Bunga the Wise

A thunderstorm arrived at the Pride Lands, causing a torrential downpour, and the Lion Guard was soaked, but that didn't stop them from trying to save some baboons whose tree was about to fall off a cliff and Beshte was holding onto it to make sure it didn't fall, but he was struggling as the cliff became slippery and intense from the storm.

"Baboons, you need to come down from the tree!" Kion called out, "It's not safe up there!"

"We're not coming down, we're dry up here," The baboon leader said, "We'll come down when the rain stops," he turned his head and crossed his arms over his chest.

"This guy is un-bunga-lievable!" Bunga said.

Kufu shook his head and groaned, "Jeez, now I understand why you don't like baboons so much, Fuli."

"Ugh, baboons," Fuli groaned and rolled her eyes.

The Baboons continued to jump around the tree and whoop, which was causing the tree to be more unsteady for the hippo to hold and the roots were beginning to snap.

"Kion, the tree's gonna go," the Strongest informed, "And I don't wanna go with it."

The tree was getting closer to the edge and the baboons were whimpering and cowering.

"Calm down," the baboon leader said, "As long as we stay dry, whoo-whoo, everything will be fine."

"No it won't!" Ono exclaimed as he flew over to the baboon leader, "Your tree is about to fall off a cliff."

"He's right, look," a female baboon said, holding her baby to her chest, pointing at the edge of the cliff.

The baboons were now freaking out even more and started to go to the side of the tree that was teetering near the edge, which was putting more weight on Beshte to hold.

"No, stay on this side of the tree!" The leader of the Lion Guard yelled out to the primates.

"Can't... hold...on...much...longer," Beshte struggled.

The cheetah then looked at her leader, "Ki, do you have any ideas on how to get these baboons down?"

"I do have one idea," the Fiercest replied and then he glanced over to the Strongest, "Beshte, do you think you could take a little bit more weight?"

The hippo grunted, getting his foot back before it slipped, "Sure but whatever you're gonna do, make it quick, please."

Kion nodded and then looked at the honey badger and the Slyest, "Bunga, climb up there and scare some baboons down while Kufu helps the others down."

A wide grin spread across the Bravest's face, "No problem," he saluted and then looked at Kufu, "Come on, Kufu, Zuka Zama!" He started to climb the tree.

Kufu sighed and shook his head, "Well, thank goodness I know how to climb things, Huwezi Kuniona!" He called out as he climbed the tree, following Bunga.

They both reached the top of the tree and the baboons.

"Alright, baboonies, you can thank me later," Bunga said, cracking his knuckles.

Kufu sighed, "Oh boy, this is gonna stink," he held his breath.

Bunga turned around and lifted his rear end towards the primates and let out a huge gas cloud and some baboons jumped off the tree, two of them landing on Fuli's back and Kion saved the baby before it went over the cliff, and Kufu got the remaining baboons off the tree and then he and Bunga jumped down, and Beshte let go of the tree and it fell over the cliff, shattering into pieces.

"Ugh, you two can get off my back now," Fuli glared at the two baboons on her back.

"We'll get down," the baboon leader whooped, "When the rain stops," he crossed his arms.

"Ugh, baboons," Fuli said, rolling her eyes.

Soon, it stopped raining and the Lion Guard dried themselves off and went to a nearby valley, the sky cleared up but with a few dark clouds appearing.

"Whew!" Bunga said as he collapsed on his back, "I'm beat."

"Don't get too comfortable," Ono said, landing on a rock nearby, "There's bound to be another storm coming."

"Oh, come on, another storm coming?" Fuli complained, laying down on the grass, "We're still cleaning up the mess from the last one."

"It's the rainy season, Fuli," Kufu reminded, "What do you expect, the snowy season?"

"Poa! Who knew a tree full of baboons could be so heavy, I need a rest," Beshte said as he collapsed on his belly with a little groan.

"OK, everyone, you can all take a breather," Kion told his friends, "You earned it."

Fuli stretched her limbs and then looked at Kion, "But what about you, Ki, you worked as hard as we did?"

"I'll be fine, Fuli," Kion reassured, "I'm just gonna look around for a little while you all rest."

"Don't worry, Kion, you do you and I'll keep an eye on them to make sure they don't cause any trouble," Kufu said, "And by 'they', I mean Bunga."

Kion and Kufu shared a laugh together.

