Trigger warning/content warning. Dark chapter.

Gordon called in two more hunters. He knew there was going to be a fight with the Winchesters as well as with the monsters.

Marie heard the dogs barking and looked out the front door. She saw a truck outside and opened the door.

David was waiting right beside the door. He smirked. "Long time no see."

Marie tried to shut the door but David grabbed her. He shoved her into the house and motioned for Gordon to follow.

Gordon shut the door. "No need to be alarmed. We just need to borrow you for a little bit."

Marie instantly worried about Krissy but she couldn't say anything due to David's hand on her mouth.

Krissy heard voices and skipped into the living room. "Ms. Marie I want to color." Her eyes widened and she screamed.

Gordon caught her. "Who is this?"

Krissy kicked him hard in the shin. "Let me go!"

Gordon grunted and picked her up so she was tucked against his hip.

"Let me go or my dad will shoot you!" Krissy screamed.

Gordon lowered her to the ground. "Who is your dad?"

Krissy bit his hand. "Lee Chambers so get your hand off of me!"

Gordon let her go. "Your daddy is a hunter?"

Krissy wrapped her arms around Marie's leg. She nodded and glared at Gordon.

"Why is she here?" Gordon asked.

David moved his hand.

"We used to foster kids. Lee had some trouble with the law and Krissy is just staying here until he is released." Marie said.

"I have no problem with Lee." Gordon said so that David would know that Krissy should remain untouched.

Rod entered the house with a gun to his head and another hunter's hand on his back. He gave Marie a look and met eyes with David.

"Old man you are looking pretty good." David said.

Rod didn't say anything.

"Tie them up. I'm going to make a phone call." David said.

Krissy ran when Gordon grabbed Marie. She slid under a bed and tried to keep her breathing quiet.

"Search the place." David said.

The other hunter looked through rooms to make sure that there was no one else there. He heard sniffles and looked under a bed.

Krissy saw his face and kicked him as hard as she could with her heel.

The man fell back and yelled. He held his nose and staggered into the hallway. "The little bitch kicked me."

Gordon nodded. "Lee Chamber's kid. Just leave her alone."

The man got a towel and held pressure on his nose. He was sure it was broken. "What is his kid doing here?"

Gordon waved him off.

David used Marie's phone to call Taylor. He smirked when he answered. "Guess again little brother."

Dean saw a dark shadow cross Taylor's face and approached him.

"Where is she?" Taylor ground out.

David laughed. "Right here. She just can't talk right now."

Taylor gripped the table. "Leave them alone. They have nothing to do with anything."

John got closer as well.

Taylor heard Marie whimper and gripped the table harder. "David if you hurt her I will shatter every bone in your body."

David gave Gordon a thumbs up. "You know where I am. Stop being a wimp and come meet me."

Taylor dropped the phone when David hung up. He could hear ringing in his ears and pressure in his chest.

"Get Karen out of here." John told Bobby.

Kate pushed her way beside Dean. "Everyone get out."

Dean tried to pull her back. "Kate, he is going to blow up."

Kate gave him a sad smile. "I know. Just trust me." She grabbed Taylor's hand and they were suddenly gone.

John put his hands on his head. "Son of a bitch!" He started pacing.

Dean got in front of him. "I don't think they went to the house."

John growled. "Where else would they go?"

"I don't know. Dad, I saw the look on her face. I really don't think they went." Dean said.

John hit the table. "Dammit. Get your stuff. We will leave when they get back."

Bobby got the go ahead to come back inside.

Karen ran her hand over the table. It had waves where Taylor's fingers dug into it.

"It seems like David is at Marie's house. He likely has both of them hostage. If he is there, we have to assume Gordon is. If Gordon plans on using this as a trap, it is also likely that he has other hunters helping him." John said.

"What about Krissy?" Karen asked.

John shook his head. "I don't know."

Taylor opened his eyes and they were at the stream. "Take me back."

"You have to calm down first. You were about to blow the house up." Kate said.

Taylor paced. "Kate, he has them. He is there."

"I know. We have to outthink them. Gordon thinks we are some type of creature. He has no way of knowing just how powerful we are. Dumbass move on his part. I don't think he knows that we know that he is working with David. We have the upper hand here." Kate said.

