What if Troy assaulted Clementine in the Comic Book Store? (TW: Implied/Refenced Rape/Non-Con)

Clementine froze as Troy stormed towards her.

"I swear to Christ you're gonna regret this!" He snarled, his face red.

"I was—" Clementine was cut off by Troy slapping her, knocking her to the ground.

"You ain't supposed to be out here!" Bellowed Troy, grabbing the back of Clementine's head, "Fuckin' bitch."

Clementine froze when she felt him grab her trousers and start pulling on them.

"Where's Clem?" Grumbled Kenny, as Carver stalked around the yard.

"Where's Troy?!" Demanded Carver, looking at Bonnie, "He was supposed to get that girl and bring her back here!"

Bonnie was prevented from saying or doing anything when a scream split the air. Kenny froze, recognising the scream as Clementine's.

An Asian man rushed up to the gate, "Troy's locked himself in that store with that girl."

Carver growled, as the man opened the gate and Kenny, throwing all caution to the wind, bolted. He thought he heard Carver tell them to leave him, but he brushed it aside. As he got closer, he heard Clementine's screams morph into sobs and pleads.

Kenny spotted a couple of Walkers trying to get into the comic bookstore, improvising, Kenny grabbed a discarded spanner and brought it down on the Walkers heads. Clementine started screaming again, loud pleading sobs replacing them. Kenny had just gotten the door open, as a cold gazed woman pushed past him and pulled Troy off the girl. Kenny stopped at the sight of Clementine curling up into a ball.

"Shel, get her some clothes." Ordered the woman, "Now."

A brown-haired woman nodded and took off, as Kenny stumbled out of the store, almost walking into Mike. The Asian man that told Carver about Troy grabbed Kenny's arm and dragged him back to the pen.

"What happened?" Asked Carlos, as Kenny stalked around the yard, "Carver left after you took off and then Mike followed-"

A gunshot rang out, as Bonnie guided a trembling Clementine back into the yard.

"Bill, er," Bonnie cleared her throat, "Bill dealt with Troy."

"Oh, that's great," Snarled Kenny, storming up to Bonnie, "how do we know he didn't put the fucker up to it?"

"Bill wouldn't do that."

"How do you know?" Asked a new voice, a girl a couple years older than Clementine stood in the gateway.

"He's not like that Becca."

"Yeah, because you're a great judge of character."

"That's not fair."

"And letting Clementine get raped by that shit stain was?!" Snarled Kenny, towering over Bonnie, "We shoulda just put a bullet in your head when we had the chance!"

"Or, we can leave now, while Bill's distracted." Said the Asian man, arriving with a couple of bags, "Bill and Tavia are currently locked in the office, and we've got a couple of trucks ready."

"We can't just-"

"Leave?" Interrupted a dark-skinned teen, "Yeah, we can. I heard Bill say that Troy raping that girl was a suitable punishment."

"M-maybe you misheard-"

"We're leaving, Bonnie." Said the Asian man, his tone final, "With or without you."

Kenny absently noted that Rebecca and Sarita had started guiding Clementine out of the pen, as Luke, Nick and Mike took some offered weapons. For the second time in a week, Kenny found himself in the back of a truck, only this time they were escaping.

"W-where are we going?" Asked Sarah, timidly.

"We're gonna try Wellington," Said the woman who pulled Troy off Clementine, "Failing that, we might try things with the New Frontier."

"What the fuck is that?" Demanded Kenny, getting a wince from the woman.

"It's my original group," Confessed the woman, "I was scouting for other survivors, we've got a functioning society."

Kenny glared at her, "Who the fuck are you?"

"Name's Ava." Supplied the woman, before glancing at Clementine, "How old is she?"

"She was eight when all this started." Said Kenny, glancing at the girl.

"So, she's eleven."

Kenny frowned, "Seems about right."

"We've got a hospital." Said Ava, "And, from what I've heard, people are being turned away from Wellington."

Kenny froze at Ava's statement.

"Do you want to risk it?"

H

"Wow." Luke stared up at the gates. They'd travelled for days, driving from Tennessee to Virginia, coming to a stop outside a massive community. Ava hopped out and strode up to the gate.