"Thanks, Kufu," Kion walked off down the hill. He helped a butterfly out of the mud and then he noticed the damage all over the Pride Lands, "Hevi Kabisa!" Kion sighed, "The storm has caused so much destruction," he then went to the edge of the hill and looked at the clouds, "Grandfather," Kion said, hesitantly.

The clouds started to form into Mufasa, "Yes, Kion, I'm here," he answered, smiling at his grandson.

"I was thinking that the rain's caused so many problems for the Pride Lands," Kion voiced, "What if I use the Roar to blow the storm clouds away?" he said with a raised eyebrow.

Mufasa chuckled, "The rain is part of the Circle of Life, Kion," he reminded, "The Pride Lands will need that water for the dry season."

"I guess you're right," Kion looked down and paced back and forth, "But I just thought it would be easier to..."

"Kion," Mufasa cut him off, "The easy solution is not always the best solution."

"Yes, Grandfather," Kion nodded and then Mufasa disappeared back in the clouds and he went back to his friends.

When Kion returned, he saw a large stream of water heading for them and he went over to them.

Meanwhile, Kufu was laying on the grass and keeping an eye on the others and they were taking a nap and then he looked at Fuli who turned over.

Fuli groaned a little bit, "Kion you really are fierce and strong," she said in her sleep.

Kufu snickered, "Ha! I'm never gonna let her live this down."

"Guys," everyone woke up and saw Kion running towards them, "Get up, break's over."

"What's the kerbubble, Kion?" Beshte asked, then water went over them and they realized what Kion meant.

Then the water went over to Kufu and he stood up, spitting out water that got in his mouth, "Hey, where the heck did this water come from?"

Bunga, Fuli, and Kufu went to where Beshte was, blocking some water to stay dry, and Ono flew on his back.

"What's going on here?" Fuli asked, "There's never been a river here before."

"Ono, take a look to see where the water is coming from," Kion told the Keenest of Sight.

"Affirmative!" Ono said before he flew off Beshte's back to see where the water was coming from, "Lake Kiziwa," he told the Guard, "It's too full and the water's pouring out."

"Ugh, the last rainstorm is still causing some trouble," Kufu groaned.

"It's getting worse, guys," Ono called out, flying to the Guard.

"Lion Guard, we need to do something before the water floods the whole valley," Kion told the Guard.

"Hey, I got an idea," Bunga said, causing everyone to look at him.

Bunga's idea was to knock over a pile of rocks near Lake Kiziwa to create a dam over the lake.

"Come on, Beshte, we gotta block it up!" Bunga exclaimed.

"Twende Kiboko!" Beshte said as he did one final push and the rocks tumbled down, blocking the water from the lake.

"Wow!" Kufu said, impressed.

"Nice," Fuli said, impressed as well.

Thurston the zebra trotted over to the dam, "Oh my!" He exclaimed, "Whose idea was this?"

"Mine," Bunga answered, leaning against the rocks, "Pretty awesome, huh?"

"Impressive," Shingo the giraffe said, "What a great idea."

"And do you know what makes this a great idea?" Bunga questioned, "It was so simple to do, quick and easy."

"I don't know, Bunga," Kion said, standing behind Bunga, "The easy solution is not always the best."

"Kion has a point," Kufu spoke up, "My moms told me the same thing. You can't always take the quick and easy route."

"Well, it sure worked for this dam," Shingo noted.

A string of water began to leak out from the dam.

"Uh-oh! What do we do about that?" Kion raised a brow to Bunga.

Bunga wondered for a moment before he picked up a stick and slammed it into the hole of the dam, "There we go, put a stick in it, that's my advice," he said, crossing his arms and smiling.

"Hey, it worked!" Thurston noted, "What a good idea."

"Yeah, he gives great advice," Shingo agreed.

"Good idea? great advice?" Fuli repeated, "You guys know you're talking about Bunga, right?"

"Don't be so surprised," everyone turned to see Rafiki, who came down from a tree, with some fruit in his arms, "Honey badgers are the Pride Lands' smartest animals when..." he was then cut off when some fruit fell on the ground.

"Did you hear that? I'm the Pride Lands' smartest animal!" Bunga gloated, "Rafiki said so. I'm smart and give good advice. Say, wait until my uncles hear about this," he rushed towards Hakuna Matata Falls.

The Lion Guard looked at each other and chased after Bunga.