Taylor stopped pacing. Kate was right. "If we zap over there, that will give them a clear indication that we are powerful. We have to be stealthy and hide our hand until the last minute. Do you think that they'd let you and someone else zap over there to keep an eye on things? That way, if they were in immediate danger you could step in. If they are just being held, that would give us time to drive and we would show up the way they were expecting us to."

"Are you ready to go back?" Kate asked.

Taylor nodded.

John whirled around. "Where did you go?"

"The stream." Kate said.

John eyed her. "Are you okay?"

Taylor swallowed. "No but I think Bobby's house is safe."

Dean ran down the stairs.

John shared what he had shared with Bobby.

"Someone needs to go keep an eye on the place to make sure they are not being hurt. I think that should be you and Kate." Taylor said and looked at John. "They are probably expecting me to show up with Dean. They will probably expect Bobby as well. If we teleport, that will give away an ability. If we just show up in a car, they won't have proof right away. However, Kate and you can watch the place and step in if things go south."

John nodded. "Okay."

Taylor stood up straight. "Okay?"

"It is a solid plan. Go get your bag. Dean, start the car."

Dean grabbed his duffle and ran to the car.

"I'm going." Bobby said. He hugged Karen.

"What if someone showed up here?" Kate asked.

Bobby groaned. "Karen, I'm going to call Caleb. Would you be okay with staying over there for a little while?"

Karen nodded. "Yes. I'll grab my stuff too."

John looked at Kate. "Can you get us there?"

"Yes, sir." Kate said.

John shoved his gun in the back of his pants and lifted his duffle over his shoulder.

"Any preference for landing spot?" Kate asked. When she didn't get an answer she grabbed John's hand and hurled them through space.

Taylor slid back in the seat when Dean floored it out of town. He leaned forward and rested his head on the dashboard. "Dean, I can't promise I'm not going to kill him."

Dean put a hand on Taylor's back. "No one is asking you to make that promise."

Kate had gotten better about landing. She chose an area that wasn't close to the house. "We have to walk that way."

John readjusted his bag. "How far away?"

Kate grimaced. "It isn't an exact science. I just didn't want to show up at the front door."

John put a hand on her head. "You did good." As they got close, he could see two trucks. There was a man walking outside with a gun. A second one stepped outside. He was holding a towel to his face.

Kate wanted to appear beside them and end it but they didn't know how many were inside or where Marie and Rod were. "What do you need me to do?"

"Go that way. Try to get a read on what is going on inside. Stay hidden and do not engage unless it is life or death." John said.

"Yes, sir," Kate said. The curtains were closed so she couldn't see anything. She couldn't get a read on anyone at first. She could feel some of their emotions but nothing was clear.

John watched the two hunters move the trucks out of sight. He figured that Gordon had given them the order so Taylor and Dean wouldn't suspect that anyone besides David was there.

Dean made the drive in record time. He slowed the car down. "Call him."

Taylor called David. "I'm here."

David looked outside. "You aren't alone."

"No, asshole. I can't drive." Taylor said.

Bobby turned his own vehicle off and walked to the house so that his position wasn't given away.

Dean was twitchy with nerves and anger. He knew Taylor was struggling. "Stick to the plan."

Taylor gave him an odd look. He stepped around the car and stood in front of the steps. "You wanted to talk. Let's talk."

David sauntered down the steps. "I'm surprised you showed up."

"Are they okay?" Taylor asked.

Dean wasn't surprised when a gun clicked behind his back. He expected someone to show up and hold him at gun point.

Taylor flicked his eyes to Dean. "Looks like you aren't alone either."

"I'm just making sure this is fair." David said.

"Let everyone go." Taylor said.

David whistled and Gordon shoved Marie through the front door.

"Let. Her. Go." Taylor said.

"I can't do that." Gordon said. "I know what you are."

Taylor clinched his fist. "What is that?"

"A monster." Gordon said.

"You are calling me a monster? You have a woman at gunpoint." Taylor said.

Gordon didn't like Taylor's tone and tightened his grip on Marie. "I have no issues with her. My problem is with you."

"He isn't a monster. He is a kid." Dean said.

