4. Unexpected events

Even in her sleep, Neze felt a presence coming closer to her bed, due to her fine senses as a high-level three and a werewolf. But she wasn´t worried, Neze knew and smelled who this person was.

"Neze...can I...ahm..."

Neze didn´t open her eyes, she just moved a bit to the side in her bed and held her blanket up. Soon the small person crawled into her bed, Neze rolled slightly around and hugged the young girl from behind, their tails touched as it was normal for beast people. Haruhime was now in the familia for five days and to help her get used to everything, she slept in Neze´s room and got a small bed on her own. But what had happened to Haruhime was still too much and had traumatized her more than a bit, so every night at some point she came to Neze. The young adult werewolf let the fox girl sleep in her bed, hugging her to calm her down. And to her surprise, Neze cared for the young fox girl, despite only knowing her for roughly three days.
Haruhime was just too adorable and awakened the urge in all of them to protect her. Kaguya had joked that maybe Haruhime awakened the urge in Neze to become a Mommy, but for Neze it was more like being the older sister.

The Astrea familia mostly treated each other like siblings anyway, before Bell came into the familia, Ryu had been like their youngest sibling. Bell was the only one that no one treated like a sibling, for obvious reasons.

There was a secret between Haruhime and Neze that increased their bond, only Astrea knew about this and Haruhime didn´t know that Astrea knew. On the second night, Neze woke up because she heard Haruhime sob, the poor girl had a nightmare and had wet her bed. Neze got up quietly and gently patted, Haruhime´s head, telling her it wasn´t that bad. Haruhime was used to apologize for every minor mistake she made, but Neze told her it was alright. In secret, they made sure that not one of the others noticed anything, only Astrea did since the goddess didn´t need much sleep and was awake that night. Astrea´s maternal instincts got stronger whenever she looked at Haruhime, so she was the one who washed Haruhime´s blanket and bedsheet in secret.

This was the first night that Haruhime had slept in Neze´s bed after both went to the bathroom for a short late-night bath, Astrea had joined them then, pretending to only notice them now, so that Haruhime wouldn´t get too embarrassed.
Sleeping next to Neze helped Haruhime a lot, she felt safe.

On the fourth night, Neze had to go on a late-night patrol, so Astrea took care of Haruhime. The small girl had cried in her sleep again and called for her mother, it pained Astrea to see her like this. Haruhime even mistook Astrea in her sleep for her mother, the goddess couldn´t scold her or anything like that. Haruhime now had her blessing on her back, even though she wasn´t registered at the guild so far.

All of them adored the small girl.

And all of them had sworn an oath to never talk about Haruhime´s unique magic, Astrea didn´t even tell Haruhime about it so far. Buff magic wasn´t that rare, Ardee´s healing magic Dia Kaumundi also buffed a person for a while and her skill did it too. But Haruhime´s buff gave a person a whole level for a short amount of time. In general, familias kept the skills and magic spells of their members hidden, there were a few exceptions when others happened to see them.

Bell´s and Alise´s magic spells were too bombastic to hide and Ardee didn´t care if someone saw her using her healing magic. If a person was in trouble and wounded, Ardee would heal this person. Ryu was the same, but due to her cape, hood, and mask, most people didn´t see who she was.

But Haruhime´s magic had to remain a secret at all costs.

Neze smiled while she drifted back to sleep when she felt Haruhime snuggling up to her.

"Good night, Haruhime."

"Good night, Neze."

"Mmmmh..."

"Come on Haruhime, wash your face, breakfast is ready soon."

"Mkay..."

The fox girl yawned and swayed slightly, she felt so comfortable in bed, sleeping protected in Neze´s hug, that she had trouble getting up in the morning. And she had a lot of bed hair! As a good big sister figure, Neze took care of Haruhime and chuckled while she carefully combed Haruhime´s hair.

"Today is your big day, are you ready for that?"

"Y-Yes..."

"You don´t need to be nervous, the guild isn´t a scary place. Also, Ardee and Bell will accompany us for our shopping trip afterward."

"Really?!"

Haruhime´s tail started to wag. Right behind Neze and Astrea, Haruhime liked Ardee and Bell the most. Bell was the hero who had saved her after all. And with Ardee and Bell she shared the love for hero stories and legends of old.

The small girl used her hands to scoop up water and then splashed it into her face, her ears twitched when they got hit with a few drops.

"Hehe, good girl."

"Kaguya, breakfast will be ready in twenty minutes, can you go and wake up Bell?"

"Hm? Sure."

Kaguya got up from the couch after Astrea leaned out of the kitchen and talked to her. Today Kaguya didn´t have kitchen duty, she would later take care of washing clothes. Most members of the familia had some clothes that they wouldn´t allow any other to wash, like their underwear.

In contrast to her normal attire, Kaguya wore a wide, white shirt with buttons at the front. This one originally belonged to Bell, but Kaguya had claimed it for herself, in addition, she had a skirt that went a bit below her kneecaps. Since it was already pretty warm outside, normally Kaguya would only wear a shirt and panties, maybe just her underwear. The others were used to that sight, even Bell got used to it. And Kaguya loved it when she turned around and swung her hips on purpose when she walked, noticing how Bell glanced at her behind. She couldn´t get enough of Bell´s desire for her, this was her form of showing love, getting touchy and flirty with Bell.
After their first real night together, Bell greeted her with a warm smile. Kaguya, in all her naked glory, had slept on her stomach, and turned her face away from Bell, her ears and cheeks feeling hot. Her pride forbade her to show Bell just how happy he made her, how much she was in love with him.

And how much she grinned and smiled just from seeing his face.

But why did Kaguya wear a shirt and a skirt when it was normally different? The reason was small, had golden hair, a fluffy tail, and two cute fox ears. Yes...even Kaguya became considerate when it came to Haruhime.

Yet the skirt gave her some unexpected possibilities. Like when no one except for Bell could see it, Kaguya would raise her skirt to the side, revealing more and more of her leg. Sometimes she did that with her behind, giving Bell a good look at her perfect butt, since she would only wear a thong then. Kaguya knew how to make Bell excited easily, to lust and long for her body. She felt great pleasure and pride that she was able to unleash the beast in Bell. That this normally so chivalrous and nice guy would sometimes bend her over her table and take her a bit roughly, that it even felt like he would spank her butt, so much slapped his body against her own.

Kaguya bit her lower lip when she followed these thoughts.

When she ended up in front of his door, Kaguya already grinned slightly from excitement, she licked her lips.

She wasn´t the first one who snuck into Bell´s bedroom that day. Or actually, someone had done it late last night. Kaguya saw long, blond hair and a pointy ear.

Kaguya smirked.

