The following day, all of Rias' peerage gathered in the club room before teleporting to the battlefield where the Rating Game was going to take place. All of them were ready for the fight that was supposed to take place. However, what they were not expecting was where they'd end up.

When the light died down around the group, and they arrived at their destination, Kenny looked around and was confused. The first Rating Game he was part of took place in a replica of his school. But the arena for this game looked like it was a section of the Underworld. It was a barren wasteland with floating islands that were connected by stairways and pathways to a large floating temple.

Kenny looked around with a frown, as a bad feeling about the situation formed in his gut. "Where are we?"

"This is where they expect us to fight?" Kiba asked, looking around in confusion. This was a feeling that was shared by everyone else on the team.

"How strange," muttered Rias. "The referee should have announced our arrival by now."

"But what if there's been some kind of problem," asked Gasper as he looked up at Rias.

Kenny turned to his girlfriend. "I've got a bad feeling about this."

Asia looked around, before letting out a gasp. "A magic circle!" She pointed at it as it appeared behind the group in the air and on the ground.

However, they weren't the same as the design of the Astaroth family. These were different. They were orange with symbols that seemed ancient.

Kenny pulled out the Sword and asked, "Rias, who are these guys?"

"They're not from the Astaroth family, that's for sure. Be on guard!" Rias said, looking around as more magical circles appeared around her, her boyfriend, and her friends.

Kenny swiped his hand down the length of the Sword and summoned his Boosted Gear. Xenovia and Kiba together summoned their swords and prepared for battle. Koneko sprouted her tail from her panties and her cat ears from the top of her head. Akeno called upon her light, and Rias her red aura.

As the Power of Destruction surrounded her body, Rias noticed something about the circles, and she recognized them. "If memory serves, I've seen that crest before somewhere."

From the circles came multiple Devils with skull masks. From the circles on the ground came a horde of beetle drones! The drones quickly surrounded the group as the Devil flew overhead.

"Beetle drones?!" Kiba exclaimed.

"Now I remember! These Devils are loyal to the Old Satan Faction of the Army of Darkness," Rias said, glaring at the Devils and robots as they stood on their hindlegs.

"To the despicable usurpers and the false royal House of Gremory, we are here to take back what's ours!" One of them said in a prideful voice as the others cheered.

Kenny glared at the Devil and stood in front of Rias. This was just like what Vali was warning him about. "You want to hurt her, you'll have to get through me!" He yelled.

"But it's not her that I want."

"KYAAH!" Asia suddenly screamed. Kenny turned around to see her glowing in a green light and lifted up into the air upside down. Causing her dagger to fall out of her hands.

"Asia!" Kenny yelled in shock.

Asia's body flew up until her ankle was grabbed by Diodora Astaroth.

"Diodora!" Rias spat in anger.

Kenny glared hatefully at the heir as he started talking while grinning. "Greetings! I'm sorry I can't stay and chat, but Asia Argento will be coming with me."

"Like hell you're going anywhere with her!" Kenny shouted, shaking with anger.

"Diodora, I demand an explanation right now!" Rias shouted, glaring up at what was supposed to be her opponent.

"Is it obvious? The Army of Darkness has provided me with the assistance I need to take what's rightfully mine. And in return, they get to kill every last one of you," said Diodora as he looked down at Rias, opening his eyes to look at her creepily. "Is that sufficient enough?"

"So you allied yourself with lowly criminals?" Akeno asked, gritting her teeth as her trembling fists shook with fury. "Criminals that are allied with Aku?!"

Rias pointed at Diodora and shouted. "You traitorous dog! First, you defile the sanctity of the Rating Game, which alone deserves death, and second, you laid your filthy hands on Asia!" Her aura increased in power the angrier she became.

"Well, if you want to do something about it, you'll have to fight through all my friends," said Diodora, smirking down at the group. "While you're busy with that, I'll be taking my time getting to know this little creature. Biblically. How's that sound, Samurai?"

He snapped his fingers and launched a volley of green missiles at the group.

"SCATTER!" Kenny yelled, and everyone but him did so and took cover. The samurai fired an arc of energy with his sword back at the missiles. Dispersing every one of them.

"Kenny! Pass me Ascalon!" Xenovia shouted. Nodding, Kenny summoned the sword and tossed it to her. Xenovia opened her wings and flew into the air. She grabbed it and headed towards Diodora. "Asia's my friend, creeper! I won't let you get away with this!"

However, before she could strike him down, Diodora held Asia up in front of himself. Gasping, Xenova quickly veered off course and landed on the ground.

"Coward!" She said before a beetle drone came up behind her.

"Look out!"

SLICE!

Kenny rushed in and cut the robot in half. "Thank you," Xenovia said.

Laughing, Diodora vanished with Asia in hand. Kenny turned around and saw them disappear into a magical circle.

"Asia!" Kenny yelled. Another beetle rushed up to him, and Kenny angrily cut its head off with a single swing. "Damnit!" He cut another one down. "This was that son of bitch's plan all along!" The samurai yelled in anger as he stabbed a drone.

Kiba destroyed a drone before turning to Kenny. "Kenny, calm down! We'll deal with Diodora after we handle these guys."

Rias blasted a group of beetles away, but more were still coming. "Stay alert! I'm not sure we can take this many at once," Rias said as the drones and Devils closed in. Unaware of a flash of blue light behind her.

"Hyaah!" Akeno yelped when she felt someone lift up her skirt. She turned her head to see a familiar old face.

"Mmm, that's a sweet piece. These cheeks alone were a good enough reason to tag along," said Odin as he looked at Akeno's plump ass with a smirk.

"Hey, hands off my mistress! That ass is mine!" Kenny yelled at the old man the moment he saw Akeno looking uncomfortable. "Wait a minute…"

"Lord Odin, what are you doing here?" asked Rias, shocked to see the god. Ignoring the comment Kenny made.

