The day started out like any other day. Going to school, dealing with Randall, and dealing with Devin and Cassidy. Kira had invited Tommy and Kimberly to hear her sing after school. Tommy would be running a few minutes lates because the science department had a meeting after school. Kimberly arrived at 3:30 on the dot.Kira finished singing two song that she had practiced with her band. Kimberly looked her at watch and saw it was 4:15. Tommy's meeting was supposed to end at 3:45. Maybe it had went past that time. With Randall, she was likely to get them there past the time they were supposed to leave. And Tommy told her that he wouldn't put it past Randall would try to get them longer. He told her that if he wasn't at the cyber space, he would be home at 4:30. Was it possible that was the case? Kimberly had to know. She didn't stay for refreshments. Instead, she drove home five miles over the speed limit. She had to know that he was okay. Kimberly pulled up in their yard and Tommy's jeep wasn't in the yard.
Surely, he would have left a message on the answering machine or called her cell phone. Kimberly ran to the phone and saw there were no messages. She reached into her purse and pulled out her cellphone. There were no messages. Kimberly dialed Tommy's cell phone and got his voice mail.
"You have reached Tommy Oliver. Leave me a message and I will get back with you."
"TOMMY, WHERE ARE YOU!?" Kimberly cried. "YOU DID NOT SHOW UP TO HEAR KIRA SING. AND YOU HAVEN'T LEFT ANY MESSAGES TELLING ME WHERE YOU ARE. WHY AREN'T YOU ANSWERING? PLEASE CALL AND LET ME KNOW YOU ARE OKAY!"
As the daylight started to decline the tension inside Kimberly grew. This was not like Tommy at all. She got up and filled the kettle to make coffee, which she had no intention of drinking. Her eyes kept darting to her cellphone and the house phone that were refusing to ring. She turned the TV on and took a seat. But, she turned the TV off five minutes later. What was she thinking? She wasn't in any mood to watch TV. The kettled finally boiled and clicked off, she went to the door. She was starting hoping at any minute, she would hear a key turn and see Tommy opening the door. Kimberly could visualize the smile of relief as she threw her arms around him. There was no doubt in her mind that she would be yelling at Tommy and telling him how worried she had been. Kimberly went to the door and opened it. There was no one outside and his jeep still wasn't there. Tears started to pour down her face as she became even more worried. It was as if the soul was able to bleed through her eyes, which was greatness of her sobbing.
Kimberly heard three voices as she started to wake. She looked at the clock and it was 3:15, she missed a whole day of school. And she didn't call in. Randall was never going to let her off the hook easy.
"Ms. Hart, we are so sorry to barging in," Kira apologized. "We were just worried because you left early yesterday and Dr. O never showed up. And it was so not like you two not to call in for work."
"I am sorry," Kimberly apologized as tears formed in her eyes. "I was up all night waiting for Tommy to come home. I called his phone and he never answered. The last thing I remember was that I tried calling him 5:30 and he never answered. I must have fallen asleep and slept during the day. I never meant to worry you. I just have a bad feeling that he was taken by Mesogog."
"Why would they want Dr. O?" Ethan asked. "He isn't even a power ranger."
"Actually he was a power ranger," Kimberly revealed as she watched all of their mouths drop into the shape of an O. "And to be honest, I was too. We were both on the orginal team. I was the pink ranger and Tommy started out green, and then he became the white ranger. Then after I left to go to Florida, the team went on Zeo quests and he became the red ranger. I will put in Tommy's video diary. It will explain everything."
Meanwhile, Tommy was strapped down in a chair at Mesogog's fortress. A drill was slowly making its way down to his head. Mesogog loosing paitence with him because he refused to open the rock which was holding two dino gems. He had given Tommy until the sand ran out to make decision. But, time was almost up.
From out of now where Kira, Ethan, and Conner came running into the room. They were fighting off tryannodrones as Conner made his way to free Tommy.
"Dr. O, come with us," Conner demanded. "We don't have much time. "
"I will be there," Tommy promised. "I have to grab something very important first."
Kimberly parked her pink Sportage car in the cyberspace's parking lot. If only she had her powers, she could have went with the teens to rescue Tommy. But, she knew it would be too dangerous if she couldn't morph. A portal opened and Tommy hit the ground.
"Tommy, are you okay?" Kimberly asked as she ran over and hugged him. "I was so worried about you."
"I'm fine," Tommy assured her as he hugged her back. He hadn't been this glad to see her since she came home from Florida. There was no doubt in his mind that she was up the whole night worrying about him. While he was captured he felt his cell phone vibrate in his pocket. He knew it was Kimberly calling him. "Kim, please understand that I would not ignore you on purpose. I was strapped down to a chair. I couldn't reach my cell phone. I was grabbed by tryannodrones and taken-"
"-I learned that this afternoon," Kimberly interrupted. "Hayley was able to pull it up on the security camera in the lab."
"Kim, I think there is a pink gem in here," Tommy pointed out as he saw a pink light coming from the see through rock.
The teens ran over to Tommy and Kimberly. Elsa and Zeltrax weren't that far behind.When they get back to down town Reefside, Elsa and Zeltrax follow them. Zeltrax shot a beam out of his sword; Tommy and Kimberly used the rock to shield the others.The rock broke in half and a pink gem continued to glow, as it went flying. The teens watched as Tommy and Kimberly disappeared from view.
"No, they can't be gone!" Kira cried.
"Did you miss us?"Tommy asked as he and Kimberly appeared from out of nowhere.
He had the power of invisiblity. This would prove very useful against their upcoming battles between Mesogog, Elsa and Zeltrax. Kimberly watched Elsa taunted him about being too old. But, that wouldn't stop Tommy. He morphed into the black ranger and helped the three teens fight them off.
"Tell Mesogog that Tommy is back," Tommy declared as Elsa and Zeltrax disappeared through a portal. "And no matter what color I am, he will never defeat me!"
Tommy took a seat next to Kimberly as they all gathered around the table. He knew he had a lot explaining to do. The last thing he ever wanted to do was worry his team, especially Kimberly.
"I knew there was at least another gem out there," Tommy explained. I had Hayley make another bracelet. But, there was another gem in the rock. It was pink and now Hayley will be making another bracelet for that one."
"Who is the pink one for?" Kira asked.
"I think it's mine," Kimberly replied taking hold of Tommy's hand. "It seems that anytime we are on a different team, I am always pink and Tommy is always a different color."
"So, Kim and I will be heading to the mall," Tommy informed as he and Kimberly headed to the door. "I have a shortage of black in my closet. Then after we go to the mall, Kimberly and I will be heading to the beach."

When Legacy of Power aired, it immediately start when the teens went to Tommy's house. But, I think if Kim was in the series, she wouldn't have showed up for work either and she would have been worried about Tommy the night before. And she would have revealed she was a ranger too.