"Bunga, wait up!" Kion called out.

Kufu sighed and shook his head, "I can already tell that this is gonna end very badly," he ran off with the others.

Rafiki picked up the last fruit that fell and continued what he was saying, "Yes, honey badgers are the Pride Lands' smartest animals when they think before they act, but if they do not, it will be a total disaster," he laughed but saw no one was around and he shrugged, going back to his tree.

But what everyone didn't know was that some water began to drip from the spot where Bunga put the stick.

"Bunga, wait up!" Kion called out to Bunga, still chasing after him with the Guard following behind but he was too far ahead.

"Um, a little help here," a voice called out, stopping the Guard in their tracks belonging to a turtle laying on his back, struggling to get up.

"Oh, shoot, we forgot to flip the turtles," Kufu remembered.

"Sorry about that," Kion apologized, flipping the turtle over with his nose.

"Thank you," the turtle said before walking away.

The rest of the Guard flipped over the remaining turtles and watched them walk away.

"There you go, little guys, well the turtles are all flipped," Beshte said.

"Did we forget anything else, Ki?" Fuli asked, glancing at Kion.

"The porcupine brothers," Kion answered.

"Though it would be easier if we had Bunga to help," Kufu said, looking at Ono, "Ono, do you think you can find him?"

Ono gave a nod and then flew off.

The remaining four members found the log where the porcupine brothers live and flipped it over, dumping the water out of it.

"there you go, guys, see you next time," Kion said, giving a smile to the porcupines.

"Thanks," the porcupine brothers said as they went back into their log.

"Every storm is the same thing," Fuli noted, "Don't you think they should just move?"

"Fuli has a point there," Kufu agreed.

"They like it here," Beshte reminded, "It's cozy."

Fuli rolled her eyes and they walked away, "Yeah, well, how cozy do you really want to be if you're a porcupine?"

The Guard went towards the snakes den, they all circled around and looked down the hole.

"OK, now, who wants to go in and make sure Ushari and the cobras are not stuck in the mud?" Kion asked.

Kufu rolled his eyes, "Ugh, can't we just leave Ushari stuck in the mud?"

Kion glared at Kufu, "Kufu, the Lion Guard's duty is to help animals in need of help," he reminded, "Just put your hatred for Ushari aside for a while."

"Fine," Kufu said, rolling his eyes, "But this doesn't mean I'm gonna like him."

"Wouldn't expect you to," Kion said.

Fuli sighed in annoyance, "At times like this, we really need Bunga."

"Everyone," the Guard turned to see Ono flying towards them, "You gotta see what's going on at Hakuna Matata Falls."

When the Lion Guard arrived at Hakuna Matata Falls, their eyes went wide when they saw a bunch of various animals lined up outside of a large baobab tree.

"Hevi Kabisa!" Kion gasped, "What's all of this?"

"Rafiki says he's the wisest..." Thurston started.

"Of all the animals..." Shingo followed.

"In the whole Pride Lands," a male mongoose said.

"Ooh, amazing," Mbuni the ostrich said.

Kufu scoffed and rolled his eyes, "Oh, great, here we go, what is Bunga doing this time?"

"That's what we're about to find out, Kufu," Kion answered.

The Guard went to the entrance of the baobab tree and was about to go in until Timon and Pumbaa blocked their paths.

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" Timon halted, "Not so fast, kids."

"If you wanna see him, you gotta wait in line," Pumbaa added.

"See who?" Kion asked, glancing at Kufu and Fuli.

"Bunga the Wise," Timon and Pumbaa answered.

"The sage of Hakuna Matata Falls," Pumbaa added.

"The what?" The Guard exclaimed.

Kufu rolled his eyes again, "Oh boy, they're gonna give us a song that tells us all about this."

"Seriously?" Fuli asked.

Timon and Pumbaa then started to dance in front of the tree and the animals swayed back and forth.

Timon and Pumbaa:

Here's one honey badger who's smart as can be

Timon:

He's smarter than Pumbaa

Pumbaa:

He's smarter than me?

Timon:

It may sound kooky, but it came from Rafiki

Pumbaa:

He's one smart cookie

Timon:

He's amazingly geeky

Timon and Pumbaa:

His IQ's off the charts

He out-thinks the best of us

Pumbaa:

But he's also got heart

Timon and Pumbaa:

So he'll think for the rest of us

Sooooo, Step right up, meet Bunga the Wise

The wisest of all and he loves to advise

If you're feeling down and don't know what to do

Let Bunga the Wise do your thinking for you

The meerkat and warthog slipped their heads in through the tree.