"I saw him injure another hunter." Gordon said. "I saw it with my own eyes."

Taylor glared at him. "I knocked a drunk out for putting his hands on Jo."

"No, you threw him." Gordon said. "I've done my research. I know you aren't human."

"How did you do that research, Gordon?" Dean asked.

"David here has known Taylor since he was born. He has proof."

Taylor closed his eyes to hide the brilliant blue light. "David is a psychopath." He grunted when David hit him.

Dean tried to grab David but the hunter hit him with the butt of the gun.

Taylor slowly opened his eyes. "Last chance, let go of her."

Gordon laughed. "Or what?"

Kate heard Taylor's voice in her head and sent John a message to let him know something was about to happen.

John's phone was on silent but he got the message. He gave them the go ahead, knowing that Taylor was barely keeping it together.

Kate got inside the house. She put a knife in Rod's hand so he could undo his ropes. "Where is Krissy?"

Rod flicked his eyes toward the hallway.

Kate told him to be quiet and get to her as soon as possible.

Gordon taunted Taylor. He needed him to show his true colors.

Dean saw Taylor's body language shift and knew what he was about to do.

Taylor held out his hand. He shoved Gordon back several steps, giving Kate an opportunity to get Marie away from him and inside.

Dean tackled David to keep him off of Taylor's back and John disarmed the hunter that had previously had a gun to Dean's head.

Gordon laughed. "I was right."

Taylor kept Gordon in his grip.

The other hunter with the broken nose found Bobby and held a gun on him. "Singer."

"Lewis." Bobby said. "You have no business here."

Lewis tilted his head. "Let's just see about that."

Taylor let go of Gordon. "Using a woman as a shield is a bitch move."

Gordon jumped down the steps. He held his gun at Taylor's face. "I did what I had to do."

David tried to lunge at Taylor but Dean pulled him back. "Hey, Taylor. When does he turn eighteen?"

Taylor blinked. "Three months ago."

Dean punched David in the face. "I don't hit kids but lucky you, you're an adult now." He hit him again and shook out his hand.

Wind whipped through the trees and sent branches flying. Dust and dirt filled the air and made it hard to see.

Gordon yelled. "Stop that."

Taylor wasn't the one doing that. He heard an odd sound and hit the ground before a piece of sheet metal took him out.

Kate looked outside. She told Marie and Rod to stay in the room with Krissy and block the door so no one could get in. "Something is happening." She struggled against the backdoor and slipped around the side of the house.

As the wind started to die down, Taylor realized that something was off. He looked down as a bullet tore into his abdomen. He stumbled back and time sped up again.

John grabbed Taylor. "You son of a bitch!"

Gordon looked down at his hand and then at Taylor. "I told you to stop it."

Taylor groaned. "I wasn't doing it, asshole."

Kate looked up at the sky. She felt the ground start to vibrate and then everything went black.

John tried to stop Taylor's bleeding.

Gordon told John to back up. "Get away from him. You are done protecting him."

John glared at him. "He's a kid."

"He's a monster." Gordon said.

Another man appeared and threw Kate at Gordon's feet. "Found the other one."

Dean's heart twisted. She had blood on the side of her head and her body was limp.

Gordon had more hunters than the two that had been seen originally. "Take your boy and Singer over there and leave. We have no reason to harm you unless you get in the way." John tried to lunge at Gordon but Gordon moved and held his gun at Kate's head. "Back away."

John was seeing red but he couldn't make a move. If Gordon shot Kate in the head, there was no way that she would heal.

Taylor's eyes flashed and caused Gordon's gun to go flying. He disoriented the man that had Bobby and held the other man back. "We didn't hurt anyone. You have no reason to come after us except that you are a sad, pathetic excuse for a human."

David was at Taylor's side in a heartbeat and put a knife to his throat. "You didn't hurt anyone? What about mom and dad?"

Taylor swallowed. "Craig killed her."

David dug the knife into Taylor's neck. "You killed her."

Kate started to wake up and got on her knees. She took in the situation and fear for her family drove her to stand up.

John got between Kate and Gordon. "You're a dead man."

Gordon laughed. "No, you are." He had managed to grab his gun and pointed it at John's chest.

