XR woke up in his bed, he felt his electro magnetic powers were buzzing up already so he put on his diffuser, a bracelet that keeps his power dull down but it'll be harder to control it when he's overheated. It's been only the second day of being here on a watery planet called earth and he was relieved to feel settled here rather than on a ship base. He decided to wake up early so it's less crowded to look around town. He got his purple suit on, being a bit flashy, it was also a gift from his brother. His job was doing mostly reports and analyzing cases for the galactic federation and he can work from earth and he's glad it's not a high expectation because it was his time of the season to find a sweetheart or a partner.

Finding a sweetheart was hard to find within a human race with little electricity in their body but this way he won't get hyper heated or obsessed and it won't mess with his job.

The reason is simple:

He's a Nebulan, an alien race that's from a planet from a literal Nebula with a thick accent so hard to say but his home planets were like Neptune or Ouranos (uranus).

Back to his dilemma

It was a season where a Nebulan, before their heat, had to find a sweetheart or else they would get overheated to the point they might create a magnetic pulse that can leave, oh say, a city block out for a few days. It was common on his planet to have more than one partner and it was recommended to have an open relationship rather than to be in just one but XR didn't want a multiple partner or an open relationship. Long story short, he wanted a serious relationship like his pops had but back at home they were judgemental on how many you were with and your potential as a lover and how much you got in reproductive capacity. XR only had one relationship and they did hit off in first base but she wasn't ready to get super serious! It was a good thing they didn't hit third base or home run or else he would hear it from everyone about whether he had good stamina or not. If you're wondering why or what got him to be with her, it was her smell.

As part of finding a sweetheart, think of Nebulan as a dog, the smell and sometimes the taste is how they attract themselves to a sweetheart and his ex's smell was sweet but she wasn't sweet enough for him. He was lucky because just as she dumped him, he was accepted to working in the Intergalactic federation. Of course the start of his job was to work on this planet, doing reports because they were concerned over the Nebulan being a distraction on the base. It was also common having interspecies relationships but honestly he was trying to show he was a good agent and didn't need to be fired. He was relieved because he wouldn't be at fault for destroying a ship and it'll be nice to just date without going haywire.

He was living in a small town called Star Falls Oregon. It was a small town and it was a pretty safe haven for aliens and the people there were clueless. Except for an officer there named Buzz who's a stickler for the law and he feels like Buzz is suspicious of him. It was not his fault he was making technology a bit screwy (it was not just screwy, he blew out a store's power just by entering in it)

ANYWAY, It's gonna be my pov since the author is gonna keep on being annoying! I decided postmating my groceries was better but that's not the point, I still wanted to explore the town. Part of the tradition in finding a sweetheart, I had to be like a peacock and attract attention…. which made me look weird to the humans in that bar last night that made them keep away from even looking at me. Not to mention people made poke at my suit. So leaving the cabin I started the day by checking out that little cafe that had an open stand and it was from what I heard a pretty quaint one. I heard their coffee and baked goods are good.

Out of nowhere, I sensed someone's eyes on me and I thought I was gonna have to deal with some harsh insults or snotty remarks. Just as I turn my eyes to where, I see there is this guy drawing something. At first I felt a skip in one of my (3) hearts but I looked away pretending to not notice him and side watched. He was sketching me out and I felt a bit surprised when he was so focused on the sketch. I was able to walk over without getting caught and saw this guy draw me like a cartoon character! It was amazing and really caught my good side! It made me feel special but then I caught a whiff of his scent, I could feel my mouth salivating so bad, I had to step back. I never wanted to so badly take him there on the very table and what puzzled me was the fact he was human! Spaceballs, he's startled! I gotta say something cool!

"Is that supposed to be me? You're really talented!" I nearly felt my 3 hearts beating out of my chest when I saw those dark red eyes. I hope I don't sound like a dork. "Sorry, I overstepped the boundary, Names XR, short for Xavier Ramone Newman." Was that my name? I think it is.

"I am Nos, short for Nosferatu and I need to go." His voice sounded velvety and he had an accent. I wanted to hear him- he's going to leave! I stood up at the same time but I didn't think it through. I wanted to say something but he surprised me when he took out the sketch from his book. "Here, it was just something I do everyday but you can keep it." He handed it to me and I felt I was the luckiest guy in the galaxy. I have never gotten a gift so special, and in my species' tradition, it was saying he chose me but i gotta keep it cool.

"Goodbye."

I was startled when Nos grabbed his things to leave.

"Are you coming back here later?" I'm pretty sure I sounded desperate- Wait he doesn't look annoyed, I'm doing something right! Nos stops and looks at me, I felt so nervous because it was the first time I wanted to hear a yes so bad.

