"Stay away from her!" Naruto shouted, stepping forward.

"Could this really be happening?" Naruto thought, his mind racing.

"This scroll might hold the answers," Levy muttered as she scanned the page.

"Rasengan!" Naruto roared as he charged forward, his attack spiraling with energy.

"That day… I couldn't save them."

"Foolish mortal, do you think you can challenge me?" growled Kurama.

"CRASH!" – A deafening sound echoed as the building collapsed.

Chapter 1: The Black Wing Sage

The forest stretched endlessly before him, its thick canopy of glowing leaves casting faint, dappled light over the mossy ground. For three days now, Naruto had wandered through this strange world, trying to make sense of his surroundings. The air buzzed with an odd energy—something vibrant yet foreign.

"Magic, huh?" Naruto muttered to himself, his hand brushing against a glowing fern. He pulled back as its soft fronds curled away. The natural world here was alive in ways he wasn't used to, pulsing with the same energy that seemed to radiate from the very air.

The distant sound of a brook caught his attention, and his throat burned with thirst. He followed the noise, wincing as his legs protested every step. His body still ached from the ordeal in the Box and his unexpected arrival in this world.

By the time he reached the stream, the sight of clear water made him sigh in relief. He knelt, splashing his face before drinking greedily.

"Man, if I had ramen right now…" Naruto's stomach growled loudly, finishing his sentence for him. He sighed, shaking his head.

The breeze shifted, bringing with it the faint scent of smoke. Naruto froze, sniffing the air. It wasn't thick enough to suggest a wildfire—this was something else. He rose, eyes narrowing, and followed the scent, his steps cautious but steady.

The source of the smoke came into view as Naruto crept closer. Five men stood in a rough semicircle around a campfire, their cloaks tattered and their weapons crude but functional. They laughed and jeered, passing around a small pouch that jingled with the sound of coins.

Naruto's eyes narrowed as he crouched behind a thick tree. From their sneering tones and the way they brandished their weapons, they didn't look like the friendly type.

"Well, well," one of the men said, pulling out a small trinket from the pouch. "Looks like we've got enough loot to keep us entertained for a while. That last trader didn't even put up a fight!"

"Pathetic," another sneered, tossing the pouch back into the pile. "What's the fun in stealing if no one screams?"

Naruto clenched his fists, a spark of anger flaring in his chest. It didn't take a genius to figure out these guys were trouble.

He stepped forward, his presence deliberately loud as he crushed a twig underfoot.

The men whipped around, their eyes locking onto him.

"Well, what do we have here?" the first man drawled, his grin spreading. "Lost, little traveler?"

Naruto met their gaze evenly. "I'm just passing through," he said, his voice calm but firm. "But judging by what I heard, you're not exactly model citizens."

The leader chuckled darkly. "Model citizens? Nah, we're just good at takin' what we want."

Naruto didn't flinch as they began to circle him. "You can keep whatever you stole," he said. "But if you've got any food, I'd appreciate it."

The men blinked, then burst into laughter.

"Listen to this guy!" one of them cackled. "He thinks we're gonna share!"

Naruto sighed, his hand brushing the hilt of the kunai strapped to his leg. He had hoped to avoid a fight—he didn't know enough about this world yet to risk unnecessary trouble. But these guys didn't seem like the negotiating type.

"You've got one chance to walk away," Naruto said, his tone sharpening. "Take it."

The leader sneered, raising a hand crackling with faint magical energy. "Or what, kid?"

The first strike came fast—a blast of fiery energy aimed directly at Naruto's chest. He leapt to the side, the heat singeing his sleeve but missing its mark.

"Fast little bastard," one of the mages muttered.

Naruto darted forward, his kunai flashing as he ducked under the next blast. He slashed at the leader's arm, forcing him to stumble back with a curse.

Without chakra, Naruto relied on his instincts and training. He moved swiftly, keeping them off balance with sharp feints and sudden strikes. The mages' spells were powerful but sluggish, giving Naruto just enough time to anticipate their moves.

When one of them swung a jagged blade at his head, Naruto ducked low and kicked the man's legs out from under him. Another tried to catch him off guard with a blast of wind, but Naruto rolled to the side, throwing a well-aimed rock into the man's face.

"Damn it, he's not normal!" one of the mages spat, clutching his bleeding nose.

Naruto smirked, spinning his kunai in his hand. "I've had worse training sessions."

The fight dragged on, Naruto's movements becoming more calculated as he adapted to their rhythms. When the last of the mages fell unconscious, Naruto stood over them, breathing heavily.

"Next time," he muttered, "pick on someone else."

He searched their belongings, pulling out a few scraps of dried meat and some coins before disappearing into the forest.

By the time Naruto reached the outskirts of a small town, the sun was beginning to set. The glow of magical lamps lit the cobbled streets, and the air buzzed with the chatter of merchants and townsfolk.

Naruto's stomach growled again as the scent of roasted meat wafted toward him.

"Maybe I can find some work here," he mused, stepping into the bustling square.

The town was unlike anything Naruto had ever seen. Magic seemed woven into every aspect of life. A woman used a small flame spell to light the lanterns above her shop, while a man across the square carried a stack of crates with the help of floating runes. Children laughed as they chased a glowing, butterfly-like creature that flitted between them.

Naruto stopped in front of a food stall, his mouth watering at the sight of steaming skewers.

"How much for one?" he asked, holding up a coin.

The vendor eyed him warily. "That'll be 500 Jewels."

Naruto blinked, staring at the coin in his hand. "Uh… is this enough?"

The vendor frowned. "That's not even close."

Naruto sighed, pocketing the coin. "Guess I'll have to figure this currency thing out later."

As he wandered through the town, snippets of conversation caught his attention.

"Did you hear? Another dark guild's been spotted near the border."

"Fairy Tail will take care of it. They always do."

Naruto paused, his ears perking up at the name.

"Fairy Tail?" he murmured, turning toward the voices.

"They're one of the strongest guilds around," a merchant was saying. "A bit reckless, sure, but you won't find anyone braver."

Naruto couldn't help but smile. "Sounds like my kind of people."

As night fell, Naruto found shelter under the eaves of an abandoned building at the edge of town. He leaned back against the wall, the stars above him unfamiliar but oddly comforting.

For the first time since arriving in this world, he felt a spark of hope.

"Maybe this place isn't so bad after all," he muttered, closing his eyes.

Unbeknownst to him, a faint glow flickered deep in the forest where the Box of Ultimate Bliss lay buried, its whispers fading into silence.