The wind started again and lasted for a few moments before fading.

Gordon flicked the gun to Kate. "Are you the one doing that?"

Kate looked around. She had an eerie feeling. "I think there is something out there that should scare you a lot more than a 13-year-old does."

The yard grew silent.

Gordon tried to move his feet but they were stuck to the ground. "Release me."

Kate held up her hands. "Dude, I'm not the one doing it."

David told Taylor to release them.

"I'm not doing it." Taylor said.

Dean and John were stuck too. "Gordon, we are frozen too. There is no way that either of them is responsible."

Gordon fired the gun.

John slowly fell to his knees, holding his chest.

Kate tried to catch him but she only managed to brace his head. She put her hands on him.

Dean blinked and John was gone.

Kate sent him to the stream. She didn't know how bad the wound was but he'd be safe there.

Gordon's eyes grew wide. "See, I was right about you too."

Kate was breathing heavily through her nose. "You have no idea how badly you fucked up." She raised her hand for a moment before dropping it like a flag.

A loud howl rang out through the trees.

Dean's blood ran cold. He looked at Kate but couldn't move.

The other hunters heard it too. "What is that?"

Kate approached Gordon. "Do you know what happens to people who attack women and children?"

Gordon blinked.

Kate removed the gun from his hand. "They go to hell."

An invisible wall hit Gordon and knocked him on his back. He screamed and tried to scramble away from the snarling hound but it was no use.

Kate looked away as Gordon was dragged into the woods. She grimaced at the sounds and was thankful when the screams stopped. She slowly turned to the other hunters. "Does anyone else want to go for a round with a hellhound?"

The hunter with the broken nose tossed his gun on the ground and put his hands up. "Look, I didn't know he was hunting kids."

Kate looked at the hunter that had knocked her out. "How about you? You've got my blood on your hands."

The hunter was shaking like a leaf and threw down his gun too.

Bobby and Dean tied up each of the other hunters and tossed them into a shed. They'd deal with them later.

David started laughing and tightened his grip on Taylor. "I don't care if I go to hell. I'll climb right back out."

Taylor clenched his fist.

Crowley walked around Dean's car and whistled a tune.

Dean pulled his gun from his pants.

Crowley raised his hand. "Now, is that any way to treat someone that sent you a guard dog?" He leaned and rested his elbow on the top of the hellhound's head. "David, is it?"

David felt a rush every time a demon was around.

"I could easily snap your neck or have Peaches drag you off into the woods but that would not be as poetic as I'd like it to be." Crowley said.

David dug the tip of the knife into Taylor's collar bone. "Why are you protecting this little bastard? He's trash."

Crowley clicked his tongue. "I could explain my motives but ah, yes, it doesn't concern you." He stood upright and dusted off his suit sleeve. "Right, well, I'm done here. Taylor, when you're done with him, I will have a special cell waiting for him. Take your time. I've got all day."

Taylor disarmed David and threw the knife. He rammed him with his head and got him on his back. He landed a punch to David's left eye.

David rolled Taylor off of him and dug his fingers into the wound in Taylor's abdomen.

Taylor grimaced and grabbed a fist full of gravel to shove into David's face.

Dean tried to help but Taylor told him to stay back. He understood and stepped back.

Bobby put a hand on Kate's arm. "We need to check on John."

Kate nodded and brought Bobby to where she had sent John.

Taylor and David got away from each other long enough for Taylor to demand that David tell him why he was as screwed up as he was.

"I'm not the one that is screwed up." David spat.

Taylor shrugged. "I'll just siphon your memories once you're dead."

Dean saw David grab a gun that had been tossed.

Taylor reacted before David could pull the trigger. He disarmed him again and got him in a chokehold. He was hurting from the bullet and a large cut where David had stabbed him. "I have dreamt about this day for a long time. I planned out what I was going to do. Hell, you heard the demon. He told me to take my time. Then, just now, I thought, what makes you so much worse than me. You tortured me. You're right. I do have abilities. I have a lot of abilities and could disintegrate you right now. I could do so much damage without lifting a finger. I am bleeding from a bullet wound and you still can't get the upper hand. You're trapped. You're helpless and you're pathetic. I'm not going to use my abilities because I don't need them."