"Kid, that's your cue," Timon whispered.

"Come on, Bunga you know what to do," Pumbaa followed.

Bunga then jumped out of the tree and landed on his feet, "Guess who?"

Bunga:

So, step right up, meet Bunga the Wise

The wisest of all and I love to advise

If you're feeling down and don't know what to do

Let Bunga the Wise do your thinking for you

The Lion Guard was looking at all of this and they were confused and shocked.

"My brain is in pain right now," Kufu said.

"You and me both, Kufu," Fuli agreed.

Bunga then paraded down the animals, donning a hat that's made of the top of a gourd.

Bunga:

So, ask any questions, I'll tell you my thoughts

Those strips don't suit you, I changed them to spots

Your beard looks out

You gnus outta shave 'em

Give me your grubs

I'll be sure to save them

Bunga then joined his adopted uncles at the base of the baobab tree and formed a pyramid with Pumbaa at the bottom, Bunga in the middle, and Timon at the top.

"He can solve almost any problem conceivable," Timon bragged.

"I got so much wisdom, it's unbungalievable!" Bunga exclaimed as he and Timon jumped off of Pumbaa's back.

Timon, Pumbaa, and Bunga:

Step right up, meet Bunga the Wise

The wisest of all and he loves to advise

If you're feeling down and don't know what to do

Let Bunga the Wise do your thinking for you

The animals, minus the Lion Guard, joined in on the song.

Animals:

Step right up, meet Bunga the Wise

The wisest of all and he loves to advise

If you're feeling down and don't know what to do

Pumbaa:

Let Bunga the Wise

Timon:

Bunga the Wise

Bunga:

Bunga the Wise

Timon, Pumbaa, and Bunga:

Do your thinking for you!

The animals cheered in excitement as Bunga waved to them all after the song ended.

"Thank you, thank you very much, I'm here 'till Thursday," Bunga grinned, not watching where he was going, "Nice of you to drop by," he grunted when he bumped into Shingo's leg.

"Bunga the Wise, everyone thinks I'm so stuck-up because my head is so up in the sky, what do I do?" Shingo asked, looking down at the honey badger.

"Is he serious right now?" Fuli asked, glancing at Kufu and Kion.

"This is Bunga we're talking about, Fuli, of course he's serious," Kufu groaned and shook his head, "Sometimes I question why we're friends with him."

Kion sighed, "Lion Guard, let's go deal with this."

Bunga continued answering questions to animals until Timon stepped in, "Alright, alright, everyone, back in line," he ordered, "No more freebies."

"Don't worry," Pumbaa reassured, "You all will get your turn, eventually."

Timon stood beside his adoptive nephew and took his arm, "Come on, kid, er, I mean your sage-iness," he led Bunga back to the tree when Timon saw the Lion Guard heading towards them, "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" The meerkat halted as the Guard stopped in their tracks, "What part of 'wait in line' did you kids not understand?"

"Give me a break, Timon," Fuli hissed, "We need to talk to Bunga, now!"

"It's Bunga the Wise," Pumbaa corrected.

Kufu rolled his eyes, "There is no way in the world I'm calling him that."

"Me neither," Fuli agreed.

Bunga poked his head out of the tree, "Oh, hey, guys, I didn't see you there," he waved, "Come on in."

"Fine, but make it fast," Timon sighed, "We got lots of folks here waiting their turn."

The Lion Guard went inside the tree, although Beshte had trouble getting in, "I'll just wait out here."

Inside, they saw Bunga resting on one of the large roots and went up to him.

"Bunga, what's going on here?" Kion asked.

"Are you seriously giving all of those animals advice?" Fuli questioned, standing beside Kion.

"That's right," Bunga confirmed, "You heard Rafiki: I'm super smart," he then removed the gourd hat and dropped it on Ono's head.

"Hey, who turned out the lights?" Ono asked. Kufu went up to him and took the gourd off his head and Ono landed on Kufu's back.

"Remember, I had the great idea to stop the lake from flooding," Bunga continued, "So I had an even greater idea: I can help every animal in the Pride Lands by telling them what to do," he jumped to his feet and bumped his head on a low hanging gourd.

