It was an early morning for the young teacher, Nosferatu Atu, taking his grandfather's surname, was waking up to his alarm and it was something he was used to being a art teacher at a high-school. Stretching out, he groans and reveals his chest scars but a scar on his hip he had since he was in high-school. He does his usual routine before work which is to get changed, fix his hair, shave, make lunch and then head to work. Usually he makes breakfast since he has time for it, but he chose to buy breakfast before work. He could have some time to sketch random people in the small cafe that was not only his favorite, it wasn't from some trendy and snotty brand.

The best part was it was not crowded or loud.

He was able to get dressed quickly but he figured he could walk it out to the cafe since it was close by. However he was feeling the cold wind blow past him and he could only grumble, thinking he should have taken his coat. 'It will get warm soon so I will just suck it up.' He walks it until he makes it and to his surprise, he sees waiting by the counter, a man with dirty blonde hair and a ridiculous purple suit. He watched the said man making what he can assume was a waffle tower but it was quite a remarkable one. He knew what to draw out and he had an hour before work started.

Using his ballpoint pen, Nos began drawing out the subject and quickly drew the outline and even made it a little cartoon-ish, something that was not his usual style but for the occasion he felt it fit the man's personality. When he was really getting into the subject of the day, his alarm from his watch beeped, telling him it was time to go. He looked up to see if the man left only to jolt up when he saw the purple suited man next to him. He nearly fell back but he was surprised to see such light honey brown eyes.

"Is that supposed to be me? You're really talented!" The man grins and Nos looks at him confused. "Sorry, I overstepped the boundary, Names XR, short for Xavier Ramone Newman."

"I am Nos, short for Nosferatu and I need to go." Nos stood up but the man, XR, had stood up with him. Nos raises a brow and takes the piece out of his pad and hands it to him. "Here, it was just something I do everyday but you can keep it." He hands it out and XR gives him this biggest grin. Usually most people he drew did not notice him, or toss his work away. But this guy, with a purple suit on, looked as if he found treasure. "Goodbye." Nos grabs his things and leaves.

"Are you coming back here later?"

Nos stops and looks at the guy, he was hesitant, but something got him to answer back. "It depends how my day goes after work. If it goes well, I will but if it does not, then tomorrow. But if you want, after 4, I can meet you at the diner called Cosmo's. I usually go there to draw before going home."

"I'll pay for the meal." XR answers. "Tell me and I'll order it."

Nos crosses his arms. "Are you going to drug the food and drinks?" He jokes and he figured he made XR annoyed. But his words said otherwise.

"Wow you found out my master plan! I was hoping I could woo you for a date and take you to my lair and spoil you with love. And when I get it I'll take you to Neptune!" XR smiles and Nos, hearing the whole elaborate and ridiculous plan like a purple suit, made him smile. This should have made him alarmed and tell this man to forget it, but he instead laughs. He was not like most people here. He could not help it, this man was adorable and easy on the eyes. "At least wait on the third date and then maybe we can go from there. It was nice to hear a good joke before work." He didn't get a chance to see the expression, he was too focused on the time. "I will see you after work." He hurried out to his job.

But ever since he met the man in a purple suit, he had a good day. The first part of his day, there was not much going on, he had no trouble but his mind was on the mysterious purple suited man name XR roaming through his mind. He was nice and although dorky, it was quite charming. He felt the man was unique and cute but he wondered more if this man was serious with his joke or was simply trying to flirt. 'It was better than Drac's surprise plan.' The thought of trying to win him over through expensive gifts was terrible. Especially when they were feminine gifts. He had, before the transition, he had dated Drac in highschool but it was not serious nor physical then but they were arranged to date by their families in hopes to marry one day. However, he confessed to Drac he did not feel right about who he was biologically and that he wishes to transition. Just that answer is what made Drac break up with him. Few years after they met again, Drac was an entrepreneur, and boasted about his romantic adventures and he tried to ask him out. Of course his answer was a no and since then, Drac has not given up. It was part of why he has not gotten a proper date much less gotten to have experience physically. Nos however brushed off the thoughts and wondered of his current mysterious date, he did with a bit of hope XR was different.

