I do not own Power Rangers. I only own this fanmade season and these characters.
Enjoy.
The three teens were still in a state of shock as they explored the ruins of what was once a great school. One they had attended for so long just to learn how to properly protect themselves from the evil of this world. They could figure out what had happened. Was there an earthquake? Of course not! If they were an earthquake, then why didn't they feel it when Maya was driving up here.
The landscape was now just debris and rubble. Dust blew softly but noticeably in the air, hindering their vision just a bit.
"Can you guys guess where everyone could have gone?" Max questioned, looking back at his friends.
DJ stopped and shrugged. "I have no clue. We were supposed to have class today, right?"
"That's what Sensei said," Maya spoke, looking around until she saw something that made her stomach clench. She gasp as she pointed towards the direction behind Max.
"Guys look!" Both boys turned to where Maya was pointing at and they both gasped as well. From a distance, they found Ellie trapped underneath some rubble with Sensei Uni trying desperately to lift the rocks from under her.
They both ran towards them and once Uni looked up and noticed them, words couldn't describe how relieved he felt. "Kids, come quick! Help my daughter!"
"Don't worry, Sensei. I know a move that will help," Max spoke while preparing himself for the ''dust strike.' He used his right hand and crossed his index and middle finger before pressing it hard against the boulder holding the young girl down. "DUST STRIKE!" He yelled. Within an instant, the huge boulder disintegrated into dust. Ellie was finally able to get up but frowned in annoyance at how she was filled with dust.
"Aw, come on!" She exclaimed. "I am going to have to take a shower after this."
DJ smirked. "Yeah, a LONG shower." He spoke, laughing.
Ellie glared at him and was about ready to throw hands with her enemy when Maya finally asked Uni with haste in her voice. "Sensei, what happened here?" He asked, gesturing at their surroundings.
Uni understood what his female student was trying to understand. He just couldn't figure out how to explain the situation to these kids in simple words. He knew that he needed to find a way to keep them safe because as of this moment, he realized they are what's left of his school, which meant they...
They were the chosen ones.
Uni walked towards the east, motioning the four children to follow him. Ellie was next to him while the three teens were lagging, still wondering what was going on. Where was Sensei taking them? What in the world happened to their school? And most importantly, where are the other students?
Uni stopped for a moment to pick up his kendo stick, which he regularly uses as a cane when he is not participating in combat, and suddenly, Max and his friends were all amazed when a blue portal magically opened up in front of Uni and his daughter disappeared through. The three looked at one another before walking towards the portal, Max taking the lead.
The portal brought them from the broken landscape to a dark room. Hardly anything was visible, besides the single fluorescent light that was extremely dim. Then suddenly, Ellie flicked a switch, causing the light to brighten up, along with many other fluorescent lights that were not visible before. This revealed a rather cool-looking room with a large computer terminal on the opposite side from where the teens were standing. In the middle of the table was a small, traditional Japanese table that was surrounded by 5 pillows, one that was red, one blue, one yellow, one green, and one white. The entire room looked like a traditional dojo, but more high-tech.
At the computer terminal, Ellie sat with her dad standing behind her. Max, DJ, and Maya approached the two as Max spoke up.
"Sensei?" He spoke cautiously. Uni looked back and crossed his arms. He didn't look mad. His facial expression was filled with concern and doubt. What could be wrong with him?
"Children," He spoke after a full minute of pure silence, "I know this may be difficult to believe, but the students have been kidnapped."
Their eyes went wide. "What?" DJ spoke incredulously. None of them could comprehend what Uni was saying. How could all 500 of their classmates, who were all trained to fight, be kidnapped in one morning.
Before anybody could ask any questions, Uni spoke. "Just view Ellie's computer screen." The three students looked at one another, all appearing to be extremely nervous, before approaching closer behind Ellie's computer chair to view her screen. What was displayed was an image of conniving brute-like creatures with pupilless eyes. He looked like a pure monster to them. Shivers crawled through their spines as they examined this 'man'.
"Who is that?' Maya asked, fear in her voice.
"Yeah," DJ added with a disgusted look on his face. "He is a special kind of ugly."
Uni nodded his head. "That, my fellow students, is Po."
The video then projected Po and Uni as young students.