"Seriously?" Fuli sighed.

Kion stepped forward, "Bunga, you're already helping every animal in the Pride Lands. You're on the Lion Guard."

"Kion's right, Bunga," Kufu agreed, nodding his head, "You're the Pride Lands' Bravest."

"But I'm also the smartest," Bunga pointed out, "It's difficult being so gifted."

"Alright, time's up!" Timon called out, getting in between Bunga and the Guard, "Folks outside ain't getting any smarter," he rushed them out of the tree.

"Thanks for coming over, you guys!" Bunga called out, "Next time, please make an appointment," he turned and bumped his head on the gourd again.

"If you ask me, Bunga is the one animal in the Pride Lands who should never be giving any advice," Fuli stated as she and the rest of the Guard continued with their morning patrol.

"I agree with Fuli," Kufu agreed, "Bunga shouldn't be doing this at all."

"Why's that, guys?" Beshte asked.

"Because he never thinks things through," Fuli answered, "He always jumps in head first for everything."

"Fuli's right," Kufu nodded, "It's because of Bunga we always find ourselves in trouble every single time when we were little," Kufu and Fuli then shared a look with Kion.

"I guess, but he did stop the lake from flooding," Beshte noted with Ono nodding in agreement.

Kion shrugged, "They got a point, you two, but I'm also getting a bad feeling about this," he admitted.

The Guard walked past the rock dam and the stick was pushed out of the hole by a small spurt of water that created a small river heading towards the valley bellow.

The Guard was doing their patrol until something caught their attention which was Mbuni, whose head was buried in a hole.

"I didn't think ostriches could do that," Fuli said, blinking her eyes.

"They don't," Ono and Kufu chorused.

"And I don't think she likes it very much," Kion added, "Come on," they went over to Mbuni, "Fuli, Kufu, grab a tail feather," Kion glanced at Kufu and Fuli on either side of him and all three felines grabbed a part of the ostrich's tail and they pulled back with Beshte lifting her neck.

Mbuni gasped for air once she was free, "Thank you," she said, "It was hard to breathe down there," she spat out sand, some of it landing on Ono.

"Hey, watch where you're spitting!" Ono muttered as he flew over, landing on Beshte's back, "Tall birds."

"Are you alright, Mbuni?" Kion asked.

"I am now, thanks," Mbuni replied, coughing.

"So, question, why did you stick your head in the sand in the first place?" Kufu questioned.

"Bunga the Wise said that it was the best way to avoid seeing a hyena," Mbuni answered, "And he's the smartest animal there is," she smiled and walked away from the Guard.

Kufu and Fuli glanced at Kion, giving a little 'hmph' to which he heard.

"Don't say it, you two," Kion warned.

Kufu rolled his eyes and looked at Ono, "Hey, Ono, think you can see if there's anything else going on?"

"I'm on it," Ono said, flying off of Beshte's back until he saw some bushbucks, "Everyone, I see some bushbucks heading towards a field with some pink flowers."

"Pink flowers," Kufu repeated, then his eyes widened, "Oh-no! They can't eat those flowers, they'll get sick from them."

"How do you know that Kufu?" Beshte asked.

"My moms teach me a lot about all kinds of flowers and right now they're teaching me about tuliza and what they can do," Kufu answered, "But those flowers are not edible and are very poisonous."

The Lion Guard rushed over to the bushbucks and halted them from eating the flowers.

"Hey, what are you doing?" The herd leader asked.

"You shouldn't eat these," Kufu informed, "Because these flowers will make you very sick."

"But Bunga the Wise said that pink flowers were the tastiest," the leader defended, "And he's the smartest animal there is."

Kufu rolled his eyes, "Of course he did. Bunga knows nothing about which flowers are which," he said, glancing at Kion with a raised eyebrow and Fuli was doing the same.

"I know what you're both thinking," Kion met their eyes.

Then they heard a voice call out for help from a nearby canyon.

"Ugh, now what?" Fuli groaned.

They rushed towards the canyon and saw a male oryx on a rock on the cliff.

"Hang on!" Kion called out to the bovine, "We'll get you out."

"Please," the oryx pleaded, "I don't like high places."

Kion glanced to Fuli, "Fuli, you pick a horn," then he glanced at Kufu, "Kufu, tell us when to pull," he looked to Ono, "And Ono, get the oryx to calm down and not move while Fuli and I pull."