When it was time to leave from work, Nos carried his bag out and left, heading to the diner, he walked and saw XR had arrived at the diner, standing by the door but he did not wear the suit but wore a casual two tone purple collar shirt with gray jeans. Nos was surprised and a bit sad to see him without the suit. "You are not wearing a suit."

"I thought it might be a bit embarrassing to wear for a first date." XR spoke.

"I like the suit, I was hoping to draw you more in it." Nos replies and sees his date surprised.

"I can change pretty fast! Gi-give me five minutes." He watches the man look so embarrassed it made Nos chuckle. He in turn shook his head. "Or we could just order and talk together at my place. I got some records and some nice pastries I had bought earlier."

"You really go fast for a first date. It is very original." Nos teases XR as the said blonde man opens the door for him which was sweet of him.

"Well I am always on my feet so to speak." XR lets him in first and follows behind him. "I work as an agent so i'm always on the tip of my toes, or heels."

"A business agent or a government agent?" Nos asked to walk with him to a booth that had a window but it was furthest from everyone.

"A kind of government agent; does it bother you?" XR asked and Nos simply smiled.

"No and I can assume you cannot simply talk about it." Nos sees XR nod. "We can talk about other things like hobbies and our favorite things."

"My favorite so far is you." XR blurted out and turned red. " Y-you are really cool and nice. I also like collecting stones, even some that are plain."

"I like collecting shells when I am at the beach but I tend to collect batteries. I cannot explain it, I just do."

"Really? I think that's pretty cool." XR grins and they begin talking more freely about things they like to do. Even when their food came, they still talked. They talked about different subjects and movies and as much as they wanted to keep talking, it was coming late in the evening.

"I can take you home if you like?" XR offered the ride but Nos shook his head.

"It is not that late and did you not say part of your plan was to kidnap me? What if this is part of that plan?" Nos teases and sees XR smile back at him.

"You said the fifth date is the proper time and I think I won't do that just yet." XR looks as if he was thinking about it and Nos rolls his eyes.

"Well I thank you for being considerate to not kidnap me yet. We can have a second date this friday." Nos offers.

"I like that." XR grins.

"Please wear that suit." Nos leans down a bit and kisses his cheek and gives him his number in hand. "Call me later."

Nos took his leave and left but he couldn't help but feel excited for his next date. Through the following days however, Nos had been seeing XR alot. In fact, they have had small, but morning dates together. Each morning they sat together, talked and shared a drink of coffee together and last minute sketches though XR would make funny poses for him. They would catch each other in the afternoon as well talk on the phone but Nos felt his body would be electrified through the small kisses each time he gave and the one time he kissed XR, he was feeling an attraction with XR.

It was a Thursday and it was pouring more than usual after school and Nos did not bring his car and his umbrella broke. Of course when he saw Drac appear by coincidence, he decided to call XR for help. When XR came, he saw him ran to his side, wearing a purple raincoat and had another one in his arm. Nos could not help but smile so much from seeing him. He wears the raincoat and walks with XR, leaving a shocked Drac at the steps.

Nos entered the car without getting much to look at but the inside was quite different. Grey leather seats with green linen, a small little robot keychain and yet it was quite clean.

"Thank you XR for the ride. Forgive me if this takes you away from your route." Nos recalled XR lives outside of town.

"Hey it's pouring out here, I like knowing you're safe and sound." XR smiles as he starts the car. "Have you eaten?"

"Not since this morning." Nos can tell XR was not mad but worried. "Mind we buy food first and maybe have a second date in the car?"

"I think this would be our 5th date." Nos grins and sees XR blushing. "But yes I

I would l-love that." He sees XR smiling excitedly. "Though would you mind holding off from the kidnapping, I still work tomorrow."

"R-really?" XR blushes deeply and Nos chuckles and nods.

XR drives to a place they have not been to and saw it was a pizza parlor. "W-we can get something else?"

"Pizza is perfect." Nos reassures him and is about to get off when XR stops him. "I'll get it, you keep warm." XR kissed his cheek and hurried off. The art teacher never felt so heated in his cheeks. Nos looked around the car and played music on the radio and felt his heart was skipping beats thinking how close he and XR had gotten. He also felt as if his body was warming up now either because of the kiss or the heater from the car. It wasn't long when XR called him what toppings or anything he wanted.

