After many hours of losing, and almost giving up as no matter what she couldn't win any of the card games, (what she didn't know was that both men were cheating) a pout almost permanent on her face but determination to win at least one game of cards overpowering all common sense, making her tunnel vision on the pictured cards resting in her hands.

It was much to the amusement of both illumi and Hisoka seeming her determination at winning and the fact she had completely blanked the other would-be hunters that had entered after them. Even the group of five that had finally gotten to the bottom of the tower just before the timers ended.

Yes, they had been awake and playing for that long.

Both Hisoka and illumi could feel a sapphire blue pair of eyes on them – particularly on kyriak who was obvious to the world.

"I win again~" purred Hisoka dropping his cards down. Noting the boy finally plucking up the courage and slowly walking over to them, the little group silently protesting, but still walking towards them nevertheless.

Kyriak pouted, "I don't like this game! Why can't I win?!" She throws the cards down, letting them join the pile. "I don't get it!" she frowned looking at her fellow red head of a different shade. "What do you do differently?"

Hisoka smiled, "Why cheat of course"

Kyriak froze, the words striking a chord within. If she could have turned into stone in surprise she would have before crumbing as something awoke.

"Cheating..." she began to mumbled, "that's... that not in the rules... that's not fair" her frown deepened. Hisoka smirked in surprise at her reaction glancing at his blank face friend, he could feel something growing darker from the child, was it Nen?

"You..."

"kyriak!" killua called, tapping her shoulder.

"killua!" she jumped to her feet, pointing a finger at the magician, "he admitted to cheating at cards!"

Killua looked between the girl, cards and Hisoka. Before rolling his eyes, "lots of people cheat at cards, part of the game, I think. Come on," he stated blankly, grabbing her hand pulling the confused girl along.

"But-but..." kyriak protested, "it's not fair..."

Hisoka watched with growing amusement, at the young pair of preteens, "what interesting fruits~ almost ripe to eat" he glanced towards illumi, "you fine someone interesting then?"

"it's to be determined"

"I'msurprised she could understand your grunts and clicks. Why didn't you just talk?"

"She asks too many questions"

"And the needle"

"needed a way to track her"

"ahhhhh. Must say you did look like a father carrying her in, you think I could be the mother~" the red head teased smiling Wildy, tilting his head out of the way a pin thrown towards him. Hisoka chuckled, golden hues glancing towards the doorway opening to the outside world.

Meanwhile with kyriak.

"Baka!" leorio scolded, "what were you doing with Hisoka! That man in dangerous!"

"Dangerous?" she questioned, "he'd been nothing but nice to me. Shown me how to play cards but apparently, he was cheating" she sulked.

"you're not going to let that go, are you?" killua questioned shaking his head.

"He shown you how to play cards? Nothing else?" kurapika asked concerned lacing his voice.

"Yup it was a game! Though I didn't win, he cheated it's not fair" she nodded, "maybe I shall take making cards of the list, but I really wanna make the weapons for him..."

The group blinked, the image of Hisoka with weaponised playing cards entering their heads. How much worse would the man be!?

"NO! You need to stay away from him, okay? He super dangerous" leorio stated pointing towards him, "he scary and probably wants to kill you"

"But he was nice to me?" she tilted her head, "and he did that magician trick at the start of the exam! Magicians are nice"

"Shes as dense as gon.."

"Hey!"

"And leorio..."

"Hey!"

"kyriak you do realise the man lose his arms, right?"

"And?"

"Congratulations to all of you for exiting the tower! You have only two more trails: the fourth and final round" a voice broke though the groups argument. Everyone looked up towards the hunter standing ahead of them. The owner of the tower.

Kyriak blinked, looking at the glasses wearing man. "The fourth round will take place on zebru's island." the hunters clicked his fingers, "well! Let's hurry..."

A box appeared, with a slot on the top big enough to pick the hand in.

"a lottery?

"What that for?"

Voices murmured from around her, she glanced about in confusion. A lottery? For an exam...

The hunter smirk, hearing the comments, "this lottery... is to determine the hunters and the prey"

The words sunk in, clicked into place in her mind, they were playing cat and mouse. A grin spread wildly across her face.

"Inside the box. There are 26 numbered cards. These numbers are just the ones that were given to you in the beginning of the competition. You will all pick a card" the hunter exclaimed, called up Hisoka 44, up to the stand as he finished first.

She (350) followed up with gittarackur 301 the pair going at the same time having gotten to the bottom at the same time. The other in the group gasped in surprised realising she got down fast and with someone – who to them looked creepy enough to be dangerous as well as the fact the man had been sitting with Hisoka, rung some alarm bells. "Hello again!" she waved, meeting the man covered in pins at the lottery box.

She got a grunt in respond.

"I know! Why don't you go first! You gave me a lift!" she grinned, earning another grunt in respond and then a few clicking sounds.

Gitturackur when first getting his card while she rocked on her heels, hair swaging as she did so. Gitturackur relived two cards, holding them out for her. She blinked, sliver hues going wide as gitturackur showed her both cards giving her the option.

She grinned picking one, before clutching onto his spare hand pulling him back towards the wannabe hunters.

She was defiantly going to make the man some fancy pins. How can he be dangerous and a meanie if he was being nice to her?

When everyone got their cards, the glasses wearing hunter gave them the que to speal off the seal and reveal the number. Kyriak blinked stared at the number. Brows furrowed in concentration trying to remember if she had seen the number on the cards before...

She couldn'tremember.

The number on the card was 222.

She zoned out of the rest of the hunters speech (luckily she had killua explained while traveling on the boat, that she either had to get the card 222 form the person dead or alive or three other random cards)

Which lead up to the moment of our dear kyriak wandering about the island, lost and unsure how to go about finding her would be target.
