The Chosen Ones: Chapter 10
The following morning, after eating breakfast, Buffy got on her knees to get her hot and creamy post-breakfast treat.
The beautiful blonde girl's hand was reaching for the fly of the hot Veela boy's pajama pants. His eyes were gleaming with excitement, and hers were full of desire and hunger. Their hearts were beating faster with anticipation for what was about to happen. They could feel the lust coursing through their veins, and the sexual hunger they had for one another was growing. He was wearing faded blue jeans and a Nirvana T-shirt.
"Good morning." Death said in a bright and cheerful voice. "I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" He asked while looking at them.
"It was nothing that we couldn't do later." Harry calmly said before stepping to the side.
If he was back in his own world, he would have cursed the person who had interrupted his Buffy time.
"For longer, too." Buffy commented with a sly smile while an idea began forming in her head.
She planned on giving Harry an hour-long blowjob, having him make love to her, giving him another hour-long blowjob, letting him fuck her brains out, and giving him another hour-long blowjob. Then she planned to make love to Harry with him in her ass while slowly riding him as he drank milk from her breasts, and giving him another hour-long blowjob.

The goblins would have removed it if they did a medical scan on you and, in doing so, would have found the one in the Lestrange Vault. Dumbledore's ultimate plan was for the prophecy child to die so he could sweep in and take out a weakened Voldemort." Death said before opening his bottle of root beer. "You already know Dumbledore bound your magic and blocked off your Veela side. However, you should know that you were destined to be about 10% more powerful than Voldemort was. Now, Voldemort marking you as his equal was meant to boost your magical core by the same amount he possessed in addition to what you currently had. This was meant to make up for the lack of experience and everything else he did to himself. So, you gained an equal amount of his power on top of what you already had that night at 15 months old, and you would gain even more from the growth of that impressive power as you matured. Because of this, you will be about 330% more powerful than Voldemort when your magic is fully developed. Which makes you about 150% more powerful than Merlin was. When Dumbledore examined you that night and saw how much power you had, he bound a lot more of it than he originally planned. He also bound a lot more than he thought he would have to." Death told his many-times great-grandson before taking a sip of his root beer.
"Harry, your mother did find out that she was a Veela the summer after she graduated from Hogwarts when she went to Gringotts with James for an inheritance test. They removed the block, and she used charms to hide the silver traits. Your parents only told Sirius and Dumbledore about her status after they were married. When you were born, your mom immediately knew that you were a Veela because she could sense it, and she only told your father. When Dumbledore first told them of the prophecy that could be applied to you or Neville, they knew right away that you were the prophecy child. But they never told Dumbledore or anyone about you being a male Veela. Dumbledore only found out because he ran various magical scans on you after that Halloween night, and it showed up. As for how it happened, that was a combination of your mother's Veela side being bound past her magical maturity and Potter family magic ensuring a male is always born first." Death said as he continued explaining things he knew they would ask about.
Buffy had Purgatory create a bowl of movie theater popcorn for her and started munching on it.
"Now, it wasn't your mother who saved you that night, Harry. While she did perform a self-sacrificial ritual to protect you, it wouldn't have been powerful enough to block the killing cures. It was actually a few things that saved you. The first is that after Voldemort killed your father, you were the last person with Peverell blood still alive, which also happens to be from me. So even though you didn't have them, you were the true owner of all three Deathly Hallows and the Master of Death, as they say in your world, when you were 15 months old. Which means you were immortal, and instant death effects will not work on you. That is why the killing curse doesn't work on you. Because it is an instant death effect, just like the Basilisk stare wouldn't work on you either. Although being a Parselmouth makes you immune to the stare of a Basilisk anyway. So that night, when Voldemort tried killing you without marking you first, he was essentially trying to cheat the prophecy, which is why his spell rebounded on him and destroyed his body. It was meant to punish him and give you time to grow up and prepare." Death said to continue explaining things.
