Chapter four: Inasa Yoarashi vs. Wendy Marvell (Boku no Hero Academia vs. Fairy Tail)
Inasa Yoarashi was helping Shiketsu High School deal with some persons who showed up during a mission. Said persons weren't necessarily villains, but they were all persistently getting in the way. Well regardless, Inasa, using his quirk Whirlwind, was tossing about all of the bothersome persons, all the while laughing boisterously.
"Ah ha ha ha!" Inasa laughed, "I am the master of winds! There's no way you lot can best me!"
Inasa was laughing as his conjured winds were blowing everyone around. However, the winds he was generating suddenly stilled and were then, to his surprise, sucked up, as if they were all being sucked up by a vacuum. After the conjured winds were all gone, everything was still and silent, but Inasa did hear a loud, but oddly cute in a way, belch.
A moment after that, Inasa heard a girl's voice yell out, "Sky Dragon's Roar!" A whirrling tunnel of winds flew right at Inasa, making him leap out of the way to avoid the attack. After he got out of the way, Inasa saw a little girl, no older than twelve, jump up from behind something and land on an overturned car, making herself visible.
Pointing right at Inasa, the girl in question declared to him, "I'm Wendy Marvell, and you had just messed with Fairy Tail! I hope you're ready, because I'm going to beat you and defend my friends!"
Getting over the surprise of being so suddenly challenged, and by a young girl no less, Inasa gave a firm, serious look right at Wendy. "You must be a pretty confident young lady," Inasa said, "To boldly challenge me as you have! Let us see if you can stand up to my mastery of the winds themselves!"
Wendy gave an even look to her quirked opponent. "...The winds will answer to me more than they shall answer to you."
Inasa was starting to get a little bit annoyed with Wendy at this point. "Your petulance shall be your undoing, young lady!" Inasa boasted, right before using his quirk to cast a tornado beam of some sort right at Wendy. Inasa was confident that he'd be able to best Wendy with this move, there are a scant few people who can take it.
...As such, Inasa was actually a little bit on the confused side when he saw that Wendy was making no movement to dodge the attack, or even try anything to block it. He then saw that Wendy looked like she was opening her mouth, as if to suck something up. Inasa had no idea whatsoever what the petulant little girl before him was up to.
At least until he saw her literally suck up his tornado attack, as if she were a vacuum that sucked up winds like normal vacuums sucked up dust and dirt. After she ate Inasa's attack, Wendy let out another oddly cute sounding belch before she shouted, "Sky Dragon's Claw!"
She rushed at Inasa and swiped at him, casting blades of wind that tore at what was in their path. Inasa, acting alarmed due to facing an opponent who could literally eat his attacks, jumped back to get some distance from Wendy. As such, he only took a grazing hit on his right shin. But that hit did tear through his costume and strike his leg just hard enough to make a cut that drew blood.
After he got distance from Wendy, Inasa said, "What manner of quirk do you have that lets you make even my mastery over the winds look like a kid waving a fan?!"
Wendy looked at Inasa with a confused look. "Quirk? What's a quirk?" Wendy asked, "Whatever it is, I don't have it. What I'm using is magic!"
Inasa looked stunned. "M-Magic?!" Inasa said.
"Specifically, I'm using Sky Dragon Slayer magic!" Wendy said, "I'm a Sky Dragon Slayer mage!" Holding both of her hands back, Wendy then cast them forward as she shouted, "Sky Dragon's Wave Wind!" Wendy then threw both of her hands forward, sending a wave of winds at Inasa that soon turned into a reddish tornado of winds.
Inasa was thrown back by the force of Wendy's magic, barely able to right himself in the air after he had been thrown around. He was getting annoyed at this point, not to mention a little scared. ...Wait, Inasa just realized that he was scared of Wendy, a little girl. A little girl was making him, Inasa, the master of winds, scared of her.
...It's on now.
"Try to eat all of this!" Inasa yelled as he cast a vast sweeping area of winds with his quirk, kicking up all sorts of debris that flew at Wendy. Seeing the debris, Wendy jumped back and moved around in order to get out of the way of Inasa's wild and desperate attack. However, a chunk of debris the size of a folded up standard sized wallet struck Wendy on her right shin, leaving a bruise that also bled a bit at the debris bit had a point.
"Aha!" Inasa said, seeing that he had actually managed to inflict a hit on Wendy, "Now you see that there is no doubt to my mastery over the wi-"
"Heal!" Wendy cut in, interrupting Inasa as she used magic on herself. Inasa then saw it as what little damage he had been able to inflict on Wendy was healed up more or less instantly, as if Inasa had never managed to actually do anything to her.
Pointing right at Wendy with a dry, monotone expression, Inasa said, "Alright then, young lady. Now that's just not fair."
"Vernier!" Wendy called out as she glowed with magic. She then glowed with a different color when she said, "Arms!" And then another color when she said, "Armor!"
Looking curious, Inasa said, "What was all of tha-"
"Enchantments to strengthen myself in battle!" Wendy cut in, before rushing in and striking Inasa in the gut with a kick.
"Gaahh!" Inasa called out, coughing up some spit as Wendy had hit him in the gut with her kick WAY harder than what he was expecting. He was thrown back, scrambling to right himself up as Wendy threw her arms back to cast another spell.
"Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!" Wendy called out, throwing her arms forward and casting a series of greenish colored blades of wind at Inasa. He barely got out of the way of that onslaught, although he did take a grazing hit to his left arm that tore through his costume and drew blood.
Inasa cast a tornado beam of some sort right at Wendy, who this time called out, "Sky Dragon's Roar!" and breathed a similar attack right back, as if she was able to cast the winds themselves as a breath weapon. The two beams of winds collided into one another, creating a burst of wind that knocked both Inasa and Wendy away.