"Meat lovers and thank you." Nos answers and hears the beep but lies back thinking about XR, his heart was fluttering and he's thinking about the date tomorrow. XR insisted he surprise him. Nos was thinking about his own surprise. He never went far than a kiss but with XR, he wishes to go further with him. But he was worried being inexperienced would ruin it. Yet the idea of being untouched is something that can be the reason and leave after having it. He did not get to think much of it when he sees XR hurrying with a pizza box and drinks.

"Sorry it took a bit, are you warm?" XR noticed he was a bit shivering from the cold air that came in when the door opened. Nos shook his head when XR took off his suit coat and placed it over him. Nos could feel his cheeks burning from the interaction but the smell of violets and a cologne of sorts filled his senses that he felt something stir in him. That was when the radio was glitching and changed to a romantic song. He sees XR was confused but shrugged it off when they were close thanks to the proximity between them. "Are you warm.….?" XR asked.

Nos felt his heart stirring and leaned to kiss and that's when he leaned over to XR side. He felt a tingle from the kiss and the more he pulled a bit, he leaned for more. He somehow was over and on top of XR, he was laying on top of him and kisses him with need. He can see XR was dazed in the kiss but kept his hands just above his hips, his hands were on his chest. He licks XR's lips before he feels XR's mouth open for him and lets him take dominance. Somehow the pizza was in the back but he was holding onto XR when they were making out but they didn't care about where they were. Nos just wants to enjoy as much as he could with XR. Just when he felt XR pull him close, they stiffened when they heard a harsh knock. He was so thankful for the tinted fogged up windows and shuffled as carefully as he could and XR the most disheveled tried to fix himself before opening the window to see it was Officer Buzz.

"Afternoon officer." XR smiles and Nos could only nod, he was trying not to look at the hickey he made on XR.

"We seemed to have had a power outage in the whole block but it's been more than five minutes.… Did you two see anything odd?" Buzz asked.

"No? We were talking and eating together and kissing." He blurted out, feeling ridiculous.

"… just drive home safe." Buzz left but Nos can tell he was a bit embarrassed to hear his acquaintance was kissing someone. They decided to head to nos place. After walking the steps, nos unlocked the door but blushes. " I was thinking since it is pouring outside, perhaps, maybe, you should spend the night here?" He was worried he was insinuating but XR smiled at him.

"Only if you don't mind I sleep in the couch, I really like you a lot, but I don't want to scare you or think I'm here for only a good time. I want to show I respect you and will be good."

Nos felt his heart skip a beat and he felt as if his heart was going to pop out. "Thank you." He held his hand to him and they enter inside but it seems the building was out too so using his personal light, Nos led XR up the stairs and to his place. When they entered, Nos felt a bit embarrassed he left his paints and canvas around and some books around. "Sorry about the mess." He hurried to clean around but XR joined and helps him.

"My place can be messy too." XR winks and looks at the work he's done. "Wow, these are beautiful. Are you into Cubism?" Nos was surprised XR knew about the style.

"I am getting into it thanks to you. I never tried to paint in abstract work." Nos lets him look at the others and see some landscapes. Nos went into detail about them being places he used to see in his childhood. "My mother used to take us everywhere before we moved to the states. It was mostly because of this arse called father." Nos eats his pizza as XR eats his. "My father wanted us to leave with him but my mother took us away and sent my father divorce papers though I doubt he even cared."

"What was your mom like?" XR could imagine she was like Nos.

"She was kind and sweet, she was the only one who accepted me and supported my choices with my grandfather." Nos smiles but it was a sad one.

"She sounds like a lovely woman and a great mother. Did she passed away?" XR placed his pizza down as Nos felt quiet. "She was diagnosed with cancer when I was 19, my father came back into our lives that time. I did not get to know why at the time he came back after 16 years but it was because he wanted to take me away to marry me off to Drac. That was when we had that car accident and I was cut on the side." Nos showed him where as he continued. "But I am grateful for the accident because it gave me the courage to be honest with myself…. Being trans." He added and did not want to see the look XR had as he continued. "But my father," Nos looks up to the ceiling. "Never have I ever seen him so disappointed and disgusted with me. But my mother, she defended me and supported me. I thought she would hate me-" He feels XR hugs him and pulls him to his side.