He took a sip of his Barq's root beer.
"In case you were wondering, Voldemort was a descendant of the Peverells. But the moment he first split his soul and made a Horcrux, he was no longer alive. He was technically a Lich. Which is why he always called himself the Heir of Slytherin instead of Lord Slytherin. He was unable to claim the lordship." Death told the green-eyed boy.
Harry nodded his head in understanding. Then he took some popcorn from the bowl his girlfriend offered him.
"Harry, you know most of what Dumbledore did, but he did more. Your parents left a Will that he used his position as Chief Warlock to seal. Because he knew if the Will was read, he couldn't send you to the Dursleys. Dumbledore wanted you there and their treatment of you so you would see both him and the magical world as your escape from their abuse and would do anything to protect and stay in that world. He did take money from your trust vault and used it to pay the Dursleys, but he couldn't touch items in your main Family vault. Dumbledore placed several compulsion charms on you and secretly gave you an alchemy-based loyalty potion to himself, Ron, and Molly Weasley. Also, Molly and Ron are the ones who dosed you and Hermione with love potions on the DVDs. After the diary incident, Ginny would have never gone along with messing with your minds like that." Death told the teenage boy sitting across from the table from him.
"I think that covers most of it, Harry. But you can ask questions after I cover the things for Buffy." Death said before taking a sip from his ice-cold bottle of Barq's root beer.
The teenage boy nodded in acknowledgment.
"Buffy, to answer the big question, the person messing with your mind was a Power That Be named Jasmine. She is the reason for the Angel situation, and that mind-warping of hers is why the whole Spike thing happened. That same mind-warping, along with the Mayor casting spells, is why you and your friends ignored Faith's need for help. There was a spell on you placed by Jasmine so you would be more persuasive to those you talked to about Angel. Willow, going off the deep end magic-wise, was fallout from Jasmine. She needed Angel to lose his soul and either kill you and get it back or get it back while you lived. Either way, he would leave Sunnydale to continue her plans. She used Willow as a conduit to cast the curse on Angel. Casting such a powerful and evil magic spell that early and without proper training tainted her magic. It is what led to her going off the deep end. It also doesn't help that she has an addictive personality. Now, Dawn as the Key and Glory was a big mess. When the monks made Dawn, they couldn't give her a soul. Which is why she was a little off." Death told Buffy to answer questions he knew she had.
He took another sip from his drink.
"As for the First Evil, I need to clarify a few things. The First is actually an Ancient God-King Demon. It was the first to break through the dimensional barrier to your world. It was also the most powerful of the demons that came through. That is why it calls itself The First. So, a long time ago, The First was a major problem for both Good and Evil. Like Voldemort, The First had no issue killing any of the demons on its side. So, The Powers That Be, some Demon Gods, and the First Slayer all worked together to destroy The First's body. Then, they imprisoned its essence for all time using their combined power. Now, when Xander revived you in the Master's cave, there were now two Slayers, and this happened inside the Hellmouth dimensional trap the Master was stuck in. Both of those factors made a small crack in The First's prison. This wasn't enough to let it out, but just enough to let it whisper through. Years later, when Glory opened her portal, it made that crack just a little bigger and weakened the prison overall. When Willow cast that Dark Resurrection spell, not only did she rip your soul from heaven. She also shattered The First's prison cell, releasing it completely." Death told Harry and Buffy to finish explaining how and why things were so bad in their worlds.
Harry and Buffy were cuddling and holding hands while Death was talking. They also enjoyed munching on the popcorn because Death had a great voice for storytelling. He also answered all of the major questions they had about their worlds.
"Any questions about either of your worlds before we get to my offer?" Death asked while looking at the two teenagers. "Also, you should know that both sets of DVDs and books about your lives would end up being sold in each other's universe." He commented while grinning.
"What would've happened to me if Jasmine didn't interfere?" Buffy asked while leaning into her boyfriend.
