Woah, it's snowing, I've never seen it before and so cool, well techincally cold, no wonder the house's cold, hope Tom and Maddie notice, we could do all the snow stuff I've seen kids in this town and people do, plus shouldn't they be up by now, Tom has work and Maddie might be on call at her veterinary clinic…

"Sonic, you up, breakfast's ready, you're gonna need it for snow stuff." he heard Maddie calling from downstairs making the young hedgehog male excitedly leave his room and sliding down the banister landing on his feet which were sockless right now, but would put socks on with his signature sneakers going into the kitchen seeing Tom and Maddie up sitting at the table yawning and stretching seeing pancakes and hot cocoa as Tom and Maddie had decided it was a bad idea to give him coffee knowing what would happen, energy drinks were also banned hearing him talking about snow day antics, making Tom and Maddie exchange a smirk, knowing in the past he'd watched kids playing in the snow but now that everybody in Green Hills knew about and accepted him, he could experience it, like baseball and chilli-dogs.

"Yep, it's gonna be a good day, maybe get Tails involved, Kunckles if he feels like it." Sonic replied wanting to speed-eat knowing when he did it, it caused a mess so deciding to just take his time, the snow wasn't going anywhere relieving Tom and Maddie as he was basically a kid like the others in Green Hills who he hung out with a lot, or when they were in school, amused himself despite promising not to do Blue Justice, let Tom and the Green Hills Police Force do their job despite him having powers and wanting to help them.

"Okay buddy, but bundle up, you don't wanna freeze your quills off, or get sick." Maddie told him seeing Tom nodding, knowing they cared about him since they'd adopted him of sorts, plus Maddie's clinic was closed for the day so she could stay home just in case, something happened or their son needed help with something.

"I will, plus I should get the snowboard." Sonic told her.

"That's good, be careful." Tom replied as he left for the day after kissing Maddie and after finishing, Sonic went upstairs to his cave as he used to call it but now, it was his room which was sort of tidy going ijto the closet getting the snow-day stuff including the snowboard, seeing the family dog, Ozzie entering seeing what was happening as Sonic left his room, snowboarding down the stairs making Maddie chuckle opening the door, seeing him landing in a soft snowbank, shaking snow off his head chuckling.

"It's going to be a good and long day for him, plus JoJo is probably goijg to be happy." she said closing the door to the house, deciding to make some hot cocoa for Sonic when he got back, realising he forgot to put socks and his sneakers on in his excitement about his first snow day, hoping he realised that and came back before his feet got cold.

"Hey I forgot my sneakers, but getting them." Sonic said speeding upstairs.

Maddie was relieved by this, knowing he was being smart hoping he was okay, feeding Ozzie as he was hungry hearing laughter outside knowing it was kids and her kid being dorky smirking drinking coffee to warm herself up as it was cold, hoping that Tom was having a good day while listening to the radio.

Meanwhile Knuckles, Sonic and Tails were having a major snowball fight plus some of the kids that Sonic hung out with in the neighbourhood were joining in as they liked hanging out with him, enjoying the snow day seeing Knuckles enjoying himself being a warrior, it was fun war compared to what Robotnik had made him do, surprised that Sonic let him be friends with him and Tails shaking a little from the cold as he wasn't used to this.

"You alright, Knuckles." he heard Sonic asking.

"I-I think so, and see you're having fun, this is your firsr snow-day." Knuckles said, seeing Sonic nodding throwing a snowball protecting him and Tails from getting hit by snowballs impressing them by his loyalty, seeing him shivering a little from the cold making Knuckles and Tails exchange a look asking if he was okay guessing he was getting cold despite being bundled up.

"Y-Yeah but M-Maddie saidto go inside, I-if it's t-too c-cold." he replied to them as they were going to the Wazowski house impressing Maddie, seeing that they'd been having snow fun and needed warming up seeing Sonic hug her, after taking off his winter-clothes feeling a little better after being out in the snow, sneezing a little making Knuckles, Maddie and Tails a little concerned hearing that.

"It must be because it's cold, you know." Sonic replied drinking hot cocoa warming up deciding they should build snowmen making Knuckles curious, as they were going outside again making Maddie grin getting a call from Tom just checking in relieved things were calm for once, not Blue Justice up to antics.

"Snowprank," she heard Sonic yell from outside and Knuckles surprised, with him and Tails laughing hysterically as she came out seeing Sonic covered in snow looking cute but concerned hearing him sneezing a lot, making her and his friends concerned saying they'd video-chat later as he was going inside feeling weird, sneezing more blowing into a tissue thanking Maddie.

"You're welcome but maybe put something warm on." she told him seeing him going upstairs to his room, putting on black pyjamas with a ring pattern over them putting them on feeling tired after all that snow antics deciding to take an nap, besides Tom would be back in a while, then they'd decide on dinner lying on his side zoning-out.

After a while, Tom was home but wondered why the driveway was totally covered in snow guessing why, walking inside kissing Maddie asking where Sonic was, hearing he was upstairs in his room going upstairs to get changed checking on their son seeing him in pyjamas asleep on his bed, leaving him be as he had a long day of snow fun guessing he'd tell them at dinner, if he felt like it going back downstairs telling Maddie a certain somebody was taking an nap, relieving her saying that certain somebody might be coming down with a cold deciding to get takeout, it had been a crazy day plus making some homemade chilli-dogs knowing that got Sonic to try new foods.

They saw Sonic come downstairs a bit later, sitting on the couch still feeling weird excited they were having takeout besides sort of smelling Chilli-dogs relieving Tom and Maddie as they cared about him knowing that he'd had a fun and long day in the snow