"You know being different isn't bad. I love the Nos I am more than happy to know and the more I learn about you, it's like I'm falling all over again." XR nuzzles against him and Nos could only feel his fears wash away.

"Thank you, I never thought I could be more happy than now." He pulls back and wipes the tears he had. "At the time I was happy until she fainted the day of the argument. That was when my siblings and I found out she was diagnosed with cancer in the brain. Stage 4 and it was painful to see her suffer. But no matter how bad it was, she always smiled." Nos felt his tears falling. "She died when I turned 20." He was pulled into a hug by XR and Nos could only cry it out. Even at his mother's funeral, he could not cry and this was the first time in years he cried. And the most he ever shared about his grief and feelings. He lied on top of XR as he was calming himself down, he felt reassured by XR that things were ok. When it was 9 pm, Nos asked him if instead of sleeping on the couch, to stay with him in his bed being a full size bed. At first XR did not want him to think he was after sex, he was so flustered and Nos could only think how cute this man can be. That was when Nos reminded him he knew that and he trusts him. "I do not wish to sleep alone and after talking about it, I do not feel good being alone." Nos mumbles and he feels XR hugs him tightly.

"No worries. Mind if I borrow some 'jams?" XR asked.

After two separate cold showers after, Nos spoons XR who was liking it but he was surprised despite their height difference, Nos was amazed how a bit snuggled it was on XR…. And how toned he is. He did however relaxed snuggling against XR but he was not yet tired. "What about you? You let me talk about my personal things." He can feel his bed partner tensed a bit. He turns over and lays his head over his shoulder.

"Where I lived was like saying you live like you're from another world. I lived in a place where you have to live up to a degree of expectations. I guess you can say I couldn't do that, the worst part was my ex was the chip that made me leave my home pl-place."

Nos frowns, hearing his voice strain a bit, hearing the stress he must have had. He hugs him tightly. "It must have been hard for you." Nos could understand the strain of how much stress can be taken when you try to do so much to make people proud. He blushes to see XR eyes peek from the dirty blonde bangs that were not pulled back. He felt there was something in those eyes but he felt relaxed more.

"To be frank, I'm glad because I got an opportunity to get out of there. Plus," Nos blushes when XR leans forward towards him but instead of kissing him, he kisses his cheek. "I found someone I fell for, so even with the troubles I had, I don't regret my choices when I got to meet you." The said burgundy haired man blushes when he feels XR nuzzles against him. Nos holds onto him and soon was falling asleep.

When it was Friday morning, Nos woke up alone to his bed but saw it was no longer raining. He saw his alarm has yet to sound off but he was more wondering where-

"Oh you're up!"

Nos perked to see XR entering while wearing a yellow frilly apron, Nos's sister got him as a gift when he moved here. "It's 5:45 am."

"And you got to work in two hours so I thought I could make breakfast for you." Nos smiles hearing the concern in XR's voice. He gets up and cups his face into a kiss. He felt his heart yearning for more but as XR said he had work.

"Thank you, love bug." Nos kisses him and feels XR was melting in his hands. When he pulls away, he feels his body was electrified and wraps his arms around his neck "I could just call off work."

"As much as I would love that and probably throw my senses out that window and make love to you here, we still have our date tonight and I want to make it perfect." Nos feels XR's arms wrap around his hips. "And I recall you can't miss it because you're the best art teacher." XR grins away. "And I was thinking you can spend the weekend with me at my place?"

Nos was wide eyed and leaned down to kiss him as a yes. "If you do not mind taking a bag of clothes with you?" Nos can see XR was happy and beaming.

"I won't look into the bag- I forgot the Pancakes!"

Nos watches him run to the kitchen as he goes to grab clothes to wear for three days and three nights along with what to wear for Monday morning work. After some choices, he begins getting dressed for work and goes to see the disaster he might have to fix up.

Nos was happy nothing burned or destroyed, though he had to admit XR was a great cook when he didn't burn water. Yet to Nos, it was the best breakfast he ever had.

'I feel happy that I enjoyed breakfast with someone.' He thought as XR drov him to his job 20 minutes before work.

"I can pick you up after work."

Nos cups his face and kisses him. "I appreciate it, but I will be ok. Just do not forget to wear that purple suit."