Bell and Ryu had been out until late last night to patrol the city, it got calmer in Orario each day, but they continued. Since they didn´t have a crime to fight last night, both had helped citizens with some tasks here and there. It had turned into some kind of shy, awkward date. And when they returned home, Ryu´s body had longed for something, she wanted to be close to Bell. So after she took a shower, Ryu had snuck with a deep red face and ears in her sleeping clothes and with her pillow under her arm to Bell´s room and had shyly knocked. She was the only one in her familia that still had a lot of trouble doing that "so early". After all, Ryu hadn´t even known Bell for a full year and she had already kissed him!

Kissed him!

Something that was meant to be done after they exchanged their vows of eternal love!

Well, they had done it and during that night, Ryu got her first kiss from Bell.

But still!

As an elf this should be outraging! Well, Celty didn´t have much of a problem with it, she loved to touch Bell, get massages, kiss him.

And drooled when she saw his defined abdominal muscles or biceps. Even his muscular thighs got Celty very excited. It got only better when Celty saw the two Bells when he used his Mirror Image magic spell.

But while Ryu´s heart and mind were often troubled, her body was honest and showed what it wanted. To touch Bell and feel his warm, loving embrace.

So Kaguya smirked even more when she saw how both slept. Ryu had buried her face in Bell´s neck at the side, her long hair was on her back and the side, revealing one of her ears. It was fascinating where her left hand was, maybe it was before on Bell´s stomach, but now it was inside his shirt from below.

What a naughty elf.

Her left leg was slightly curled and on top of Bell´s left leg, the knee went between his thighs. Kaguya only saw it now, but from between the tips of Ryu´s hair, she saw Bell´s left hand.

While his right hand rested on her thigh that was spread over his legs! As usual, Ryu wore a dark green shirt and short pants of the same color to sleep. Of course, Bell´s hand went for Ryu´s thigh. Kaguya blamed Alise and Ardee for that, they had given Bell a lot of lap pillows in the past, later Ryu had done that too.

And Astrea. The goddess loved to give her follower and lover a lap pillow while they sat in the garden. Bell would then move one of his hands up and gently cup her cheek, sometimes gently pulling her head down for a kiss. At the first time that went a bit wrong, Bell´s head got "squashed" between Astrea´s thighs and her chest. Not that he complained.

Kaguya saw how Ryu snuggled a bit more against Bell, her face was hidden in the crook of his neck. And since Ryu did that, her left ear came very close to Bell´s mouth, the tip slightly touching his lips. Maybe it was some instinct that let Bell act, but soon the tip of Ryu´s ear vanished between Bell´s lips and he slightly nibbled on it, a fact that didn´t seem to displease Ryu.

How "cute", it would be really cruel if someone would wake them up now.~~~

For now, Kaguya took the time and pleasure to watch them in their sleep, to see how adorable her rival could be. All for the sake of teasing her more!

But fate and coincidence were cruel mistresses and something just had to ruin Kaguya´s fun.

That certain someone did it without any evil intent, she just thought Kaguya had forgotten to wake Bell up.

"Beeell! Time to wake up, Sleepyhead!~~~"

Alise was as energetic as usual even in the early morning.

"Hm, Kaguya, did you forgo-Oh! Hehe, how cute!~~"

Of course, Alise´s loud voice woke up Ryu.

"Fueh?...Alise?..."

"Morning, Lion! Breakfast is ready soon!"

"Thank y-Eeeeek!"

Now Ryu noticed how she slept, that Kaguya and Alise could see that...and where Bell´s hands were! Bell woke up too, in reflex his hands twitched, groping Ryu´s thigh and one of her butt cheeks.

Ryu shivered. "Mmmmmmhhh! B-Bell! That´s too early."

"Hueh?...Oh!"

Bell of course noticed too where his hands were and pulled them back.

"I´m sorry, Ryu."

"No, it´s okay... Kaguya! Why are you standing there?! Were you watching us sleep?!"

Kaguya shrugged her shoulders. "Just wanted to wake up Bell, but you two looked just too cute, couldn´t help myself."

Under Kaguya´s grin, Ryu got more upset...and red. "H-How dare you?!"

Kaguya looked over her shoulder. "But man, Alise. Did you have to barge in so loud and interrupt it? An elven "mating ritual" truly is a sight."

"There was no mating ritual! Don´t you dare be so lewd!"

"And what is that?"

Ryu´s eyes wandered to where Kaguya pointed, then her eyes went wide...then she yelped.

Bell hastily covered himself. "This is natural in the morning, I can´t help it!"

Alise grinned. "Jup, can confirm this, Bell always gets all horny in the morning."

"I´m not horny!"

"Oh? But you never mind when I help you to take care of it."

Ryu wanted to sink into the ground. "Aliseeee!"

"What are you all flustered, Lion? Bell is my lover, so it´s alright!" Alise smirked because of her genius and showed Ryu what the gods called a peace sign.

Somehow, Ryu could never be truly mad with Alise.

"Anyway, Lion, Bell, get up, breakfast is ready soon. Kaguya, come."

Alise put her arm around Kaguya´s shoulders and led her away, closing the door after they went outside.

"Uuuuuuh!"

Ryu covered her face with her hands, clearly embarrassed.

"I´m sorry, Ryu. For groping you in your sleep..."

He saw that her ears twitched slightly.

"It´s because of Kaguya...and Alise saw it too..."

"I´m sorry..."

Ryu noticed that Bell moved closer to her, she parted her fingers, to look at him in that insanely adorable way.

"Bell?..."

He gently took her left hand and pulled it away.

"Will you...forgive me?"

"Be-Mmmmh~~~"

Ryu´s ears wriggled in happiness when he kissed her. Even when she took things slow, Ryu was too weak to get kissed by Bell.

After the kiss ended, Ryu looked abashed to the side.

"One more..."

"Hm?"

"I´ll forgive you...if you kiss me one more time..."

"Ehe, gladly."

Kissing when no one else could see it was fine and alright, even when they were in bed. This kiss took longer than the first one, she sighed with happiness.

"Good morning, Lady Astrea, everyone."

Ryu always greeted her goddess first when she came to the breakfast table.

"Good morning, Ryu, Bell. Did you two sleep well? Was there trouble last night?"

"There was no trouble, the streets were calm. We had enough time to help a few citizens. We also met patrols of the Ganesha familia, they said everything was calm too."

"That´s good, it is nice to see that Orario calms down more."

Astrea smiled at Bell, he returned it. But Bell didn´t kiss anyone when he sat down, it would take too long and make Haruhime embarrassed.

As usual, now, Haruhime sat right next to Neze, with Maryu sitting on her other side.

"Haruhime?"

"Y-Yes, Lady Astrea?"

"Are you nervous about your great day?"

"Yes.."

"Hehe, don´t worry. Everyone at the guild is very nice."

"I hope so."

"And are you looking forward to your shopping trip afterward?"

"Yes!"

"Hehe. Oh, and Neze has night patrol, do you want to sleep in my bed tonight?"