"You would have never met Angel because she was the one who nudged things so that he would go to Sunnydale. You would have still ended up in the Master's cave. Xander would have saved you because he's favored by Janus and uses him to cause minor chaos. You and he would have chosen different Halloween costumes and ended up having sex while possessed. Also, Xander went as Wolverine and kept all of his abilities because Janus likes him. You both would have stayed together as a couple, with Xander going on patrols and being an effective fighter because of Wolverine's powers. Kendra would never show up in Sunnydale. But she would still die, making Faith the next Slayer. After killing Kakistos, you would have dragged Faith to move in with you for a vampire-safe house. She would end up joining your relationship with Xander, and the three of you would have stayed together to the end. The Deputy Mayor wouldn't have been killed, but the Mayor still ascended, with the school getting blown up again. Willow would have learned magic properly and dated Tara, who would still be alive. When Glory showed up, Xander and Faith would have fought her that night at the tower, allowing you to keep Dawn from getting cut so the portal never opened." Death replied while looking at the blonde Slayer.
Death opened his mouth to start speaking and belched. It was a very long and loud one.
"Sorry about that. It's always Barq's Root Beer that does that." Death casually said before taking another sip of his root beer. "Any questions, Harry?" He asked while looking at him.
"What would've happened in my world if Dumbledore had not interfered." Harry replied while looking at his many-times great-grandfather.
"Sirius would have gotten a trial and been found innocent of all charges. He would have gotten custody of you and had the goblins scan your scar. The soul shard in your scar would have been removed, and the one in the vault would have been found. The Boy Who Lived nonsense still happened, and Sirius would have taken you to America. Your Veela heritage comes out and makes you very popular with the Veela coven in America. Because of Magical Britain's view of Veela as Dark Creatures and the Boy Who Lived stuff, you attend school in America. Voldemort gets his body back using Moody's blood during your fourth year. Dumbledore tells you and Sirius about it. You go to Hogwarts for your fifth year and kill Voldemort at the end of your fifth year at the Ministry of Magic when he makes his move for the prophecy. You end up with Fleur, Daphne Greengrass, Padma Patil, and a girl that you went to school with in America." Death said while looking at the raven-haired wizard.
"Is Daphne Greengrass a blonde girl?" Buffy asked with a sweet voice while looking at her boyfriend.
She knew who Padma was because of the movies about Harry's life. She also thought the actress was pretty and was slightly surprised when Harry told her the real Patil twins were much more beautiful.
"Yeah, she is." Harry replied while smiling.
"Petite, too?" Buffy asked while grinning.
"I wouldn't know because the school robes hide a lot." Harry replied with a shrug of his shoulders.
"Daphne Greengrass is five foot four and weighs 119 pounds with blonde hair." Death happily commented.
Harry winced, which his girlfriend saw, making her grin.
"How about the girl from the school in America?" Buffy eagerly asked while looking at Death.
"She's your world's version of Amy Madison." Death eagerly replied while grinning.
"Right, another tiny blonde girl." Buffy commented with a nod of her head. "You really do have a thing for tiny blond girls, don't you, Harry?" She asked her boyfriend with a teasing tone of voice and a knowing grin on her face.
"I have a thing for beautiful petite blonde girls, just like you, my love." Harry smoothly replied, purposely using his British accent mixed in with his phoenix voice before pulling her into a passionate and love-filled kiss.
Death sipped his beverage while the two teenagers were kissing.
A minute later, Death looked at his watch and then at the kissing couple. Then he loudly cleared his throat.
Harry and Buffy broke the kiss and cuddled with each other. Then they looked at the person who interrupted their sexy fun times earlier that morning and again when they were just kissing.
"Now, I imagine you both figured out that my offer is to send you back to fix these problems. I was originally going to send you back to your own worlds armed with the knowledge needed to fix everything. But seeing how you two are together and are soul bonded thanks to Harry's Veela magic that changes things. You will be going back together to both of your worlds if you accept. So, I will explain some things, and then we can go from there." Death said before emptying his Barq's root beer.
