This is my first Sonic, Tom, Maddie hurt/comfort fanfiction. This takes place in the Sonic The Hedgehog movie universe.
Today, Sonic was sitting on his bed in his room crying and feeling sad because he was missing his guardian Longclaw and looking at a picture with the 2 of them.
"Oh, Longclaw, I miss you so much. Why did you have to leave me so unexpectedly?" Sonic said tearfully.
Tom and Sonic were walking by but heard Sonic in the room crying, and the two of them gave Sonic a sympathetic look and came in to comfort him.
"Sonic?" said Tom. "Hey Sonic, what's wrong?" Maddie asked sympathetically. "I miss Longclaw so much," Sonic said tearfully.
"Aw buddy, come here, I know how much you miss her," Tom said sympathetically. "Every day, I see this picture of me and Longclaw, and today it just hit me out of nowhere," Sonic explained tearfully.
Tom and Maddie then pulled Sonic into a hug, letting him cry as much as he needed needed, and he started crying worse. It hurt to see Sonic so sad, but Tom and Maddie knew they had to do something and had an idea to cheer up Sonic and make him happy.
"Want to go out and get ice cream?" Tom and Maddie asked enthusiastically. "Yes, I do," Sonic said, feeling better but still had tears running down.