"Max!" Yelled the woman, "Get the gate open, we've got a problem!"

"What?" Yelled a man from the top of the gate, "What kind of problem?"

"Someone's giving birth!"

Almost comically, the gates swung open, and a bad-tempered looking man strode out, "Ava, where…?" The man trailed off, silently counting the people, "did you get these people?"

"Long story." Answered Ava, "Look, I'm gonna need Carla to talk with one of them."

"Why?" Asked the man, frowning.

Ava glanced around, before leaning forwards, "One of the guys at the community I took them from, raped an eleven-year-old girl."

"And you fucking brought him here?!" Demanded the man.

"No." Ava shook her head, "The girl is in the truck with her guardian. She's a mess. Before, she was kinda sassy, defiant, and now, she's terrified to move."

The man frowned, "Ava…"

"Look, David, I know there's a protocol for this, but both she and that pregnant woman need to be seen to ASAP."

"Anything else?" Sighed David, running a hand down his face.

"One of them's a doctor."

David sighed, "Alright, I'll clear it up with the others." He turned and looked up at Max, "Let them through. And get Lingard and Carla down here!"

H

Gill looked at the people around them, he and his parents had been picked up by the trucks. He'd tried to extend a greeting to a girl with a baseball cap, only for her to flinch and cower away.

"What's wrong with her?" His dad asked a woman with brown hair.

"She, er, she was raped." Said the woman, making Gill frown.

"What's that?"

"It's-" Gill's dad was prevented from responding by the woman who brought them her ordering everyone out.

"No, she's not giving birth in the streets!" Yelled a man in a doctor's coat, guiding the pregnant woman into the community.

"There are rules for a reason!" Protested an older woman, as the bald woman walked up to her.

"The girl's still in the truck," Said the woman, "Carla can try and coax her out."

"You could've warned me that guy was an asshole." A man with a brand on his neck walked up to them.

"He's her guardian, I think." Answered the bald woman, "he's going to be protective."

Gill was prevented from hearing the rest as he was guided down a set of stairs, and into a locker room.

H

Joan frowned as Carla slowly got the girl to slowly move out of the truck, leaning towards David, she murmured, "How old did they say she was?"

"Eleven." Answered David, "But, according to Ava she seemed to act older than that."

"Did they say if she started puberty?"

"I don't think so." David frowned and crossed his arms, "God."

"You had a daughter before all this?"

"Mariana, she," David swallowed, "she died, I think. I was never able to check."

They watched as Carla got the girl to uncurl herself, David winced at the state of her clothes, noting the dark patches that ran down the legs of her trousers, he didn't want to think if it was blood or not.

"Well," Sighed Joan, "I'm wishing Carla the best of luck, because she seems to have her work cut out for her."

David nodded as Carla led the girl in the gates.

H

"Okay," Clementine looked up at Lingard, "this might sting."

Clementine watched the needle enter her arm, before looking around, "Where's Rebecca?"

Lingard looked at her, "She's with her baby, I can ask her if you can see her, if you'd like."

Clementine gave him a small nod. Lingard gave her a smile, before looking at her arm, "Carlos told me that you stitched your own arm up."

"They thought it was a Walker bite." Clementine's voice was quiet, "They put me in a shed."

Lingard frowned, before shaking his head, "That's stupid."

"That's what I said."

Lingard let out a small laugh, "Well, that's the shots done." He looked at the door, "If you'll wait here, I'll go and talk to Rebecca."

Clementine nodded, as Lingard left the room. Looking around, she spotted a box in the corner, getting up and going towards it, she frowned as she lifted the lid. There were strange packets and cotton sticks with string attached to the end. Clementine picked up one of the packets, it reminded her or a diaper, but it seemed too small to be one.

"Good news, Rebecca-" Clementine froze and stared up as Lingard stared down at her, "Ah."

Clementine felt anxiety start to flood her, before Lingard sighed, "Those are…medical aids for the women of the community."

"W-what are they?"

Lingard, "How about you ask Rebecca? She thought you had followed me."