Haruhime didn´t need to answer, they saw how happy she was about this offer. While she often cried in Astrea´s hug in her sleep, because she missed her mother so much, Astrea´s presence would slowly start to heal Haruhime.

Alise had a fake tear running down her cheek. "Kuuuh...not even I get ever invited to sleep at Lady Astrea´s side."

Astrea chuckled. "But you did in the past, Alise."

"I was a child back then!"

"So?"

"Hah, I just want to make this experience again."

"Hehe~~ Then when Neze is back you can gladly sleep at my side."

"That will be the night of the party."

"Oh, you´re right."

No one needed to ask who would share Astrea´s bed on this night, it was her date night with Bell after all.

Neze smiled wide all of a sudden. "Haruhime, when my night patrols are over, the next evening we will visit the most famous pub of Orario, with everyone here except for Bell and Lady Astrea."

"What is a pub?"

"Hm, well that place is a café in the morning, a restaurant in the middle of the day, and a pub in the evening. Adventurers and all kinds of people come there to eat and drink. It´s a bit loud sometimes."

"Is this..place dangerous?"

"Oh, no. No way. Not even the roughest and toughest adventurer dares to make a fuss there. And the food is to die for, even the gods praise the chef there and even have to ask to get a table at the evening!"

"Oh?"

"Hehe and since Lady Astrea is so well-liked and we did so much for the city, we could easily book a few tables there."

Astrea smiled. "Just please have an eye on Haruhime, so she won´t get scared when it is too loud."

Neze smiled too. "Don´t worry, in case it is too loud we will go somewhere else where it is not so loud. Maybe the famous bath house."

Haruhime´s ears perked up. "Orario has a bathhouse?!"

"Yes, a pretty good one. Though the best one is reserved for the gods."

Astrea chuckled. "The divine bath house isn´t that special."

"You say that only to not make us sad, don´t you?"

Astrea just smiled and said nothing, while she was the kindest, nicest, and bestest...Alise said the last word, goddess in Orario, and her followers understood.

The divine bath house was called that for a reason, all of them would like to see it at least once.

"Lady Astrea?"

"Ryu?"

"Now that I think about it, it was a bit too quiet last night. We...didn´t see any orphans on the streets in the usual places."

"Ah, that is due to Ganesha."

"What did Lord Ganesha do."

"Apparently Ganesha received a huge amount of money. He told me he doesn´t know from where this money comes."

Astrea winked and everyone looked at Bell, Haruhime looked confused.

"And for now Ganesha started to pick up all the orphans in Orario, using this money to give them a place. A woman named Maria had already run a small orphanage, Ganesha helped her, and she joined his familia, and is now caring for all the new orphans."

The goddess smiled her brightest, most gentle, and loving smile.

Haruhime slightly raised her hand. "From where did Lord Ganesha get all this money? It didn´t fall from heaven, right?"

Astrea shook her head, and all of them looked at Bell again, then they looked at Haruhime and each placed a finger on their lips to tell her it was a "secret".

Haruhime understood and her eyes shone when she looked at Bell. "A true hero."

In a different place in Orario, a very small girl looked with tears in her eyes up to the gently smiling woman.

"Is it really alright for Lily to eat this?"

"Of course, Liliruca. You can stay here as long as you want, you don´t have to sleep on the streets anymore."

"Uuuuh..."

Big tears ran down Lily´s cheeks, the poor girl had been living on the streets for years now...and she was only ten...

Maria crouched down in front of Lily and gently hugged the crying pallum girl. Lily was even smaller than the other orphans, due to being a pallum.

A very tall and burly man walked towards them.

"Maria, is all going well?"

"Yes, Lord Ganesha, we found a place and a bed for every newcomer. Liliruca Arde here is the newest child that joined us."

Lily looked with big eyes up to the massive god, Ganesha crouched down and grinned wide.

"Gnihi. Be very welcome, Liliruca. If you like it here and want to stay, you can also later join my familia when you get a bit older."

"Really? You would really...let Lily join?!"

"Of course! You will even get your own mask!"

Lily was so overjoyed at the moment, so glad that there was someone who would care for her...that she even got delusional and..thought this mask looked really cool!

Bell changed Lily´s fate a lot without knowing it, she would become really happy in the future. And known as the second strongest female pallum in Orario, Lyra would be always number one. Lily would later wear such a mask too...

Lily cried more when she looked up at Ganesha and Maria.

"Thank you so much!"

Just like Lily would now become very happy, Bell´s donation to Ganesha would help so many people in Orario. The God of the People would take care of all the orphans, his familia would grow even larger due to that.

"Just Bell is fine, Haruhime."

"Mh..."

Haruhime smiled. "Why are you carrying such a big backpack?"

"Well we plan to buy a lot today, all the things you need."

"But...I don´t need that much...I don´t have any money..."

Bell smiled. "Don´t be worried about the money, Haruhime."

"But..."

"It´s alright. We are a familia, we all work together and help each other."

"But I can´t go into the dungeon..."

Neze crouched down and gently put her hand on Haruhime´s head. "You can help Lady Astrea in the house when we are away, alright?"

Haruhime looked with bright eyes up to Astrea, who went with them. "Yes!"

The goddess chuckled and gently touched Haruhime´s head. As usual, she and Neze easily managed to cheer Haruhime up.

"What will we go and buy first?"

"Hm, how about a toothbrush and other stuff like this? The others also will need new toothbrushes, so we can buy new ones for everyone."

"Is there a shop for that?"

"You bet, this is Orario!"

The weather was just perfect for such a shopping trip.

"Haruhime?"

"Neze Onee-sama?"

Kaguya had explained to the familia what Onee-sama meant, Haruhime was from the Far East after all. She looked up to Neze and saw her as a big sister. Haruhime often enough used far Eastern words or had problems understanding everything the others said. Kaguya then translated for her, Astrea helped a lot too. Since Astrea had enough time and wanted to understand all of her children, as well as sometimes talk with Kaguya in her mother´s tongue, she had learned the far eastern language too.

Haruhime would do her best to study Koine.

Neze didn´t mind when Haruhime called her that, but she wouldn´t use the far eastern term meant for a little sister in return. But she would treat Haruhime like a little sister and later as if she were her little sister.

"If your feet hurt or you´re getting tired say something, alright?"

"I will."

"Hehe, maybe Bell can carry you on his big backpack."

Haruhime looked curious to Bell.

Neze winked. "I´m sure you would be able to see a lot from up there."

Bell smiled. "Would you like to try?"

"Ah..ahm..."

Astrea chuckled. "Try it if you want, it is a lot of fun."

"Did you try this before?"

"Well not sitting on his backpack, but Bell let me sit on his shoulders once. But I guess you can´t do this with your kimono."

"Mmmh.."

