unexpected... like the Spanish Inquisition."

Dean snorted. "Is that a Monty Python reference?"

"A what reference." Kate asked.

"Shh, later." Dean said.

Castiel stalked from the bunker and approached Naomi. He held his blade out. "You were warned."

Kate twisted her hand bringing Naomi to her knees. "Without grace she is pretty useless... right?"

Cas nodded. He made a small insition in Naomi's neck and captured her grace in a vial. He healed her and nodded at Kate.

Kate released Naomi's wings. "Are you still good on the questioning thing?"

Castiel confirmed that he was and vanished with Naomi.

Kate shook her hand out.

Taylor coughed. "A little smoke got through the mask."

"It is old. We should get new ones." Dean said and looked around at the 'fallen angles'. "Taylor, you wouldn't want to dig some holes would you?"

Taylor smiled. "Give me a few minuets."

Dean cleared his throat and snapped his fingers. "A Monty Python reference... really?"

"It sounded good in my head." Taylor said.

Kate giggled. "It isn't like the movies."

Taylor shrugged. "I wouldn't know. I don't get out often." He looked for a good area to upset the earth. "Besides, Dean speaks in movie quotes and quips. Missouri said so."

Dean scoffed. "Kate, head back in and make sure Andy hasn't abandoned ship."

"Thanks for saving me, Kate. Your idea actually worked, Kate."

Dean tilted her chin up. "Thank you. Happy?"

Kate pulled her face away from him. "I'm going to go gloat." She walked back inside and knocked on April's door. "Hey, coast is clear."

Andy rolled off his bed and darted by Kate.

"Andy."

He stopped running but his feet kept sliding. He finally stopped and turned. "Come on!"

"Let me know if you need anything." Kate said to April.

April let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. Andy had talked the entire time and she was afraid that he would compel her and escape.

Kate followed Andy. "Where are you going?"

Andy shrugged. "I don't know."

Kate took his hand. "Let's go to the kitchen then. I bet everybody is hungry."

"Can I pick what we have?"

"Sure thing." Kate said.

"Remind me why I didn't drag you along to the salt and burns." Dean said.

"I was thrown in the dungeon awaiting Naomi's demise."

"Don't let this win get you cocky. It was a little too easy." Dean said. He helped Taylor move another body into the hole.

"I'm just glad I got to help without going behind your back." Taylor said.

"One day you will have a lot more freedom." Dean said.

"I know." He thought about his future self running through time, changing details.

Dean held the door for Taylor. He was sweaty and covered in dirt. He walked by April.

"Whoa. You look like you rolled in the mud." April said.

Dean looked down at his jeans. "Ah it isn't that bad."

April smiled and pulled a leaf from his hair. "Excellent camo."

"I'm headed to shower. Is Andy with Kate?"

"Yep, Ian is napping." April said.

"I'm going to shower and then we can have a meal and talk through some of this other stuff."

April smiled again. "Okay." She stepped to the side so that Dean could continue on to the bathroom. She put the leaf on her dresser and rolled a blanket up beside Ian to prevent him from rolling off the bed.

Kate put a chair next to the stove and placed a pot on the back burner. "Does your mom let you cook?"

"Um, not with the stove." Andy said.

"You have to be careful because you can get burned." Kate said. She hovered her hand to gauge the heat. She walked him through the basics of boiling water and put her hand on his to show him how to stir without splashing. She felt a strange tingle and moved his hand back. "Now we wait."

Andy jumped from the chair and sat at the table. "How long?"

"I'll set this timer for 10 minutes." Kate said. She twisted the dial and set the timer on the table. She looked at her hand and tried to understand what she had felt. She had gotten the same sensation with Andy before but couldn't comprehend what the purpose was.

Taylor heard Kate's voice in his head and spoke back to her. 'Yeah, he tingles.' He lathered his hair and rinsed it under the hot water. "I need more soap." Taylor said.

Dean threw the bottle of soap over the stalls and chuckled when Taylor yelped.

"I didn't mean right now." Taylor grumbled. He finished his shower and dressed in clean clothes. He turned the light off on his way out.

"Hey!" Dean yelled.

Taylor laughed and shut the door.

Kate kept a close eye on Andy. She didn't want to be on the hook for letting him wander. She said a quick prayer to Castiel and asked Andy to help set the table.