Laughing, Odin straightened up and left poor Akeno alone. She ran over to stand behind Kenny and glare at the Norse God for his perverted move. "We discovered that Diodora Astaroth has been making deals behind everyone's backs for a while. This is only part of a large attack the Army of Darkness has commenced on the Underworld."

This shocked the Devils. "What?! The Underworld's under attack!?" Rias exclaimed, shocked that they would be so bold to do that.

"Luckily, Ra and Vishnu are on their way to reinforce your brother, Gremory," Odin said, before walking towards the horde of beetle drones and enemy Devils. Holding out his arms, he called out to all of them. "Here me, I am the great All-Father of the Norse Gods! Whoever can take my head will become a warrior of legend!"

The beetle drones just stared at the old man, while the Devils weren't buying it. They fired their magic projectiles at him as the beetles charged forward.

Chuckling, Odin summoned an energy field around himself and Rias' peerage. The projectiles slammed into the shield before the beetles started crawling all over it. Even though the shots fired destroyed some of the beetles, it didn't stop the others from slashing and stabbing the shield. Trying to break it and kill the people inside.

"That brat Azazel's plan was brilliant in its sheer simplicity. Lure them in and take them all out in one fell swoop," Odin explained and concentrated on his shield. Expanding it outwards to destroy the beetle drones and vaporizing everyone Devil in the vicinity.

"So, all this time, we weren't going to be fighting a Rating Game, but acting as bait," Rias said, crossing her arms under her large breasts.

"Hurry up and get going," Odin said, turning to them. "I'll hold the front lines while you kids make your escape, besides, I'm aching for a good fight."

Seeing more drones coming out of the magical circles, Kenny remarked, "There are hundreds of thousands of those beetle drones. You'll never survive."

Odin laughed at that. "You're just a pup compared to me, boy. You're barely two decades old. A warrior like me has been around for thousands of years."

He then waved his can in the air.

"Come forth, Gungnir!"

Kenny watched as the old God was soon surrounded by a vortex of rushing water behind him. Odin held out his hand, and in it appeared a golden three-pronged spear. Grinning, the God twirled his legendary spear between his fingers before pointing it at the beetle drones. Blasting them away with ease.

"Incredible," Kenny whispered in shock.

"Rias, Kenny, are you still alive?" asked a familiar voice. A magic rune circle emerged from the ground before the team. From it appeared the holographic image of Sona, Tsubaki, and Tsubasa.

"Hey there, tiger," said Tsubasa to Kenny.

"Sona, what's going on? Where are you?" asked a shocked Rias.

"Azazel sent us to the city that's under siege after informing us of the situation. I can only take my strongest members with me to aid Ra and Vishnu." Sona explained.

"It was all part of my genius plan," said the familiar voice of the Fallen Angel Governor through a magic circle that appeared next to the ear of everyone present.

"What the hell, man? You were using us as bait?" Kenny asked, annoyed.

"Yeah, your sister wasn't too happy about it either. Just shut up and listen. The Army of Darkness is using the bulk of the beetle drone army they have to attack the city. Meanwhile, the Old Satan faction is all over the game field and swarming around the VIP room. It's a full-scale attack, but we had a contingency plan."

"What kind of contingency are we talking about?" asked Rias.

"We sprung ambushes all over the area, and the fools walked straight into it. As for the siege, I just placed Ra and Vishnu where they're needed with Sona's team there. I had to leave you all in danger or risk having Astaroth figuring out the plan."

"But what if something happened to us?" Gasper asked frantically. "Anyone of us could've gotten killed!"

"As the strategist of this battle, I will take full responsibility. If you want to take your anger out on me, then you're free to take my life."

"Trust me, you don't want it. It's pretty sad," said a girl's voice.

"Hey! Do you mind?!"

"Karen?" Kenny asked.

"Karen, are you here too?" Gasper asked.

"Yeah, Gaspy. The maids, Irina, and Rossweisse are here too. We'll be kicking some ass while you guys stay hidden until the battle's over."

"Sorry, but there's been a change of plans," Kenny said, reaching down and picking up Asia's dagger. "Diodora's taken Asia, and I'm going after her."

"Wait, what?!" Azazel exclaimed.

"You take out the enemy forces, we'll rescue Asia and take out Diodora," Kenny said, tucking the dagger into his belt.

"Kenny's right. We're not running away when Asia's endangered. We'll put Astaroth's head on a pike as an example to anywho who would harm my household!" Rias said with determination.

Azazel snorted. "Excellent! Just as I've come to expect, Gremory! I'd be glad to clear out the way for you. Now go rampage your hearts out!"

Sona said, "We have to go back to the battle at hand. Good luck to all of you." She and the two with her bowed their heads before the hologram disappeared.

Rias turned to Odin. "Lord, Odin, we shall take advantage of your generous offer immediately," she said with a nod.

"Excellent! Once you're all out of harm's way, I can really cut loose on these vermin!" The old man said, rubbing his shoulders as he turned to face the Old Satan followers coming for him.

"Thank you, to both of you." Rias turned to her peerage and took command. "Let's double time it to the temple!"

Double time it, understood!" Everyone replied, taking off immediately to the temple.

As he ran, Kenny heard his sister talking to him. "Hey, bro. When you find Asia and that creep, you show him your power and go to town on him for me, will ya?"

Kenny grinned as he clenched the Sword. "Trust me, he'll face justice for what he did," he said.

Rias used her power to bust through the stone gate, and the group started running up the steps heading towards the temple where Diodora was holding Asia hostage. As he ran with Rias, Kenny's thoughts were filled with anger and fear. All directed at Diodora. He wanted to make the man pay for what he did, but he also feared for Asia's safety. He also worried about everyone else that was fighting against the Army of Darkness. They were all formidable, Aku's followers were still a mystery in terms of power, and there was no way of knowing who they would be fighting.

Regardless, Kenny can't go and help them. Not when Asia was in danger. Kenny prayed in his mind that she would just hang on to hope until he reached her.

