Gasped when her entire body had turned to red and liquified. He pulled away and stepped back. The perfect figure of his love stood still in front of him. Then, to his horror, it melted and became a massive red puddle on the ground.
The puddle then separated into two equal halves. The two puddle then took on the form of red flames the size of a man.
Kenny stared at them for a moment.

He was knocked back and landed on the ground. However, as the area turned flaming orange, the black ground liquefied and Kenny slashed into it. First, he sank, but then resurfaced and broke threw the black surface of the dark-colored ocean. Kenny looked around, trying to understand what had happened.
Suddenly, the ocean started to rise up and Kenny grunted when he felt himself in a killing grip. His body was grabbed by a giant hand that belonged to a giant figure.
Only able to watch helplessly, Kenny was lifted up to be near the face of the figure. When he saw the shape of it, he knew who it was.
It was Aku, with no mouth or eyes, but he still had his flaming eyebrows.
That soon changed when Aku slowly opened his eyes and stared down at Kenny, who stared fearfully up at the Shogun of Sorrow.
Aku's head then lunged at Kenny and his laughter came out as everything went black.
"BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!"
Kenny gasped as he woke up.
Episode XXVI
"Summer Times"
After realizing it was just a nightmare and that he was still in bed early in the morning, Kenny looked to his right. He lover Rias was sleeping peacefully right next to him, naked as the day she was born like also ways. Holding onto his arm with her leg interwoven with his. Asia was there too, sleeping nude on his left. It was still getting used to having a harem, but he was managing it.

Seeing that she's being challenged, Rias gave Akeno a defiant smile. "Clever girl, but alas, you exposed yourself," she said, standing up on the bed. Akeno giggled and stood up to face her.
Kenny sighed, knowing that the two were going to get into another fight. Ever since starting his harem, it's been almost common to see the two friends fight over his affection. He loved both of them and they knew it, but that didn't stop Rias and Akeno from turning it into a compilation.

Rias was hit in the face. Rias grabbed it and keep it to her face as her anger grew. "And we'd just finished remodeling the house!" She yelled, pulling the pillow away and channeled her power into it. "Your behavior is unacceptable!"
She threw the pillow at Akeno, but it was destroyed by the priestess' lightning. "Nice try-not!" Akeno giggled as feathers fell all around them.
Kenny decided to stop the two and sat up. "Okay, that's enough. No fighting in the bedroom!" He yelled at the two, startling Rias and Akeno and getting them to stop. But then he was confused. "Wait, what do you mean remodeling?"
"KENNY!" Everyone in the room heard the voice of Karen.
Outside in front of the house, Karen had just come back from working late at the Fallen Angels HQ. When she arrived, she was expecting to return to the Kurosawa residence the way she left it. A normal two-story terrace house with a light blue exterior, a balcony on the second floor, and a brown roof.
What she wasn't expecting was to come home to a GIANT MANSION!
"WHAT DID YOUR GIRLFRIENDS DO?!"
After Karlamine set Kenny's breakfast on the table in front of him, the samurai looked up at his Knight maid and nodded with a smile. "Thank you, you girls can serve yourselves now," he said to the Phoenix Maids after breakfast was set. It was still weird to think he had maids, but Kenny was starting to get used to it.
The Phoenix Maids bowed their heads with smiles. "Thank you very much, master," they said and the went to the grab their breakfast. The four gorgeous maids then came back to the table that was five times wider than his old one. Gather around the table was Kenny, Karen, Rias, Akeno, Asia, Xenovia, and Koneko.
The mansion that they were now living in was indeed very impressive. It had six floors and three basements.
The first floor included guest rooms that were used by the maids, the living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and Japanese-styled rooms, also called washitsu. The second floor had Kenny's, Rias', and Asia's rooms, with Kenny's room being in the middle. It had two interconnecting doors on each side: one connecting to Rias' room and one connecting to Asia's room. On the third floor were Karen's new room, a study, and a storeroom. Meanwhile, Akeno's, Xenovia's, and Koneko's rooms were on the fourth floor. The fifth floor had three more bedrooms. The sixth floor was mostly empty, and finally, the rooftop was a communal garden decorated with flower plots and there was a small vegetable farm planted. There was also a table and chairs to drink tea at.
