"Dude, that's not an answer." Sonic said, waiting for him to answer where his sister went.

"Sorry. I have no idea either. Ever since I woke up, Tania is gone. I can tell she broke out in search of the doctor." Elias explained.

Amy and Tails are on guard, knowing Elias is raising his sword in front of them.

As Elias grabs Sonic's arm, alerting Tails and Amy to rush towards Sonic as they thought he's about to get hurt.

"Sonic!" Tails and Amy yelled.

"Chaos Control." Elias finally speaks out.

Flash!

The world comes to a halt, causing Sonic to jump backwards, witnessing Tails and Amy frozen in time as Sonic sees Elias being the only one moving in a frozen time and space.

"Sonic the Hedgehog. En garde." Elias raises his sword towards Sonic himself.

"What? You're acting as my sister's guard dog? Hmph! Bring it!" Sonic grins while charging his running speed while spinning his legs.

Sonic dashes forward and then slides to trip Elias up, only for Elias to jump and slash the ground as he misses Sonic's speed reaction.

Turning around, Elias blocks Sonic's kick and then kicks back while letting Sonic stand on his feet.

Hopping while preparing himself, Sonic zooms at the speed of sound, making Elias ditch the sword and block Sonic's fist and kicks, even Sonic did the same, leading to Sonic himself to spin dash as Elias dodge and avoid the rolling quill ball.

Elias successfully kicks Sonic as Sonic rolls and then lies down, grunting as Elias is approaching Sonic with a sword, leading to Sonic catching a glimpse at a sickle that came from a broken Slicer.

Swinging his Blade down, Elias has found out that Sonic immediately blocked the sword while trying to avoid being killed.

As much as Elias tried to beat the hedgehog, he was caught off guard, giving Sonic the chance to slash the sickle horizontally.

One slash.

Elias gasps as he drops his sword, making the world flash as Chaos Control hits the 2 of them.

Kingdom of Acorn?

Opening his eyes, Elias is finding himself on the castle rooftop, surprised that he was beaten by a fresh face that appears to be a child.

"Nicky…" Elias whispers while closing his eyes calmly and looks at his own stomach that is unscathed.

"Huh!? Where am I!? Eggman! Did you use your dumb gadget thingymajigs on me!?" Yelling to his right is none other than Tania herself,making her turn towards Elias with surprise. "Big brother Eli? You're alive!?"

"Obviously. It seems Dr. Eggman's hiding from you, huh?"

Tania stops and then looks at Elias as she sits down next to him.

"I saw your brother." Said Elias.

"Wait, you did?" Tania is surprised that Elias actually came across Nicky.

"Yeah. He's truly something else. I remember hearing that he finished off Metal Sonic and destroyed a lot of Eggman's mechs. Turns out there is a Sonic the Hedgehog. Nicky is the true Sonic." Elias explains while looking up at the sky.

"You mean big brother is…"

"Yeah. You may not know the appearance, but I can guarantee you that he changed a lot more than you think." Elias pointed out.

Tania is surprised by what her brother has done after their split, making her jealous that he gets all the fun.

"There is no Sonic." Tania said, surprising Elias after saying that. "The truth is… He's only a fairytale written by a human. That's because Nicky is him. Nicky is Nicky, a good boy who wants to go on adventures."

In Elias' case, Tania believes that Sonic is just a nickname for Nicky, showing that he's the fastest thing alive.

He smiles while looking at Tania.

"Hey, kid. Nicky… Sonic is looking for you."

Tania is seeing her bracelets glowing as well as Elias', making her look at him with worry.

"It's okay. Our bond will never be broken." Elias pats Tania's head, realising his body is releasing blue light.

"Mm. I hope you and big sis are safe." Tania said while looking down.

"Tania. I'm glad you're my little sister." Elias smiles while fading.

"Yeah. I'm glad to have a big brother like you, Elias." Tania shows a warm smile as tears are dropping from her eyes.

In the end, Tania and Elias fist bumps as the Kingdom of Acorn fades into nothingness.

Metropolis

Back in the city as Chaos Control is no longer, Amy and Tails collapse as they yell, leading to Sonic watching Elias walking past him and smiling towards him.

"Elias…"

"Your sister's waiting for you." Elias concludes as he leaves Sonic, Tails and Amy, only for Sonic to stare at him calmly.

"Yeah. Sally's also waiting for you." Sonic said quietly, knowing that Elias missed his family.

Amy and Tails approach Sonic, confused that he and Elias are at peace after the use of Chaos Control.

"Sonic? What's going on?" Amy asked.