However, his and the group's path was blocked when they got into the first temple. In front of them was a group of people covered in hoods and robes. Ten stood shoulder to shoulder behind two that stood in front of them. And standing before all of them was a single person. They were obviously Diodora's peerage, waiting for the ORC to arrive.

"I knew you would follow me." Spoke Diodora's voice from somewhere in the room. "That's why I put together this little welcome party. Now it's time to play our game."

"He can't be serious," Kenny said to Akeno, who was just as angry as him and unimpressed with Diodora's show of power.

Rias, however, smirked. While the predicament they were in was infuriating, she also found it amusing. "Unfortunately, today's Rating Game has been canceled. Of course, you already knew that."

"So, we'll play my game instead. Should you refuse, Asia will become mine." Diodora said with confidence. Just then, two stone doors behind the robed figures opened to two different paths. "You'll have to fight two separate battles simultaneously. On the right path, two Rooks and eight Pawns await. The battle on the left, my Queen and Bishops. You can split your forces any way you see fit."

Kenny narrowed his eyes. So this was going to be his plan. To divide and conquer. Diodora likely knew that together, they were unstoppable, so he wanted to separate the group. Kenny wondered if the creep was taking his own game seriously, or was deliberately leading them into a trap.

"What's the plan?" Kenny asked.

Rias didn't need a second to think before she gave her command. "Darling, take Koneko, Xenovia, and Gasper to the right and take out his forces."

Kenny nodded. "Roger that."

"Ten of them against the four of us?!" Gasper asked in shock. Nervous to be in his first real fight.

"Don't forget, Gasper, Kenny absorbed all eight of our Pawn pieces and has the Sword. Not only that, but Xenovia is a Holy Sword user. As far as power, we have the advantage," said Kiba with a smile.

"Then let the game begin!" Diodora announced, amused.

Soon, Kenny, Koneko, Xenovia, and Gasper were all transported to a new location, far from Rias, Akeno, and Kiba. Looking around, Kenny frowned. It was an open space, which would give Diodora's Pawns and Rooks all the room they needed to fight.

A moment later, their opponents showed up. "Ten of them against the four of us," Kenny said, before smirking. "This is going to be easy."

"By the way, all of my pawns have been promoted to Queen," said Diodora's voice throughout the temple. "I like to hedge my bets."

Over on her side, Rias heard that. However, instead of feeling insulted, she chuckled and shook her head. "I knew you weren't one to fight fair, but this is a new low even for you."

Diodora's Queen and Bishops appeared before them. The Queen smirked and tossed her cloak off herself. Akeno smirked as she stepped up to stand with her King. "Just a Queen and two Bishops? They must have a lot of confidence in themselves."

"Xenovia, I need you to keep the Rooks busy," Rias called over the comm as the two rooks rushed towards the blue-haired woman.

Xenovia quickly brought out Durandal and used the massive blade to block the two attacking girls. "Fine!" She said, throwing them off her sword with a swing. They landed a few feet away from her as Xenovia prepared to fight. "I was made for fights like this."

"Koneko, work crowd control on those Pawns!"

Nodding, the nekomata perked her ears and filled her hands with her senjutsu energy. Blue balls of fire appeared in her hands before she threw them at them Pawns. They quickly jumped out of the way.

"Kenny, give Gasper a quick taste of your blood. He'll need it for the battles to come."

Nodding, Kenny took the Sword and made a small cut on his finger. Enough to make it bleed a bit. He gave it to Gasper, letting him lick the drop of blood. This allowed him to power up, and his eyes started glowing for a moment.

"Let's do this!" Kenny said, holding the Sword in both hands.

"We'll need to end this quickly. Kenny…level the playing field. End them."

"Can do," Kenny said, grinning as he was promoted to the rank of Queen. "Koneko, step back. I'll thin their numbers."

Koneko was confused as he walked towards the Pawns, but stayed back. Her confusion grew when Kenny pulled out his scabbard and sheathed his katana.

"Alright, who will face me first!" Kenny yelled to the hooded people. Holding his katana to his hip and his right hand placed on the handle.

The Pawns looked at him like he was crazy. He couldn't be serious about facing all ten of them. But nonetheless, they surrounded the samurai, and an intense standoff commenced. Kenny's eyes darted around at the Pawns, waiting for one of them to make a move. Luckily, he didn't have to wait for long, as one of the cloaked people charged at him.

SLASH!

Kenny slashed across her chest. Another girl changed at him to kick him in the head.

Kenny slashed across her body, too, before being attacked again.

SLASH!

Once again, the samurai cut the enemy before they could even land a hit on him.

However, while it did cause them to yell out in pain, it did not take them out of the fight. Those that were cut jumped back as the other Pawns started attacking Kenny with rather ruthless moves. The samurai had no problem evading or blocking with his katana, and cutting into them. However, they just jumped back from him.

As they looked at him, not even minding that they were bleeding, Kenny got confused. "What the hell? What's up with these girls?"

"You might've noticed, but they are immune to the wounds you gave them. This is because I cast a spell on them to seal away their ability to feel pain or fear," said Diodora in his arrogant voice again.

Kenny scowled and stood in a fighting pose again. The pawns charged at him again, and one of them tried to punch, but the samurai dodged it and sliced across her stomach. Another one tried to kick him in the face, but Kenny dodged it and bashed her head with the scabbard. Two more girls attacked him, but Kenny quickly jumped away and landed next to Koneko and Gasper.

Two of the Pawns jumped into the air and fired energy balls at Kenny and Gasper. They were quickly blocked by the Sword. Koneko then launched more balls of fire at them, but they just dodged her attacks.

"Their attacks are perfectly coordinated," said Koneko.

"They're moving way too fast," Gasper said.

"Then it's time to slow them down," Kenny said to his friend. "Gasper, use your power to freeze them in place!"

"Okay, I'll do it!" cried the vampire boy.

Gasper closed his eyes before opening them again as he activated his power. Freezing them all in place.

SLICE!

Kenny, just like before, sliced into all of them with his sword while holding it in his left hand. He then yelled out. "ARMOR BREAKER!"