Down below in the first basement floor, there was a movie theater, training rooms, changing rooms, and a large indoor bath which has a refrigerator filled with three different flavors of milk (fruit milk, regular milk, and coffee milk). There was a hidden room on this floor, and another, second hidden room that contained an assortment of baths of various sizes, but was noticeably larger than the first and was decorated gorgeously with ornate patterns, tropical plants, Dragon statues pouring water into the bath, and the Gremory's symbol.
And if that wasn't crazy enough, the second basement floor included a heated indoor swimming pool. The third basement floor was a mostly vacant floor that could be used for storage. It also included. a library.
But there was still one question that needed to be answered.
"So, Rias," Kenny asked after chewing and swallowing a bite of his breakfast. "You mind telling me just how my house turned into some mansion ripped out of the Great Gatsby?"
Karen was quick to place her hand over his mouth get him to shut it. "Not that we don't appreciate the kind gesture," she chuckled nervously.
After swallowing the food in her mouth, Rias answered the two siblings. "It was a gift from my father," she said, before going into further detail. "When he heard that Azazel was having all the girls move in with you, he decided to make things more spacious for all of us."
Kenny blinked. "Really? But why turn it into a mansion?"
"Oh, that. Well, he wanted to go bigger than this," Rias said with a smile.
Karen raised an eyebrow, as Kiba, Gasper, and X-9 walked into the room. "How big are we talking about," she asked.
"Good morning, everyone," greeted Kiba and waved a hand, wearing casual clothes like everyone else. Gasper was hiding behind the robot while wearing a sunhat and girl clothes.
He looked around at the large living room and the crowd sitting at the table, which was freaking him out a little. Karen noticed this and smiled. "Come on, Gasper. What's the matter," she asked kindly.
"B-B-Big places are scary!" Gasper shuddered.
"...Good morning," X-9 greeted the people. When the two male Devils came to the house, he was the one to let them in and guided them to the kitchen and living room.
"Hey guys," Kenny said with a smile. "What're you all doing here?"
"We're holding the club meeting here today," Kiba said, sitting down at one of the couches in the living room.
"And it looks like everyone's here," Rias said with a satisfied expression. "Let's finish our breakfast and we'll begin." She picked up her bowl and continued eating.
"Going back home to the Underworld?" Kenny asked in surprise.
After breakfast had ended, Rias had all the members of the Occult Research Club and the residents of the samurai's home gather into his room. Even with all the people in the room, there was more than plenty of extra space. Everyone sat on expensive-looking sofas. Only Gasper was highing in a box he brought along.
"Well, naturally! Summer's finally here. This is a yearly tradition," Rias to her boyfriend before noticing that Kenny sighed in relief. "What's wrong, darling?"
"It's just that when you were talking about returning home, I thought that you leaving for good," Kenny admitted sheepishly.
Rias gave him a wry smile. "Cloying neediness is so hot. Now stop worrying," she said, inching her face closer to her boyfriend and held his cheeks to rub them. "I plan to keep you around for a few very, very long time. I would never leave you behind, my love. Understand?"
Kenny smiled. "Yeah."
"Good." Rias gave him a simple kiss on the lips before turning back to the group. "We'll all head to the Underworld tomorrow morning. And it's a long trip, so bring a book or something."
That surprised some of the people in the room. "Wait, did you say all of us," asked Asia.
"Does that include us too," Xuelan asked with wide eye and pointed at her, meaning her and the other maids.
"Masters and servants must always be together, and that includes you four as you're recognized as Kenny's maids," Rias said to the four Phoenix Maids. "Plus I got a group rate."
"Going to the Underworld while I'm still alive makes a little bit nervous but I wouldn't feel anything if I were already dead!" Asia with an excited smile, sitting next to Xenovia and Koneko.
'That's just morbid,' Karen thought, looking at the blonde strangely.
"So then, starting tomorrow morning, we're gonna spend our vacation in the same hell I once tossed infidels into?" Xenovia asked, before scuffing and crossing her arms. " For a once-believer turned Devil, that irony."
"You're just as bad as her!" Karen yelled out loud comically. But no one knew that she was talking about how depressing the two former believers were talking.
"Karen and I'll be going along as well."
Karen and everyone gasped before turning around to Azazel sitting on a seat in the corner. As everyone was takening aback by his sudden appearance, the youngest Kurosawa jumped out of her seat next to Gasper. "What are you doing here!? When did you get in here?!"
"If you what someone to get mad at, then Rias is the one," Azazel said nonchalantly.