Sonic shakes his head as he's focusing on Eggman's factory.

"Tails, Amy. Let's go." Sonic grabs Tails and Amy by the wrists and then zooms inside the factory.

Behind, Elias is seeing a fairytale coming true, knowing that Sonic is going to save Tania, his close friend and Sonic's sibling.

"Good luck, Sonic the Hedgehog."

Inside the factory, the robots are being bulldozed with Amy swinging her hammer and Tails spins his tails like a helicopter while Sonic holds them like his weapons.

"GANG WAY!" Amy yelled.

"Sonic! We're almost there!" Tails shouts.

"Then lead the way, little bro!" Sonic lifts Tails up, leading to Tails carrying Sonic and Amy upwards and tossing them into the gears as Sonic and Amy leap into another one while Tails flies upwards.

At the top, Sonic, Tails and Amy are charging together as they yell, creating destruction as the trio moves forward.

In a large computer room, Eggman is witnessing 3 children barging through and damaging his factory, making him growl after Agent Stone failed his mission.

"Curse you, Sonic! You never know when to quit!" Eggman shouts, pointing at Scratch and Grounder as well as a buzzsaw robot hedgehog from Japan. "Scratch, Grounder! Get Silver Sonic prepared! We're taking him to the Death Egg! As for the little brats, I want you two to kill them at once before they get their hands on the chaos emeralds!"

"Yes, boss!" Scratch and Grounder salute as they jump on their Egg Mobile each and send Silver Sonic called Mecha Sonic inside the Death Egg's entrance.

As the door bangs open, Sonic, Tails and Amy jump as high as they could, leading to Sonic spin dash through the computers as he slams the machinery, causing Eggman to shriek while jumping away from Sonic.

Before Scratch and Grounder take action, Amy slams Grounder downwards and then smacks him towards Scratch with Grounder screaming.

With both Egg Mobiles hitting one another, Tails pierces through both Egg Mobiles.

"Oh poop." Grounder knows this is the end.

"Welp, it's nice knowing ya." Scratch waves a white flag.

As an explosion happens, both robots are being blasted off to the sky while screaming, never to be seen again.

With Eggman all alone, Sonic pulls Eggman's moustache while glaring at him, even Tails punches his palm and Amy taps her hammer, making Eggman cornered like a rat.

"Where's my sister?" Sonic growls.

"I- I don't know! She left Metropolis, just to find me, but luckily, I'm safe!" Eggman raises his finger with a positive smile.

This has Sonic spin dashing on Eggman's face as Eggman screamed as a result of having quills on his face and his moustache ruined.

"You stinking hedgehog! You and your friends humiliated me for the last time! But fortunately, I have another trick up my sleeves! Come, Mecha Gorilla! Crush those little brats!" Eggman cackles by releasing a large gorilla robot that punches its own chest.

Tails and Amy are not afraid of a giant gorilla which gives Sonic an extra thrill as he's prepared for this.

"Then we'll take it back to the petting zoo! Tails, Amy, let's put this thing back in the cage!" Sonic shouted.

"Right!" Tails and Amy shouted as they're ready.

"Hey, big guy! I got bananas!" Amy shouts while running, leading the Mecha Gorilla to follow her while being distracted.

"So, Eggy, got anymore robots?" Sonic asked as Tails laughed.

"Oh, you haven't seen anything yet!" Eggman grins, alerting Sonic and Tails to jump as they see an arm that made a fist flying towards the duo like a missile.

"Not bad." Sonic grunts.

"That's cheating!" Tails yelled.

"Nuh-uh! I am Dr. Eggman! I'll cheat whatever I want!" Eggman is acting egotistical again, giving Sonic and Tails the chance to counter Eggman's robot.

As for Amy, she's being cornered by Mecha Gorilla as her hammer is struggling to block a single gorilla fist, causing her to whistle as loudly as possible.

While Sonic and Tails taunt the robot as Tails pulls his eyelid and sticks out his tongue, Sonic is making himself look like a clown by sticking out his tongue, making the gorilla angry and sending it's detached fist to charge towards Sonic and Tails.

Luckily, Sonic and Tails had Mecha Gorilla's back punched by itself, causing it to explode, meaning Sonic, Tails and Amy have won the battle.

"I knew I shouldn't have put in some animal logic on my robots." Eggman groaned after he pulled out the quills from his face.

"Give up, Eggman. You lost. Now give us Tania back!" Tails called out as he, Sonic and Amy are in front of Eggman.

"Hmph! Don't get too excited, fox boy! Your friends aren't lucky enough to-"

BANG!

