Another one-shot of LC&KT

Marry Christmas to all.

This is actually based on a Afrikaans song: Karlien Van Jaarsveld Dans In Die Ren.

Guest: Hi Thanks for reminding me about the age in the previous one shot, but I wanted Kurtis to be older than Lara.

Everyone enjoy

Lara stepped out onto the quiet road of Salt Lake City, with her heart beating fast as she walked briskly down the path, scanning the surroundings for any sign of Kurtis. She had been trying to find him for what seemed like hours, but it was not as easy as she had hoped. She knew that she had to tell him how she felt about him, but she didn't know exactly how to do it. She was hoping that when he stood near her, he would be able to read the signs and understand that she really did like him a lot.

As she walked, it started to rain heavily, and the streets emptied out quickly. However, a house nearby was playing Christmas songs so loud she could hear them. She couldn't resist the sound of the music and the rhyme of the songs, which she could tell was a love song. She began to dance in the rain, letting herself be carried away by the beat, and she continued down the path trying to figure out where Kurtis' house could be.

As she danced, people started coming out of their houses, peering curiously at the woman who was seen dancing in the rain. A little boy shouted with excitement, pointing at Lara's direction, and soon, more people joined him. It started to rain harder, and the music faded in the distance, but Lara ignored those who stared at her as she kept on dancing. She felt free, alive, and happy as the raindrops mixed with her tears, and she danced with all her heart.

Suddenly, her eyes caught a glimpse of Kurtis watching her dance. Her heart skipped a beat, and she smiled as he walked closer to her. He could see the happiness and excitement in her eyes as she danced, and he couldn't resist the urge to dance near her. They danced together under the pouring rain, letting the music and the rain wash away their worries and fears. It was a magical moment, a moment that Lara knew would stay with her forever.

In the end, it didn't matter that she couldn't find the right words to say to Kurtis. All that mattered was the moment they shared together, a moment that they both knew was special and unforgettable. They danced in the rain that Christmas night, surrounded by the love and warmth of the holiday season, and for a brief moment, they forgot about everything else in the world.