Ono flew down and calmed down the oryx and with Kufu's signal, Kion and Fuli grunted and groaned as they backed up and pulled the oryx out of the cliff.

"Thank you so much," the oryx said after he caught his breath.

"How did you get trapped there?" Ono asked, joining the rest of the Guard.

"No, wait, let me guess, it was advice from Bunga the Wise, wasn't it?" Kufu asked with an unimpressed tone.

"Why, yes, it was," the oryx confirmed, "I asked him the fastest way across the canyon and he just said to jump."

Kufu and Fuli cleared their throats and glanced to Kion with a stern look and Kion sighed and rolled his eyes.

"OK, guys, go ahead and say it," Kion groaned.

"We told you Bunga shouldn't be handing out advice!" Fuli exclaimed.

"Fuli's right," Kufu agreed, "We need to head back to Hakuna Matata Falls and tell him to stop before his advice really hurts someone or worse."

"Do we have to stand in line again?" Beshte wondered, aloud.

"I don't think so, 'cause look," Ono pointed to a direction where a large group of animals were parading around Bunga and singing.

Animals:

Bunga, Bunga, ho, make way make way

He's the wisest we know

Make way for Bunga the Wise

Make way for Bunga the Wise

Bunga, Bunga, hey Bunga, Bunga ho

Make way, make way he's the wisest we know

Make way for Bunga the Wise

The Guard watched with wide eyes and in confusion.

"What in the Pride Lands is that supposed to be?" Kufu gasped.

Fuli's mouth fell open and she blinked in confusion, "Well, now I've seen everything."

"Come on," Kion motioned the Guard and went over to Bunga.

"Oh, hey guys," Bunga greeted his friends, "Don't stop," he told a baby elephant behind him who held a large leaf with his trunk to continue fanning him.

"Bunga, what are you doing?" Kion questioned.

"Bunga's advice was so popular, we decided to take it on the road," Pumbaa answered.

"Bunga the Wise - The Pride Lands Tour," Timon pitched.

"I advise you to come along with us," Bunga added.

"That sounds like trouble," Ono muttered from his perch on Beshte's back.

"Bunga, you need to stop this," Kufu spoke up, glaring at the honey badger, "We already have enough problems trying to deal with a rain storm and your bad advice is making things worse, you idiot."

Bunga gasped a little too dramatically, "Me, bad advice and an idiot?"

"What?" Pumbaa questioned, rhetorically.

All of the animals in the parade gasped, loudly.

"No!" Thurston shouted.

"Rafiki said that Bunga was smart," the male mongoose reminded.

"You see, Kufu, everyone loves my advice," Bunga pointed out, "They wouldn't know what to do without it, am I right?" The animals cheered in agreement, showing proof of his statement.

"And Bunga gives good advice," Pumbaa defended, "And he is not an idiot."

"You said it, Pumbaa," Timon agreed, "He's even giving the Lion Guard advice. Anybody remember a little thing called - the dam?" He asked, pointing to the dam blocking Lake Kiziwa behind him and a bunch of animals cheered, "That's right!" Timon exclaimed, poking at Kufu's nose before motioning to his nephew, "His idea, his advice, problem solved, the end."

Everyone then heard a loud rumble and they turned to see the rocks give way and a large rush of water washed out, heading towards them.

Kufu gave a side-eyed glance at Timon, "You were saying, meerkat?"

Timon cleared his throat, "And now, I have some advice for everyone," he said, calmly, "Run!" Timon yelled, causing every animal to panic and run into the valley while Timon and Pumbaa headed back to Hakuna Matata Falls.

"We've gotta get those animals to safety," Kion said to the Guard, "Let's go!"

As the Guard raced towards the valley, Bunga stood there, motionless and looking between his friends heading towards the danger and his family running away from it.

"Don't be a mook, kid," Timon called out from the cliff, "Head for the hills!"

"But I'm a member of the Lion Guard, I can't let my friends down," Bunga realized, "Hey, guys, wait for me," he ran after his friends.

Kion alerted the buffalo herd about the raging water and led them to a safer place, Kufu followed behind with a zebra herd and the male mongoose on his back, Fuli caught up, carrying a lone hedgehog, Beshte followed up with some giraffes and Mbuni the ostrich, and Bunga ran up to Beshte with the baby elephant behind him.