"Now, for Harry's world. Buffy, you don't have a counterpart there. So I will arrange for you to be born in that world on the same date as Harry while also giving you magic. Because of the Veela soul bond, you will end up being a Veela in his world, and you will be soul mates, which will be a big roadblock against Dumbledore's plans for Harry. This also gives Buffy legal protection, seeing how Magical Britain classifies Veela as Dark Creatures." Death said while looking at the teenage couple before belching again.
"Harry, I talked with my sister Fate. She is willing to change things to make things better for you and your world. But she will need some concessions from you to balance the Scales of Fate, as they say. First, your parents will still end up dying that night. But because it happened on Halloween, where the barrier between the land of the living and the dead is at its thinnest, it also allows me to tinker with things besides what my sister is offering. So we will change what happens that night. First, Sirius will get to Godric's Hollow before Hagrid. That is from my sister. While there, Sirius will just so happen to come across a Death Eater in full robes and a mask. He will do Magical Britain a huge favor and take a major piece off Dumbledore's chessboard by killing that Death Eater, Severus Snape. This is one of my changes because that man, with his purposely horrible teaching habits, is why there were so few Healers and Aurors to fight back against Voldemort. From my sister, Sirius will catch the rat, who will end up in Azkaban instead of the dog. He will take you to Gringotts to get examined. The goblins will remove the soul shard from your scar and find the one in the Lestrange vault. While there, Sirius will get your parents' Will read, then take you out of the country to be raised away from Magical Britain." Death said, starting to explain the plans he had made with his sister Fate.
He conjured an ice-cold bottle of Dr. Pepper and took a sip from it.
"Now, what my sister wants in return for these changes is that you will go back to Hogwarts at 11. You will let Voldemort's phantom escape in your first year like last time because for the prophecy to be fulfilled, he must have a body of his own and not be sharing one. You have free rein to do what you want for your second and third years. I suggest pranking and taking out the trash of that community. You can't go after Pettigrew when he escapes Azkaban, just like Sirius did during your third year. You will gather and destroy all but one of the Horcruxes, specifically Nagini. Your name comes out of the Goblet of Fire, and that is something else you can't change. Being the fourth champion has to happen. Which means you can't interfere with Crouch Jr. at all. You will grab the trophy and go to that graveyard like last time. But things will be very different this time because of a major loophole my sister and I want you to take advantage of." Death told the raven-haired wizard to explain what Fate wants in return for helping him out.
Harry thought over everything Death had said so far and what he knew about the events that happened until he found the loophole and laughed.
"Oh, that is bloody brilliant and perfect Karmic Justice, too." Harry said before laughing again, this time harder.
"Harry, could you explain what has you laughing? Because I can't figure out the loophole that you did." Buffy casually asked in a sweet voice.
Harry heard the underlying threat of no sex tonight if he didn't start explaining soon. So like any horny teenage boy when sex was on the line, he quickly did as his girlfriend wanted.
"Buffy, do you remember what I told you Voldemort looked like that night in the graveyard?" Harry asked with a huge smile on his face and his eyes dancing in glee while he was holding the urge to laugh again.
It was the same look his father sometimes had that would make his mother sigh while pinching her nose and hitting Harry's dogfather with a rolled-up newspaper.
"Yeah, you said he was some ugly baby-looking thing." Buffy stopped talking before laughing as well.
"Yep, once I get to that graveyard, I can easily stun the rat and kill Nagini with one of my phoenix fireballs. Then I kill Tom while he is trapped as a baby, just like he tried to kill me when I was a baby that Halloween. That baby's body was his alone. There wasn't another soul in the body because that would have messed up his ritual to get him a newer and better body." Harry told his girlfriend while looking at her. Then he looked at Death. "Will my fireballs destroy the Horcruxes? Because I got a strong feeling that they will." He asked because that would make destroying the Horcruxes easier.
