The Robbed Memory Bank

Plot: The team must band together when a monster steals Bonnie's memories, leaving her clueless and scared. Meanwhile, Max deals with a rival from his soccer team

Max wore his red soccer uniform, with his last name and the number 8 knitted on the back. He glanced over to the goalie as he was preparing himself to block the ball that lay feet in front of Max.

"Come on, Cruz," the elderly coach reprimanded as he stood next to the other students who sat on the bleachers, some were annoyed as they couldn't wait for class to be over.

Just then, a blond-haired teen with a smug look on his face stood up. "Hey, Max-boy!" He mocked. "Quit wasting our time! Either suck now or suck later!"

Max shut his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to keep his anger in check. "How about suck never, Henry?" He called out. He opened up his eyes and used all of his might as he raised his leg backward and laid a kick at the ball. It launched past the goalie and with not much magnitude that even broke through the net.

All the other players were amazed and gave Max a round of applause. All except, of course, Henry. He simply crossed his arms and glared. Just then, their coach has pulled out his megaphone.

"Okay," He spoke through. "On the last practice before our final game on December 1st, who here favors that we give Max Cruz the title of "Most Efficient"?

The boys roared in approval which earned Max another glare from Henry. Max snickered before marching off with the other players.

The next day, Max received a fair share of praise from his friends as Maya drove all of them to school.

"So, when is the Award ceremony," DJ asked as he looked back from the passenger seat. Max shrugged as he stood between the twins.

"This Saturday, but I am kind of nervous."

"How come," Bonnie asked with her eyes narrowed.

"You guys know Henry, right?" Max inquired.

"I hate him." Donnie crossed his arms and growled. Henry Scout has been the most notorious student-athlete out there. He has never been afraid of teasing any of the Rangers besides DJ, who lunged at the bully when Henry picked on him during recess in the 8th grade.

Maya parked the car and all the teens exited the vehicle. Max and the other boys said farewell to the girls as they moved on to the first period they shared. The three boys walked across the hallway, where students were standing by lockers and talking. The boys decided to engage in a strange conversation based on fast food.

"Guys that is BS! I would choose a Big Mac over a Whopper any given day" Max exclaimed.

"No thanks, I'd rather have a sandwich with all the fixings," Donnie said as he worked on the combination to his locker.

As the boys continued speaking, a figure approached DJ and as he turned, he yelped in shock before realizing who it was: Ellie.

Donnie and Max got their books out just as they noticed Ellie with DJ just 10 feet across. DJ was beside himself. Ellie looked quite swell. She wore a fresh white shirt and blue jean jacket, but the one main highlight was the conditioner Ellie used on her hair that made it shin. Her long, straight black hair developed butterflies in DJ's stomach.

DJ scratched the back of his neck. "H-hey, Ellie. What is up?"

"I need help. There is a major assignment for my robotics class and I need someone who is extremely physical to help construct my robot. Can you do it for me?" Ellie begged with her eyes.

After a moment of thinking, DJ shrugged his shoulders and agreed. "Fine, I'll do it."

Ellie pulled DJ in for a hug. "Oh, thanks Deej. You are amazing!"

DJ blushed and took in the scent of Ellie's hair. He shuddered before she pulled away and walked off.

He turned and groaned as he noticed Max and Donnie giving him teasing smirks. He glared at them, silently daring them to say one single word, before walking off.

"Well, I guess ElliexDJ may be possible." Donnie laughed.

Max chuckled. "I guess so. Hey, I am looking forward to doing a sport this winter. Is the boxing ring up for recruits?"

"Always. DJ decided to quit boxing and stick with MMA. He is thinking of doing martial arts practices throughout this entire school year."

Just then, a figure approached them and spoke in a scratchy, teasing voice. "Aw, well look who it is. Maxwell Cruz, the 'most efficient player in the whole world'."

Max turned and grunted. "What do you want, Henry."