Bell knelt down next to Haruhime, she looked up to Neze. Neze gently put her hands at Haruhime´s hip and lifted her up, letting her sit sideways on the enormous backpack.

"Woaaah!"

Haruhime was amazed at how far she could see now. She leaned a bit back and gasped when she looked up at Babel. Neze and Astrea walked on both sides of Bell now, keeping an eye on Haruhime in case she would lean too far back.

"Orario is so wonderful!"

"Jup and it gets more wonderful each day!~~" Astrea hummed happily.

When Haruhime was busy looking in a different direction, Astrea quickly leaned toward Bell and kissed him on the cheek.

"Hehe~~"

Haruhime looked down from her spot on the backpack. "Where are we heading first?"

"To the guild."

"Hm, so...finished."

The guild employee nodded satisfied, a large amount of her paperwork was now done.

"Hey, Rose."

The red-maned werewolf looked up when she heard a familiar voice.

"Neze, good morning."

"How is my awesome advisor doing this morning?" The tanned werewolf grinned.

"As usual, much to do. Do you need something?"

"Jup, we´re here to register a new member of our familia."

"Oh? And who might that be?"

Neze stepped to the side, Bell came forward and knelt, with Neze´s help, Haruhime climbed down from the backpack.

Rose just watched without saying something, then her eyes fell on Bell.

"I wish you a good morning, Lady Fannett."

"Hah...good morning, Mr. Cranel."

Rose couldn´t help but show a very slight smile, Bell was never able to get past calling her Lady Fannett, even when he called her Ms. Rose when they had a lesson together. Bell was by far Rose´s favorite male adventurer, she liked him more than a guild employee should. Astrea looked back and forth between Bell and Rose for a moment, then she chuckled.

"Lady Astrea?"

Bell called Astrea only without honorifics when they were alone.

"Nothing.~~"

Rose tried to see Haruhime, but she was too small so only her ears were visible.

"Shall we go over to the couches there? It should be more comfortable."

Neze smiled again. "That would be nice."

So they went over to an area with a few couches and a small table.

"So, you will be the new member of the Astrea familia."

"Y-Yes!" Haruhime was pretty nervous.

"Can you write Koine?"

"No..."

Neze took the sheet of paper. "I will do it for her."

Rose nodded. "Can you tell me your name?"

"Haruhime."

"And your last name?"

"I...don´t have a last name..." Her ears and the tail dropped.

Astrea told Rose with her eyes "Please don´t ask".

"Hm, but we need a last name for the records."

Neze looked at Haruhime and smiled. "Then...how about Rankett?"

The fox girl looked really happy. "Then I will have the same name as big sister Neze!"

Neze winked. "That´s the idea."

Rose raised an eyebrow. "Big sister?"

"Well, it turned out this way somehow."

"Alright then. How old are you, Haruhime?"

"Ten."

Rose slightly frowned. "You surely don´t plan to take her into the dungeon with you?"

Astrea shook her head. "No. That would be way too early. Maybe in five or six years. She will join us as a non-combatant member."

"Alright, you have received Lady Astrea´s blessing?"

"Yes."

Astrea nodded to agree.

Neze continued to write down everything necessary.

"Make sure to teach your little sister how to write Koine. If you don´t have the time or skills for that, we offer to do it at the guild."

"Does that mean you could teach her, Rose?"

"If my time allows it, but this is unlikely since I am busy with paperwork and advising adventurers."

"And what if I would take a dungeon lesson for an hour and give this time for Haruhime? I mean you´re the best advisor in the whole guild."

Rose rolled her eyes when she heard that.

Bell smiled. "I can only agree with Neze, you´re the smartest and most beautif-"

"No flirting with guild staff members."

"That wasn´t my intention...Lady Fannett."

Astrea and Neze knew this smile of Bell well enough, he really liked Rose. And Rose was much nicer to Bell than to any other male adventurer.

Rose knew she shouldn´t encourage any attempts of Bell to flirt with her. She should tell him more strictly to leave her alone, otherwise, if she followed the rules to the point, he had to get another staff member as his advisor. But Rose couldn´t, Bell was really nice and charming. She looked agitated, the young woman had short, brown hair and eyes of a similar color. The woman wore a simple dress and to Bell´s surprise, boots. Due to bumping into him, she had dropped two paper bags with vegetables.

"I´m sorry!"

"Argh, my vegetables!"

"I will pick them up!"

Bell knelt to pick the vegetables up, the hairs on his neck suddenly rose and a chill ran down his spine. The sense of an adventurer kicked in and he dashed to the side. Just barely he evaded the fist of the woman, hammering through the air where his head had been just a split-second ago.

"I said I´m sorry, I will pick them u-"

"Doryah!"

This time he couldn´t evade her, she spun around and dealt a straight kick with her left boot. The skirt of her dress whirled up and Bell saw that she wore short pants and a kind of shirt with an underside cleavage under the dress. Also...that her hands were in special gloves.

"Wah?!"

With great speed, she followed him and dealt a true barrage of punches in his direction. Her expression was grim, this woman wasn´t upset that he had bumped into her and she had dropped her vegetables due to that.

A trap?!

Bell´s hand flew to the hilt of his sword at his hip, but the woman grabbed her dress, ripped it from her body, and threw it at him to block his view. He didn´t have time to cast his magic or draw his weapon, the woman attacked him way too fast for that.

He ripped the flying dress to the side, and due to that his defense was open for a moment. Her incoming right fist got blocked by his left hand, but Bell felt just how much strength this woman had! Then came her right fist from below, aiming straight for his...crotch!

Even when he was a strong adventurer, if he got punched there with her strength, Bell didn´t know if he would be able to continue fighting. Her behavior gave it away that her purpose for being in this side alley was to attack Bell. Was she a member of Evilus? An assassin?

While he jumped backward, the only direction he could take, Bell´s adventurer perception noticed that her gloves were black. But he didn´t have time to think about it, all he could do was to react.

In the stories he read as a child, the main character would now ask why she attacked him, that he didn´t mean her any harm. But ever since he had trained in the past with Alfia and Zard, Bell understood that talking during combat was dumb and most of the time impossible. Thankfully he was able to fight hand-to-hand combat too. Alfia had trained him thoroughly and even now he often trained with Iska and Neze. Their fighting style was pretty similar, but Iska leaned a bit more into strength, while Neze preferred agility.

The woman in front of him was closer to Iska in her fighting style. There was no subtlety in her fighting style, she attacked him straight on with a barrage of punches and kicks. When Bell jumped backward again, her fist collided with the corner of a house, she punched straight through it, and a hail of splinters shot in Bell´s direction.

In contrast to what he thought earlier, the woman spoke.

"I should´ve known it wouldn´t be that easy…"

He tried to draw his sword, but she didn´t let that happen. Lunor knew very well that it could become dangerous for her if Bell was able to get his weapon out. Also, her client said that he was able to use magic. So her fighting style was perfect for that.