"It depends how my day goes after work. If it goes well, I will but if it does not, then tomorrow. But if you want, after 4 I can meet you at the diner called Cosmo's. I usually go there to draw before going home."

"I'll pay for the meal." I'm pretty sure I sounded needy but I heard humans on dates tend to go more if there's a free meal and I want him to come. "Tell me and I'll order it."

Nos crosses his arms. "Are you going to drug the food and drinks?"

Wow he is smart! Maybe I can go along with this. "Wow you found out my master plan! I was hoping I could woo you for a date and take you to my lair and spoil you with love. And when I get it I'll take you to Neptune!" I think he might run for it laughing at my half joke! I really want to take him away. Aaagh I need to chill!

"At least wait on the 5th date and then maybe we can go from there. It was nice to hear that before work."

I had a huge smile on my face, I got a date! "I will see you after work." I watched him leave and I felt so happy. Until I heard people talking about my suit. Maybe I could wear something less conspicuous. I went to my car and drove off just outside of town and drove to a cabin that was nice and quaint.

My job figured it was safe to keep me away from the town when I don't wear my power diffuser. When I'm alone, I use my special key, a purple one, to my real home. It is a bit trendy but I like the earth's 60's theme with high Tech.

I change to my alien self which isn't much different except my skin tone is yellow and my eyes are gold with a violet iris but I wear these special goggles so I can see better. I go to my room, fall on my bed and look at the sketch Nos drew. It really warmed my 3 hearts how out of all humans on this cruddy earth, Nos was perfect! He even liked my purple suit but just so I don't lose any chances, I'll choose something more casual. I open my wardrobe that can make the outfit in seconds and search up different styles that are normal enough and just have the machine do its job. I got started doing some work, it was simple stuff like sorting and reviewing cases but I felt my mind wandered over to the cute human that somehow smelled drool worthy good! Just the thought made me salivate but my thoughts were also in his eyes. I can't help but think red is just my new favorite color. I tried to finish before 3pm and when it hit, I finished a week worth but I didn't have to send it just yet so I already hurried to get dressed in the new threads and ran out to meet Nos.

I never had it so bad from a kiss on a cheek. The first date was great and perfect! I learned he was an art teacher, a really good one, who has a sister and a brother. The name Sirena sounded familiar but I didn't think much as I talked with Nos for hours until the diner was closing. Of course I did ask if I could give him a lift, insert witty banters between us, and he kissed me! (on the cheek) and gave me his number and he really likes my suit! But the kiss on the cheek made me feel sparks dance on my face and usually that doesn't happen even from my ex! I felt Nos is the one I want. And I better go before my instincts take over to go after him.

I got home and already injected a serum to dull my instincts but my thoughts were on the human Nos, how is it his very being can make me want to pounce on him? I like to think it's just how attractive he is and my heat coming up but there's something there that starts me up and yet cools me down in ways I can't explain. For my species, we're a race that controls electricity but our energy is a different story. it's something special but our counterpart species was what you'd call the real self control and energy eaters but not a threat to us, unless you consider their libido and stamina.

So before the multiple partners law, there was another race we would interact with called Alpha Centurions from my home planet's 4th moon, they were considered high class and even rivaled the Tangeans, power wise. They were the ones that kept our electricity powers in check. They drain our power but in a good way and if compatible, become lifelong mates.

The reason however we stopped getting involved with them was because of a tyrant ruler from there.

Zurg the conqueror

Of course they're not at fault but they were sent to another planet to keep safe after Zurg tried to kill his own kind but because of that, most of my species decided they didn't want the Alpha Centurions in their lives just so we can control our own powers. I can say most of them wanted an excuse to get out of being under their monotonous control. Fun fact, the A.C were known for their dominance in both power and in heat. Personally I wish the A.C weren't forced into hiding.

I didn't think too long about it when I got a date with a hottie! I looked up a map of the town but I also saw the old run down theater that I like to go to release some energy. The idea struck me; this was the perfect spot! I wanted to surprise him but Friday was too far away! I wanna keep seeing him so now my second part of the plan is to make as many small dates as I can through the week because I couldn't wait a day.

That was our whole week before the date. Of course I made 5 small dates and 4 hang outs. I never pushed for a kiss because I was afraid of pouncing on him but the kisses on the cheek got me more than enough riled. Of course I did get the displeasure to meet Drac, the ex Nos talked about who followed him around like a parasite but I wasn't threatened by him or the fact he dated Nos on one meager date. So it wasn't a surprise after Wednesday morning, I was blocked by him.

"Can I help you Mr. Imstalkingmyex?" I already hated this guy but what alarmed me was his sapphire eyes, he was an alien and by the tell tales, he was from the regal system up on the Caldur sphinx. I know he looked familiar but I couldn't place it. But I can tell this creep didn't know I was an alien.