Clementine nodded, getting up and following Lingard out of the room and down the hall. Holding the door open, Lingard gestured to Rebecca, allowing Clementine to rush towards her.

"Hey, Clem." Rebecca gave Clementine a tired smile, "Look at him. Isn't he beautiful?"

"He kinda looks like Alvin." Said Clementine, looking at the baby, "What's he called?"

"I haven't decided yet." Answered Rebecca, "Any suggestions?"

"I had a friend called Duck," Said Clementine, making Rebecca grimace, "His actual name was Kenny Junior though."

Rebecca looked down at the baby, "Alvin Jr. That's a good name."

"We could call him AJ for short." Clementine's statement got a laugh from Rebecca.

H */Two Years Later/*

Clementine clicked her tongue, idly watching over a scrap yard, "Why do we keep fuel here?"

"No one in their right mind would look in a junk yard for gas." Said Max, glancing at Clementine.

"He seems to be in his right mind and he's doing it." Clementine pointed at a guy walking around with a boy in an orange beanie.

Max frowned, before giving a small whistle. Clementine heard Shel come up behind them. The rest of their group watch as the guy started siphoning gas, while the boy with him wandered off.

"Clem, you and Shel go around the front," Said Max, after a moment, "If they're with a group, they'll be less likely to shoot at you."

Shel nodded, before gently pulling on Clementine's shoulder, "C'mon."

Clementine reluctantly followed her, quietly climbing down and heading around the front of the yard.

H

Carlos frowned as Kenny and Mike argued over something, he thought he heard Lingard muttering about the two giving him a headache, while Rebecca taught AJ how to read.

"I know she's got a complicated history." Carlos looked at Lingard, "But, Clem can't keep hustling off with medical supplies."

"Is this about the stitches incident?" Asked Carlos, recalling how Clementine had hidden a stab wound, with them only finding out when Ava hauled Clementine to them after catching her stitching herself up.

"If she's not careful, she might do some serious damage to herself." Said Lingard, getting a sigh from Carlos.

"I'll talk to Rebecca about it."

H

Javi tried to ignore the glare Gabe was giving him, while that girl in the baseball hat scowled at him, her hands tightening around a shotgun.

"Clem, I can hear you glaring." The brunette that'd been with the girl called from the front.

"You're not the one he punched."

"He didn't mean it." The girl, Clem, looked at Gabe.

"Then what the hell was he trying to do?"

Gabe floundered, trying to come up with an answer. Just as the truck stopped, the brunette appeared at the end of the truck and told them to get out. Javi watched as Clem hopped out and handed her shotgun to a bald woman.

"Who're these guys?" Asked the bald woman.

"Some assholes that tried to steal gas from the yard." Answered Clem, trying to walk past the bald woman.

"Ah, no." The bald woman grabbed Clem's arm, "Lingard wants to see you."

"But I'm fine."

"Clem, you've got stitches that need looking at."

"But they don't hurt…much." The last word was muttered, but the woman still heard it.

Sighing, she looked at a guy, "Luke, take her to Lingard."

Javi almost found it funny, seeing the girl that'd pointed a shotgun at his face being carried away like a sack of potatoes.

The bald woman looked at the brunette, "Did they take anything else?"

"The kids ate, other than that, no."

The bald woman nodded, "Okay, I can take it from here, Shel. Go tell David."

The brunette, Shel, nodded and walked off. Leaving the bald woman with them, she frowned and looked them over, before looking behind the truck, "I take it that's your van Max is driving?"

Javi scowled at her, but, before he could answer, he heard someone approaching.

"Who've we got, Ava?" Javi froze and stared at David, as the man drew to a stop.

H

Clementine winced as Lingard prodded her stitches, letting out the odd hiss when he touched a tender area.

"Despite your amateur needlework," Lingard looked at her, "you're healing up nicely, despite the inflammation. And don't think I haven't noticed you using old bandages to bind your chest."

"What's that got to do with anything?" Asked Clementine, frowning at him.

"Clem, you're still growing, meaning you're more likely to hurt yourself." Said Lingard, "Even if you do it to make yourself a small target for the Walkers."