The cuts left on the girls glowed before they grew larger and cut into their bodies deeper. Taking them out instantly, before their bodies disappeared. They may have the powers of a Queen Rank, but they were still no match for Kenny's Armor Breaker.

"Pawns are all taken out!" Kenny said, sheathing his sword. He turned to Xenovia. "It's all up to you now, Xenovia!"

Xenovia nodded and smiled, before turning back to take care of the two Rooks before her. Luckily for her, the Rooks were in disbelief after seeing the Pawns getting taken out.

"The Pawns…" whispered the first Rook in a state of shock.

"They're all gone…so fast," said the second Rook, also in shock.

With a smirk, Xenovia chuckled. "Good, looks like I'll be able to cut loose now," she said, getting the attention of the Rooks. "When I first met my friend Asia I said some terrible things I've now come to regret."

The holy blade of the Durandal started to glow in power.

"I've called her a witch and a heretic. But even after these insults, she still accepted me and made me feel at home. I will protect her," Xenovia declared with conviction in her voice. She called upon a magic circle. "Aura transfer, Durandal to Ascalon!"

She reached into it and pulled out the dragon-slaying holy sword. With both swords in hand, she raised them both up with their blades formed into an X-formation. "With your combined powers, I will smite my enemies. I have the strength because friendship is magic!"

With the combined power of both swords, Xenovia fired a beam of energy at the Rooks. This attack destroyed parts of the temple they were all in as they vaporized the Rooks where they stood. Relatively unharmed, Xenovia lowered the swords down with a satisfied smile of victory.

Kenny turned to Koneko and asked, "You all have been binge-watching My Little Pony, haven't you?"

"Maybe."

"You're at least including Gasper, right?"

"Of course."

"Koneko! Don't tell him that!" Gasper cried, blushing with embarrassment.

Kenny turned back to Xenovia with a smile. "Hot damn, if I wasn't falling for her yet, I am now," he said, chuckling to himself as the blue-haired girl placed her swords back where they came from. He then summoned a circle to his ear and spoke into it. "How are things on your end, babe?"

"Uh, she can't talk right now, Kenny!" Kiba's voice said on the other side.

"We're really busy right now!" Kiba exclaimed over the barrage. He, Rias, and Akeno were having a very rough time with their opponents. Rias and Akeno were both using shields to protect themselves against a barrage of attacks by Diodora's Queen. What made it even more difficult was how she was able to continue fighting with them. Normally, she would have run out of energy a long time ago, but the Bishops behind her were healing her wounds and restoring her powers. Causing the fight to ground to a standstill, which played into Diodora's hands.

"We have to take out both Bishops and the Queen simultaneously!" Akeno said, grunting under the strain of the blasts. "The question is how?"

Kenny could see the struggle from the other side. "I see you guys," said he, pulling out the Sword. "Kiba, tell Rias to get her head down, I'm bringing down the thunder."

He was about to power up a Red Dragon Slash when Koneko poked his arm, getting his attention. "I have an idea. Try this."

Curious, Kenny leaned down so that she could whisper something into his ear. When she finished, Kenny looked at her with wide eyes. She nodded, and the samurai sighed, knowing that he was likely going to be in serious trouble. He summoned another comm link to his ear and spoke into it.

"Hey, Akeno."

"Kenny?" Rias asked on the other side.

Kenny was hesitant to go forward but decided to continue on with what he was about to say next. "If you can win this fight…I'll take you out on another date next Saturday."

Kenny cut the link off and turned his head to Koneko. "That's what you wanted me to say, right?" He asked, getting a nod from a nekomata. However, the samurai wasn't too sure about the plan. "Koneko, as much as I would love another date with her, I doubt it's going to—"

All of a sudden, Kenny was interrupted by a surge of power that came out of nowhere. He looked back at the other temple and saw a powerful aura of lightning rising up from the battlefield. And he knew where it was coming from.

"Nevermind."

As lightning crackled and shot out from her voluptuous body, Akeno smiled her usual smile as she giggled happily in everlasting delight. She was going to get another date next Saturday with her boyfriend. In her mind, she was overjoyed that he wanted to go on another date with her.

Rias, on the other hand, couldn't believe it. "Kenny, I can't believe you'd ask her out right in front of me!" She said, feeling slightly annoyed and hurt, as her aura of destruction surrounded her.

Akeno said to her, "It just goes to show there's room in Kenny's heart for my love."

"I don't wanna hear that from someone who has a sudden wellspring of power after being promised one measly date with another girl's man." Rias snapped at her as her magical powers grew and became stronger. Enhancing the size of her shield.

"I'm not going to think of him as your man, no matter how many times you've slept with him." Akeno retorted back as her power began to match Rias.

"I sleep with him all the time! Last night was no exception!" Rias exclaimed, before turning her head away with a blush. Her mind filled with the feeling of Kenny's hands on her body. "In bed together, Kenny spooned me, kissed my neck, and groped me the whole night."

"Kenny tosses and turns a lot when he's unconscious. It's happened to all of us." Akeno smirked. "And who's to say that you didn't hold him there for yourself?"

"Yeah, well, how many times have you had sex with him?! We've done it five times by now!" Rias shouted back at her friend.

Kiba, who was standing behind the two arguing girls, watched as his master and her Queen got into a fight over if she could even count some of those times, as she cut in whenever Kenny had sex with someone else.

"Jealousy. It's truly women's kryptonite," he said, amazed.

"I demand you stop this nonsense!" Diodora's Queen shouted, very annoyed as her body glowed blue. "You ignore me and fight amongst yourselves over a boy?!"

That was a very big mistake.

"BACK OFF!" Rias and Akeno shouted and unleashed their powers on the trio. The three women screamed in agony as they were completely overwhelmed, and the temple was destroyed. When the dust settled, the Queen and Bishops were all lying on the ground. Their clothes were shredded, and they were unconscious. A second later, they dissipated into white light.

"Nice! Looks like we've won," Gasper said.