His royal griffon side was of the opinion there was nothing that his fire couldn't destroy.
"Yes, they will destroy them. In fact, your phoenix fireballs are just as destructive as Fiendfyre, with the bonus of not having the evil taint that spell does. You were also right about that loophole, too." Death replied before sipping his beverage. "I believe I covered everything for Harry's world. Do you have any questions about what we talked about so far?" He asked his many-times great-grandson and his priestess while looking at them.
"You said that we will be soul mates in Harry's world. What exactly does that mean? Also, what about protecting us from people messing with our minds with spells or potions?" Buffy replied while she was cuddling with her boyfriend.
"Being soul mates in Harry's world is recognized as a magically binding marriage. All you have to do is share a kiss to seal it in place. When you seal your soulmate status, Buffy, you will get all of your powers back in Harry's world, and thanks to the soul bond, Harry will get them back, too. This is to help make things easier for you both. Because it is recognized as marriage, this will automatically emancipate you, meaning you can use underage magic without trouble. Because soul mates are very important in the magical world, they have extra protection from the ICW when it comes to protecting each other. Meaning you can kill anyone who threatens your relationship or your mate, and you can't suffer legal trouble for doing so. For example, if a certain blonde ferret were to try to curse Buffy, then Harry could paint the walls of Hogwarts with his insides. He would not even lose house points or get a detention for doing so." Death replied before sipping his Dr. Pepper. "Now, for protecting your minds. Part of a soul mate bond makes you immune to any and all forms of mind magic and telepathy, including mind-alternating spells and potions. This will also keep Jasmine from messing with your minds as well." He said to finish answering Buffy's question.
"How are we going to get our memories back? What about Buffy's parents in that world, along with Sirius and Remus? They will notice the change in our personalities, which could be problematic." Harry asked Death before taking a sip of his Barq's root beer.
"In Harry's world, you both will get all your memories back when you go through your first Veela changes on your eighth birthday. As for Joyce, Sirius, and Remus, that is easy. Buffy, to make things easier, your mom in Harry's world will be your mom from your world. On your shared eighth birthday, they will be given all of their memories up to the moment they died, along with a conversation with me explaining what is going on. You and them won't be able to share your true origins without a secrecy vow in place. Also, we will be able to communicate through letters or dreams once you're back in the realm of the living to answer questions or explain things if needed." Death replied while looking at the green-eyed Veela. "Any more questions about the deal as it pertains to Harry's world?" He asked before sipping his Dr. Pepper.
Buffy and Harry looked at each other for a moment before shaking their heads in the negative.
"You covered our main concerns, and we can always ask you when you visit our dreams or exchange letters if we have more. So what are the conditions for my world's side of the deal?" Buffy replied while looking at Death.
She was very excited about having her real mom in Harry's world, along with her mom knowing everything in both worlds. She was also looking forward to being married in Harry's world.
"Harry, you don't have a counterpart in Buffy's world. So you will be set up as Buffy's foster brother with the same birthday as her. Both of you and Joyce will get your memories back when Harry goes through his first Veela change on your 8th birthday. You will also regain all of your powers when you seal your soul bond with a kiss. This will give you plenty of time to get adjusted to living again and setting up whatever you need for your time in Sunnydale. It will also give you time to change things for Xander, Faith, and Tara. However, some of your memories of what happened in Sunnydale before you died will be blocked, and almost everything that you saw happening on the DVDs after Xander revived you will be blocked, too. But you will get certain memories back that pertain to the two big bads you have to deal with in time. You will remember the truth about the Master and that prophecy so you can kill him while he is still trapped while staying alive. This will ensure that the First Evil's prison is fully intact and not damaged. Also, there won't be two Slayers running around, either. You will regain your memories about the Mayor after he makes himself invincible. Because he must go through his Ascension. But you can handle that easily enough. For Glory, you will get your memories back after your first encounter with her." Death said, starting to explain the details about the deal for Buffy's world. "Also, you won't be able to do anything about the vampires and demons in Sunnydale until you officially arrive there." He commented as an afterthought.
