In star command,

Add the star command, Space rangers were all going about their usual routines. The best team, team lightyear, were coming from a successful mission In stopping the tyrant, Zurg, from taking over a civilization.

"Job well done team!" Buzz enter through the halls. "I was thinking we celebrate by getting ourselves something to eat at cosmo's." He couldn't help but thought of sally-

"Sorry guys, I gotta go."

All three sets of eyes looked to their robotic friend, XR, who was usually the one who would initiate to go dine at Cosmo's. This was not the first time but it's been a constant this past month. No one couldn't admit it, but it seems their friend XR was, as words could put it, serious, responsible, and a little mature.

Booster, being the more empathetic and the best friend, was concerned for his best friend's well-being, considering this had started a month after the break up with 42. "XR, you are sure? We can go somewhere else-"

"Alright then XR." Buzz grins, ignoring the looks of confusion from Booster and a displeased Mira. Buzz kneels and patted his friend's back, none the wiser but if he did, he wouldn't have thought his friend wasn't ok.

"Thanks!" XR grins and treaded off, "I'll see you later!" He shouted all the while leaving.

Just as soon as XR was cleared away, Mira smacks Buzz on the arm. "What is wrong with you?"

Buzz winced from the surprising harsh smack. "Mira-" but he was cut off by the stern glare his teammate gave him.

"XR could be in danger! Or being held captive! Come on, he's our friend!" Mira was the most concerned because rather than enjoying the not so unfavorable jokes, and the bad flirting attempts, XR is her friend and only few she ever was close to that was't family.

"Mira-" But buzz didn't get a few words in; Mira was lively and upset with his insensitive and adamant care for their friend.

"Don't you think there could be something XR could be dealing with that he can't talk about? We need to find out just what it is that is going on with him-"

"I put a tracker on him just now." Buzz intervened, he understood his friend's concern; he above all was suspicious the most. He even had a theory His robotic friend was replaced by another under the command of Zurg. "All we need to do is follow where he's been going. Hopefully then we can get to the bottom of this."

"Then let's get going!" Mira pulled him and booster, the most eager, after their friend.

A travel time later

Mira, booster, and Buzz, dressed in casual disguises, tail after XR who leads them all to what was the most bizarre place ever.

A diner in some small town on the planet of the Galactic Alliance. The town was a bit unique, if you call a town lost from time kinda thing. The town had an old fashion style as if it was an old but modern Victorian era they read from books. It wasn't terrible, unless you were more fond of the norm that was more up to their current tech. What was more bizarre is that their friend, who is a robot with high taste, came here. This was just a very unexpected and very questioning matter.

The team each entered a different spot not far but easy visual with the luck their friend chose a booth with a window. All three space rangers hid in the stationary shop, ordering the basic drinks that sounded good, Booster ordered a pie with whip cream.

"I don't get it," Mira looks out to see XR sitting and waiting for someone or something. She knew XR was broken by 42, heartbreak took time to heal, but he was so happy after. She wondered if they were dating in secret? Was he secretly dating a girl he thought they would disapprove of in a second? All she wondered was what kind of girl he was seeing.

"Gee, I wonder why XR came here?" Booster was wondering why he didn't bring him here! It was amazing!

"It could be he's being forced, he looks a little worried." Buzz could see XR was looking nervous.

It wasn't long when they saw a beautiful woman that could pass for a model came towards XR…. But he didn't even glimpse at her?!

"Did he just ignore her?" Mira just couldn't believe it!

"That isn't XR! It's a fake!" Buzz theory was on the mark! He was right and his friend is somewhere imprisoned in some kind of evil dungeon.

Booster however was more surprised to see XR smiled to see someone approaching him, and wasn't a female!

"Guys, I think XR is meeting that guy…" Booster was surprised.

Mira and Buzz turn to see it was a man that looked young but had two light burgundy streaks shaped like a V and dark reddish burgundy wine hair. His skin tone was pale Blue that made him look like a walking corpse with pointed ears. He wore red glasses that covered his eyes, in fact his wardrobe was a vintage wine red suit. He looked like he was out of a novel. His body build was not buff but they can see he had muscles under the sleeves and his height was near warp

"Mira is he a tangean?" Buzz asked, he didn't know a lot of species with features, but he knew he was not like Warp. This man held a regal and firm appearance and posture that reminded him of Mira's father.

"Buzz, I may not take my princess duties seriously, but I know everyone in court. He isn't tangean." Mira was familiar with her people and their world view and they wouldn't come to a place like this. "But I can't figure out where he's from."

They watch their friend wave to the man and the said serious approach melted with a smile. It was so different to see XR like that and with a guy.

"Maybe they're just friends?" Mira asked.

"But why didn't XR tell us about him?" Booster was confused until both he and Mira looked at Buzz. The answer was more obvious.