Henry was accompanied by two twin goons who were the biggest on the soccer team. He approached Max and smirked. "I have no idea what the coach was thinking even letting you in the team."

Donnie noticed Max's face was turning into an unbelievable shade of red. He stood by Max's side and frowned at Henry. "Listen, man. Maybe you should not doubt people and instead, focus on your achievements."

"I am not going to get lectured by some sad orphan boy!" Henry exclaimed, causing his two friends to laugh.

Donnie's eyes widened and he growled as he dropped his backpack. "Orphan boy?!" He approached Henry, wanting to fight, but he was held back by Max.

"Donnie, no, it is not worth it," Max then turned to Henry, "you better watch your mouth! Don't want to see you go down before this semester ends."

Max and Donnie then turned and walked away, ignoring Henry's comment. "I will make sure that everyone sees you as a pure fraud. Your mother is a mayor's assistant, which means you have leverage. One day, it is best to shut up and face me, Cruz!"

Max rolled his eyes and scoffed. "Can't stand him." He heard Donnie mutter.

"Me neither, but we might as well get used to him before we graduate," Max suggested.

At the Gym/Mexican Juice Bar Maya's extended family owned, both she and Bonnie were practicing their gymnastics. Both of them wore matching leotards, minus the color, with Maya's being raw yellow and Bonnie's being silky white. Both of their hair was tied into buns as Maya stood by while Bonnie finished her stretching.

"Thanks for convincing your mother to let me do this," Bonnie said with gratitude. "The winter tournament is this February and I need to gain from training as well as come prepared with a great load of confidence."

Maya crossed her arms and nodded. "Yeah, those competitors can be brutal. I would never put myself through a tournament like that."

Bonnie stood up straight and had her hands on her hips. "How come?" She asked Maya.

Maya just shrugged. "They're always cruel. I highly suggest you try out for a different team."

Bonnie narrowed her eyes. "Why?"

Maya was beside herself for a moment. She wanted to say what she had in mind, but she didn't want to offend Bonnie in any way. After a while, she just sighed. "Bonnie, you're just too...nice to associate yourself with those types of girls."

"Is there something wrong with that?" Bonnie exclaimed. She was getting riled up for just a moment before Maya put her hands on her shoulder and shook her head.

"No, Bon' you being sweet makes you the friend we all know and love. What I am saying is that I don't want those girls to have their rubbish conquer who the real Bonnie truly is."

Bonnie wanted to say something but then was caught off-guard. Her friend had a point, as much as she hated to admit.

Just then, their communicators started beeping. Maya answered. "Yes, Ellie."

"Maya, you and Bonnie head downtown! There is a monster attack near the Rec center!"

Maya looked up at Bonnie, who gave her a nod. "We are on our way!" Maya answered. The girls waved goodbye to Maya's mother, who was working on smoothies behind a counter before they entered the empty hallway.

Maya raised her Morpher. "Ready?"

Bonnie did the same. "Ready."

"Call into Combat!"

The citizens of the city of Milwaukee scattered as the camouflaged-covered specimen known as Questionire shot yellow lasers across the entire building. The monster was like a whole ghost, except there were holes torn on his cloth that allowed his long, white toilet-papered covered arms to stick out. There were two, dark holes for him to see through, and his legs were like boots that were made of stone.

Questionire laughed maniacally. "Come on! I have some memories to steal for Buck! Whose can I take?"

He got his answer as he turned and noticed 5 figures approach from afar. They were all 5 different colors respectively from right to left: White, Blue, Red, Yellow, and Green.

"Ah, the Rangers!" He spoke.

Donnie grunted as he pulled out his staff and lunged at the monster, holding his staff up high for the strike, but the monster rolled to his left and dodged, causing Donnie to land on his feet.

Donnie turned and tried to swing at Questionire, but this monster was highly skilled in martial combat, as he was able to dominate Donnie even though the latter had a weapon.

Questionire then pointed his hand towards Donnie and shot an energy blast that sent Donnie back. Donnie groaned as the other came to his aid.