He took a sip from his ice-cold bottle of Dr. Pepper.
"For Dawn, Fate and I are going to interfere a lot. First, instead of making a golem, the ritual will be tweaked to make a fetus and send it to your mom using blood from both your parents. This way, Dawn will have a soul and have memories of a real life. My sister agreed to age Dawn up some, so she will be born on March 7th, 1983. This means she will still be 14 when she first gets to Sunnydale, like last time. She will also have the gift of magic because the Key will be connected to her soul. Harry, you will sense it and can start teaching her magic as it will be the same type of magic from his world. Neither of you will remember that Dawn is the Key, only that she is special and needs to be kept safe. You will remember that Dawn is the Key after your first run-in with Glory. You both will be able to deal with her easily enough, thanks to the Halloween costume event and with good planning. Fate and I will make a few changes to that Halloween costume fiasco to sweeten the deal. That includes letting you both and various others keep the powers from their costumes. One of the changes happening that night will make it so Willow won't be able to use magic." Death told the young couple more about the deal before taking a sip of his beverage. "Any questions about the deal for Buffy's world?" He asked while looking at the green-eyed wizard and the blonde Slayer.
"I have several. But the main one is, why do we get to keep more memories about Harry's world than we do of mine?" Buffy asked while looking at Death.
"You are keeping the memories of Harry's world future events because there is too much working against you in that world, and the sooner Riddle is taken out, the better. Also, he is the only main problem there. For your world, Buffy, there are certain events that need to happen. Like the Mayor going through his Ascension and the whole thing with Glory happening at the proper time. Plus, other minor things. My sister refuses to let you remember all of the monsters of the week crap in order to let you have memories of the Mayor and Glory early enough to make those things better. Again, it's to balance the Scales of Fate." Death replied while looking at his Priestess of Death. "However, my sister does have an offer to let you both keep most of your memories." He commented while looking at the two teenagers.
"What sort of deal?" Buffy and Harry asked at the same time.
They both laughed before grabbing a handful of popcorn.
"Both of you fall under my jurisdiction because you both have a connection to me and because I'm sending you back. So, Fate will let you keep most of your memories of what you watched on the DVDs and even give you the complete DVD set for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series. However, some things will be edited out because of blocked memories and added back once you regain the appropriate memories." Death replied while looking at them. "In exchange, Fate will have the right to take advantage of various situations in and around your lives to cause non-life-threatening and non-dangerous drama. I will add to this deal by making Harry a partial Metamorphmagus and giving Buffy the ability to fly under her own power. Also, you can cancel this deal at any time. But you will lose the DVDs and future knowledge. However, you will keep my side of the deal if you don't cancel before the Mayor's death." He told the teenage couple while looking at them.
"It doesn't sound bad to me, and I'd love the ability to fly under my own power. Keeping most of the memories will allow us to deal with problems before they happen. Also, it will give us more time to have fun in Sunnydale without worrying about the various vampires, demons, and apocalypses." Buffy eagerly told her boyfriend while smiling at him.
"That's true, and being a partial Metamorphmagus will come in handy." Harry said while looking at the breathtakingly beautiful blonde girl. Then he turned to look at his many-times great-grandfather. "What would I be able to do as a partial Metamorphmagus?" He asked while tilting his head to the side.
He had a few ideas but wanted to make sure.
"You would be able to move body mass around and change the color of your skin, hair, and eyes." Death replied while looking at the green-eyed boy. Then he looked at Buffy. "With enough training and practice, Harry will be able to grow a second and fully functioning penis." He told the always-horny teenage girl while grinning.
Death wondered if Harry and Buffy would ever figure out that the reason she is almost always horny is because of her soul bond to a Veela, who also happens to be a 14-year-old boy.