"As I'd expect from our King and Queen," Xenovia said with a smile. "One hell of a Devil attack finisher."

"Word," said Koneko with a nod.

"Ow!" Kenny yelped as Rias pulled on his ear. When the two groups reunited, she was not happy with him in the slightest. As the group walked up the stairs leading to the final temple, she pulled him along by his ear as Akeno walked with them. The others hung back and followed them.

"This Saturday, I'm going on our second date, and I don't want to hear any arguments," Rias said, upset.

"Okay, okay! I will!" Kenny whined, before she finally let him go.

"Now, is that any way of treating our boyfriend?" Akeno asked teasingly.

"I don't want to hear that from you!" Rias said, still angry with her too. "This isn't over, Akeno."

Akeno, however, didn't feel threatened and giggled. "Right, right."

"Listen, I'm serious!"

"So am I!"

"I think you and I are going to have a little chat about boundaries after we've rescued Asia," Rias told her.

"I have no objections, Rias," said the black-haired beauty, taking it as a challenge. Asia's like a little sister to me as well, so let's focus on getting her back."

The group stopped in front of the main door to the large floating temple. Strangely, it was left open for them, as if to invite his enemies into his lair. "Only the King and his two Knights are left," Kenny said.

The team entered the temple and started walking into a dark hallway. "It's unorthodox to send your Queen out to the front. Why keep Knights in reserve?" Rias asked, looking around at the columns lining both sides of the hallway.

"Yo yo yo! Long time no see, suckers!"

Kenny's eyes widened when he heard that all too familiar voice. "You've got to be kidding me." He looked down the hallways at the wall in front of them, kilometers away from where they were standing. There was a massive blue curtain and a red carpet. And walking down that carpet was a face Kenny never wanted to see again. "FREED!?"

"Yes, yes, yes, I'm hard to kill, that's a fact." The deranged priest said while waving his hands in front of him like the psycho he was. "As you can see, I'm still totally alive and kicking!"

Kiba glared at the mad priest. "What are you doing here?"

"After our last encounter, I was taken away by that wackjob Vali. To make a long story short, Aku's followers picked up the psycho-priest free agent standing in front of you," Freed explained with his ever-so-insane grin.

"And that's why you're here? You're Diodora's Knight?" Rias asked with her arms crossed. It wasn't abnormal for a man of God to fall and become a Devil. Extremely rare, but not unheard of. But to think that Diodora would accept Freed, of all people, into his peerage just proved that the man was out of his mind.

"His Knight?" Freed asked before laughing out loud like it was the funniest joke that he's heard in his life. He then stuck out his tongue and said, "I ATE THEM BOTH! They were finger-licking good!"

Kenny's eyes widened as he looked at the appalling rogue priest with a new level of disdain, his mind trying to rationalize how he could do something like that. But then he remembered that this wasn't a sane man. He was nothing more than a monster.

And he was just about to see just how much of a monster he was, because as Freed continued to laugh, he suddenly bent forward like he was in pain, before a massive brown wing tore through his clothing from his back.

Everyone gasped and watched as his body twisted and turned into a horrible form. Freed now had a massive body with thick arms and legs, and sharp fangs coming out of his mouth. He also had the single bat wing and an extra arm coming out of his back. And he was still laughing his ass off.

"That's nasty," Gasper said, shying slightly behind Kenny.

Kenny swallowed and said, "What the hell are you?"

"Since we're all old friends here, let me share a tidbit of gossip with you," Freed said in his demonic voice. "It's a tasty secret about Diodora's household. You know all those pretty young girls you just beat up? Every one of them was a respected nun before Diodora got his greasy mitts on them. A couple of them were even saints!"

"What did you say?!" Xenovia exclaimed, staring at the monster in shock.

"Diodora the explorer loved bringing passionately holy women down to the depths of Hell with smiles and sweet talk. That's how the freak gets on!" Freed laughed.

Kenny glared at the monster as he shook in anger. "And Asia was just another conquest for him, right?"

"Right! Once upon a time, there was a spoiled high-born Devil brat, and he saw a holy woman who was as pretty as a peach. Blonde, petite, I'm talking totally his type. But the woman was a guarded treasure of the church. So he knew there was no way he could kidnap her and get away with it. So the clever Devil brat came up with a plan. If the people of the church saw her healing an injured agent of Hell like him then they'd excommunicate her!"

Kenny's eyes widened in shock and horror as Asia's words played back in his head.

"Sorry. I was just thinking… I don't regret saving Diodora back then."

"It was him…" Kenny said in horror. All those feelings that he had about Diodora being a creep were proven to be right. But this? That Devil that took Asia away from him was behind her being kicked out of the church? For ruining her life and taking away the life she knew? Anger surged. His grip on the Sword tightened as he stepped toward the abomination.

However, Rias came over to her beloved's side and placed an arm in front of him. "This is no time to be reckless, my samurai. Save your strength for Diodora."

But Freed was not done yet. Not after knowing his words were breaking Kenny's morale. "Once she hit rock bottom in despair over the church's betrayal, he'd snatch the girl up when she was at her lowest and make her his, completely ravaging both body and soul. A man's gotta have a vice, and Diodora loves breaking the will of little young girls like her more than anything else!"

Kenny glared at the rogue priest with all the hate in his soul and was about to finally kill Freed once and for all. However, before he could finally finish off the psychopath, he was stopped by Kiba.

"Save your rage for your upcoming battle against Astaroth," he ushered. "I'll face Freed."

Kenny wanted to argue and kill Freed, but he knew that his friend was right. He stood down and stepped to the side. "Alright," he said.

"Don't worry, I'll put an end to his filthy talk once and for all," Kiba said, summoning his Sword of Betrayer.

"Look what we have here! It's the pretty boy Knight who used his scary sword to cut me down last time we met," Freed said mockingly. "But no hard feelings. I've got this bodacious body upgrade because of you. The super invincible mutated monster Freed is coming to get you, mister puny Mark. Wanna throw down? I'll throw down, Nancy!" He laughed as he rushed towards Kiba like the mad man he was.