Attack followed attack and she never allowed him to do anything. But at the same time, Lunor got frustrated with how long this took. Normally people who relied on weapons and magic fell faster when they couldn´t use them.

But this guy was seriously strong and agile. So far all she had managed to do was grace him slightly. If she had managed to punch him in the crotch, the fight would´ve been over already. It wasn´t her favorite way to fight since it was pretty nasty. But a bounty hunter had to do what was necessary. If she didn´t, she would be dead for a long time already.

She clicked her tongue while she attacked him again, this time she had to evade one of his fists. And dear heavens was he fast! Lunor cursed in her mind, this was supposed to be her last job, and she would retire after killing this guy.

That he was pretty cute wasn´t a problem for her, not with all the secret information she got about him from her client. That he was the worst type of scum.

Apparently, he somehow managed to get into the Astrea familia, and acted like a nice guy at first, then he got information about the various members and even the goddess, blackmailing them and making them his plaything, doing all kinds of naughty things to them.

To think he could do that to even a goddess! It didn´t have to be nasty information, but something that would embarrass them. Maybe a large part of the familia swung the other way, maybe some of them were lovers of the goddess? Maybe the familia was her harem? Whatever it was, Lunor wouldn´t judge them.

But such a handsome bastard, who played around with women and forced them to do lewd things only deserved one treatment. This was also a reason why Lunor tried to explode his junk, guys like these needed both of their weapons removed.

She dealt a straight punch down and when he jumped backward, she left a crater in the ground.

Under normal circumstances, Lunor wouldn´t attack someone from the Astrea familia. After she failed her first job to kill one of the Gulliver brothers, Lunor refused all jobs to kill first-class adventurers, but with the information about Bell, there was no way she could refuse. She would free the Astrea familia from him…in case she finally managed to land a hit!

"Stay still, will ya?!"

Her next right swing collided with Bell´s left fist, he didn´t flinch. Normally this should shatter the bones in his hand or arm, but he simply continued.

Is his status that high?!

She cursed in her mind, that was why she hated to target high-level adventurers. Lunor couldn´t know that with his overall status, Bell was much stronger than her. At every level he went past the S 999 in every stat, he was just a fresh level four, only for a few weeks now, but in terms of pure numbers, he was stronger than Lunor.

But Lunor was in her element now, sadly her development ability, First Strike, didn´t work this time, since she had missed Bell. Normally this attack would have a much higher attack power than usual.

Since she didn´t use a weapon, her Skill Fist-Fighter Rank F, went all out. It increased her attack power as long as she used her fists to fight, kicking was just a way to interrupt the opponent.

Crush increased the destructive power of her attacks. But a special skill that she got a while ago was the strongest she had.

Chain Attack.

As long as she kept dealing blow after blow, Lunor´s hits got more destructive with every attack. Sadly, when she stopped for a moment or had to defend herself, the bonus fell to zero again and she had to start anew.

She cursed in her mind, even without drawing his sword, this man was an opponent too strong to get overwhelmed easily.

And then the expression on his face, he wasn´t some naive kid, this young man was a warrior. He didn´t try to convince her to stop attacking him. This would have created an opening that Lunor knew how to use.

Bell´s best chance would be to overwhelm her, pin her down, and then force her to listen to him and talk. If she was an Evilus member, he would hand her over to the Ganesha familia.
Both were mostly equal at the moment since he wasn´t a pro like her when it came to fighting without a weapon. But Bell had his magic, in case he would be able to use it, this fight would end pretty fast.

But with the houses nearby, he couldn´t do it, otherwise, a catastrophe might happen and innocent people get hurt or die. This woman had chosen the spot to attack him wisely. She probably followed him ever since he left Babel.

But he also had another problem. He hadn´t calmed down after the moment with Tsubaki, Bell was still rock hard and it got in the way of fighting. Not even Zeus would´ve laughed at this situation, there was nothing funny to it.

She dashed forward and attacked him again, her punches got fired as if they were whips. Bell saw now one thing clearly, this woman was above the fighting skills of Neze and Iska when it came to her fists. Both of his lovers also used their feet in a balanced fighting style, the woman in front of him was a brawler.

When Bell moved to the side, it looked like she slipped, but she placed both of her hands on the ground, moved her lower body up, and kicked repeatedly with both legs in turns. These leg kicks came pretty fast but were not as strong and dangerous as her punches. But since they were so fast, she could build up Chain Attack faster this way.

"Dooryaa!"

Her momentum was perfect as she jumped at him again, attacking him faster this time. Lunor started to squeeze out all she had to overwhelm him. One good hit at the head or his crotch and it could be over. But since Bell was so strong, this moment just didn´t come. Alone she would have no chance to end this quickly.

But then Lunor got lucky…or unlucky, depending on the point of view.

When Bell moved backward again, a shadow fell from above and Lunor saw something flashing silvery.

"Wah?!-Ack!"

Bell staggered forward and right into Lunor´s fist, which collided with his left cheek, hammering his head to the side. His head rammed into the corner of a house…cracking the stone. An adventurer´s skull was harder than simple stone.

Lunor was too perplexed for a moment and didn´t follow Bell immediately.

"Nyufufu~~~"

A young woman was standing there. She wore black boots, black socks, short pants, a black shirt, and a small cape, which also covered her head. Behind her moved a black cat tail and the hood was formed in a way to give room for two cat ears.

"Sorry for butting in, Meow.~~"

Lunor and the woman locked eyes.

"You´re, Black Cat?!"

"And meow guesses you´re Black Fist?"

"Why are you here?!"

Chloe nodded to Bell.

"Booty…I mean Bounty hunting."

"He is my prey!"

Chloe shrugged her shoulders.

"Double contract, nyou know the rules, Nya."

"Keep out of this, stupid cat!"

"Meow!"

Chloe raised her curved dagger, there was a strange color to the tip.

"Poison?!"

"Nyufufu~~~ He shouldn´t move anymorrrre, Meow."

Before Lunor could react, a red glow came from the side. Lunor and Chloe didn´t have time to think, only throw themself out of the way as fast as possible.

"Firebolt!"

Bell had aimed from the ground to the sky, now he dashed forward, finally with his sword in hand.

"Meow?! Why can nyou m-Hiiii!"

Right now Bell wasn´t a gentleman, he didn´t let Chloe finish her question. His back felt warm, hot even, but even the poison that Chloe had used with her dagger got canceled by his Abnormal Resistance.

Zeus had laughed when Bell developed this skill, it came mostly because Alfia had cared so much about Bell, had loved him with all her heart, and did her best to make him healthy meals. Mama Dragon had cared the world for her sister´s son, her super cute nephew.