Inasa and Wendy were both able to right themselves before they looked right back at one another. "...Heh, I have to admit it," Inasa began, "You've got yourself a pretty good command over the winds there, little lady. Almost as good as my own. Perhaps you ought to become my apprentice, I could teach you so much."
Wendy gave Inasa an annoyed, pouty expression in return. "You attacked my friends in Fairy Tail!" Wendy said, "You were even laughing boastfully about it while doing so! No way will I ever join you! You're... you're... you're a big fat meanie!"
Giving Wendy a wry, dry look, Inasa said, "Big fat meanie. Really."
"I'm not good at insults, okay?!" Wendy snapped, "If you want to be insulted, ask Big Bro Natsu or Big Bro Gajeel to do it! They have no issue with insulting people!" Wendy then rushed at Inasa again and took another swipe at him as she called out, "Sky Dragon's Claw!"
Inasa had to jump out of the way again to avoid getting hit, although one of the swipes from that Sky Dragon's Claw hit his already existing wound on his leg. Inasa flew back to get distance away from Wendy before he shouted, "I tried to show leniency towards you, young lady! I was trying to be the good cop here! But it's clear that you want be to play bad cop instead!"
Inasa then threw both of his hands forward, sending an absurdly vast force of whipping winds right at Wendy. "Well then, if that's what you want, then that's what you'll get!" Inasa yelled, "I'll show you why I'm known as the master of winds!" All of those winds that Inasa was casting at Wendy would be rather bad if they actually hit her. But there was one thing that Inasa, in his frenzy, had forgotten.
Wendy can literally eat his attacks.
Wendy saw the big move that Inasa was casting coming right for her, so she proceeded to suck up all of the winds, helping herself to a very big meal in the process. About halfway through the attack, Inasa realized that his opponent was eating his attack again, and he was worried how strong it was going to make her given he was putting a LOT into this attack.
He got his answer when, after Wendy finished eating all of his attack, a burst of power came from her. When the dust settled, Inasa saw that Wendy's long blue pigtails were now in an unbound form that flew back, also her hair had a light pale purplish sort of hue instead of being blue. Additionally, what looked like feathers grew from her wrists, and Wendy's expression looked more... more savage than it did previously. Also it sort of looked like she had wings now.
Inasa was not expecting this out of Wendy. "Wh-What manner of power is this now?!" Inasa cried out, alarmed with the transformation that Wendy had just undergone.
"This is my Dragon Force state!" Wendy said, "That being said, I hope you're ready for a beating now! Sky Dragon's Roar!" Wendy cast another Sky Dragon's Roar at Inasa, who was clipped by it as he was starting to get too worn out to properly dodge attacks. Even though that attack only clipped him and didn't hit him head on, it STILL was way stronger than any attack he had felt from Wendy over the course of this fight.
Inasa, in a panic, cast more winds with his quirk at Wendy, but she just sucked it up and used the boost to power up her next Sky Dragon's Claw, more strikes from it hitting Inasa this time. Inasa was thrown back, coughing up some bile due to how hard he was hit in the gut by some of that attack from Wendy just now.
Wendy jumped back, took aim at Inasa as she threw her head back, before she threw it forward with a bellowing, shouting cry of, "SKY DRAGON'S ROAR!" Wendy fired her Sky Dragon's Roar spell right at Inasa, hitting him directly over his body as a whole. Inasa was thrown backwards until he ended up slamming his back into the side of a building.
Inasa, after he fell away from the building's side, stood for a moment before falling over onto the ground, enable to continue fighting. His beloved Shiketsu High School hat fell off of his head as he fell over. At around the time Inasa fell over, Wendy powered down out of her Dragon Force state and walked over to where Inasa lay defeated on the ground.
After she saw that Inasa wasn't going to be getting up, Wendy turned to leave, only to stop when she spotted Inasa's hat laying on the ground. "Ooh, a cute hat!" Wendy said, dashing over to pick it up. Wendy put the hat on as she said, "I'm keeping this!" She then turned around and dashed away.
Inasa, seeing Wendy run off with his hat, reached forward weakly, a despairing look on his face as Wendy ran off with his hat. "My... my hat..." Inasa said weakly, right before he passed out from a mix of injury and exhaustion.
WINNER: WENDY MARVELL
END, CHAPTER FOUR
Author's notes;
This chapter was a bit short compared to the previous one, but still I was able to get enough work for a chapter of decent length. Anyway, this fight saw high flying winds all around, and that was the theme of this fight. Winds. Well anyway, let's see what other fights 2025 has in store for us. There's more to come, so until then, take care.
Next time, on Fiction Fighters...
Ryoga Hibiki was fully dressed, even had his travel bag on over his back. He was ready to go out and meet with the opponent that he was slated to fight in an exhibition fight that was being held for some manner of charity event. Ryoga had no idea what charity was having money raised for it, but he was certain that he'd do far better in the fight than Ranma ever could.
"Heh," Ryoga chuckled to himself, "This will be almost too easy. My opponent should have been slated to fight Ranma instead. Then they'd actually stand a chance of winning." Ryoga then left his house and proceeded to make his way to where the scheduled fight was set to take place, eager to score a win and maybe get Akane to give up on Ranma and come to him.
...
Roronoa Zoro was dressed, had all three of his swords, and was ready to head on out to the fight he was scheduled to take part in. It was some manner of charity event where Zoro was to fight in an exhibition match against an opponent in order to help raise money for some sort of cause. Zoro had no idea what exactly the cause was, but he didn't exactly care about that.
All that he cared about was how he was going to get to have a match against an opponent who was apparently brave enough to face him in a one on one. "Heh, this is going to be interesting," Zoro said to himself as he left The Thousand Sunny and proceeded to make his way over to where he and his opponent were going to be having what's bound to be a good fight.
