He can feel her eyes on him.
Not that he blames her.
She's scared.
Scared that she'll never see him again if she takes her eyes off him for even a second.
Scared history will repeat itself. And in some ways so is he.
The only thing that seems to make her less scared is their whispered promise.
"Promise you'll come home to me?" She'll ask from the circle of his arms
"I promise that I'll always come home to you, Leesh." He'll promise with a soft kiss to her lips.
The truth is, that they're all a little scared.