Rias stood up to her feet with an angered expression. "What was that?!"
"Listen, Gremory, if you didn't notice my presence until just now, then you've still got a lot of training left to do," he said. That's right, Azazel was now their teacher in leveling up the Sacred Gears of Rias' household. Given his abundance of knowledge and was also going to be teaching them battle styles for now on.
Kenny sighed. "I guess I should go get packing," he said, standing up and walking to a dresser. Everyone else sat up and started walking towards the exit of the room.
But as Rias entered her room from the interconnecting one and closed, she was about to go to her dresser and pull out her clothes for the trip. However, she was stopped by a knocking at the door. It was the main one that connected to the hallway. She walked over and opened the door.
Only to be surprised to see Xuelan, Isabelle, and Karlamine standing on the other side with bright blushes and timid looks.
"Girls? What are you doing here," Rias asked with wide eyes. "Is there something wrong?"
Karlamine was the first to speak. "No...but..."
Knowing how timid she was about asking, Isabelle stepped forward. "We have an important request to ask of you, Lady Rias," she stated.
"It's about Kenny," Xuelan said before placing a hand on her bosom. "Please, if you please hear us out. You can understand."
Rias was a little surprised by their request.
The next day the group headed for the nearest train station. Everyone was wearing their school inform, including Karen from her school. X-9 was in his black clothing and the maids dressed up as maids, like usual. But luckily for them, there wasn't anyone in the station to stare lewdly at them. Rias said that it was best to dress in uniform if they were going to the Underworld.
"So what are we doing here?" Kenny said with his duffle bag hanging from his shoulder. "The last train's already left."
"Just follow me." Rias beckoned her samurai with a wry smile. They followed her to a small elevator that could only hold five people at most. Rias and Akeno entered first and then spoke. "Kenny, you, Karen, Asia, and Xenovia are going down first with us."
"But, Rias, there are no other lower levels," said Karen, point up to the floor display that only showed 1 and 2.
"Not for us Devils, now come squeeze in," Rias said with a confident smile. The new Devils and Fallen Angel of the group just exchanged glances but complied. Struggling to fit into the elevator with their bags. "Kiba, you and the rest are to come after us since you've used this. Yubelluna, do you have a card."
"Indeed," Yubelluna responded proudly, pulling out a white card from her dress and held it up to show Rias. "Just if we were to find ourselves in the human world."
"Good, then you'll come after Kiba's group with X-9," Rias said before the elevator doors closed. Cramming the people inside together with their big luggage. The redhead then took out a card that was the same as Yubelluna's and turned it towards an electronic panel.
After the card was scanned by the panel, it let out an electric Pi sound.
And then, Kenny, Karen, and Asia giggled when they felt the elevator going down. Rias and Akeno saw their shock and giggled a little, while Xenovia just titled her head as a small reaction. "Beneath this station, there is a secret level that is exclusively for Devils. Areas for the exclusive-use of Devils are hidden within the town is this way, you know?"
They kept descending for another minute, before coming to a stop. After the doors opened, Karen was the first to get out, after getting her head squished between Akeno and Xenovia's breasts. She panted as the others walked out with their luggage and the doors closed. "How do you girls carry those grapefruits around," she murmured as her brother looked around.
It at first would seem like a vast artificial space that was some kind of huge cave, but rather, it seemed to have the structure of a station platform. There were a few differences in the design and structure of those in the human world. However, it still had train tracks.
After Kiba's group came down, they all waited by the elevator before the Phoenix Maids and X-9 joined them on the lower station. Rias then led the group to platform three. It was a bit of a walk down the vast space that would echo anyone who yelled.
Finally, they arrived at an open station and saw a very peculiar train in front of them. There were many Devil-representing patterns carved into it at acute angles, with the Gremory Household symbol of it. "Platform 9 3/4's got nothing on this," Karen whispered in amazement.
"So this is your family's train," Kenny asked, as the train doors opened automatically.
"That's right," Rias answered without hesitation before leading everyone onto the train.
"I never expected to go to hell on a train," Asia said while playing a card game with Xenovia The train was now speeding into the Underworld, traveling across a purple sky as if it were training on train tracks. The inside of the train was like a luxurious small living room with bars and small tables to sit at, and sofa's with coffee tables to relax.