Dean heard the crack and saw David's body go limp.

Taylor dropped him and stumbled back. He was shaking and felt of his abdomen. He saw the amount of blood on his hand and looked at Dean. "Make sure Nana is okay."

Kate felt of John's pulse. It was still strong. She made sure there was an exit wound and looked to Bobby for help. "We have to go back to the real world for me to fix this."

Bobby nodded.

Kate's head wasn't healing but she didn't care. She got John to Bobby's house and Bobby helped her get him on the table. She put a hand on his head and healed each layer of skin and tissue as she moved through the wound. She saw John open his eyes and crushed him in a hug.

John managed to get his good arm around her. "Where are they?"

Kate helped him sit up. "So you missed the good part."

John blinked. "Get us back."

Kate got both of them back to Marie's house. She could feel her strength fading but didn't say anything.

Dean was crouched beside Taylor trying to keep him awake. He gasped. "Dad! It's bad."

John sent Dean inside to get supplies.

Kate hovered over Taylor. "I'll fix it."

Bobby held her back. "You are visibly shaking."

Kate groaned. "I'm fine."

John put a hand on her. "We will handle it. Sit."

Kate sat down on the ground and pulled her jacket tighter around her. She started shaking and closed her eyes.

Marie and Rod ran outside to be with Taylor.

Marie put a towel under his head. He was so pale. She saw David on the other side of the car and shook her head.

Bobby saw Krissy and turned her around. "Honey, you don't want to see this."

Krissy was worried. "Where is the bad man?"

"They are gone." Bobby said.

"All of them?" Krissy asked.

Bobby looked at the shed. "Not all of them. They are locked up though."

Krissy wanted Bobby to pick her up. "I kicked one in the face and I don't want him to hurt me."

Bobby nodded. He figured it was probably the one with the double black eyes and swollen face. "That was quite the kick."

Krissy grinned. "I did it like my dad showed me."

Bobby carried her back to the house. "If you want to be helpful, I bet everyone could use some drinks."

Krissy ran inside.

Bobby could hear her moving a chair around to grab cups. That would keep her busy enough for a few minutes. He was again, reminded just how strong hunter's kids were. She broke a grown man's nose and skipped off to find cups like it was just another day.

A bright light filled the sky and formed a ball. The ball hit the ground and sent debris in all directions.

Kate turned her head. "Gabriel."

Gabriel touched Kate's head. He healed her. He moved John back and healed Taylor.

John looked up at him.

Just as soon as Gabriel had appeared, he disappeared.

Dean whipped his head around. "What the?"

Kate got up. "That was Gabriel."

Rod looked at the crater in the yard.

Kate touched his elbow. "Archangel."

Rod nodded slowly. Sure, just an archangel.

John opened the door to the shed. "Out."

The three hunters filed out of the shed.

The one that had hit Kate asked. "What are you?"

Kate rolled her eyes. "Boy, you are stupid."

"We didn't know about David. Gordon told us he needed backup for a dangerous creature. He misled us." The man said.

"Hitting me in the head felt voluntary," Kate said.

"He told me to cut your head off." The man said.

Kate pulled her wings out.

All three men stumbled in shock.

Kate pulled them back in. "Sure, we have powers but they aren't dark. Gordon got what he had coming to him."

John nodded to let her know he was on board.

She compelled them just in case the wings weren't shocking enough. "Taylor and I are good. We are to be protected. The same goes for the rest of my family. If you hear of someone that thinks otherwise, you just give my dad a call. Now, leave."

"What exactly happened?" John asked.

Kate sighed. "I had a feeling that demons were near. Gordon shot you and I got angry. A hellhound showed up and he is somewhere in the woods, well what is left of him. I don't know about David."

Taylor hugged both of his grandparents but didn't speak. He hadn't spoken at all since he said his last words to David. He couldn't make eye contact with anyone and just felt tired.

Kate gasped and turned John around. "Crowley."

Crowley had his hands in his pockets. "I'd shake your hand but I'm not going to."

John clenched his jaw. "What are you doing here?"

"Juliette was sad that she didn't get a snack so I've returned to collect David's body." Crowley said.