"Dating a comedian must be a new change for Nosfera, I mean she has gone through a lot of changes." This creep was really trying to get a rise out of me but calling Nos like that was pissing me off. It wasn't hard to figure out Nos was trans, but this creep was trying to find a gas light to burn me and I can literally sense a recorder in his pocket so why not piss him off.

"Well I like Nos, he is perfect no matter what." XR smirks. "I mean he is an amazing sculptor, he made me this pretty heart." He wondered what this creep will do.

"He sculpted me with her in erotic poses." He growls.

"Really? Why I'm jealous to hear that," I pretend to look hurt when Drac smirks. "If Nos actually sculpted. He isn't a sculptor, he paints and sketches. You really don't know much about Nos." I crossed my arms, and turned off the diffuser. I charged the recorder in seconds and saw the creep was shocked to find his pants burning. "Well I better go, it was horrible talking to you!" XR waves and flips the bird at the creep. I wasn't alarmed by the alien, but I just know that alien somewhere! Either way, I definitely won't let him steal my sweetheart!

I did wondered something, Drac is an alien with vampiric abilities including hypnosis. If he can easily control any humans, no matter the will power, why can't he put any control over Nos. I was sure he tried in their youths but Nos doesn't show signs of it. I didn't think much on other than happy to know my Nosy is really special!

And I didn't know how special until Thursday.

After picking up Nos from school, I took him to a pizza parlor but thought eating in my car was better because it looked packed inside with the rain. Moving forward, my car's radio was glitching, but my diffuser was on so it wasn't me but then my thoughts were on Nos. The kiss made me feel like my powers were gonna surge again but what got me was how Nos was filling my senses, making me feel beyond needy. I don't know if my powers were active, but I didn't care because I was kissing Nos in my car and I love it so much I couldn't stop myself. We had to end it when officer killjoy came. It didn't help when he made sure I was driving him home. In a good distance

I learned Buzz was Nos's acquaintance and this officer was very protective over him. Something about being the least skeptical citizen here.

I accepted staying over at his place, it was pretty sweet to get to know him, but I was also worried about getting a call about another power surge. But I couldn't sleep because here I am in his bed, him holding onto me. I wanted to badly mark him up, just get a taste! But I needed to wait! I didn't want to be like that creep! I then thought of how Nos heard me out. I wish I could just tell him!... I'll tell him in the morning.

I was trying to keep myself under control the whole night but it flew almost out when he spoons me.

I had to go in the bathroom to relief myself.

When it was close to the time I decided to make him breakfast and lunch but my thoughts were on how to control myself! He even insisted on calling in sick after waking up! I couldn't do that to him or possibly ruin his home's electricity.

I also wanted that date.

After driving him to work, I went home and put his things in drawers I had that were empty but I did bought extra things he might need like toothbrush and multiple protection. I was already glad I sent my reports on time and fixed up the theater place.

It was an hour before work ended for Nos when he called me and I could hear it in his voice. He wanted to cry and it made want to hurry to his side! But instead I looked up all and any jokes to make him laugh. I realized how much I love Nos, how badly I want him for myself. But most of all, how badly I want to hold him to myself. Just as Nos ended the call, my big brother called.

"XL?"

"Little bro! I got big news!"

I hear him talk about his date with his girlfriend while I lie back in my bed, put him on speaker and I look through the pictures of Nos I had taken. I nearly dropped my phone on my face when he said Sirena and he was getting married to her.

"Is her full name Sirena Atu?" I asked, it couldn't be a coincidence!

"Yeppers! Hey wait a sec! How did you know?!"

"I'm dating her brother Nosferatu." I sat up rubbing my face but I couldn't help but feel excited. "Wait, did you tell her you're… not exactly you…?" I hoped he did.

"I did, she practically pounced on me."

I was happy and a little nervous thinking about how Nos will be. That was when Sirena talked.

"You are dating my brother?! Oh I knew i forgot to ask my brother who you were! It must be fate!"

Xr perked and before he can get a word, he hesrs about warnings such as Drac (which was a half hour talk)

"And you better not hurt my brother!" Sirena stated.

"I promise." Xr answers, feeling he had now less than half an hour to crash.

"Listen lil' bro, there's also something you should know."

"Xl if you're gonna give me the talk, I'm hanging up." XR was covering his eyes feeling drained.

"No it's not, it's about Sirena and her brothers."

Xr perked. "What about them?" He was worried now.

"I found out their father has been reaching out to Sirena to talk to Nos to date Drac."

"Seriously, what is so special about this creep?!" I was having it up to here with this alien creep!

"Because Drac is the Nefarious ruler-"

Now I remembered! I sat up in distraught and more mad than ever! Drac was this war tycoon that did business in causing wars and selling his loyalty wherever! And he wants my boyfriend?!

"Xl I gotta go!"

"Wait XR-BEEP!"