"The last time, Grayfia's magic brought us there," Kenny said, pointing a thumb at the robot. Lulu was also there and was being played with by Karen. The robot and sister were sitting with Koneko and Gasper one of the two U shaped sofas. "And then I rode Rias back home on a griffin."
"Well this is a proper trip, and all new Devils should enter the world through the appropriate channels," Akeno said, sitting with Kenny, Rias, Xenovia, and Asia on the other U shaped sofa.
Kenny nodded and looked to the Phoenix Maid. They were sitting together whispering to each other at one bar, while Kida was sitting at the bar in the back reading a book. "Was it the same way for you girls," he asked.
Yubelluna simply looked to Kenny, but the other three looked like they'd jumped out of their skin and blushed brightly. "Yes, actually," the purple-haired woman said with only a faint blush. "When our..former master resurrected us during both the European and Pacific War, the four of us went on a similar train. But with more fire."
Kenny's eyes widened. "You girls died in World War 2?"
Isabella was the first to try and control her feelings and anticipation and looked at Kenny in the eyes. "That's right, I was burnt alive with my family during the Battle of Stalingrad," she said. While some would be hesitant to speak about their deaths, she and the others had no problems revealing their demise to Kenny and Rias' familiar. After all, they've suffered just as much as they did before becoming Devils.
"My father and I fought back against the Germans when they invaded France, but it would end with the two of us getting captured and gun down," Karlamine, said looking up at the ceiling.
Xuelan held her arms as she looked down. "I was a simple farming girl in China, but when our home was invaded by Japan, some of the soldiers decided to...pass me around before killing me off," she said with a shutter. But when she was revived, she took pleasure in making them all suffer.
Yubelluna was quiet for a couple of short seconds, before removing one of her forearm length, finger-less gloves. "Let's just say that...I lived in Germany at the wrong time and well, I think you know what this means," she sighed, showing her numbers tabooed on her arms.
"Jesus," Kenny whispered as everyone was now staring that the woman with wide eye. "You were killed during the Holocaust?"
"Yep, like many other Jewish people," she sighed sadly before putting back on her glove and leaned back to stare up at the ceiling. It wasn't the whole story, but she wasn't ready to tell it all completely yet. Wanting to lighten the mood after her depressing backstory, she looked at everyone else. "You know, it's strange. We've all died or have been given new lives after having horrible things be done to us."
"That's because we all had Rias here to help us," Kenny said, placing a hand on his girlfriend's hand.
"Speak for yourselves, all I have is some creepy guy for a master," Karen exclaimed. But then she noticed Koneko wasn't listening to the maids' stories. All she was doing was looking out at the purple sky. "Hey, Koneko? Are you okay? You haven't touched your food."
Koneko turned to Karen and quickly said, "Nothing. Nothing to worry about."
Karen was about to call bullshit when the announcer on the train said, "We will soon arrive at the Sitri Domain terminal."
Kenny looked at Rias and Akeno as they smiled. "Sitri Domain?"
"Yo! Kurosawa!"
"What's going on, tiger?"
Kenny gasped when he heard those two familiar voices and turned his head towards the doors that led to the car in front of theirs. Walking into the car was Sona, Tsubaki, Saji, and Tsubasa."
"Saji and Tsubasa! And you too, Sona and Tsubaki," Kenny asked with a smile. When Kiba saw Tsubaki walk in, he closed his book and got up.
"Good to see you, Sona," Rias said, as Sona and her members approached the sofa.
"Since you were kind even to give us a ride on the Gremory train, I thought I'd see how you were before we got off," Sona said with a smile.
"Fine, if not a bit anxious," Rias said with shrug.
"Perfectly understandable. After all, this isn't an ordinary trip home."
Tsubasa then turned to Kenny and wink with a grin. "You're hearing down to the Underworld to train too, tiger," she asked.
Kenny was confused but nodded his head. "That's right, but you all are training too?"
"Up to now, we've only been told we're accompanying Rias on break," Xenovia inform the other blue-haired girl.
"Yeah, well. We're about to go and work our butt off, and the next time we meet up, I'll be a lot stronger than you, got me, Kurosawa?" Saji asked in a challenging manner.
Sona turned to her two subordinates and said. "Saji. Tsubasa. It's time to go." The small young woman turned to walk towards the door, but then stopped and looked at Rias and Kenny. "It was nice seeing you again, Kenny. Goodbye and good luck, Rias."