April flipped through a book for a little while but set it down when Ian stirred. She wished that she had his crib so she could leave the room. Well, the bunker was far too big to really do much and still be able to hear the baby.

Taylor helped Kate finish up dinner. He studied Andy for an answer but couldn't find one.

Dean read the message that popped up on his phone. 'Door.' He pulled a dry shirt over his head and padded into the garage. He pulled the heavy doors open and stood back while John drove in. "I thought you were avoiding us."

John turned the truck off. "I said I'd be back and I am. Unload this stuff."

"Kate has food almost done. I can get the kitchen stuff and come back later for the rest." Dean said. He loaded his arms with drink boxes and carried them into the kitchen.

"John?" Kate asked.

"Yeah, he just got here. Taylor, do you mind helping?" Dean asked.

Kate pinched the bridge of her nose. How much time had gone by? Had John updated? What happened between Naomi and John? She may have just zoned out while decompressing from the attack.

"I can help!" Andy yelled and took off after Dean.

Dean put a hand on his head. "Stick with Taylor."

Andy stopped long enough to match steps with Taylor and smiled.

John slung his duffle over his shoulder and looked up as the boys walked into the garage. He caught sight of Andy and furrowed his brows. He knew that there were kids in the bunker but it was still unsettling. He did remind him of Sam.

Andy saw John and hid behind Taylor's leg.

Taylor nudged him. "It is okay. That is Dean's dad."

Andy offered John a small wave.

John nodded in his direction and went to his room to put his stuff away.

"He isn't big on talking." Taylor said.

Dean found a bag that was light enough for Andy. "Can you carry this?"

Andy looked offended. "I am strong."

"Right, then would you please take that to the kitchen?"

Andy lifted the bag and followed right behind Taylor. He saw John's door cracked and paused momentarily. He blinked and then realized Taylor had continued walking.

Dean cracked open a beer and sat down at the table. He stabbed a potato with his fork and bit into it. "Have you spoken to Marie?"

Taylor shook his head. How long had it been since he spoke to her? "I will call her tonight."

Andy knelt on the bench seat and sipped his glass of milk. He was quiet because John was in the kitchen.

Ian was all smiles and giggles. He grabbed a steamed carrot from April's plate and happily ate it.

"He eats better than you do." Kate said.

Dean lightly smacked the back of her head. "Hush."

Kate, Dean and Taylor carried most of the conversation as the other parties were unsure of each other. "Taylor made a lame joke."

"It wasn't lame." Taylor countered.

"You'll have to watch the movie." Dean said.

Kate shrugged. "You need a better catchphrase."

Taylor pulled a face and stole one of her potatoes.

Kate wanted to ask John about Jo's tips but couldn't in front of April.

Castiel landed in the library and walked swiftly to the kitchen. Everyone turned around and looked at him which caused him to freeze. He snapped his fingers and froze everyone but Kate and Taylor. "I need to speak to you."

Kate left the table. "What is wrong?"

Castiel looked over her. "That."

Andy touched April's arm. "Mama."

Castiel touched Andy's head and erased a few moments of memory. He went back to how he came in.

"Cas?" Kate asked.

"I'd like to speak to Katelyn and Taylor." Castiel said.

They moved before anyone could say anything.

"What is that about?" John asked.

Dean shrugged.

"What is going on?" Kate asked.

"Naomi knew something about the boy." Cas said.

Dean snapped his fingers when Andy went to stand up. "Sit. They'll be back." He was mindful of the kid's ability to compel.

Andy frowned but sat down.

"He is like Sam." Kate said.

"Have you felt anything?" Cas asked.

"Tingles." Kate said and Taylor nodded in agreement.

"Azazel altered Sam and you, Kate, by feeding you blood. Vampires do the same to turn people. Andy received a much bigger dose." Cas said.

Kate swallowed. "So what does that mean?"

"He isn't the antichrist." Cas said.

Kate scoffed. "Of course not."

"The antichrist will arise from the coupling of a human and a demon. He would have immeasurable power and be visible from heaven. The process is much like creating a Nephilim." He explained.

Taylor was catching on. "So we were created by dosing us with grace so that we didn't become full Nephilim. Was he..."