A noise has caused a rumble in the factory, making Sonic, Tails and Amy embrace each other as they exclaim.

"Unfortunately for you brats, the chaos emeralds are still mine! In the end, you lose, Sonic the Hedgehog! OHOHOHOHOHO!" Eggman laughs as the rubble collapses in front of him, causing the trio to grunt and evacuate from the factory, knowing they have lost the battle by Eggman.

Outside, Sonic, Tails and Amy are silent, realising that the Death Egg had successfully activated itself, flying all the way from earth as a result of Eggman's outwit.

Surrounding them is a bunch of G.U.N. agents taking the survivors as well as searching for Eggman inside a pile of rubble until they stop and see what's in the sky.

Falling to her knees, Amy is in fear of losing her family and friends from Eggman's mass destruction.

"We're too late…"

"Sonic, what are we going to do?" Tails asks, worried that earth is done for.

"Tails, where's the Tornado?" Sonic couldn't be more serious as he's clenching his teeth while glaring at the Death Egg.

"Huh? It's back at Emerald Town. Why do you ask?" Tails is wondering why.

"We're going to visit the Death Egg." Sonic answered.

To Tails and Amy's shock, Sonic is using a plane that's incapable of going above the orbit, meaning Sonic is gambling his own life.

"Sonic! Do you not understand that this is a Polikarpov I-153! We can't get into space!" Tails exclaimed.

"No, but we can get into Eggman's ship. It's the only way to get inside that oversized egg." Sonic points out what they need to do in order to get inside.

Amy isn't the only one that agrees with something suicidal, but is willing to risk her life for her family.

"I'm in." Amy accepted.

"You too, Amy!?" Tails is scared that Amy is being like Sonic in terms of heading towards some dangerous adventures.

"We can't stand there and do nothing. G.U.N. can't reach Eggman, but we can. With your brains and Sonic's speed, we can do this together!" Amy raised her fist with motivation.

"Heh. I like your style, Amy." Sonic points at Amy with a wink, enjoying how Amy is ready for her journey to space.

"Hee! Sonic praised me! I'm so happy!" Amy squeals with pure happiness.

Tails sighs as he has no other choice.

"Then let's get to my house. We're about to reach above the orbit." Tails nods, accepting the outcome that'll destroy everything they progress through.

"Sweet." Sonic grins before Tails lean closer.

"But it's risky. One wrong move and we're finished." Tails warned.

Sonic nods as he grabs Tails and Amy and zooms away from Metropolis, leaving G.U.N. to handle the investigation while the Death Egg is still on the rise.

Wing Fortress

A large battleship that is following the Death Egg as it rises, making Eggman grin as he turns on the speaker.

"Everyone of the Eggman Empire, there have been many losses such as Scratch, Grounder, Metal Sonic and Agent Stone. The rest of you, especially Fang, Clutch, Mimic, Breezie and Mecha Sonic, have done great service to the empire. Now it's time for Operation: Reshape Earth to begin!" Eggman widens his grin as his army is cheering aside from those important members.

Standing behind him is Silver Sonic, watching Eggman turn around as he laughs sinisterly while grinning.

"It's a shame the little scamp isn't here to see her brother again. I'm sure Sonic is in for a surprise once he has a rematch with you, Mecha Sonic."

[YES, DOCTOR. SONIC THE HEDGEHOG IS PRIORITY NUMBER ONE.] Silver Sonic agrees while bowing to Eggman.

"Good."

South Island, Spring Yard

Watching the Death Egg on the rise, Clutch is standing by the window, feeling joy that it became a hero's downfall as Sonic failed to stop Eggman.

"Hehehe. Game over, Nicky."

Westside Island, Emerald Town

At the hospital, Mimic is seeing the rise of the Death Egg, making him think about why Eggman is going the extra mile to cause millions of deaths around the world indiscriminately.

Looking at his own hand, Mimic is seeing why he's enjoying this, making him laugh.

"That's right… Burn them all to ashes."

Casino Night

In a brand new building, standing as the Death Egg is rising, Breezie smirks as she glares up at the sky.

"Oh how beautiful this ending is. It's time to say goodbye to this rotten world." Breezie raises her arms with glee.

After that she sighs as she frowns, realising that her story is about to end in misery and Eggman is doing it right now.

"Sonic… Are you really going to stop him at this rate?"

This is not victory yet as the Eggman Empire are dealing with Sonic, Tails and Amy as they're planning on getting to the Death Egg before it completely goes out of the orbit.

The 3rd final battle is about to begin.