Kenny nodded with a smile as Rias said, "Goodbye. See you again soon."
"It's been a while since we dropped off Sona and her entourage," Gasper said while playing a video game with Kenny and Karen. Akeno, Asia, Xuelan, and Isabella were with them watching. Kiba was talking with Xenovia and Karlamine, which was a given as they were Knights. Yubelluna was quietly reading a book, as Koneko was looking out the window again.
"We will soon arrive at the Gremory domain terminal," said the announcer.
Kenny gasped and looked out the window. "We're really here?" He said, jumping over the sofa and going to window with Xenovia, Asia, Karen, and the maids.
They were stunned to see miles and miles of very rich acres with developed industry, but also with a well-shaded forest and a mountain range filled with high mountains. Houses and other buildings were laid out throughout the land, and it looked more like a giant city.
"Wait, do you mean all that land?" Xenovia asked loudly as Karlamine next to her had her jaws dropped.
"Yes. This all belongs to the House of Gremory," Akeno replied.
"It's huge!" Kenny gasped.
"If you were to compare it to Japan, they own roughly the size of its main island," Kiba told the new Devils.
Suddenly, and without warning, the train stopped. Making everyone stumble and nearly fell to the ground as it lurched. Kenny grunted as he stood back up, and helped Akeno get back up. "The hell was that about?"
"Why did we stop," Xenovia asked, looking around.
"The emergency brake has been activated."
Xuelan got up and slammed her fist on the back of the sofa. "No shit!" She angerly shouted at the ceiling as her fellow maids got to their feet.
As she continued to how Kenny's hand, Akeno looked around. "How strange! I wonder why someone stopped the train."
Karen ran over to Gasper and helped him out of his box. "Gasper! Are you okay?"
"Ow, my neck..." he groaned and rubbed the back of his neck. "Did we get into an accident?"
That's when Rias and Azazel came walking back into their train car after moving to the one in front to see what was going on. "A few VIPs will be gathering here soon. Maybe the stop was a security precaution," the Fallen Angel said as he approached the others.
"What VIPs?" Karen demanded.
"Looks like we might be stuck here for a while. I'm gonna go take a peek. Ciao!" And with that, the Governer turned with a wave and walked out of the passenger car.
Rias sighed and started to inform her peerage about the situation. "One of the representatives of Asgard will be joining us for a conference. And he's bringing with him two other important representatives as well."
Karen snorted a chuckle. "Ass-guard."
That got her a hit over the head by her brother.
"She's talking about the Asgard, like as in Odin and Thor. They and the other Asgardians are the forces behind Norse mythology," He scolded her as his sister now had a big lump on her head. Gasper tried to comfort her by patting it. Kenny then looked at Rias with stock. "Wait, you mean the Nine Realms are real!?"
"That's right," Kiba said with a nod. "Asgard's the home of the Viking gods. Then there's Olympus from Greek mythology and the legendary Mount Meru is Asia."
"It's more than just Angels and Devils," Karlamine told the Kurosawa siblings.
"That explains why Ra and Vishnu came together with Odin to create the Sword," Yubelluna said with a hand on her chin.
Kenny glared down at the ground. "And then there's that guy who escaped with Vali, Bikou." That's when Kenny gasped in realization and looked to Rias. "That must mean...this conference we're going to is about the Army of Darkness!"
"That's right," Rias said with a nod. "Terrorist countermeasures. Asgard, the Gods of Egypt, and Hindu are joining our alliance."
"...Then that means that the representatives are-"
"Something's wrong," Koneko suddenly said.
Then everything went white.
Kenny groaned as he woke up on his stomach. When he opened his eyes, he saw the purple sky of the Underworld. He grunted and slowly sat up to look around.
Everyone but Rias was with him and on the ground start to get up. They weren't on the train any more but in some kind of rocky valley. "Where are we? Where's Rias?" He asked, starting to panic.
"Force teleportation?" Kiba inquired, looking around that their location.
"Where's Rias," Asia muttered, worried about her friends well being.
Akeno stood up. "I don't see her."
"Azazel's missing too!" Gasper gasped.
Karlamine gasped before standing in a fighting stance. "Quiet!" She snapped, turning her head to listen closely to something. "We've got company."
The ground started to rumble, and the felt like the earth was breaking apart with every shake. "That's not good," said Xenovia as the source of the commotion and violent shaking came into view...
And everyone felt fear enter their hearts.