"Not to your level but it is essential that the demonic influence is removed from the child."

"How?" Kate asked.

"I don't know. Naomi didn't know. I am trying to track down the older Kate." Castiel said. "I must return to Naomi."

Kate flailed her arms. "He leaves at the worst times!"

"Shhhh." Taylor said. "He returned to tell us that Naomi is contained."

Kate nodded and rejoined the others. She gave Dean an uneasy smile.

"Did Bobby say anything about school?" Taylor asked.

John swallowed a piece of meat. "You are in between schools at the moment."

"I forgot all about school." April said.

"What grade are you in?" Kate asked.

Andy held up one finger.

"That is a fun year. You'll get caught up in no time." Kate said.

"Cody is in my class." Andy said.

"Who is Cody?"

Andy's face turned red. "Uh, a friend."

April didn't know if they'd be able to go back to their house. She had been coasting for a while and reality was setting in.

Taylor washed dishes and set them out to dry.

Kate put what little leftovers there were back into containers. Castiel's words were heavy on her mind. How could she possibly cure Andy?

Dean spoke to John about the angel attack and what John had been doing. "They were great out there."

"That is good." John said. "So Castiel has the leader somewhere?"

"Yes. He is going to get information from her." Dean said. He helped John finish unloading the truck. "How long are you staying?"

"I don't know. I just got here." John said.

Dean sighed. John was tired and grumpy.. so he was John.

Kate felt chills run up her back and looked at Taylor. "What was that?"

Taylor pulled his knife from his pocket but kept it at his side. He crept to the edge of the kitchen and then down the hallway. The light flickered over his head and he motioned for Kate to stay low.

Kate pushed into John's head before tapping Taylor to let him know to wait.

John held his head. "Something is wrong."

Dean kept pace with him and pulled his gun from his pants. "What?" He saw Kate with a finger to her mouth and stopped.

John held his hand up to signal for them to remain still. He quietly approached and got in front of them.

Kate shrugged to let him know that they didn't know what was causing the eerie feeling.

John looked around the corner and flicked his hand at Dean.

Dean slid around John and then stopped. He stood upright and crossed the room quickly.

Andy was sitting on the floor with a book on his lap.

Dean grabbed the book from him. "You shouldn't be in here."

Kate and Taylor entered the room up realizing it was Andy.

Why did they pick up a feeling like that? Kate got closer to Dean. She pulled the book from his hand and put her palm on the cover. She could feel the negative energy seeping through the pages.

Taylor didn't need to touch it to feel it. "What is that?"

Kate ran her finger over the title.

John crossed his arms and leaned against the doorway.

Dean picked Andy up and sat him on the table. "What are you doing?"

"Reading books." Andy said.

"You cannot go anywhere without an adult or Kate or Taylor." Dean ground out.

"Mama said it was okay." Andy said.

Dean narrowed his eyes.

Kate stepped forward. "Andy, where did you see this?"

"On a shelf." Andy said.

"It is very important and I just want to know where exactly it came from." Kate said.

"It fell off." Andy said.

Dean tilted his chin up. "Taylor, go find his mom."

Kate turned her back to them and walked to John. "Do you feel anything on this?"

John touched the book. "No."

Kate opened it and promptly shut it. She spun and carried the book back to Andy. "Do you know what this is?"

Andy shook his head.

"Why did you come into the library?" She pushed into his head.

Andy saw the look on Dean's face and was very worried he'd get another swat. "I wanted to read."

"These aren't kid books. You can't even read this language." Kate said.

Andy touched Dean's hand and looked into his eyes.

"Do not try to compel me, kid." Dean said.

Andy blinked and slid back on the table.

Kate nudged Dean. "Come over here."

Dean kept an eye on Andy but walked with Kate. "What kind of book is that?"

"Not one that I have seen before. You know that dark magic book I got caught with?" Kate asked.

"Yeah?"

"This one makes that one look like a kids story. I'm afraid to read any of this in case I accidentally bring something out. I caught of glimpse of something and it scared me." Kate said.

Dean glanced back at the table. "You aren't supposed to be in here."

Andy didn't like being scolded. "It's okay."

Dean touched the side of his head. "Did you just try to compel me?"

Andy's eyes grew wide. "No."