Buzz looked at them with a raised brow, confused what Booster meant. "Whatever it is, we need to know more about the man."

"Nos! Good to see you." XR grins as the said man came up and sat with him. He couldn't help but feel happy. It was hard not to hear from him for a week but he was relieved to see he was alive so to speak. "How was your trip to see the nebula?"

"It was nice, but unfortunately I didn't have enough film to capture on the way back." Nos spoke, his rugged accent would send shivers down the little bot's spine if he had one. He wouldn't tell his team cuz of a certain leader but he likes Nosferatu and by likes, he was head over tread for him. When he fell for Nos, it wasn't exactly love at first sight but he was sure falling hard for him. He didn't know how but he thinks it was when Nos took out a couple of mafia gangs.

XR grins. "Well don't keep me in suspense, tell me more." He was more excited to hear about his friends' trip. He almost falters when he thinks about it. It was more reason he needed this private time with Nos before anyone could ruin his chance like 42 tried a few times.

"Well, on the way up, we had to go through a comatose state because the trip took 3 days and they had to preserve the food consumption and the use of energy on the ship. Me being myself, I snuck away to be awake. You know my condition keeps me from sleeping that long and I don't really need to eat either. If I did, you know I wouldn't wake up at the same time as everyone and they would think I died." Nos asked for his special and the waitress nodded and hurried to the kitchen.

"Did my advice help?" XR asked nervously, he knew what Nos had to deal with so XR tried to find something that could help him. His crush was not exactly a picky eater, but he has morals and one of them was not to suck the energy or blood from both robotics and organics that could think and talk. Luckily he found a creature that is not only over populated, but they are an invasive species.

"It helped so much, thank you." Nos smiles warmly at his little bot friend.

XR felt that pulse hit him after hearing that gratitude and seeing his smile. He knew it, he had this fire sparking his system. He had butterflies, but they didn't spark like now. "Of course! I'm just glad you're ok. Did you also keep in check on your health?" He felt he was bugging him now.

"I did and the positive side of the new source of food is it is not too rich and it will not expire too fast." Nos thanks the lady and drinks the red liquid.

"So what did you do while everyone was asleep?" XR was curious what it would be like to have a whole ship to yourself.

"Well, I rode a bike through the halls, shoot a ball into a hoop while on the bike. I played cards with the robotic crew. Won credit and parts. By the way," He goes through his bag and brings out a few expensive parts and a program chip that XR was grinning at.

"Is that a VFX-1295?! That's the same program they use at the latest update for casinos!" XR turns a bit tan yellow. "Not that I would use that to cheat." He chuckles nervously.

"Didn't we already, as you said, Cleared the air? I do not mind you gambling, just be careful." Nos held his hand out and touches XR's

XR was blushing but grins, "Psh! I always am! Just have some jinx from time to time, you know how it is. So asides literally stealing those bots clean, were you able to take pictures of the nebula?" He bit the frown when Nos pulled it away to grab some pictures from his bag. XR was starting to feel that urge to grab that hand but instead cooled his jets.

"I sent the pictures to my job, but I like to keep the originals." XR kooks at one picture and another, he felt a delight to see them, he wished he could join him. Just as he was grinning, he saw there was one that had a blackhole. He knew the cruiser ship or any kind wouldn't dare lead into a blackhole.

"There was an unexpected black hole. At the moment, there was a star that exploded not too close but it became a blackhole and was swallowing up the newly formed nebula." Nos showed him the pictures and he saw XR was shocked. "And…" Nos was hesitant to finish when XR saw his attempt to collect some nebula dust during an active black hole.

"Nosferatu! Seriously?! You could have died?! Or be sent to another dimension!" XR scolded him. "Wait- you're the one they mentioned on the news!" XR was shocked but he knew Nos was not exactly Well known for obvious reasons, but just because he was a nobody, did not mean he wouldn't be missed. "Did anyone find out about you?" He didn't get to hear more, being on a mission and all, but he knew nos was not a fan being known or getting his picture taken.

"No, I just hid away."

"Oh thank goodness but don't do that, not without me. Ok?" XR was worried now what if Nos one day got hurt and he couldn't be there, or died and he didn't know- he didn't want to ever imagine It.

Nos frowns, feeling that guilt hit his chest. He lived a lifetime with risks, and had to regenerate parts of himself. However, that changed recently after meeting XR. Nos had been cautious over any risky attempts. Not to mention his days longing for the end diminished when he met XR. He wanted nothing more than to keep being by his little one side.

XR saw he got up, already thinking he scared the vampire off. However, Nos sat next to him and hugged him. Xr clung to him and held onto him tightly. "Just please don't do something like that again, ok?" He opens his dome to lay his head on his shoulder.