XR chuckles and kisses him again before letting him go. "See you at 4?"

"Of course." Nos kisses him again before heading out, he sees it was sunny and cloudy but it was still wet around. He did not mind when he felt giddy for his date.

"Nos won't you hear me out?!"

Nos was ignoring him as he drinks the slightly burned tea XR made him along his lunch which was rare steak (his favorite) with salad and steamed rice that he reheated separately but he was doing his best to ignore the school sponsor/ media/ theater teacher, Drac. "I like to enjoy my lunch my boyfriend (at this point) had made for me but that seems to be impossible. You have until I finish this tea."

"Fair enough. I have been- HOW IN THE WORLD CAN YOU DRINK THAT FAST?!" Drac was watching in distraught when Nos was gulping down the hot tea and when he finished in less than a minute, he can see the steam coming out of his mouth.

"Time's up, now leave me alone." Nos got up but he sees Drac did the same. This was truly pissing him off. "Drac if you have been doing investigations over XR, I will take up on Buzz's offer to put a restraining order."

"For a good reason! He has no history!" Drac growls.

"Then at least he isn't married." He pushes his way out but Drac stood in front and he glares at the pompous pedigree. "Drac you need to leave me alone, we only dated one date, that lead to a car accident and you said it yourself, you wouldn't be caught dead with a freak."

"I am sorry many times! I was an idiot to say that-"

"Something we can agree on" Nos rolls his eyes.

"But I still love you."

"Drac, you only love what I am from and like XR, I do not have that past. I moved on to Drac, I am happy with XR, and I love him. I finally found someone I can love."

"What does that shorty have that I don't and apparently you don't, Nosfera!? Because I can say I have that!" Drac strained after what he said. "Nos I didn't mean-"

"He has a heart, Drac, and compassion. Something I recalled you also said I do not have." He glares and pushes him off and hurries to his office. He shuts the door and took a deep breath, he tried not to cry and saw the lights flickering a bit more than usual but he did not care. He calls up someone and hears his voice.

"Hey babe! I just wanted to talk to you- you ok?" Nos tries to calm himself but it was hard to say until he took a deep breath.

"I wanted to hear your voice. Just feel a bit drained from talking with trash."

"Anything I can do to help you? I can come and see you?"

Nos smiles, wiping his eyes away. "I have one more hour to go but can you tell me a silly joke?" he asked and he listened to the jokes XR gave him. It helped him through the remaining lunch break. Nos felt calmer and steps out and goes to finish his last period.

After the last period, Nos was already prepping for next week, he had locked his classroom in case Drac tried to corner him again. All Nos did was focus on his work and then over XR and their date. He could not help but feel his face flushed and giddy at the idea. He hurried to finish and hurried to go home before Drac tried to talk to him.

Arriving home, Nos was already hurrying to shower off and get ready but he was trying to think what to wear. He thought of what to wear and decided to wear a simple slacks and collared shirt with a vest. He was getting ready when he got a call from his sister. He was not in trend with the technology but for his siblings he bought a simple updated phone. "Sirena, are you coming here soon for Halloween?" He asks.

"Brother, I have to tell you something important! I'm getting married!" Nos drops his favorite mug but catches it in time. "Wh-what!? How-when?!"

"Oh brother, Je ne l'ai rencontré que pendant trois mois, mais il est si gentil et si doux ! Et un homme si musclé et si fort! Je suis tombée amoureuse de lui si fort!"

Nos understood French and he knew when his sister gets passionate, she will be passionate so he had to talk to her back in french or else she won't listen. "Sirena, calme-toi, je ne veux pas te raccrocher au nez, alors calme ton cœur. L'as-tu dit à Ald?"

"...No."

"Vous feriez mieux de le lui dire rapidement, sinon il traquera l'homme et essaiera de le tuer en lui posant des questions, ce qui ruinera votre relation." He glares out knowing how their brother will be.

"I better call him- OH! I want to ask you, do you have a date for my upcoming party?" She asked.

"Actually I might if I ask him. We just started dating-"

"My brother, you need to bring him!"

"I will if the date goes well. You know I never get past the dates especially when you know who tries to ruin it."

"I was right about that bastard! He needs to leave you alone!" Sirena shouted through the phone and Nos had to pull the phone away when she started cursing.