"There haven't been any drawback." Dismissed Clementine, getting an undignified snort from Sarah.

"Sarah?" Lingard looked at her, "Do you have anything to add?"

"Sorry." Sarah apologised, looking at Clementine, before looking at Lingard, "Clem's gotten out of breath faster than she would normally."

Lingard sighed, "Alright, Clem, you've got to stop binding your chest."

"No."

"Clem."

"Are the bandages needed?"

"Yes." Supplied Sarah, "We're starting to run low."

Clementine looked like she didn't believe her, "Ugh, fine."

Lingard quickly turned and left the room, giving Clementine some privacy.

H

"So…" Kenny looked at Luke, "Are going to talk about the Prescott situation?"

"What's there to talk about?" Asked Kenny, going back to the car he was working on.

"You know, Clementine accidentally shooting that guy in the face." Pressed Luke, "I, I know that the bullets he gave her were duds, but,"

"But nothing." Said Kenny, gruffly, "Clem had AJ and Sarah with her, if Ava hadn't've shown up, who know what could've happened."

"Ava did say Clementine dealt with most of the Walkers by the time she'd arrived." Said Luke, after a moment.

"That's besides the point." Dismissed Kenny, before sighing, "I'm really not giving Clem enough credit, am I?"

"She's not a little girl anymore." Said Luke, "She's just…little."

"Now that's not fair." Interjected Bonnie, "Clem can't help her height."

"I'm just sayin' Clem's mostly healed from the…incident." Said Luke, "And I've heard from Sarah that Clem thinks everyone's talking down to her."

"How else are we supposed to talk to her?" Becca hung down from her knees, "The only one who can talk up to her is AJ and he's not even toilet trained."

"You know what I mean." Sighed Luke, "I would talk to Rebecca about it, but I'm trying combat this in an adult way."

"Like how you and Jane was combatting watch in an adult way?" Asked Mike, looking up from instructions he'd been reading.

"That's-"

"Why're you talking about Luke and Jane having sex?" Clementine's presence made them go quiet.

"Clem," Luke straightened up, "I was just sayin' how you don't appreciate folks talkin' down to you."

Clementine pulled a face, "Luke, how else are they going to talk to me? I'm five foot nothing!"

"Four foot nine, actually." Said Sarah, coming up behind her.

"Not helping." Groused Clementine, "Besides, we've been given babysitting duty."

"What?" Kenny straightened up, "Who?"

"Those guys we found stealing gas." Shrugged Clementine, "We're supposed to help the integrate into the community."

"Really?" Kenny frowned, "Why?"

"They're related to David." Shrugged Clementine, "He's already assigned me to one, he's trying to convince Carlos to let Sarah be assigned another one."

Kenny shared a look with Luke, "Who've you been 'assigned'?"

"His son." Clementine ignored the scowl that appeared on Kenny and Luke's faces, "He's seems like a bit of a shitbird, but he looks kinda cute."

"He's what?"

H

"So," Carver looked at Tavia, "this is Richmond."

"This is going to take some sweet talkin'." Said Carver, throwing a glare behind him, "So, keep you mouth shut, Troy."

"Yeah, yeah." Grumbled Troy, stepping past a Walker.

"Now," Carver looked at the gate, "let's go introduce ourselves."

The walked up to the gate, only stopping when someone fired a shot at their feet.

"That's far enough!" Carver smirk, recognising the voice.

"That's not nice, Shel." Carver looked up at her, "I always thought we were friends."

"Who're these guys?" A man in a wool hat appeared next to Shel.

"You know those assholes Ava told you about when we arrived?" Shel didn't look at the man, "It's these guys."

"Crap." Muttered the man, before disappearing.

H

Gabe watched as the girl his dad paired him with as she led him towards a warehouse.

"Relax, they just keep broken down cars there." Said Clementine, throwing Gabe a playful glance, "Besides, dealing with the Walkers is easy."

"Even in crowds?" Asked Gabe, making Clementine pause.

"Okay." Clementine nodded, "Well, we're here anyway."

Clementine unlocked the door and let Gabe into the warehouse, before freezing, "That's funny."