"I cannot promise if I need to help someone, but I will be cautious." Nos feels XR understand with a nod and pulls away.

"It's nice to see XR is making friends with someone different." Booster smiled to see this new friend's great impression.

"I guess this guy seems great but a bit boring. How did XR ever meet him?" Mira was curious thinking back to the times he was alone. She just couldn't figure out when but she noticed he stood out longer than usual 4 months ago.

"It's odd, he is not in any records or profile. I guess he's not a criminal-" Buzz however sees the stern look Mira gave him. "I'm being reasonable!"

Ignoring that last part all three saw the tall man move back across and they were talking.

"They probably won't talk much, XR gets pretty bored." they all agreed to that knowing how much XR attention span was.

2 hours later.

They watched tiredly and bored when they were talking for this long and it was so odd! XR couldn't stand a speech! Was this their friend here?

"What are they even talking about?" Mira slouched, tired and was even falling asleep.

"Must've been something important." Booster added with a yawn

Buzz however was stern and kept awake long enough. "Possibly important information.

"- I decided To go back into studying programs now that I have taken pictures all over the galaxy." Nos showed him pictures and through the whole time, XR was looking through them.

"You've been taking pictures for over 60 years, why the sudden change?" XR was amazed by the photo album of all his original work over the years.

"I need a new change and unfortunately the company thinks it's time I retire. No one really knows how I looked and at the time it was part of the condition to not expose my face." Nos shrugs but grins at XR. "I also think it's best I do now after the last incident to settle down here."

XR beams hearing he was not going to be leaving. "Seriously?" He finally gets to see him more!

"Absolutely." Nos smiles, although he was happy for a new career, his real reason was to spend more time with XR. He had lived for over 2600 years traveling and moving but he met someone he can be with that cannot age. But realizing he was not indestructible, he cannot bear to lose time with someone he fell in love with.

"That's great! F-fantastic! Have you started applying to any classes- I can help you meet the LGMs." XR grins.

"I have been looking and applying but fir now," Nos grins standing up. "How about we go spend the rest of the day together?" He held his hand out.

XR felt this became a date now and controlled himself and took the hand. He took a glance to the stationary store and tended to see his team! "D-definitely! We can go to that museum that opened up!" XR was now pulling Nos away.

"So they are definitely on the move." Buzz stood up and Mira and booster woke up startled but followed Buzz out. They watched Nos and XR leave the diner and out to the street but saw them enter a black car looking like a hearse as it was soon driven off, hovering amongst the other many vehicles.

"We gotta move!" Buzz shouted. They followed the hover hearse using a taxi and followed them into the city. They kept following until they came to a stop at a museum of the olden days. They got off and saw XR already inside with the man.

"Is this a date?" Mira thought out loud, try as she might figuring out what they were doing. First they were in the diner for 2 hours straight! You don't just take someone to the museum after that!

"It makes sense," Buzz was now serious. "This is a secret spy rendezvous. Spies come here to trade information! I've seen this before."

"So what would you like to see?" Nos asked, both looking at the brochure to figure where to start.

"Well they got those animal sections- hey they added sea creatures of the deep!" XR pointed out. This museum was so huge, you could barely finish one part of the sectioning a day. However, they came here all the time to enjoy their time together. XR would pretend to look like a drain to be carried off by Nos. "And they added a cave maze. Sounds like your expertise." He snickered and saw Nosferatu rolled his eyes but grinned.

"It was one time I told you." nos could not help but chuckles remembering he showed him while being in a forest.

"It's handy Nos, have you any idea how hard it's to maneuver and your tech glitches? I'd rather have that than get lost." He treads into the animal section with Nos, hoping his team hasn't caught up.

They made their way to the animals and yeah they have been here a few times, XR get to see Nosferatu be himself as they walk around. Nos would tell XR about the past and how some animals were not as colorful as the ones now.

"Do you miss the past sometimes?" XR asked.

"I miss some parts of the past, but I like when times are changing. You feel a part of it." Nos looks to the aviators. "But I do not miss the antagonistic Single minded people." Nos pointed out.

"You mean the times where they wouldn't accept you for you? Was that alot or half? A third?" XR remembered Nos told him about the past hate over the smallest things including transformation in gender.

"It was a lot," he looks away when he sees the vultures. "People didn't like that change people wanted but it eases a bit over the years. But there were some that felt they did wrong." Nos walked with him but held his arms. It was so long ago but he still remembers just the little changes he did, and had hit harder from people he thought he could call family. He felt a hand bring him back and saw it was his crush taking his hand. He smiles a bit and lets go of his arm but his hand squeezes XR's own as a thank you.

"You those people lost a good thing and when they realized it, it's too late and are now 60,000 feet under, if not deeper." XR heard Nos chuckles. "Besides, there's more aliens that change gender all the time! What is so bad about that? Answer is nothing so bad."