"We'd all prefer it if you would cease to exist!" Kiba yelled with a glare.

SLICE!

With Knightly speed, Kiba cut into the body of Freed before reappearing behind him in the blink of an eye. A second later, Freed's body broke apart, after Kiba cut him in two horizontally. With such ease, it made Kenny wonder what was the point of his mutated transformation and strength.

"Oh, come on. When the hell did you get so strong?" Freed asked, still alive as he fell to the floor.

"When did you become so weak?" Kiba asked, walking up to the monster as he glared down at him.

Freed growled in frustration. "Well, it won't matter soon. You chumps don't stand a snowball's chance in hell of beating the big shots pulling the strings."

"Maybe, but you should've saved your last words for the God of Death," Kiba replied, before stabbing Freed's head. Finally ending the life of the mad priest once and for all. Everyone in the ORC that his soul would be dragged to the deepest pits of the Inferno and will spend eternity repenting for his evil deals.

With Freed finally dead, Kenny's rage was back on one person. The one that started all of this. "Diodora! Get out here and face me now, coward!" He shouted.

The blue curtains slowly roll up. And behind it was revealed to be Diodora Astaroth, lounging on a large throne. Connected to the throne was a device of some kind that looked to be spinal cords twisted and tangled together. And it was this device that held Asia above the Devil. Holding her in place by her arms and ankles.

"Asia!" Kenny yelled.

Weakened and seemingly drained of her life force, Asia looked up at Kenny with tears in her eyes. "I knew you'd come."

This made Diodora laugh out loud in mockery. "What took you guys so long?! You should've seen her face when I told her the particulars of my plan. Her expression was absolutely priceless!" And like that, he started laughing again.

"You're a real scumbag, you know that?" Rias glared menacingly at the fallen Pure-Blooded Devil.

"I never get tired of it! My favorite moment is when a woman of faith and conviction gives into despair," Diodora said, laughing again. Asia silently started to cry above him.

Seeing his tears fall made Kenny's anger increase, and he growled. "You're a dead man if you don't stop talking right now, you fucker!"

"On the contrary, dear Asia still clings to hope. She still had hopes her dear friends would come and save her. Especially you, big bad Red Dragon Samurai. Of course, I'm certain he remembers the Fall Angel Raynare."

Kenny's eyes widened as he froze up.

"After that maniacal bitch killed poor little Asia, I'd planned on offing Raynar and giving Asia an Evil Piece. And I mean that both literally and euphemistically."

Sickened by Diodora, Rias glared at him. "You are disgusting!"

But Diodora chuckled at that remark. "You may be right. I was caught off guard when the samurai or a reasonable facsimile thereof interfered with my plan. It was my mistake to think that a weak Devil like you would die instantly. And to add insult to injury, you used that fairy's wish to bring her back to life. The worst part was Rias swooping in and snatching up Asia into her Peerage."

"So it was you," Kenny said, glaring at Diodora with all the hate he felt in his soul. Before, he hated Raynar the most out of all the enemies he'd met because of the pain and suffering she caused, but now this creep just managed to rank higher than the bitch. "You're the reason Asia was kicked out of the church. You're why Raynar went after her. You're why she was caught up with the Fallen Angels. You're the reason she died that night! You were behind everything bad that happened to her!"

Diodora chuckled in amusement. "But don't worry, I've forgiven you. After all, being part of your club is the reason she's gotten her hopes up so high. She'll drop to the deepest despair imaginable once I've killed her friends in front of her very eyes." He opened his eyes slightly to look at Kenny. "Asia is still a virgin, isn't she? I don't want the samurai's sloppy seconds."

"Shut up…" Kenny said, his Boosted Gear's green gem flashed a green light repeatedly. But as Diodora continued on, the flashing increased in speed and intensity as Kenny got angrier and angrier.

"I must say I do rather enjoy the idea of stealing her away from you, though. Our own custom virgin primae noctis," said Diodora as he grinned like a madman. "I must admit, the mere thought of taking Asia away as she calls out your name is absolutely delicious!"

"DIODORA!" Kenny roared out in furious rage as he unleashed his power.

[Welsh Dragon: Balance Breaker!]

"YOU'RE GONNA DIE!" Kenny roared as he activated his Balance Breaker armor, causing a large column of angry red aura to engulf his body. All he wanted was to put an end to Diodora's plan, and he'll do it by making him suffer and inflicting as much pain on him without any mercy.

With the Scale Mail covering his body, Kenny stepped forward as the steam cleared away from him. He stepped past his love, seething with anger. "Don't try and stop me."

"I didn't have plans to," Rias said, glaring at Diodora. "Make him bleed."

Kenny gripped the Sword tightly. "You ready, Ddraig?"

[I'll back your moves, partner.]

An amused Diodora burst out laughing. "Nice armor! The lights are a cute touch! But I have a snake direct from Ophis, supposedly so venomous its bite is rumored to be an instant kill—"

Kenny appeared in front of him with his wings open.

SLAB!

The Sword's blade ran straight through Diodora's stomach, catching him completely off guard, and he spat blood from his mouth. Good, because Kenny didn't want this to be over too soon. He growled before pulling out the Sword and throwing Diodora out of the throne and onto the ground.

Clenching his stomach as blood poured out of it, Diodora struggled to get up. "Filthy oaf! I'm a high-ranking Devil, you wretched boar! Part of the bloodline of the current Great Devil Beelzebub!"

"Your bloodline means nothing to me!" Kenny yelled as he folded his wings and approached him.

"It's everything to me!" Turning to face him, Diodora held out a hand and launched many magical attacks against Kenny. However, the samurai would deflect all these useless attacks with the Sword. How can a well-bred noble like me lose to a lowly reincarnated savage like you?! It just isn't right! IT ISN'T FAIR!" He screamed, making small shields to protect himself from Kenny.

"You're one to talk about fair after what you did!" Kenny raised up his leg.

BASH!

