Tsukune woke up feeling something was off. He was too warm. He blinked as he looked over at Mizore's place in the bed and found it empty. His brain was fighting to rationalize the matter past the fog that sleep brought on.

"Mizore, where is she," he just asked the air as his brain started to ramp up to full consciousness.

He pushed the covers back and rolled over to the edge. He looked around the room and couldn't find her, but he felt something off. Not the missing woman, but, something weird. Something that he couldn't quite place, and it wasn't in the room, or even the building.

''Tsukune, where you go. I want cuddles. Come back to bed," he heard Moka mumble in her sleep behind him.

He was awake enough to smile at her, and awake enough that he could determine about where the feeling was coming from just as it cut out. The mausoleum.

"Yusa," he said as he came to full awareness.

He stood and crossed to the wardrobe. He pulled a jacket out and a pair of slip on sneakers. He didn't know what was going on, but he was not going to let any harm come to his little girl, and if it did, he was going to start the apocalypse.

He noticed Moka stirring more as he left the room, not by the door like he usually would, but through a window. He didn't have time to go through the hallways, he needed to get there now. He wasn't that fast just running in his restrained state. He didn't want to tip his hand until he knew what was happening.

It only took him minutes to reach the structure. He stopped a few yards back, trying to get a feel for what was going on. He couldn't smell blood, so that was a relief at least.

He started to take a step as he saw Utsuki and Karasu step out. That was a surprise, Utsuki hated the place. The reason why was obvious. Then Tekeshi stepped out. They wouldn't have, even Tekeshi wasn't that depraved, and Ustuki had a very good head on her shoulders, unless Karasu had corrupted her.

"What are you three doing out here at this time of night," his voice boomed out.

Tekeshi stepped forward, "Dad, I don't know what has your hackles up, but calm down. You are going to be happy."

"Happy, that I may be a grandfather? You were told, and you went and did such an act in such a solemn place?"

Karasu looked over at Tekeshi, "Grandfather? What does he think we did?"

"Dad, not what we did. Just calm your ass down, before you start going crazy. I know I can beat you now, but I really don't want it to go that far, but I know how you get if you get royally pissed. We kept our clothes on," the young man said.

"Now you are threatening me? I don't care what you...," his brain stopped as he looked up to see Mizore.

It wasn't her that made him stop though. It was the fact that Yusa was standing there next to her. He, just, he didn't know how to process what was going on.

"Yusa," he said, almost like he wasn't even in that part of reality.

"Yes. Me," the lack of a subject and then a verb made it very obvious it was definitely her.

"Dad, you ok? Just take a breath," Tekeshi stepped over and put his hand on his father's shoulder.

The older man just couldn't get his brain to fire correctly. He had been waiting for this, but he didn't know that he had ever really expected it.

"Yusa, how, are you ok? Do you hurt anywhere," he brushed Tekeshi's hand off and went to kneel in front of the girl.

"I'm, ok. Daddy. I'm ok," She through her arms around him.

Mizore smiled as she watched the expression on Tsukune's face show more joy than she had ever seen. Even just two years ago, she had never thought she would get to see this. She hadn't thought that her daughters would ever know that this man was their father. This was the greatest gift ever.

"YUSA," another voice rang out as a half dressed Yuki-onna came running in full speed down the path.

"ASUSA," the newly awakened girl broke the hug with her father, and was able to stand up to the impact of her sister hitting her full force, wrapping her in yet another hug.

"How did she know she was awake," Utsuki looked over to Tekeshi.

He shrugged, "They are natural born twins. Lorelai and Dehlia aren't really that much different. They just know when something is up. Don't ask me to explain it."

Tekeshi wrapped an arm around each of the two women beside him as they looked on. He felt them lean into him as they relaxed. They all smiled as Tsukune came over to them.

"Father, are you ok," Utsuki asked looking at his face, and the semi blank look on his face.

Tsukune looked at his son, "How, how did you manage this? You, just keep topping everything you have down, and never for yourself. Tekeshi, I am so sorry for how I just acted. I, I should have kept a cooler head when you started to tell me what was going on. I'm so sorry."

"Dad, it wasn't me. It was 'Suki. She healed her, set her injuries back to right. All I did, was let her out of her prison."

Tsukune looked over to the girl, "Utsuki, I don't know what to say. You, gave me something, gave all of us something, beyond all belief. Thank you. Please, I, I can't even think of what I could do, to truly reward and convey my thankfulness."

Utuski looked up thoughtfully, "Can the three of us have a room together?"

"No. That, was you? Ok, I expect things like that from the other two, but you," he had almost said yes before his brain caught up.

"Trust me Dad, she pulled a rape joke on us earlier. Deesseedra blames me for it," Tekeshi gave a half smirk.

"Excuse me, that isn't my name anymore. We have been through this," the irate nephilim said, and then quietly, "only in private."

"Father, can we, go see my father, and his family over the summer break," Utsuki finally said seriously.

"Sis, are you sure about that," Karasu looked over.

Tsukune looked at her, "Are you sure? They may not be that welcoming of you. I don't think that they would pose the three of you any danger, and your father wouldn't allow any to come to you, but they may not treat you that kindly."

"I'm sure. I haven't gotten to spend that much time with him since the curse was broken. Me and Mom, we are doing really good now. She isn't having that many personality swings anymore. I really, want to get to know the him, that is really him. I want him to get to know Tekeshi, and to really know Kari. He really needs to know Kari, cause in the unlikely event that I break up with Tekeshi, or something happens to him, then she is still going to be my sister," Utsuki looked up with a determined look.

Tsukune started to say something when he was pushed out of the way by Asusa, "'Suki, thank you so much. I can't ever thank you for giving me my sister back. Thank you. Thank you so much."