Chloe was surprised for a moment, that Bell was able to move, his expression looked grim. She managed to block his sword with her dagger, but a tiny piece got chipped out of her blade. Whatever Bell´s sword was made of, it was stronger than Chloe´s dagger.

"We will settle this, Bounty Hunter style!"

Lunor charged in again and dealt a punch at Bell. Both bounty hunters felt by instinct that Bell was too strong for each of them alone. So they would at first kill him, then go for each other, and the winner would claim the prize. As well as any possible bounty on the other´s head.

Such was the life of a Bounty Hunter.

And Chloe was sick of it, this wasn´t that fun anymore. All she wanted was a harem of cute boys, getting pampered all day, and doing with them what she wanted, even naughty stuff!

So she was furious at Lunor for getting ahead of her….and even more because of Bell. How could such a charming cutie pie dare to be such a piece of shit, play around with women, and force them to follow his will! According to her client, he had somehow control over the Astrea familia, and even forced the goddess to do what he wanted.

Chloe bet he knew an embarrassing secret about them, her first guess was the Astrea familia was Astrea´s harem, that the goddess loved to play around with the girls there, despite being known as a virgin goddess.

There was a good reason why someone would try to keep this a secret in Orario. In case the Stardust Garden was a large Yuri garden, all the gods in Orario would be all over the moon and get interested in all members of the familia, hoping to see something good.

Chloe couldn´t forgive Bell for that, not because of the Astrea familia…

But that such a cute boy was a jerk and a fiend! Someone like her would be the perfect member of her harem! When she had watched their fight from above, Chloe had seen what a fine behind Bell had!

And when she came down to slice his back, her eyes were glued to his butt! Because of that, she had groped his butt with her left hand while she used the dagger with her right hand.

Now neither Bell nor Lunor could see something.

Lunor cursed in her mind, pulled her scarf up to block the smoke, and continued to attack Bell. Thankfully, as a level four, her eyes didn´t burn because of the smoke.

But the smoke helped her a bit too, she got close to Bell and hammered her fist at him. All he could do was block the fist with his hand, while he noticed a swift movement to his right side. A dagger flashed out of the smoke, Bell hacked with his sword, right through the dagger and the body behind it, both dissolved into nothing.

""Wah?!""

Bell felt a sharp pain and an airy feeling before he felt direct skin contact. Chloe had used her dagger to slice his pants from behind, dealing a shallow cut, then she groped his left butt cheek directly.

She wanted to kill him, but that meant she had to take responsibility to rob this world of such an awesome butt. Which meant she had to grope and fondle it all over! Thanks to the muscle-brain fighting Bell head-on, Chloe had enough time to harass Bell.

And in a way, she paid him back for all the time he had harassed the familia of justice, which was in a way justice itself!

"Nfufufu~~-Meow?!"

Chloe shrieked when an explosion happened in front of her, Lunor got catapulted backward. Bell managed to get his hand free, punched at Lunor´s stomach, and unleashed his magic. This wouldn´t kill an opponent like Lunor, not even getting close to hurting her seriously, but it gave him time.

When Bell whirled around, Chloe´s dagger was still close to his pants, as was her hand. With a ripping sound, she destroyed most of his pants. Which didn´t stop him at all, Bell was now furious, mostly because of the sexual harassment.

"Cut it out!"

With a furious expression, Bell charged at Chloe.

"Unya?!"

He understood pretty fast that the other Chloes were just illusions.

How does he know that I´m the real one?!

Bell used his full sword skills to attack Chloe, she clicked her tongue and went head-on. Even when she attacked as an assassin normally, she knew how to hold her ground against such an opponent. And she knew that Lunor would soon attack Bell again.

Chloe´s ears twitched when she heard Lunor cracking her knuckles.

"You start to really piss me off, I´m gonna kill you now!"

Lunor charged at them again, Chloe managed to avoid Bell´s sword thanks to her Escape skill. She had noticed a while ago, that not only it increased her speed when she ran away, which had come in handy after she tried to assassinate Shakti Varma, but also increased her speed whenever she tried to evade an attack, apparently this counted as "running away" too.

While she evaded, Chloe´s eyes flashed all over Bell´s body to look for an opening or a weak spot, his pants were in tatters, so…

Why does he have a boner, Meow?!

Startled, Chloe was a bit too slow to evade this time, Bell hacked the dagger out of her hand. To her luck, Lunor barged in, so she could get her dagger again. Not that it would have been easy for him to use this moment to knock Chloe out, she was too fast and nimble for that.

As long as there were two opponents, Bell would lose.

But Chloe and Lunor knew that their time was running out, an attack right in the city wouldn´t remain unnoticed.

Chloe grabbed her dagger and jumped up again, an attack from both sides at once could be fatal. This time she wouldn´t slice Bell, this time she would ram her dagger into his back, right into his heart. She bared her teeth as she jumped up.

Lunor came from the front, all her strength gathered in her fists.

Both Bounty Hunters were too focused on their target to notice the figure coming from above.

A rage-filled scream in the last second was the only warning they would get before a boot hammered down on Lunor´s back and smashed her to the ground. If Lunor had a lower level, this boot would have shattered her spine.

The boot followed a tanned leg, short pants, a very short top, and the rest of a beige-haired, tanned werewolf. Neze howled like a true wolf, her eyes flashed, almost golden with her anger.

The impact hammered Lunor to the side and into a pile of garbage, while it threw Chloe backwards.

"Neze?!"

"Bell!"

Both whirled around and stood back to back, each facing one of the assassins.

"I was looking for you since you took so long."

"Thanks!"

Among the others, not one could hope to find Bell as easily as Neze did. Of course, Ryu and Celty had fine ears, but with too many noises around it would be hard to identify Bell.

But for Neze it was different, she had good ears too, but her nose was exceptional. She was a werewolf after all. And her senses were focussed on Bell, since he took a special place in her heart.

Bell was her mate.

Some races had different names for their beloveds. For elves, it was their partners, for humans, dwarves, and pallums it would be the husband. But for beast people like Neze, their partner became their mate.

And their mate was everything for them. Just like Zeus told Bell, but he never truly believed until he met Neze, every werewolf changed when they found a mate, men and women alike.

Neze had revealed everything to Bell, her body, her love, her emotions, and everything she was. Each day one of the first things she did when they didn´t sleep together, was to hug him, and slightly rub against him to make sure her scent was on his body. It was an instinct that forced her to do it since he was her mate. This would tell every other beast person that Bell belonged to her.

Neze had accepted that Bell loved the whole familia, and she was fine with that. But her instinct remained. This scent had driven Chloe even further, believing he had played around with a werewolf before, that he was a good-for-nothing Gigolo. But this scent also helped Neze to find Bell more easily.

His natural scent was unique for Neze, she could find Bell easily one district of Orario away. Among all beast people, werewolves had the finest noses.