"Sold!" Buffy eagerly said with a massive grin before pulling her boyfriend into a passionate, tongue-intensive kiss.
Death sipped his ice-cold Dr. Pepper while the two teenagers were kissing again. He wondered if he should have waited until after Buffy got her post-breakfast treat earlier that morning before knocking on their door.
A minute later, Death looked at his watch and then at the kissing couple. Then he loudly cleared his throat.
Harry and Buffy broke the kiss and cuddled with each other. Then they looked at the person who interrupted their fun time for a third time that day.
"The deal to keep the memories sounds good to me." Harry said while smiling. "What does Fate look like?" He asked with a curious tone of voice.
"A typical beautiful woman. Personality-wise, imagine the love child between Rita Skeeter and Delores Umbridge. Fate has Rita's flair for the dramatics and Umbridge's sadistic side for certain people." Death replied while smiling.
"That sounds scarier than Voldemort." Harry commented with a slight shiver of fear.
"What about the memories of the Slayer Scythe because it looked awesome on the DVD?" Buffy eagerly asked before taking a sip of her Barq's root beer.
"You will get the memories of it after the Anointed one is made." Death replied while looking at the blue-eyed girl.
"You mentioned earlier about taking advantage of the Halloween costume event." Buffy said while resting her head on the raven-haired boy's shoulder. "Could you clarify that?" She asked while looking at Death.
"Well, you will be…" Death said before telling them about their costumes for the Halloween event and why they were getting them for their permanent upgrade to their abilities.
"Wow, I wasn't expecting that. But it will definitely be a major help with the Slayage." Buffy said with a surprised look on her face.
"Yeah, that will definitely help me out." Harry commented while smiling. "What about everyone else's costumes?" He asked while looking at his many-times great-grandfather.
The green-eyed boy took a handful of popcorn and ate it.
"Xander's will be up to him. Also, Janus, The God of Chaos and Change, likes Xander. So he will ensure it's a good one while getting to keep the abilities. Now, for Dawn and Willow…" Death replied before telling them what costumes the two girls would get.
"Huh, that will make sure Dawn is safe and keep Willow from doing magic." Buffy commented while cuddling with her boyfriend.
"They should have fun with those abilities." Harry said before kissing the blue-eyed Slayer on the cheek. "How will my magic be explained in Buffy's world, with mine being so different from what is used in her world? Will the Mayor and others be able to pick up on my magic?" He asked while playing with Buffy's shimmering silver-blonde hair.
He was concerned about what would happen if he used magic in Buffy's world.
"You can tell them you are a wizard. Fate will plant some stuff in the Watchers archives for your cover story. So they won't give you any trouble. To keep your magic from being detected by others in Buffy's world, you will have to take my old Invisibility Cloak and the Resurrection Stone through a rebirth while here. This will merge both of them with your soul, just like you did with the Elder Wand. When you do, you will gain various abilities, and keeping your magic from being detected is one of them. For the other abilities, you will find out after the rebirth. Also, by doing so, you will forge a connection to me like Buffy has but different." Death replied before drinking the last of his Dr. Pepper.
Harry was curious about what other abilities he would gain when he went through a rebirth with the other two Deathly Hallows. But he trusted Death, so he would go along with it. He also looked forward to the surprise.
"What do you mean by a connection like mine but different?" Buffy asked while lovingly caressing her boyfriend's arm wrapped around her waist.
"Your connection to me is tied through physical power. Harry's would be magical. It would also be very advantageous in your world when dealing with demons, poltergeists, vengeful spirits, etc." Death replied while looking at the blonde girl.
"Would I have any magical-based Slayer-like duties in either of our worlds?" Harry asked before drinking the last of his Barq's root beer.
"I may contact you from time to time to ask you to resolve some issues. But you could easily refuse if you want without repercussions. An example would be destroying all of the Dementors in your world." Death replied, and then he conjured a can of Arnold Palmer Arizona Iced Tea and took a sip.