"Po and I were once great friends. We both trained in the same dojo and like you guys, went to the same school. But then, shortly after high school, his parents, who were intergalactic criminals, were killed by the Justices of World Karate for their crimes."
Maya raised an eyebrow and scratched her chin. "Justices of World Karate? I believe we read about them our first week in this school. I thought those were a myth!" She exclaimed in pure disbelief.
DJ rolled his eyes. "I didn't think so."
Uni shook his head. "No, they were as true as the sea is blue, Maya."
The screen then projected to when Po, his brother, and his sister were seen eating the lost reminisces of the Masters of Karate.
"In retaliation, Po and his family fled from the academy and plotted their revenge. They became hungry for power and soon plotted their plans for the destruction of every single karate student, as well as the total domination of mankind. They searched through the galaxy and found the remains of the late ancient Humanitors that were defeated thousands of years ago by great Karate Warriors. After consuming the remains, they transformed into what you see on the screen."
"Humanitors?" Max asked, raising an eyebrow.
"They are second-dimensional, human-like creatures with powerful capabilities. However, they are evil to the utmost level."
The screen then turned to when Po and his siblings being banished by a court to the dimension called Kartae.
"We then exiled all three of them to a different world filled with other exiled karate masters and Humanitors, who fell under his command. Now he is back and will do anything to take our world, and destroy anyone, especially the karate specialists, that try to get in his way."
The screen then switched to the most recent events that took the breath away from Maya, DJ, and Max. The sight of all of their classmates being sucked into a portal by none other than Po himself.
Their gazes fell as they soon began to realize that every one of their close classmates, which they fought with and alongside for years, were taken away that easily, and they were just fortunate to show up late on this very specific day.
DJ breathed. "I can't believe it...we were late. We...we survived because of our tardiness."
Maya dug her finger through her thick hair. "We would have been taken if...we came on time."
Max shook his head in disbelief. "I can't believe this."
Uni then reached over to power off the computer. He then turn to see how saddened his remaining students were from the news he had to share with them. He couldn't let their guilt prevent them from their newly obtained duties.
"Children," he spoke with a solemn expression on his face. "Do not be ashamed. Ancient scroll told of three students who would be chosen above the others to protect the public as well as the sake of karate."
The three looked up at him in curiosity. Ellie turned her chair and hopped off her seat, looking up at her father with distaste. "Are you kidding me, dad? You can't be serious. I can't believe that you are going to allow THEM to be responsible to save this whole world, are you?"
Max's eyes widened. "What does she mean by that, Sensei?"
Uni turned around and walked into a dark room for a brief second. He soon came out with a box that looked almost majestic. It instantly caught the attention of Max and his friends.
He looked down at Ellie, who nodded in defeat, crossing her arms. He then shifted his attention back onto the three children. Max, being in the middle, approached closer to his sensei with Maya closely behind him on his right, and DJ a little farther back to Max's left.
Uni opened the enchanted box, revealing a sight that left Max, DJ, and Maya in a state of shock, with DJ approaching closer to the box. In the box were three orbs. The red orb was in the middle, the orb closest to Maya was yellow, and the orb closest to DJ was blue.
"These were the ancient gems of martial arts," Uni said plainly. "They will transform you into Power Rangers. Go on, take them."
"No way," was all Maya could say.
After a brief moment of silence, DJ finally spoke up, laughing, raising his fist in the air. "Yes!" He then looked at his friends. "You see guys, I knew it! The legend was right! These orbs were real, and so were the rangers!" He then excitedly but slowly took the blue gem. Max hesitated for a moment before taking the red gem, and shortly after Maya came out of her state of shock and reached over towards the Yellow Gem.
The teens observed their new gifts as Uni spoke up. "DJ, with the fierceness and strength of a shark, you shall command the powers of the Blue Ranger."
He then looked over at Maya. "Maya, with the energy and intelligence of a cheetah, you shall become the Yellow Ranger.'
He then looked over at Max, who held a small grin on his face as his sensei spoke. "Max, with the courage and nobleness of an eagle, you shall command this team as the Red Ranger."
The teens accepted their roles and all gave one another approving nods. Max then looked over at Uni and spoke, his arms crossed. "So when do we start?"
Right when Uni was about to answer, an alarm was heard. Red lights flickered all over the room, signaling a disturbance caused by a humanite. Uni then turned to his daughter and spoke. "What could be going on?"
