Until yesterday when he witnessed her being shoved to the ground harshly and on purpose.

Flashback:

He helped her up, checked her over any injuries, then proceeded to punch the guy in the face and told him that he'd be served a lawsuit from Lockhart/Gardner.

"You okay, Leesh?" He asks.

"Might have bruised my back." She answers.

He only leads her out of the courtroom.

She smiles at her sleeping protector who is in the chair beside her big bed.