Kaguya had once joked when it came to Bell, Neze was the hunting dog of the familia, which made Neze very upset. She had growled and told Kaguya she was a wolf and not a dog.

The others were perplexed that this was what upset Neze. She was proud of being able to locate her mate so easily. It was born from her desire to be close to him. And even when Bell used his Mirror Image spell, she could tell which was the real one by his scent alone, out of her whole familia, she was the only one who could do that.

And when she heard the noises of a fight, smelling her mate at that exact location, Neze fell into a small frenzy.

Her mate was in danger!

As his mate, it was her duty to be close to him and help him. So Neze had moved with all her great speed of an upper-level three adventurer, she was close to level up to four.

She smelled the dust and smoke before she saw it, the whole side alley was covered in it, which didn´t stop her at all. A werewolf didn´t need eyes to find prey, ears and nose were enough.

And she came at the perfect moment, immediately attacking one of the assassins.

While Bell charged at Chloe, Neze roared in fury and went all out on Lunor. That Bell had problems with both at once told Neze that they were at least as strong as her, maybe even level four.

Under normal circumstances, Neze would be too weak to face Lunor, but her fury had activated a skill of hers. When Neze got angry, this skill allowed her to fall into a slight beastification. Not even close to being as strong as when the full moon was up in the sky, but it gave her a boost.

This was further increased when Bell was in danger, the name of the skill was "Mate´s call". Lyra and Kaguya had of course tried to joke about this, how openly Neze showed how much she loved Bell, her answer was simple.

"So what? He´s my mate."

She didn´t need to say more, her mate was her everything, forever. This also gave Neze a new reason for her usual battle garment. It gave her all the freedom to move that she needed, but now it also felt nice when Bell looked at her, to feel his eyes on her body.

And now that her mate fought back-to-back with her, Neze felt happy.

Lunor groaned in pain from Neze´s sudden attack and looked up in anger. In front of her, the werewolf´s mane looked pretty wild, her ears were perked up and the tail was almost stiff. Neze´s canines had grown slightly and she held her hands a bit like claws.

Lunor had only heard about the beastification of werewolves but had never seen it herself.

Their firsts collided more than one time and while Lunor was stronger, Neze didn´t give in one bit. Her mate was in danger!

Thankfully now, Bell could focus on Chloe, the cat woman gritting her teeth, maybe it was time to run away.

Both, Lunor and Chloe, were confused as to why Neze even came to help Bell. This would be the perfect opportunity to get rid of him!

Lunor went all in, she would knock Neze out of the way if she had to. This was her perfect chance to finally end this life as a Bounty Hunter and settle down!

Sixty million Vals were on Bell´s head! There was no way any of them would let this getaway!

The following fight got intense, but Neze wasn´t as strong as Lunor, even in her slight beastification.

When Bell heard a certain noise behind him, his heart clenched in fear. It was Neze´s pain-filled scream when Lunor punched into the side of her waist, then dealt an Uppercut.

He glanced over his shoulder, and at that moment came Chloe´s dagger from the front and stabbed into his right shoulder.

Bell screamed and dropped his sword, Lunor charged at him from behind, her fist raised, just as Chloe ripped her dagger out and went to attack again.

Deep in Bell´s mind, opened the void. His inner eye looked deep into the Abyss of Hades, the Underworld.

There he saw the floating figure of his One-Winged-Angel, curled up, the arms around the knees, as if she was sleeping. It always took at least a week to recover when the angel appeared to save him. So right now, she couldn´t come.

And something inside Bell didn´t want her to come, she would slaughter both of his attackers without mercy. He didn´t want them dead, Bell wanted answers and then let Astrea judge them, it was the way of his familia, the way of Justice.

When she appeared for the first time, it was as if Bell stared into the realm of the dead and something there stared back at him, it had been this angel.

But when he used the other form of this magic, to summon the Avatar of Zeus familia, it was as if the Abyss itself was staring back.

Behind the angel was movement, like an endless ocean, it wasn´t darkness, the sea of souls had a slightly green-blue color. But the reason why it was so dark, was because there was something in that sea.

Two eyes opened suddenly in the deep, each of the eyes was bigger than his beloved angel.

He heard something rumble…and the darkness grew. That something beneath the waves of the sea of souls inside Hades…came up to the surface.

Bell had only once used his magic spell to summon this legend, what happened then was the reason why he was forbidden from using it, since he couldn´t control it.

But just like the Angel of Death, it had a trigger on its own. The Angel appeared when Bell´s life was in grave danger.

The other legend appeared when one of his lovers was in danger.

And just like the angel, it consumed most of his mental strength.

Neze groaned and tried to hold herself up, Lunor came closer again and raised her fists.

Then she heard it.

The sound. The noise.

Only once did she hear it before, but hearing it again was enough to let goosebumps run down her spine.

She knew what would happen now, Neze gathered all of her strength and jumped upwards with a scream of pain, holding her waist.

Lunor and Chloe looked perplexed up when Neze fled, both believed that the story about Bell was true and that Neze would now use the chance to flee and let Bell get killed.

Bell didn´t move, both charged at him.

A portal appeared in front of Bell, another behind him. Just like with the Angel of Death, Avatar of the Hera familia, these portals had a different color than his usual golden ones.

The Angel´s portal was black, these portals were grey like the stormy sea or maybe the sky before a thunderstorm got unleashed.

Chloe yelled out in pain when a thunderclap echoed through the side alley, Neze had covered her sensitive ears before that happened, even Lunor grit her teeth. Both tried to be fast since Bell obviously used magic.

But it was too late.

They didn´t get a warning, just as Lunor tried to jump the last bit, something suddenly touched her ankle and ripped her backward.

"Nah?!"

"Unya?!"

Chloe too got pulled back, it was painful since something had grabbed her tail. Due to the portals in front of them, their view got blocked and they couldn´t see that portals also opened behind them.

And then…on each side.

Four portals appeared around each of them. Lunor looked down to see what had grabbed her, she yelped out in shock.

It was a tentacle. A tentacle arm with suction cups.

"What the–Iargh!"

Lunor got ripped backward to the portal behind her, she tried to turn and punch into the tentacle, but suddenly her right arm got pulled to the side. A second tentacle had come out of this portal, and soon her left arm was also caught. The only thing left was her left leg, but that changed immediately. Four strong tentacles curled around her arms and legs and pulled them to the sides so that she couldn´t move anymore.

Dear heavens, these tentacles were insanely strong!

Chloe couldn´t escape too, she had managed to slice at one of the tentacles with her dagger, but a second shot out of a side portal, slapped her hand hard so that she dropped the dagger. Now she also hung in the air, her limbs caught by the tentacles.

And the tentacles didn´t stop after they caught them, they curled more around their limbs and crawled towards their bodies.

"Meeeeoooooow! So slimyyyyyy!"

"Argh! Unhand me! That´s disgus–Mf!"

