In this world the httyd characters are fighting owls. Stoick the Vast is the champion in the ring. Stoick's daughter is not a fighter and would rather be free then fight. DJ is the adopted older brother of Hiccup Haddock. How will he continue to keep his brother safe in a world full of fire breathing reptiles that raid villages for food. Or does his brother even need protecting anymore once he begins training the unholy offspring of lightning and death itself? And how would Hiccup's life be if he had an older brother?

Ashamed his father is proud of him over a lie, Hiccup runs away before his final test. Heart broken that he couldn't have his dad's pride for real, he maintains his belief that he is unlovable, yet longs to be part of a family. Hiccup and Stoick have a lot to work through, but after 5 years apart, and after the revelation that Hiccup is the dragon rider who saved a Berk ship.

Sicktember Day 3: Modern AU. Haydn (Hiccup) gets hit by a car walking home from school one day. He wakes up a few months later with his life turned upside down. *I don't own HTTYD or any of the characters.*

Hiccup never wanted to hurt another creature, he just didn't want to be 'useless' anymore. Toothless never planned on befriending a Viking teen, he just couldn't help his natural instincts. When two souls are brought together in a bond of dragon and rider, it's not just their lives that are changed forever.

Night Furies never miss, and neither does Toothless. But Stoick doesn't make it in time. But instead of being killed, Hiccup is transferred to Toothless' body by some unknown force.