John furrowed his brows.

Crowley motioned behind them. "That is Juliette."

Kate froze.

"Don't you worry. You aren't her type." Crowley said to Kate.

"Why did you help us?" Kate asked.

"Consider it a favor." Crowley said. "A show of good faith."

John stepped closer to him. "We didn't ask for a favor. If you ever even consider making a deal with any of my kids, hell will look like a vacation."

Crowley stepped back. He snapped his fingers to tell the hound to get David. "Yes, well. One could use a vacation at times. I've got souls to torment and hell to run. Nice chat."

John turned to Kate when Crowley left. "If you ever make a deal with him..."

Kate sighed. "I know. What if I'm 30 and make a deal?"

"I'll still bust your ass." John said.

Kate scoffed. "What if Dean makes a deal?"

"I'll bust his too." John said.

Kate crossed her arms. "What if you make a deal?"

John put an arm around her shoulders. "Are we clear?"

"Yes, sir." Kate said.

Dean was worried about Taylor. The kid had shut down. No one could blame him but it still scared him. He heard what Taylor said to David and had a lot of respect for Taylor. It was important to him that he ended it on a level playing ground. Still, ending someone's life left a mark.

Rod and John took care of cleaning up the yard so that no one saw blood and asked questions. They couldn't much of Gordon aside from a book and pieces of clothing. That was sobering.

Marie stayed with Taylor and tried to comfort him but it felt like he was just a shell. The whole ordeal lasted a few hours but felt like days.

"Do you need one of us to stay?" Dean asked.

"No. I think we are safe." Marie said.

Dean loaded the car. "Are you sure?"

Marie sighed. "Perhaps you could stay for a meal."

Bobby updated Karen and told her that everything was okay. Things weren't okay but the important people were alive and in one piece. That was a lot to ask and he wasn't going to complain.

Kate sat down beside Taylor. She could feel his pain. She could feel the depression sinking into his bones. "You did the right thing."

Taylor didn't respond.

John watched Taylor. He knew that he was in shock but there was something deeper. There was something that was broken and may not ever heal. He had seen the look in the eyes of Marines that made it safely back to base after taking an enemy's life. Those were men though. They weren't 13 year olds and the enemy wasn't their brother. Taylor had been to war and that was going to leave a scar.

Crowley got back to hell and asked Meg to show him where Gordon was being held.

Gordon had chains around his neck and limbs. He had put up a fight but he wasn't strong enough.

"You tortured one of my demons." Crowley said.

Gordon laughed.

Crowley motioned for Gordon to be freed of the chains. "I'm assuming you know where you are."

"Hell." Gordon said.

"Correct. What many do not know about hell is that it isn't all traditional torture. I do love a good lashing or dismemberment but for our special guests, we get creative. Rumor has it that you murdered your sister."

Gordon gritted his teeth. "She was turned. I had to kill her."

Crowley leaned against the wall. "Did you though? She hadn't fed yet. She was scared. As you know, not all monsters are truly monsters."

Gordon tried to rip his arm out of the hold that Meg had on him. "A monster is a monster."

"Right, well, you are far too angry to throw into the pit. You'd convince yourself that you could withstand the torture. You probably could." He snapped his fingers.

Gordon felt pain throughout his body. He could hear every sound around him and his eyes stung from the light.

"One could say that vampires are your most hated type of monster. Congratulations, you get to spend eternity feeling what your sister felt before you killed her. You won't cave and feed because this is hell. Who are you going to feed on?" He drove the side of his fist into the metal door. "Every sound. Every scream, you'll hear. Meg, darling, do you mind turning up the lights?"

Gordon hissed and cowered in a corner.

Crowley stepped out of the cell. He looked at a demon that was standing by the door. "Lock the cell. What is your favorite era for music?"

The demons sealed the cell. "I was always a fan of disco."

Crowley snapped his fingers and loud music filled the hallways. Flashing lights bounced off the walls as a disco ball reflected strobe lights back into Gordon's cell.

Meg followed Crowley out. "All that for one man."

Crowley stepped over a body in the hallway. "I know you are creative as well. David is all yours."

Meg smirked. She cracked her knuckles. "Hell just got a lot more fun."