"What is?" Asked Gabe, as Clementine stepped past him.

"These crates weren't here before." Said Clementine, stepping close to one of the crates, "The Commonwealth, the Kingdom, Alexandria… all of these are from other communities."

"I thought you said this place belonged to Richmond." Said Gabe, looking at Clementine.

"It does." Answered Clementine, frowning, "I mean, there's no reason for…there…"

"For what?" Asked Gabe, noticing that Clementine had trailed off, "Clementine?"

Clementine stared at one of the crates, bearing a shield with a vulture clutching a baseball bat on a black field, underneath the word 'Saviors'.

"W-we," Clementine choked, panic filling her, "We have to get back to Richmond, now."

H

David looked up from his meeting with the other leaders, when Clementine burst in.

"There's a problem." Rushed Clementine, "I, kinda, snuck out to the warehouse, and—"

"You snuck out?" David interrupted her, "Clementine, you know it's not safe to—"

"David," Lingard interrupted him, "Let her finish."

"And we, kinda, found a bunch of crates from other communities," Clementine started stumbling over her words, "a-and, I-I think that someone stealing and using the warehouse to store it."

"Okay," Said David, slowly, "thanks for bringing this to my attention."

He started to turn away, when Clementine burst, "One of the crates belonged to the Saviors!"

Gabe was confused, but seeing his dad stiffen up made him feel a quiver of fear.

"Are you sure?" Asked David, "Clementine, are you sure?!"

"I'd recognise it anywhere."

David sucked air in through his teeth, "Fuck. Shit. This is bad."

"Who are the Saviors?" Asked Gabe, looking around, "Dad?"

David looked at Clementine, "Go tell Ava, get her to start lockdown procedures, and start getting people into the bunkers."

Clementine nodded, before running out of the church, with Gabe following her, leaving David and the other leaders.

"Fuck." David started pacing, "We need to find the whoever stole those supplies."

"Why don't we use them?" Asked Joan, "They are in our warehouse."

"Then Negan's going to take it as an admission of guilt." Retorted David, glancing at Joan, "You haven't met Negan, you don't know what he'll do."

"I know that he'll kill one person." Dismissed Joan, getting a scoff from David.

"After picking them out at random and beating their skulls in." David gave her a dark look, "But, that's if you kill one of his men. He follows an 'eye-for-an-eye' when dealing with people."

"I doubt he'll get past the gates." Joan disregarded him, getting a growl from David.

H

Ava had just gotten the walls locked down, when a truck drove up to it. Frowning, Ava heard David join her side, "Is it him?"

"Obviously." Said Ava, "So, what's the plan?"

"Keep the gates closed and hope for the best." Answered David, just as the truck backed up and drove through the gates, "Well, there goes that plan."

Before long, David found himself on his knees as the Saviors rounded up as many people as they could find. David looked around, the other leaders were here, as was Ava, Max and a few of his people to his left, and Clementine's group and his family to his right.

A low whistle somehow echoed through the noise, as a man in a leather jacket and with a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat sauntered forwards.

"Well," His tone was jovial, "ain't this a pretty fucking picture." Smirked Negan, "Now, normally, I wouldn't just knock your doors down. But, you," Negan gestured to all of them, "stole from me, killed my guys and, fucking frankly, that's just not on."

Negan walked along the line up, quietly glancing at the crowd of people in the community, "Now, I can't let that go unpunished."

He pointed his bat at someone, "Eeny." He pointed his bat as he counted them off at random, walking up and down the line up, leaving a word for each person, "Meeny. Miny. Mo. Catch. A. Tiger. By. The. Toe. If. He. Hollars. Let. Him. Go. My. Mother. Told. Me. Pick. The. Very. Best. One. And. You," Negan swung his bat, hitting Clementine as she rushed forwards brandishing a knife, "can't fool me twice."

David swallowed, seeing Clementine's left ear stuck to the bat, as someone restrained her.

"Now," Negan looked at the person he was in front of, "Where were we? Oh, yeah." He pointed the bloody bat at them, "Are."

"It."

And he swung his bat down onto his victim's head.