Nos smiles and thanks him with a hug. "That means a lot to me XR." He whispered to him and carries him down the stairs.

"D-do you think, there were some… into robots?" XR blurted out the question. "I- I mean if dating the same gender wasn't bad, then maybe a different species, or non organic-!" XR shutter up when Nos kissed him on the cheek.

"If the said robot asked, the organic would answer him. Besides, there were also people into other kinds of species." Nos holds him still, not letting him go.

"I believe it." XR grins. "So if this robot asked a vampire to make this a date, would the vampire like it?" He held onto him when Nos took a leap to the other side in the now cave of wonders.

"I'm pretty certain the vampire wants it to be a date." Nos smirks. "And this vampire has a crush on the little bot for months now."

"Lucky me!" XR grins and sees the maze was really huge in a pocket dimension.

Team Lightyear tried to look everywhere when they decided to track him, knowing it would alert their friend. Just as they did, the tracker read he was ten feet behind them. "He's behind us."

"Hey guys!" XR roves over to them as his companion they saw followed. XR stops and stretches till he is Nos's height and hugs him. "Nos, this is my team from my job and my friends. Team, meet my boyfriend Nos." XR grins and lets go of Nos who gave a bow. "Salutations, I am Nosferatu antimaterie."

XR grins but looks at his friend's reaction and is a little worried until Booster walks over and smiles before giving Nos a hug.

"I'm so happy XR has someone he likes! You really made a big change for him." Booster was relief to see XR happy and he didn't care who XR dated because he was family. When he let go, nos stumble but got his bearing pretty quick.

"You must be Booster. I am happy to meet you." Nos grins.

Mira was surprised by the news but she wasn't angry. She was happy for XR. She walks over to shake his hand. "Y-yea! So you are this mystery person that we tried to get XR to talk about! I'm surprised- not a bad- I mean this is XR- but what I meant-" Mira was having a hard time trying to say the right words but they jumbled. "I am sorry I can't find the words."

"You are good, you are miss Nova, a smart and respectful princess and friend." Nos reassured her by shaking her hand. "I am happy to meet you all. XR told me so much about you-"

"He hasn't told us about you." Buzz glared.

"Buzz!" Mira and Booster look at him. "You're being rude." Mira whispers, angry that buzz was not giving up the whole spy theory

"What If he's a spy using XR?! He isn't on the system, any trace on him is dead-" Buzz continues on listing the negative assumptions.

XR was worried now and was ready to run away with Nos until he heard Nos clears his throat. He was worried Nos was getting uncomfortable but Nos reassured him with a smile before changing to a stern look toward buzz.

"I can explain that, it is fair since you are right." Nos spoke.

"Now wait- wait, I'm right?" Buzz was surprised before crossing his arms. "So you're-"

"A vampire." Nos answers.

"A vampire! See he's-" Buzz tenses hearing that and holds his laser out ready to blast.

Nos rolls his eyes but continues. "I am not on the system because I am older than the system. I traveled from a different galaxy and I just didn't feel it was important to be part of it because I thought I would leave but if it eases you, I will document myself."

"But if you do that, that could put you in the spotlight." XR was worried. If Nos did that, people could look down at him like before. Nos was giving up his privacy for him and it wasn't right! "Buzz, buddy please don't do this to him!"

"XR I love you, and I would rather be in the system than to lose time with you. And I am not like I was then. I have someone I can trust and be with." Nos smiles.

"You can hide the vampire part." Buzz mumbles. "Look I don't care you're a guy, and I was rude." Buzz can see Nos really likes XR. "Look I was just worried you were using him to get to me-"

"You're not my type." Nos held his hands up as if it was a shield.

Buzz glares. "Why not? You don't know me-"

"I don't want to, I want to know XR." Nos crosses his arms. "Plus I doubt anyone can beat your ego-"

"The point is I thought you were a spy from Zurg or some thief/ a criminal."

Nos bit his tongue and XR shook his head not to tell Buzz yet.

"If you make XR happy, just promise me you will keep making him happy." Buzz just wanted his friend safe.

"I will." Nos holds XR's hand with a smile.

"Welp," Buzz clears his throat, "Be seeing you tomorrow XR." He waves at them and his team follows him. When they were gone XR felt bad.

"Nos I'm so sorry." XR hoped this dampened their date.

"It was not so bad to meet them." Nos answered. "I did sense they were following us."

"You knew but you didn't get mad?" XR almost forgot Nos was a spy as a side job. His Boyfriend shook his head. XR was letting out that fear but looked to Nos. "Wanna keep going on our date?"

Nos kisses his hand. "Yes." He purrs happily and walks with him out to the next section of the museum together holding hands