Utsuki pulled away from Tekeshi and hugged the snow fairy, "It's ok Susu. Your welcome. You know I would move heaven and earth for you. Seeing you happy is the best gift you could ever give me."

Asusa pulled back with a fake pout, "Are you saying my brother isn't the greatest gift I ever gave you?"

"He's a little scruffy don't you think," Utsuki jokingly threw her nose up.

"Dad, what is it with the women we attract, and their ability cause us so much pain?"

Tsukune shrugged, "I'm going to be honest, does it really matter?"

Akasha stretched as she woke up. She was really bored with the whole bed rest thing. The only positive thing about it, was the almost unlimited blood on tap. Oh, her boobs were actually where they should be. Well, she felt better about herself.

She reached up to her eyebrow, and felt small little prickles. Her hair was coming back now. She didn't know whether it was day or night, but it was a good one now. Better muscle tone would also be good, but one step at a time.

"So, you can't sleep a regular schedule either," Akui asked as she was squeezing some kind of resistance trainer in her hand.

"Not, quite yet. At least, I can, speak," the vampire replied.

"Hey, it's something. At least you aren't dealing with an itch down below. How that got missed, and I also wish the nerve damage was still there to keep from feeling it, but it isn't fun," the other woman said bored.

Akasha scrunched her face, "Really, didn't want to, know about, that."

"Sorry. I don't really have anything else to talk about right now. My world, is mostly the same as yours right now. The only difference, is they are making me ride a stationary bike for two hours a day. I also get to eat more solid food. Hey, have you ever had Takoyaki in Osaka?"

"I've never been, to Osaka."

Akui smiled, "It is worth going. I actually lived in a hidden village outside there for about half my life, and the other half, at a similar hidden village up closer to Kyoto. Way too many foreigners, but I guess that isn't something that can be avoided in this day and age. Had a lot of good screws there."

"Hate to ask, but you are, a major slut, aren't you," Akasha really couldn't find anything redeemable about the woman.

There was a period of silence after the question. Akasha hated herself for being so blunt and cruel with it. She was a vampire, so the arrogance natural was unavoidable, but she really tried not to act like that if she could avoid it.

"Yeah, I, really was. Oh, I still haven't gotten your name."

"Akasha Bloodriver. I am, Tekeshi's Grandmother."

The woman looked over with a look of utter shock on her face, "Bullshit. You are what, twenty? Maybe thirty? There is no way that he isn't your nephew."

"I was born, in the, 1400s. From Wallachia. I'm a vampire, a really strong vampire. Good for the skin," she said with a smirk.

"Damn, I'll say. I hope I look that good when I am a few hundred years old. Well, I probably will, given this whole thing. Wait, do I age? I don't know if I age now. Shit," Akui frowned as she suddenly found herself unsure of what the future would bring.

Akasha looked at the woman. She, found herself feeling bad for her again. What did her future hold. Akasha was still shinso, so she was functionally immortal. She doubted that she would ever look older than maybe fifty something. What if Akui couldn't die, and she just continued to age as humans typically did? What would she look like in a hundred years, or two hundred, or even a thousand?

"Don't, worry. Live in the moment, don't let the moment live you," Akasha said with a smile.

"Yeah, I think the last century called and wanted their stupid inspirational quote back."

Akasha simply stuck her tongue out at her.

"Oh, really. I thought you said you were a grown woman with a grandchild, not a five year old. Thanks," Akui made to turn over and lay down.

"For what?"

"For making me feel a little less isolated and lonely. I wasn't a good person. I did things, that I most likely deserve to die for doing. I won't get to. I hate myself as much as anyone else hates me, and I can't think of a reason that I shouldn't. I was raised to kill people like you. I loved doing it. I was a spoiled princess, and I became a sexual deviant because I was never told no. Not even the little bit of my family that has been here, has really wanted that much to do with me. Yeah, Utsuki comes by everyday, but I can tell how uncomfortable she is with me, and because she was the one that did this to me. I, wish that I could go back, and do something to change how I came out."

"The fact that you can feel, any remorse, shows that you are a, better person, than you think. I have seen the, worst that, either man or monster, has ever had to, offer," Akasha took a breath as she spoke.

"You are the first person I have heard use the word monster here," Akui turned over to look at her.

"I grew up for several, years hearing about, my grandmother. I don't know about, my grandfather, but she was, cruel and murderous. Even as she looked so innocent. I understand, that she enjoyed killing, and never had any regret. I watched a man that I admired greatly, fall into madness, and nearly tear the world apart. As much as so many of my kind, hate the word, and its connotations, I have lived long enough to know how, apt it can be," Akasha looked up to the ceiling.

"Most people don't want to admit faults, either their own, or of those they care about. Faults are all I have though," Akui laid back down an closed her eyes.

Akasha wasn't quite sure why she took her next action, but she was sure of it, "At least, now you, have a friend."

The plane jerked slightly as the wheels touched the runway. Simona watched as Candace seemed to draw up even more. It was amazing that this woman was supposed to be an extremely powerful vampire, and was afraid of a simple plane.

"My Lady, are you feeling any better now," she asked, hoping to get on with whatever their purpose was supposed to be.

"NO, I AM DECIDEDLY NOT ALRIGHT. I WILL NOT BE ALRIGHT UNTIL MY FEET ARE ON PROPER GROUND," the sheer force of the psychic transmission knocked Simona completely unconscious.

It was somewhat later when she started to stir. When she could see, she noticed that she was in a hospital.

"Hello Miss. How are you feeling," a woman wearing scrubs asked her.

"Where am I," Simona asked noticing Candace sitting in the corner, who gave her a smile and wave.

"Incheon Medical Center."