I had to get to Nos quick because Drac, from what he read, has a strong hypnosis power and yeah my Nosy is strong, but knowing that creep, he'll do anything to him! And thats when I remembered Nos was crying and I would have ran faster if I had pants. I rushed out and head to my car and drove off to Nos's place.

Not long after I got there, I had to catch Nos from falling from 10 to 17 feet up. I don't know what bothered me more, seeing Drac wore a suit similar to my suit but in white or the fact he brought a bouquet of roses that was too big for a vase. Either way I was getting annoyed but when I saw Nos coming down the ladder and it was jammed, I didn't care if my clothes got muddy or the feel of mud in my shoes, I only thought of saving Nos. Luckily I did but I didn't want to let go of him. It's different how much someone means to you and yeah Nos wouldn't get that hurt badly, but even the thought of Nos getting hurt scared me. I know humans are fragile and easily able to get back up, but I realized how much Nos means to me. So I carried him to the car and took him to the theater. I got him popcorn in seconds and got the movie going. I kept the popcorn between us, pretty sure I won't be able to control myself just being next to him.

And I was right because Soon after asking him to be my boyfriend (He wanted to say sweetheart) As I said, we kissed again and something surged in each other that made Nos get more than just makeout with me. Never have I felt hotter than mercury and it didn't stop there! He and I spent the whole night and I didn't stop once though I think I had my heat so that's a sure surprise! But depending on how long my heat will last… the longest is 3 days average or until the reproduction is a success which may happen at the rate we're going. By the time I woke up I sensed Nos looked worried about last night. I was worried he didn't like it or I was way too rough. In my defense, he bit me hard and I really liked it.

A lot.

Which made me realize, I have to reveal the truth to him. I revealed to him who I am, what I am, and all he said was

"But are you married?"

"No I am not- Wait, you're not weirded out by the fact I'm an alien; from outer space? That's what worries you? I could've eaten you!"

"One," Nos stood up and although there was not much of a height difference, he still looked more confident than how I was. "You already did that last night and yet here I am, covered in your bites and full of you."

I know that was a dirty joke but that made me blush. "Two, I am a tad fan of the sci-fi world and fantasy."

"So you're saying you like that I am an alien." I hesitated but I wrapped my arms around him and his arms extended around me.

"Yes and the third, I cannot help but worry that you were married because you were too good to be true of a great guy." Nos places his hands on his shoulders. "So the fact you are an alien, doesn't bother me."

"Listen Nos," I felt my hearts were gonna burst in me and he could literally see them glowing. "I want to ask you something I know is too fast, but I want you to be more than my boyfriend. I want to tell you everything and I will, but I want you as my only life partner, husband, anything you want to call us." I felt scared and his answer was a kiss.

"I want to be your lifemate." He leans up and kisses me again and kisses my chest. "I want to be yours XR as you are mine. I love you." He smiles at me and all I can think of is how lucky I am. I pull him for a kiss again and again until we hit it off again.

Of course when we took a break from our love making session, we talked about everything.

"At least we won't have to worry about anything else." I laid on my back and had Nos on top of me.

"Almost. we have to tell my brother about us." Nos spoke looking worried.

"We'll be fine sweetheart." I kissed him on the cheek. "Besides, we should probably eat something before my heat hits again. I'd like to get you something to eat first." I know in my 3 hearts we'll be alright and things will be fine. All the surprises between them are done and the only problem he has is to deal with a certain alien vampire.

"Thank you." Nos hugs me tightly. I am the luckiest alien in this universe.

Meanwhile

"I swear my brother doesn't hear the whole thing." XL grumbles As he sits in a lounge chair looking out from the beach to the ocean. He was not exactly what women like, the prince charming look. He was handsome, but he was also scary.

"Mon amour, tu vas bien?"

XL blushes to see his fiance walk up in her red wine swimsuit. He was the luckiest alien to meet the love of his life but the fact she is half Alpha Centurion was rare! He met her in the most romantic place, a mechanic shop. She was so beautiful even when her hair was wild and covered in leaves and twigs. Most of the guys he worked with didn't give her a glance but XL did and she was even more beautiful when he saw her again at a music store . He found out she was part AC when she was accidentally zapping the store after some paparazzi tried to provoke her but XL projected and defended her honor. Since then Sirena had fallen for the big muscular XL. They were together since and later Sirena learned XL was an alien and she was very happy to hear.

Sirena sat on his lap and kissed his cheek. "Are you worried about your brother?"

XL gushes and kisses her. "Kinda. I was trying to tell him about you and Nos and his other brother being aliens…. And that tyrant is my soon to be father in law. And soon his lil' brother's in law since XR is that determined." He hugs her and feels her kisses him. "I'll tell him when he gets here." He melts and holds her in his arms.