He sighed in satisfaction while looking at the can in his hand.
"You know, this is hands down the best iced tea in all of existence." Death told the teenage couple while indicating the can in his hand. "The Creator has banned me from drinking alcohol for 1,000 years, so I only drink soda and tea for now." He casually said while looking at Harry and Buffy. "Cause one tiny little apocalypse in a Twilight universe while drunk, and I get punished. Vampires aren't supposed to sparkle, dammit." He grumbled under his breath.
Buffy didn't want to think about vampires that sparkle because that was beyond horror-inducing, even by Sunnydale standards.
An image appeared in Harry's mind, and then he started laughing.
"What's so funny?" Buffy asked while looking at her boyfriend.
"I just imagined Sirius and Xander as sparkling vampires dancing to Disco Inferno while in authentic disco outfits." Harry replied while grinning.
The 16-year-old girl started giggling when that image appeared in her mind.
Death made a mental note to talk to Janus to keep Xander away from any and all Twilight costumes. He just hoped the God of Chaos and Change would listen.
Janus was a unique god in the Omniverse and didn't have to listen to Death or his siblings. He only had to listen to the Creator.
"Buffy, I'm going to take advantage of your soul bond with Harry to upgrade the Slayer package. You will also gain an extra ability, too." Death told his priestess.
"Change it how and what ability?" Buffy eagerly asked.
She grabbed a handful of popcorn to munch on.
"You and all Slayers after you will have the 20X multiplier, Wolverine-level healing factor, and your teleporting ability. They and you will also have the ability to conjure hickory stakes. This way, Slayers will live longer and be more effective." Death replied while smiling. "When the Slayer wants to retire, they can give up the abilities, and a new one will be called. However, you will always keep yours." He said to clarify a few things.
"Wow, that will come in handy." Buffy said while smiling.
She was happy that the Slayers after her wouldn't die as young as she and the others did.
"So, whose world do you want to go to first? With time travel involved, it doesn't matter." Death asked while looking at the teenage couple. "Also, after taking care of both of your worlds. You could stay in one of yours, or I can move you to another Universe." He commented as an afterthought.
"If we went to Harry's world first, would I keep his magic in my world?" Buffy asked before drinking the last of her Barq's root beer.
"No, you won't. Fate won't allow for a Slayer to have his type of magic. But after taking Glory out, you would be a different type of magic user." Death replied while looking at his priestess.
"What do you mean by Buffy being a different type of magic user?" Harry asked while looking at his many-times great-grandfather.
"Imagine a magic user as a type of fruit, and all of the various fruits are different types of magic users. They are similar and can do most of the things the others can. But in different ways." Death replied while looking at the green-eyed boy.
"That makes sense." Harry commented.
"Would I keep Harry's brand of magic if we went to his world second and then left it for a new universe?" Buffy asked while cuddling with her boyfriend.
"Yes, you would. But you wouldn't be anywhere near Harry's level of power and skill with it. You would also keep all of your other abilities as well." Death replied before sipping his beverage.
"When we go from one world to the other, will we be able to bring anything with us?" Harry asked while lovingly caressing the blonde girl's side.
He hoped there was because they could bring money, books, DVDs, and so many other things with them.
"Hmm, yeah, you can." Death replied after thinking about it for a moment. "Harry, I will create a link in your soul to a pocket dimension so you can store things in it. That will let you bring what's in it to the next world. Also, because it's linked to your soul and your soul bond with Buffy, she can access the pocket dimension too." He told the green-eyed wizard to further explain things.
"Wow, that will totally come in handy." Buffy eagerly said while smiling.
She was thinking of all the clothes and weapons she could store in the pocket dimension instead of having to carry them all around.
"So, whose world do you want to go to first?" Death asked while looking at the raven-haired Veela and the blue-eyed Slayer.