Ellie quickly hopped onto her chair and checked her monitor. A screen projecting what is going on at the plaza the kids visited earlier. Several foot soldiers wearing all white clothing but had black covered faces with squinted white eyes were seen terrorizing students, while a bald Humanitor made out of stone was launching huge rocks at buildings, causing destruction.
"Quickly!" Uni turned to his students, pointing towards the exit. "Head to the Pixie Plaza."
"Wait," Max spoke. "How do we morph?"
"Your Gems will appear once you call upon them, then say 'Call into Combat' while aiming your gems forward."
Max and his team nodded before heading out through the same portal they used to get into their new dojo.
Ellie shook her head. "You're making a huge mistake, dad."
Rocko Socko and an army of foot soldiers were wreaking havoc in the plaza, scaring several screaming humans away. The foot soldiers, known as the Karadracs, scatter around the area terrorizing numerous people.
Rocko Socko used his strength to break a huge chunk of the wall from a nearby building before launching it at the fast-food place. Glass shattered the entire place as the entrance was crumbled by the huge boulder.
Rocko laughed in his cold, and extremely deep voice. Almost sounded as if a gorilla could talk. "Oh, if only Po could join in on the fun. Taking this city was easier than I imagined!"
He turned and surveyed the entire area. "Where are those remaining students the boss mentioned?" He questioned, surveying the entire area, which was now just riddled with trash, broken tables, and dust everywhere. "Perhaps I am just too HARD-core for them to challenge!" He cackled, but then was stunned when he heard a cold voice from a distance.
"HEY FREAK! RIGHT HERE!" A voice called from the edge of the street. Rocko and his gang turned and found three kids standing before them from a distance. The boy on the right had dark skin and wore a blue robe, the girl on the left was tan and had a ponytail while wearing a yellow robe, and the boy in the middle had red hair and freckles and wore a red robe.
Rocko laughed as he took a few steps in their direction, several Karadracs closely behind him. "Oh, I am so scared! These kids are going to stop us!" He said in a babyish tone before cackling. "Who the heck are you guys, anyway?!"
Max smirked. "You'll see! KARATE GEMS!" He spoke as he held his hand for his gem to appear. "You guys ready!"
Maya and DJ held out their hands as their gems appeared. "READY!" Thus the morphing sequence had begun.
They held their right hands holding the gems straight forward, their left hands held up high. "CALL INTO COMBAT!" They called out behind tapping the top of their gems. They glowed and sickening bright light that hindered the vision of Rocko Socko.
"Ah!" He yelled before he could look over back at where the rangers were once the light finally dimmed. He couldn't believe what he then witnessed before him.
Three actual Power Rangers were laid before him. The young boy in the middle had transformed into the Red Power Ranger. The girl on his left transformed into the Yellow Rangers and for the boy on the right, the Blue Ranger. Their spandex pants were of their signature colors, as well as their boots, with a black stripe at the near top. They were also equipped with gold-colored karate belts that were strapped and tied up very tightly. The upper part of their suits consisted of their signature colors as well, with an actual black and white karate symbol planted on their chests. Their helmets were in the shape of their spirit animals, with DJ's being a 3-D zigzag, resembling a shark's teeth. For Maya, her helmet resembled that of a cheetah, with her visor being a rectangular-like shape with a cheetah's canines going through the top just slightly for it to be noticeable. Lastly, Max's helmet resembled an eagle, with his visor being a thin, upside-down triangle resembling the bird's beak.
Max's raised his fist in the air. "Soaring like an eagle!" He then set his fist down for raising his arms wide, resembling himself as an eagle. "Karate Force Red Ranger!"
Then it was DJ's turn. He raised his fist in the air. "Surging like a shark!" He knelt down before using his arms to resemble himself as a shark. "Karate Force Blue Ranger!"
Maya then shouted out, raising her fist in the air. "Sprinting like a cheetah!" She then knelt down and placed her hands on the ground, resembling herself as a cheetah about to run. "Karate Force Yellow Ranger!"
They all then stood. "United We Stand!" Then they struck their poses once again, with a background explosion erupting behind them, amplifying their spirits. "Divided We Fall!"
The battle will appear in the next episode. Thank you so much for reading. Thoughts? Please leave reviews.