He kicked through the shield and hit Diodora straight in the face, sending him flying back. Kenny watched as the nobleman was writhing in pain, the likes of which he'd never felt. He rolled around on the floor like a pathetic little bitch while cradling his face. "It hurts! It hurts! My beautiful face!"

"You're pathetic," said Kenny in a dark tone. "You claim to have so much power because of your nobility, but you didn't earn that power. Blood doesn't make you greater than anyone. Your family would be rolling in their graves if they could see how far the future of their lineage has fallen. What's happening to you is justice for all the pain and despair you inflicted on your victims!"

Kenny stepped towards him and stood over the Devil. "I don't understand. I've gotten so much stronger with the power Ophis gave me," Diodora said in pure fear before yelling out in pain when Kenny stabbed his leg. He pulled the Sword out and was about to stab him again. "I refused to let a filthy dragon beat me!"

Diodora raised his hands towards Kenny. The samurai jumped back before a barrier separates the two. Seeing Kenny on the other side, Diodora laughed maniacally and once again gloated like he was now invincible.

"And now you're trapped! My magic barrier is impenetrable! An idiot like the soon-to-be dead Red Dragon Samurai hasn't got a chance in hell of beating me! I'll kill you and take the Sword for myself!"

"You talk too much," Kenny said, pulling his arms back while pointing the Sword at the barrier. He then walked towards the barrier and stabbed the Sword into it. Trying to puncture through and get through. As he did so, his Sacred Gear started working into overdrive.

[Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost!]

Diodora laughed at Kenny. "Keep trying, it's cute!"

But the Sacred Gear just continued boosting Kenny's power. It didn't take long for the barrier to form a crack that spread out like a spider web. And then…

CRASH!

The barrier shattered like glass. Diodora was shocked to see his so-called impenetrable magic barrier be taken down.

"You made Asia! You're going to pay for that!" Kenny yelled, swinging the Sword upwards at Diodora. The scared Pure-Blood tried to use his arm to shield himself.

SLICE!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Diodora screamed in agony as he arm was lobbed off, and he was sent flying straight up. His body crashed into the ceiling before he fell down and landed on the ground, hard.

Clenching his severed shoulder as blood dropped to the ground, Diodora tried to stand on shaking legs. But the stab wound in his leg made that impossible. He used a nearby pillar for support.

"Impossible. I can't be defeated…I-I beat Agares. I even had a plan to deal with Sairaorg!" Diodora coughed up more blood. "There's no way I expected to lose to the Gremory family, whose main claim to fame is fraternizing with their servants!" He then held out his hand before Kenny and built up magical power. "I AM DIODORA OF THE ASTAROTH FAMILY!"

Kenny transferred the Sword over to his left hand, before holding out his left arm to the side. Charging a Red Dragon Slash as he Boosted his power.

[Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost!]

"DIE!" Diodora screamed and launched his full power toward Kenny. But the samurai countered him by swinging his glowing white sword at him.

SSSHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKK!

The massive arch of white energy flew towards Diodora at great speed. It destroyed Diodora's attack, but missed him just by a hair's length over his head. He screamed as the arch cut through the wall, destroying it along with several pillars. The Red Dragon Slash flew across the skies of the Underworld for about a mile, before it disintegrated and disappeared.

As the dust cleared, the wall was revealed to have collapsed on itself. But amazingly, the debris completely missed Diodora himself.

Diodora was completely petrified as he slunk against the pillar he was standing near and sat on the ground. Fear gripped him as Kenny approached him.

Kenny picked up the frightened and bloodied Diodora in his left hand and held him up by his collar. The samurai glared at the pathetic man as he raised his sword to finish him off. Diodora stared at the samurai in utter terror.

But he was stopped when Rias' soft hands grasped around his arm. Kenny looked at her, and she said with a small smile, "He's beaten, Kenny. He's not a threat."

Kenny wanted to argue back. He wanted to say that as long as Diodora lived, there was a chance he'd come back for revenge. But Kenny knew that his love was right. Diodora wouldn't be able to hurt Asia again after this. Not if he didn't want to die.

Lowering his sword, Kenny's helmet vanished so that he could glare at Diodora. "You will not come near us again. You will not come for Asia again," he growled at him, before dropping Diodora's body to the ground. He turned away before he could see the disgraced Devil piss his pants.

Kenny quickly flew over to Asia and tried to rip the restraints off her arms. "Come on…." He growled, trying his best to rip them off, but it was no use. "I can't get her out!"

"Surely the power of the Welsh Dragon is enough to break it!" Rias said in shock.

Jumping away from her, Kenny flew over to Diodora and stomped on his injured leg. Making him yell out in pain. "How do I get her out?"

Pushing past the pain, Diodora laughed and looked up at Kenny with a smug look on his face. "You can't! It's a custom-made seal, created especially for me by a certain Longinus user. I was given the promise it would disarm when everything was over, but on the off chance you Gremory clowns were actually able to defeat me, I had the seal set to consume her entirely rather than let her escape!"

"What?! Turn it off, you bastard!" Kenny yelled.

"I'd rather have her disappear from existence than hand her back over! There's nothing you can do!"

Rias came over and kicked him in the face. Kenny backed away as he watched Diodora scream in pain again. Rias glared down at the pathetic Devil as she shook in anger. "You will not get away with this.

"There has to be a way to break her out!" Akeno said in shock, not sure what to do here.

Frowning, Kenny struggled for a moment to come up with an idea. However, what Akeno said made him think of something. "Break…"

Rias looked at her love with a confused expression. "Did you say something?" She asked.

Instead of answering her, Kenny turned around and flew back to Asia. Her body was starting to glow a blue aura. "Asia, are you still with me?" He asked.

"I'm still here," she said rather weakly.

CRACK!

Kenny swung the sword down on the arm that had her left wrist. It didn't break the device, but it did make a small cut into it. Seeing this, Kenny repeated this all around the device, much to the confusion of everyone. What he was going to do was something very risky, but it was the only idea Kenny had.