"Hurry!" Kion called out to the Guard, "Into the canyon."

"Come on, kid, run!" Bunga urged the small elephant, "Take my advice, don't look back."

As Kion came to a split end, he looked to Ono, "Ono, which way do we go?"

Ono flew up and tried to find a way out of the canyon, but the right side led to a cliff, so he motioned to go left, "Left! Go left!"

Kion led the animals down the left path with Kufu running by his side and then Ono flew again.

"Kion, Kufu, it's a dead end!" Ono alerted, halting the two cubs as they saw the wall.

The rest of the animals did the same thing, creating a large pile up of various animals.

"Well, that's just great," Kufu groaned, rolling his eyes.

"The walls are too steep to climb," Beshte noted.

Fuli walked up and stood next to Kion, "Kion, the water is getting closer, what do we do?"

"Don't ask Kion," Thurston said, "Ask Bunga the Wise," he looked at the honey badger.

"Bunga the Wise!" The baby elephant exclaimed.

"What do we do?" the hedgehog quivered.

"Tell us," Thurston begged.

"Uhh... I don't know," Bunga answered, shrugging his shoulders, "Kion's the only one who knows what to do with this kinda stuff," he pointed to the prince, "Right, Kion?" Bunga looked at Kion with an apologetic smile.

"Bunga's right," Kion nodded, "But it's not exactly quick and easy so, everyone, get behind me," he then stood on a sloped rock, firm and tall.

"He means it, guys," Kufu warned, "Get behind him, now."

As the water came up from behind the bend, Kion used the Roar and it pushed the water back and out of the way, causing some rocks to fall off the canyon not only to secure safety, but to create a way out.

Everything was now peaceful in the Pride Lands and everyone was relaxing near the watering hole.

"I like this view," Kufu said, laying down on a rock near the watering hole.

"Me too," Kion agreed, laying on the rock above him with Fuli by his side.

"This is a great place to rest up after a rain storm," Beshte noted, standing in the watering hole.

"Until the next one," Ono reminded on a tree above the three felines.

Fuli stretched her limbs, "Yeah, now I think after the craziness that's happened today, I'm gonna take a little nap," she said as she lied down and closed her eyes.

"OK then, Fuli," Kufu looked to see if Kion was listening and he's already taking a nap, then he smirked, "That way, you can continue dreaming about your 'strong' and 'fierce' prince again," he teased, causing Ono and Beshte to laugh.

Fuli's eyes shot wide open as she blushed. She then glared at Kufu and pushed him into the water to quiet him.

Meanwhile, Bunga was humming to himself as he was walking around the watering hole and then he saw a spot to relax, "That spot with the flowers looks like a perfect place to relax," he decided to walk towards the flowers.

"I would not lie there if I were you," Rafiki warned as he was meditating on a nearby rock.

"Come on, Rafiki," Bunga scoffed, "I'm the smartest animal around, you said so yourself," he reminded.

"You did not hear everything I said," Rafiki noted, "I said that honey badgers are only smart when they think things through."

"Think things through?" Bunga repeated in mid-air and landed in a pool of mud that's in the flowers, "Huh, I guess I'm not so wise after all," he shrugged, "Oh, well, I can live with that," Bunga folded his claws over the back of his head and continued to relax.

A/N: And here's Bunga the Wise! Fun fact: This was actually the first episode I ever saw of The Lion Guard when it first released on Disney Junior. I thought it would be a baby show, but after I saw this episode, it seems more like a show for Disney XD or Disney Channel instead and there seems to be a tie with having Ono's love interest be either Anga or a male OC. I'll give it till the next chapter for a tie breaker. If it's still a tie, then we'll just go with Anga.

Next up: Kiara has to be queen while Simba and Nala are heading to a funeral

Here's the cast list for the episode:

Max Charles as Kion, Caleel Harris as Kufu, Joshua Rush as Bunga, Diamond White as Fuli, Atticus Shaffer as Ono, Dusan Brown as Beshte, Nathan Lane as Timon, Ernie Sabella as Pumbaa, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Khary Payton as Rafiki, Kevin Schon as Thurston, Phil Lamarr as Shingo, Russi Taylor as Mbuni, Cam Clarke as the mongoose, Dee Bradley Baker as the baboon leader, Kari Wahlgren as the baboon mother, Nick Watt as the bushbuck leader, Natalie Coughlin as the baby elephant.
