Hey guys, I wanted to give both Donnie and Bonnie their own backstories, so you would understand what turned them evil, as implied at the end of Timid Rangers: Part Three.
I hope you enjoy this very brief chapter.
Two twins at the age of ten were both hanging in their backyard. One twin had short amber hair and green eyes. He wore a green shirt and black overalls and he had the brightest smile on his swing as he went back and forth on the swing set, laying on his belly. His sister had longer hair that was tied into two pigtails, and she wore similar clothes as her brother, but she wore a white shirt, and instead of overalls, she wore a black skirt. She was busy by herself practicing her ribbon dance for her school play that coming up.
Their father and mother both owned their own dojos, where they taught several students the art of Karate. They even managed to make connections to Sensei Uni himself, who have met the twins and were quite fond of them.
Speaking of their parents, the twins' father, a tall man with blond man, who the twins resembled by their bright green eyes, entered the backyard and called out to his children.
"Bonnie, Donnie! Let's go! Your mother finished making the cookies."
"Alright!" Donnie cheered as he hopped off the swing and ran towards his house. Bonnie followed close behind. The two twins laughed as they ran past their father and through the back door leading into the kitchen. A woman stood behind the stood carrying the tray of cookies out of the oven. She had blue eyes, but her amber-colored hair clearly resembled the twins' perfectly.
"Mom! Mom! Mom!" The two twins cheered as they started jumping excitedly as their mother turned and chuckled at them.
"Douglas, come settle these two rugrats!"
Their father entered and picked up the two twins simultaneously, tickling their sides, which got them to burst out laughing.
He sat them down at the kitchen table before laying a big loud kiss on each of their cheeks.
"I want cookies!" Donnie yelled. His mother set the plate of cookies on the table as she laughed.
"Oh, haven't they had enough sugar already, huh?"
Their father chuckled. "Brianna, you know well that their energy comes from you."
Brianna pretended to look offended before putting her hands on her hips and smirking at her husband. "Oh, and I wonder where Donald's need to commit mischievous deeds come from."
Douglas grinned and he looked down at his son, tickling his son. "Oh yeah, you are like me, aren't you, son?"
They laughed as they all sat down and enjoyed the rest of their day, unaware of what would come later that evening.
It was the middle of the night, and both Donnie and Bonnie were sleeping in their shared room. Donnie snored quite loudly on the top bunk, but it didn't bother the heavy sleeper Bonnie, who slumbered on the bottom bunk.
Just then, a loud crack was heard. It didn't startle the twins just yet, but then a loud boom, which caused both of the twins to wake up with a start. They sat upon their beds wondering what that sound was.
"What was that?!" Donnie cried out.
Bonnie hopped off from her bed, while her brother climbed down the stairs to the ground. Bonnie took lead, warning her brother to stay as quiet as he can. They carefully exited their room. Then they heard the heart-stopping sounds of their mother screaming and their father hollering and grunting. It sounded like he was actually in a battle against someone who had broken into their hair.
The twins were scared as they shut the door. They hugged and held on to one another as if their lives depended on it. They were utterly terrified. This was just not something a child of any age should hear or see, especially two ten-year-olds.
After the screaming stopped, both Bonnie and Donnie looked at one another, wondering if their parents have managed to defeat whatever crook they just fought.
They exited their room and slowly walked down the hallway towards their parents' room. They creaked the door open and took a peek inside. What they found was shocking.
They noticed Mr. Uni standing before them, yelling out the window.
"You'll pay for this, Po!"
He then turned and his heart stopped when he saw the kids looking at him. The twins were shocked as they entered the room. Bonnie was the first to speak.
"Uni, why are you here? Where's out mom and-" She didn't even finish her sentence as he heard her brother scream. She turned to him wondering what caused him to freak out until she found out why.
Their parents were laid lifeless. There was no evidence of murder as they were no blood nor there were no scratches or bruises, but Bonnie and Donnie knew better why their parents were not moving nor breathing, and they took a guess as to who could have done this.
They glanced over at Uni, who was trying to appeal to them. "Kids, I can explain-"
The two kids screamed as they ran out of the room, they ran down the stairs and towards the front door. Once they opened it, a figure appeared at the porch to their right.
They both screamed in terror at the figure. He didn't even look human. He was built and bald, but his skin looked as if it was made out of some strange gray material, and he wore a steel vest, and his eyes had no pupils.
"Who are you?!" Bonnie screamed.
He grinned at them as he pulled out his flute and played a melody. Not just any melody, but a calming melody. Something that would hypnotize the kids to calm down to the point where they will trust him.
After the long melody, the kids let go of one another and their faces were completely calm.
The figure smirked as he held out his hand. "Come with me, and I will take care of you from now on."
The two twins obediently obeyed and took the figure's hands. In a flash, they disappeared into thin air, most likely to the figure's own world.
Uni made it out of the house but was too late. Po...beat him to the twins.
There! That's part one of the backstory!
