Lyon Alexandre Laurent, a six year old Siberian wolf dog, has encountered loss, and heartache. Believing he is doomed for a lonely life, he goes through a series of trials and events in his youth to know that he is never alone. He knows what it is like to be adopted in a loving household, and learns what it is like to feel emotions again.

29. Hiatus Announcement

Greetings, just to let you know this is not a new chapter but more of an author's announcement. As the title implies, I am putting this story on a short hiatus until further notice because I recently started university again, and it is also my last semester of college before graduating with my bachelor's degree. So, it is possible I will be spending more time focusing on my assignments because I want to make the most out of this semester by working ahead with my class assignments and exams. Also, my fourth class will be an 8-week course on the second half of the semester so those classes will go on faster than an average 16 week course. I want to do my best to make it to the finish line and move on to the next chapter of my life by moving on from my old job, focus on job search for my intended career, and hopefully plan for a possible vacation in summer if all possible. It's just one of those "adulting" moments that I must attend to since anyone can have responsibilities and try not to shirk them. However, just a gentle reminder that I have not forgot about my readers nor the story of Lyon, and hopefully this message will reassure you guys I am not going anywhere. So, I thank you for taking this moment to read this announcement with understanding. I'm still working on the chapter between Frisky and Radley's dinner night out, but I'll try to write a bit by bit sometime later in March. Maybe sooner depending on how far I am getting my classwork done earlier, and whatever life events come into my life. Between classes, personal responsibilities, planning for graduation, finding places to take photos for graduation, etc., I have a lot on my plate. Another note that it has been a year since I've started writing this story on January 3 in case anyone hasn't noticed. I can't believe it has been that long since developing my Bluey OC, and his journey. Time has its way to go on so fast.

Thank you for being understanding, and I hope you will continue to support my writing. Also, please don't hesitate to add reviews. I'm eager to read some feedback and find better ways to improve future chapters as I move along. I've realized I need to strike a balance between sad and happy chapters over Lyon's life after reflecting on what I have written thus far in order to get through the climax and conclusion so I hope to better my writing.
