Bleach: The Strangers from a Conquered World
On this earth, the Supernatural occurs more than one would like to believe. For thousands of years, the balance of spiritual energy has been maintained by The Shinigami, Spirits who have two missions, to send the ghosts known as Pluses to the afterlife and to prevent beast-like Hollows from devouring the Pluses. Though the majority of the Earth's populace are not aware of any of these battles, there are a few exceptions as certain humans in the realm of the living are born with high amounts of Spiritual Energy. Karakura Town, a small city in Western Tokyo with a decent size population is where this story begins.
Track One: Different World
5:30 AM
In a random alleyway, a young man with short black hair, wearing a tan jacket and black shirt with matching pants, opened his violet colored eyes to see the sky before dawn.
"Ugh...?" The teen asked before coming to his senses and noticing the alleyway.
"Wait, this isn't Ashford!" He thought to himself in a panic before charging out of the alleyway to see only a few people walking in the street, none noticing the boy as they continued on with their lives. Attempting to calm himself, the youth noticed another oddity to this place, the signs were written in a language he saw almost a decade ago.
"...What is..."
"So you have awakened, Lelouch Vi Britannia." A woman's voice called out to him as a girl who appeared to be his age walking towards him in a Grey school uniform with long bright green hair and yellow eyes.
"C.C. Where are we?!" His tone turned serious as a thought raced through his mind.
"Why did you revealed my true name in public!? Are you planning to have me killed?"
However, the girl sneezed before explaining.
"I don't actually know for once. But you can tell with the written language on this sign that we must be in Japan." The green haired witch pointed at a nearby sign.
Lelouch thought the girl was just mocking him, he knew some Japanese thanks to an old friend, but he hasn't witnessed the writing since then.
"Of course we're in Japan, but where are we exactly and how come..."
The girl sighs.
"Yes, but please look around, but this isn't Area Eleven, this is a section of Tokyo the locals named Karakura Town and before you woke up, I scouted ahead. There are no Knightmares or Soldiers shooting at these civilians, are there? Or are you still half awake?"
Lelouch was about to snap back with something witty, but began to notice how the nearby buildings weren't as European as his home and there were at least one or two structures based on deities of the lost Japanese mythology. "...You're right...wait, does that mean..."
"HEY YOU!" A random male's voice came from the side as a tall teen with bleached hair and eyebrows walked towards the duo. Lelouch couldn't help himself from noticing the lip ring and the taller boy's attempt to walk like he's a threat while his hair flops around.
"Well, this is new..."
The violet eyed boy thought as the blonde got up in the shorter youth's face.
"I'm sorry, is there something I can help you with?"
"Yea, I don't know you and the green babe here but give me one reason I shouldn't knock you on ya ass." The male with the wannabe thuggish appearance questioned the weak appearing teen.
"Hmm, I can fully understand Japanese now...as well as speak it without any issues." Lelouch thought before asking the punk. "Umm...why would you knock me out? I really don't see the reason."
"SHUDDUP! I'M ASKING YOU THE QUESTIONS, ASS FOR BRAINS!" The delinquent barked but to his surprise, the duo just stared at the chicken haired teen, sharing the same thought.
"Ass for brains, he couldn't come up with something more clever?"
"OKAY! YA BOTH JUST PISSED' ME OFF!" The punk screamed before pulling out some brass knuckles.
"This could be a problem..." C.C. thought to herself before the delinquent laughed as he pulled his arm and attempted to throw a punch, while keeping eye contact with the dark haired teen.
"LET'S SEE IF YOU KEEP ON LAUGHIN' WITH A SCREWED UP FA...!" Before the punch could land, the taller male stopped in his tracks.
"Now, tell me, who are you and where is the nearest Britannian outpost." Lelouch commanded.
C.C. sighs in disapproval, but at the same time, thought "Well, it was either him using the Geass or letting this idiot give me a headache."
"Name is Reiichi Ōshima and there's no Britain Outpost."
"SO, it does seem that Britannia has yet to conquered Japan, or maybe.." The black haired teen had a few other questions but, just to make sure no one noticed anything weird command the thug.
"Follow us."
5:55 AM
The trio was at a river, and luckily for the two off-earthers, Reiichi was still under mind control. "Alright my first question is this country's name is still Japan or is it Area Eleven?"
"This is Japan, not Area Eleven."
"Are there Knightmares on this earth?"
"Are you talkin' about bad dreams?"
"Hmm, so there are no Knightmares and Britannia has not invaded Japan." Lelouch then thought of something from his earth's history. "I could ask him if Washington's rebellion was actually successful, however, he has a lot of doubt that this guy cares about history outside or even of Japan's."
"Your school uniform, which school does it belong to."
"Karakura High."
"...That last one makes sense actually. Well, it's time to end this." Lelouch thought as he began to notice his control was waning.
"Reiichi, I command you to walk in the water until it's up to your knees, and punch yourself with the brass knuckles, oh and also make sure to fall backwards, so you won't drown yourself."
"Yes..."
Within a matter of seconds, the blonde haired punk did as he was told and knocked himself out with a single punch.
"I'm guessing for all his talk, the kid wasn't that tough, but it's better than the alternative." The girl haired girl lightly chuckled as Reiichi's unconscious body floated down the river bed.
"Doesn't matter, we need to figure out if anyone else is from our version of Earth."
As the black haired male said this, a couple of grim thoughts echoed in his mind.
"At worst, if any members of Britannia nobility are here... .I doubt anyone here can defend themselves from my Father's goons."
As the duo walked away from the riverbed, neither noticed a black cat with bright yellow eyes watching them from the roof of a nearby building before jumping off and walking off to an unknown location.
6:10 AM
A teen with orange spiky hair wearing the Karakura high summer uniform yawned as he made his way to school. "I wish I had a better night's sleep."
With all of the strangeness of these last couple of months, no one would blame him for being tired.
"Rukia's alarm kept going off and kept leading us to one dead end after another."
The teen pondered as he thought about the last few months in his young life. "Between being a Substitute Shinigami, the Hollows, and that weirdo on television, my life has been one thing after another." The teen thought before noticing an old man fishing on the riverbed.
"That geezer again, still thinking that there's..."
However, the man's line caught something."OH YEAH! I GOT SOMETHING BIG!" The man cheered.
"Huh, I guess I spoke too soon."
However, to their shared surprise, the man pulled up the now conscious Reiichi!
"AUGHH!" The punk screamed.
"HUH!? THE HELL IS HE DOING IN THE RIVER?!" The orange haired male thought before Reiichi noticed him.
"ICHIGO KUROSAKI!" The taller teen screamed.
"And I'm guessing I know what he wants..." The shorter teen sighs before Ōshima stops himself and loudly attempts to remember.
"Wait, you didn't knock me out... Was it Sado...No..."
"...Well, this is weird..." Ichigo thought to himself as the taller teen stood in the water, trying to recount the previous night.
"Was it...Nah, Asuno's a wimp...I think I'm starting to remember...Nope, the guy with the glasses wasn't on my radar."
"...Might as well leave him be..." Ichigo shook his head as he went on to the school, before leaving the orange haired teen heard the punk thought aloud while the old man continued to scream at the idiot.
"There was that green girl but...why can't I remember who.."
"You're scaring the rest of the fishes away, get out of the damn river!"
To be Continued...