Lunor couldn´t end her sentence. The tentacle around her right arm shot forward and the tip got buried in her mouth, silencing her. The one on the left side crawled to her already very light top, dove from below into her underside cleavage upward, and ripped the shirt apart, exposing her breasts.

"Mmmmmf! Mfff! Mmmmm!"

Lunor shivered and tried to break free with all her strength, the feeling of getting groped all over was beyond disgusting! The two tentacles around her legs crawled up too, thankfully they didn´t go into her pants. It felt like the tentacles tried to rip her arms and legs out!

Chloe on the other hand screamed loud and meowed for help, a help that would never come. She got silenced quickly in the same way as Lunor. For a cat person, this feeling was even more disgusting. The mucus that covered the tentacles got into her hair and fur on her tail and ears. The tentacle around her left leg had moved along her knee, then the thigh, in the middle, and rubbed along her crotch onto the backside and there around her tail, up to the tip.

Now she was the one who got harassed, and much worse than she had molested Bell.

Neze knew this would happen when she heard the sound and saw the first portals appearing.

When Bell got the two new versions of his magic, to summon the Avatars who represented the legends of the Zeus and Hera familias, he called this Avatar first.

He didn´t know what would happen, so all of them got confused when more than one portal appeared. Bell didn´t have control over this version, it just did what it wanted.

When all eight portals were there, four tentacles shot out and went directly for Astrea. The goddess was too surprised to react, so she couldn´t run away in time. The four tentacles went for her limbs, and then her body groped her all over and tore her dress apart.

One tentacle went for Alise, another for Maryu, one was after Celty and the last one crawled towards Ryu.

The Astrea familia had screamed in rage and horror when they saw their beloved goddess getting defiled!

All of them attacked this magic spell, Kaguya screamed at Bell to end the magic by force. It was a bit complicated, but Bell managed to seal the magic spell just before Astrea got completely stripped. This was the reason why his familia was upset with him for the first and only time.

Astrea wasn´t angry, she forgave him since he didn´t know what would happen. Still, for two days, Bell fulfilled every single wish that Astrea had, no matter what it was.

After they saw the magic again, they guessed it had something to do with Zeus´ nature, that was why the tentacles appeared and went to grope and fondle women all over.

Bell was deeply ashamed that he could summon something like this. It seemed to be a very lewd and naughty spell.

Until they saw what happened next, then not one of them laughed anymore. Thankfully when he tested it the second time, this time no one of the others got groped, the tentacles just waved around and looked for something to grab, as soon as they had something, the second stage of the magic spell came.

Lunor and Chloe tried to scream, Neze watched in horror and held her distance. The only problem she currently had was her worry about her mate, nothing more.

Eventually, both Bounty Hunters got pulled towards a single spot.

A portal that was far bigger than the other eight appeared on the ground, with a diameter of easily twenty meters.

It opened and a surface of water appeared, moving as if there was rough weather. Lunor and Chloe got carried to the water and hung above it, not being able to move. Their eyes widened in horror and fear as something dark came out of the deep. The scenery around them changed, it was just an illusion but it looked like they were out in the wide ocean, only water surrounding them. The shadow grew and grew, becoming much larger than any ship.

And when it broke out of the surface of the water, Chloe and Lunor tried to scream in fear, they screamed into the tentacle tips in their mouths, which forced their jaws open.

What appeared was the head of a creature so gigantic, that many people heard about its legend in the past.

The Kraken!

This was the Avatar of the Zeus familia´s legend. Not one Kraken, but THE Kraken. The mythic beast that was said to be the pet of Poseidon, created in the past by Hades, a gift for his brother to fight the Titans. And it was said that this beast was so destructive, that Poseidon never unleashed it without Zeus ordering it first.

Three aspects made this beast the Avatar of the Zeus familia.

1. It´s power that no one can fight against.
2. The sexual harassment that Zeus was known for…

And the third aspect came from Bell´s "uncle" Zard.

Both women cried and screamed in fear, their dignity and pride shattered as the Kraken opened its titanic maw and brought them closer to it with its tentacles.

3. The endless hunger and desire of Gluttony

Lunor and Chloe squirmed and almost went mad as they got pulled above the maw.

In this moment Bell was finally able to seal the magic and send the Avatar back into the depths of Hades´ Abyss, where it could sleep again.

Chloe and Lunor fell towards the maw and it dissolved into light, which vanished, just before they fell into it. The illusion of the sea ended, and the ruined side alley returned. Both Bounty Hunters hit the ground and lay there. Since the tentacles in their mouths were gone, both could cry out now. Thankfully, both always used the toilet before they went for a job, otherwise, both would have probably lost the fight against their bladders by now.

Both cried heavily and shook from fear.

Bell staggered, Neze landed right next to him and put her hands on his arms.

"Are you badly hurt, my mate?"

Bell smiled wryly. "Don´t worry, it doesn´t hurt much."

"I´m glad that you´re safe."

Neze looked with murderous intent in her eyes at the two crying women. Their clothes were torn, Lunor held her hands in front of her breasts, Chloe tried to hold her pants together.

"Let´s arrest them."

Bell nodded. "I agree with you, my mate."

Neze´s eyes flashed for a moment, she loved it when Bell called her that. Not caring about his wounded shoulder for a moment, she went closer and kissed him with hunger.

After the kiss, Bell walked towards them, followed by Neze.

And exactly then, came the first people, alarmed by the fight.

It was a blue-haired goddess with green eyes, holding a sword in her right hand, followed by her followers.

"What hap–...What by the heavens is happening here?!"

All that Artemis saw in the first moment, were the two crying women on the ground, covered in strange mucus, their clothes torn. And Bell, who walked towards them, without pants, only wearing slightly torn underwear.

"Arrest this man!"

"" What?!""

Bell and Neze had a lot to explain to Artemis and her familia. Thankfully, as a goddess, Artemis could tell that both spoke the truth. So they helped them to arrest Lunor and Chloe, who were still crying in shock and fear, not able to resist in any way.

The question was, which fate would await them now?

It would be Astrea´s responsibility to judge them…and her familia wouldn´t give their prisoners a warm welcome.

To Bell´s great luck, another woman appeared shortly after the Artemis familia, she had flaming red hair and possessed healing magic, even when she was currently more a warrior. Bell didn´t belong to her familia, but when she saw that he was wounded, she still healed him.

Bell groaned when the healing magic did its work and the pain vanished.

"You´re, Heith Velvet, from Lady Freya´s familia, right?"

"Yes, we met each other before."

"You have my thanks, Lady Velvet."

"No need, Lady Freya send me here, she is waiting for me at the main street, now excuse me."

This wouldn´t be the last time that Bell met Heith and both would grow much closer in the future.

When Heith returned to the main street, Freya waited there for her with a smile.

"Did everything go well?"