"Sirena, it is the reason why I am hoping to take him outside of town and hopefully nothing goes wrong." He still hears her cursing off in French and decides to hang up until she calms down. "I hope whoever she is engaged to is patient with her." He always respected his sister's choices but to get married that fast was something. She never jumped to something grand unless she really wanted it so it must mean this man was something. He hoped this guy was decent. He goes to get ready and gets a text from XR telling him he'll be arriving soon. Nos smiles and goes down the stairs of his apartment but hides away just in time to see Drac outside the entrance. He had to think what to do and had a solution but he was not going to like it at all. He had to ask a neighbor to exit through the emergency window and went down. He was going to call XR but he did not have to call and saw the familiar purple suit man running and stopping just beneath the emergency ladder. Nos tried to push the ladder down but it was stuck. He saw XR standing by, ready to catch him. He felt too hesitant for a bit until he took the fear out and hurried to the last bar and jumped off and felt XR caught him in time.

"You look handsome." XR smiles and Nos holds onto him tightly.

"Can you put me down?" Nos was already embarrassed enough being carried

"I would but it's a bit muddy." XR smiles and carries him to what Nos recognized was a thunderbird in purple and white coating. XR let go until he brought him in the car. Nos looked down and saw his shoes were ruined. "I'll pay you back."

"Don't worry, I need to get rid of them anyways. Maybe you can help me choose a new pair?" He closes the door for him and goes around to get in. When the car starts they head off and Nos could not help but feel he was falling for this guy harder than before. Nos was going to give his date a location but it seemed XR had an idea where to go. It was surprising XR took him to the Gothic theater, a place he did not know about but it was quite beautiful and it was even more amazing to find the theater empty. He looked around to see there was no one here at all.

"I was trying to find a place you might like and so during my mission to find a perfect date setting, I found this place." He grins. "I also found out the owner was selling it for pretty cheap so I bought it."

"Why?" Nos was curious now. A small gothic theater outside of town was odd but by the looks of it it was one of the oldest theaters standing.

"Well," He watches XR look nervous. "I figure if you want to come somewhere no one won't bother you, you can come here and watch movies- or come here to think! I like the town but sometimes it can be loud and a little judgy."

"It can be especially since I have only lived here for 2 years." Nos walked over to XR. He felt more happy than nervous coming here and although he felt he was in a horror movie, he doubts XR is capable of that level of psycho. He had this gut feeling XR is really kind. "I like this alot but this isn't just for me I hope. Surely you can make some business here."

"I would but I don't know how to run a business but I feel like this could be my home away from home you know?" XR leads him away from the entrance and to the theater room. "Choose a spot and I'll be right back." He hurries out.

Nos picked a spot in the middle of the room. It wasn't a grand room like the modern theaters. It was a room the size of a classroom and he waited a bit and the movie started and saw it was a Dracula classic. He likes that movie and sees XR coming in and sits next to him, bringing popcorn. What surprised him was XR having the popcorn between them, usually most of his dates would try to keep close but this was different and he liked this a bit. He and XR watched the movie and during the whole time, it felt good to have a second date without Drac interference or a date trying to distract you from a good movie. When it was over, he felt he had to ask XR. "XR, thank you for earlier and bringing me here. I was wondering, would you like to meet my siblings? Though it might take some time to get to this island."

"I was going to ask you that!"

Nos was surprised and XR showed him a picture of his sister and a taller man. "My brother got engaged to this nice lady and he insisted I come and bring my special date. I know it's a bit early after we met but I really like you and you are really special to me. Will you be my-" he didn't get to hear the rest when he pulled XR to a kiss. He did not know what came over him but he felt indeed XR was special and he felt something in him when he kissed XR. Like a surge of energy hit inside of him. He kisses XR and in seconds he was practically on XR making out. It lasted 15 minutes until Nos felt XR had to hold him back.

"I think if we keep kissing, I might just do my plan early." XR pants away.

Nos felt his face burning red and as much as he didn't believe XR was serious, he hoped he was. "It is not kidnapping if I willingly go with you." Nos kissed him again and felt XR kiss him back. "Besides it is the weekend, I do not want to go back home." He whispers and not a second out XR carried him out to his place.