"Donnie!" Bonnie exclaimed, helping her brother up. Both she and Max then turned their attention towards the monster, who was hopping in hysteric excitement.

"Hahahahaha! You Rangers are lamer than I thought. I heard you guys were the almighty Power Rangers! What a joke!"

Bonnie growled as she pulled out her staff. I could finally prove myself.

She charged at the monster, but Questionire was even quicker. He stopped Bonnie right then and there by grabbing hold of the top of her head. Bonnie then screeched and dropped her staff as she felt a painful migraine coming along. First, there was pain, then she became heavily confused as blue light was flashing from the monster's grip.

Once the monster mercifully let go of Bonnie, the White Ranger demorphed and collapsed onto the ground, moaning in pain.

"Well, gotta run!" Questionire spoke before teleporting away. The Rangers all rushed over to where Bonnie was, all of them demorphed as they came to aid their friend.

Donnie put his arms around his sister and helped her up. "Bonnie, you alright?"

Bonnie looked up at this boy who looked very mysterious to her. She looked around at the other three and was confused by their looks: one redhead, one dark-skinned, and one with pigtails.

Bonnie then glanced back over to the green-eyed boy. "Yeah, um...who are you?"

Donnie looked stunned, and so did the other Rangers. He looked at Max, who just gave him a confused look. Did Bonnie just ask her brother who he was? Was this some sort of sick joke? Bonnie is not the person to play those types of games.

DJ only chuckled. "Very funny, Bonnie, but you know exactly who we are."

The smirk quickly faded from the Blue Ranger's face as Bonnie shook her head. She was being deadly serious.

Donnie walked over to Max and spoke into his ear. "We need Ellie."

DJ and Maya's eyes averted towards one another before looking back at Bonnie, who was looking around her surroundings, feeling confused. This was serious, especially since that monster must have had something to do with this when he grabbed hold of Bonnie's mind for a good few seconds.

Maya approached Bonnie, who glanced at her. "Hey, do you know who you are?"

Bonnie squinted her eyes and scratched her chin. "Um, I am guessing I am Bonnie. Who are you?" She spoke with a curious look, almost like Dory from Finding Nemo.

Maya cringed. This was a tough challenge for the Rangers.

Po was amazed by the large, rectangular glass case of the blue serum he needed to maintain his power and survive the human world.

Sky stood next to him. "This is all the serum you need to battle the Rangers."

Buck stood by Po's other side, stroking his baton. "I see you plan on visiting the Rangers soon."

Po snickered. "Yes," he growled. "Soon, they will regret the times they have messed with Po."

Buck snickered and turned, he had a trick up his sleeve. If only Po knew that his "servant" had interfered with the development of the serum. Buck, in his mind, was a one-man leader. He didn't need anyone to serve, but he would rather have people serve him.

Bonnie was back to wearing her white, sleeveless t-shirt with blue jeans as she sat in Karate Operation, amazed at how futuristic it was for a dojo.

"Wow, who designed all of this," she spoke with amazement. Ellie, who was sitting at the monitor, looked to her right where the other 4 Rangers stood and gave Max a questionable look. She forgot everything.

Max nodded. Ellie stood up and approached Bonnie. "Hello, I was the one who designed this. Do you not remember?"

Bonnie was baffled. "Really? Unbelievable! You are my age!"

"Well, I am gifted," Ellie said with a smile before averting back to a frown. "Do you seriously don't remember anything?"

"I am clueless. That green-eyed boy over there who looks like me keeps telling me that I am his sister, but he won't answer me when I ask where our parents are."

Ellie glanced over at Donnie, who gave her a sad look. She walked over to the other Rangers and spoke. "Bad news, if you guys destroy that monster before Bonnie gets her memories back, she will remain like this forever.

Donnie's eyes widened with fear. The other Rangers gave fearful looks as they watched as Bonnie was behaving so unlike herself, playing around with her hair.

What could the Rangers do now?