"Ddraig, I'm counting on you to pull this off," Kenny said with a smile.

[What are you talking about, kid?]

Smiling at Asia, Kenny placed a hand on her shoulder. "Asia, I'm going to cover your body in my magic to protect you. I don't know how well this will work, but I'm going to get you out," he said, as Asia's body was soon outlined by the power of his Sacred Gear.

"Kenny, be careful!" Rias urged.

Kenny smiled back at her before yelling, "Alright, Ddraig! Give it everything you've got!"

[Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! BOOST!]

"ARMOR BREAKER! BALANCE BREAKER: BOOSTED!"

All of the cuts Kenny made into the device started to glow blindingly bright before Kenny and Asia were covered in a massive explosion of pure red energy. Asia screamed in terror, but the shield around her body protected her. Then, the device was completely destroyed. Breaking into pieces and freeing Asia. The young girl fell into Kenny's arms as they both fell backwards and landed on the ground.

"Beautiful…" Akeno said, touching her face before running forward. She and everyone rallied to Asia and Kenny, as his Scale Mail armor disappeared.

"Kenny, please be okay," Asia said as she sat up and looked down at Kenny.

"I'm all good, Asia," Kenny said, smiling up at her.

Where he was laying on the ground, Diodora couldn't believe his eyes. "No…way. The Longinus seal's been broken…"

Kenny stood up as Xenovia was the first to rush to Asia and hug her as tears of joy fell from her eyes. "Asia, thank God! I wouldn't know what to do if you were gone. I mean it."

Pulling away from her friend and fellow believer in Good, Asia took out a handkerchief and dried the blue-haired girl's tears away. "I'm not going anywhere, because I'll always have you and Kenny to protect me. Right, Xenovia?"

Xenovia nodded and smiled at the blonde girl. "You can count on me. I'll look out for you no matter what the future throws at us."

The next person to hug the small girl was her King. Rias walked up behind Asia and wrapped her arms around her from behind, and pulled her into a tight hug.

"I'm sorry." Asia said, looking at Rias.

"You've done nothing to apologize for, I'm just glad you're back with us where we can keep you safe," said the redhead beauty with a smile. Happy to have her little sister figure back.

Asia nodded in agreement. "Yes… I feel the same way."

"I'm so glad Asia's back!" Gasper exclaimed with tears of joy. "But now my brain's freaking out about all the scary stuff that happened today!"

Koneko patted him on his head gently. "It's alright. There there, Gaspy."

After Rias pulled away from the former nun, she looked to see Kenny standing nearby. Smiling at her. "Kenny!" Asia soon ran up to the samurai and wrapped her arms around him tightly.

Kenny chuckled slightly, before hugging her back as tightly as he could, without squeezing the former nun. "Sorry I was late. Stuck in traffic," he said jokingly.

Asia chuckled and looked at him. "I believed in you. I was sure you would come for me, Kenny. I knew you would come for me, Kenny. I know you always will."

"Doesn't mean all of this should've happened," Kenny said, petting her blonde hair softly. "I should've acted sooner."

However, Asia shook her head with a smile. "I'm fine now, and it's because you're here with me, Kenny," said the blonde girl with her big green eyes that Kenny fell in love with.

Kenny smiled back at her, happy to have her back.

However, the temple they were in rumbled lightly, getting the attention of the others. "Sounds like the battle's still going on," Kenny said. He then reached into his belt and pulled out Asia's dagger and held it out to her. "If you want, you can join us and finish this fight. Or we can take you home. It's your choice."

Asia looked at the dagger and smiled. She took it and looked at Kenny. "I'll always fight with you, Kenny. But before we leave, I'll say a little prayer," Asia said, walking away for a moment.

Kenny raised an eyebrow, but didn't stop her. After all, she went through, it was something she deserved.

Walking a few feet away from the group, Asia got down on both knees, put both hands together in front of her heart, and began to pray in silence. However, as she did so, a strange golden light shined down from the ceiling and encompassed her body. Strangely enough, Kenny's mind felt a connection to Asia's, allowing him to hear her voice.

"Heavenly Father, please hear my prayer. Continue to protect Kenny and help him grow as you always have done. Also, from this day forward and till the end of time, let us all live in peaceful bliss together with Kenny."

However, as she started to bring her prayer to a finish, the bright light increased in intensity. So much so that her body wasn't able to be seen again. Then the light shrunk down before it disappeared completely.

And Asia vanished with it.

Confusion spread immediately to everyone in the room, wondering what on earth happened to her. Soon, they started to panic as sorrow overtook them. They had just rescued their dear friend from the clutches of the enemy, only for her to vanish just after being rescued. The person to feel the worst of this panic and sorrow was Kenny, who could still hear her remaining words.

"Swear to me we'll be together forever. I don't want to be alone. You promise, Kenny?"

Episode XXXIII

Asia

And here we are, one of the best moments of the 3rd season. I did have plans to combine this chapter and the Juggernaut Drive episode into one, just like how I combined the last two episodes into one. However, that was mostly to get through all the more mundane parts of the story out of the way faster than to have it be split into separate chapters. But don't worry, the next chapter will be a roller coaster of excitement.

The first change to the story comes in the form of the Army of Darkness unleashing a surprise attack on not just the Gremory team, but the Underworld as well. This was done because later on in DxD Born, we hear one of the Devil telling Issei about a terrorist attack by the Khaos Brigade that killed a lot of people. So, I had that bit of information be replaced by an attack by the beetle drones. And to assist in the fighting on the ground is Sona and her peerage.

The moment where Kenny slices some of Diodora's Pawns was inspired by Ghost of Tsushima's standoff mechanic. I'll definitely be using fighting moves from that game going forward in the story. Plus, we get harem shenanigans with Akeno and Rias.

I definitely enjoyed having Kenny cutting up Diodora within an inch of his life.

The next chapter is definitely one that we've been waiting to see: the Juggernaut Drive episode. Until then, I'll be working on Gem of War and Living in a Frog World. Can't wait for Kenny to go on his rampage.
