Dagur found out that his sister he didn't know existed is living in rome this soon brought the question to him " dad why would you tell me this now of all times" Oswald looked to him " because chances are you might run into your mother while traveling I'd like you to know you have more family out there I just ask this of you" dagur listened carefully " if you see your mother please tell her I miss her and try to meet your sister if you find them" dagur understood he really missed his mother and sister so he will do his best to find them since he's going with the riders it'll definitely be easier. "alright dad I'll do my best to find them who knows maybe we'll have a family reunion" Oswald looked gratefully at his son he knew when dagur his mind to something he gets it done, he should've been called dagur the focused instead of dagur the deranged but he preferred that title more since he said himself he's crazy. It was this point that the father and son duo decided it was time to go to bed dagur needed to work on flying with shattermaster if he's going with the riders.

It has been 2 days since the berserkers had returned to berserker island and the riders started on training dagur the moment they could fly again and to say it was a challenge was an understatement dagur and shattermester had been a match made in Valhalla but shattermaster kept accidentally bucking dagur off his back leading to dagur either landing on a sea stack which shattermaster would pick him up after wards or he would fall face first into the ocean where hiccup would grab him afterwards to say there would be needing lots of clothing changes was an understatement but the riders a good kick out of dagurs many attempts to fly

The third day astrid notice something as dagur was trying to steer shattermaster, dagur seemed to lean on a spine on shattermasters backs that is leading to the skrill bucking him off she soon brought this up to hiccup and he soon thought of a new saddle that should have a back support so dagur doesn't lean on the spine again.

Day four hiccup and astrid worked all day and night in the berserker forge to make the new saddle while the others continued to help dagur they brought up the spine problem with dagur so until the saddle was complete they would start teaching dagur about flying formations but were careful of how fast they went to avoid dagur being blown back. By the end of the day dagur was able to use an arrow and diamond formation with the other riders.

Day five hiccup and astrid had done the finishing touches of the saddle and had dagur try the saddle out and to everyones joy the back support had worked dagur didn't hit the spine he was flying smoothly… until shattermaster started to think it be funny to fly dagur a little to close to an over hang and dagur smacked his face against the rock again when they landed again they could hear shattermaster chuckling at dagurs misfortune they noticed as they were training with dagur that his dragon is a bit of a trickster seeing what he likes to put dagur through but he also pranks the other dragons as well giving them light static shocks earning glares from some the other dragons toothless on the other hand has mostly avoided these static shocks showing more and more that these two have known eachother before.

Day six dagur was smoothly flying at this point he was able to get shattermaster to limit the pranks when they were flying seeing he didn't want to keep smacking his face into rock formations so now he is basically taking time to bond with shattermaster more seeing they will be flying a lot through this trip the riders are also making sure they have all their possessions ready to strap on to their dragons.

The final day that the riders were staying on berserk they strapped everything onto their dragons and met Oswald at the docks. They saw he and three other berserkers were standing infront of 4 different baskets and the riders set down on the docks. Hiccup greeted Oswald first" morning Oswald I just wanted to thank you for letting us stay on berserk" Oswald waved it off " dear hiccup you will always be welcome on berserker island as long as im chief you will always have a place to call home just do me a favor and watch out for dagur for me" they hear a loud 'HEY' come from dagur they turn around to see he dropped a basket he was loading when he responded as astrid and fishlegs were chuckling at his misfortune. Oswald had soon returned to the conversation with hiccup " well son me and my provisioners had made it a point to make sure you will be fine for at least 2 weeks of your travels so we pack you all a variety of food that should last you at least those two weeks we also took the liberty to give small pouches of gold and silver to each of you for emergencies but I wouldn't be surprised if those twins decide to piss someone off by stealing from them" they soon hear a echoed 'HEY' and they see snotlout laughing at the twins being called out. hiccup looked to Oswald" thank you so much for this sir you really didn't have to go this out of your way for us" Oswald soon patted hiccups back as if he was his father " hiccup I'd never have any problem helping you like even if dagur didn't go with you and you were alone id like to help the best I could you gave dagur a friend when he didn't have many to begin with its safe to say I see you as my own child and for the love of thor call me Oswald no need for all this 'sir' nonsense" hiccup nodded as Oswald continued " I can guarantee that the bogs and meatheads are the same way as wellseeing camicazi and thuggory are as good of friends to you as well" astrid was watching the interaction and wondered what would it be like if berk didn't throw out the dragons so did fishlegs and soon realise they wouldn't have the drive to go explore the way they are now they wouldn't have gotten to know dagur the way hiccup knows him and who knows what they will run into out there but they both smiled knowing the group had each other's backs.

The riders had soon finished packing everything on to their dragons and dagur and hiccup had went to Oswald " well dad looks like this is good bye for now" Oswald soon hugged dagur with a tear in his eye "son you just enjoy the time you are out there and make sure you hello to your mother when you see her" dagur nodded and hiccup smiled to him and Oswald and soon he realized he was in a bone crushing hug by Oswald (seriously seems everyone is trying to snap him in half). They all soon got on their dragons and, taken off Oswald stayed to see them off until he could no longer see them then returned to his duties as chief.

The riders soon were flying over multiple islands very happy to be back in the air they loved berserk but the great beyond calls to them they all look to each other, and they all screamed "TO ROME" as their dragons raced off

Three days have passed since the riders had left Berserker Island and they since have been over dozens of islands but started to come across different ice formations they have been looking for a place to set down for the night. They came across a decently sized island and decided to set down there but unbeknownst to them they were being watched by a masked person. The group had set up camp and were able to set up a campfire soon hiccup had sat down next to the fire leaning against toothless who in turn started to doze off as the rest of the riders were starting to fall asleep. Not long after they touched down hiccup had gotten up from struggling to stay asleep so he decided he would go and take a little walk. The lone rider walked through the forest making sure he had his sword in case anything tried to jump out at him, but the masked person was in the distance staring while a certain dragon species was behind them. Hiccup soon found a waterfall and decided he would take a seat and admire nature's beauty. The moment he went to sit he was snatched up by a giant dragon that he could confirm that was way bigger than even hookfang.

Two hours later hiccup was being carried into an ice cave he was more confused than terrified the fact this dragon took him but he was worried about his friends more than how confused he was, but he wasn't able to dwell on that for long the dragon soon dropped him on the ground soon a group of dragons he's never seen before had surrounded him. While hiccup never wanted to fight a dragon, but he was close to pulling out his sword to defend himself, that was until a mystery person signaled for the dragons to back away soon after the dragons backed off and lit up the cave hiccup looked around but then the masked person cautiously walked to him like as if they were a wild animal. Hiccup was creeped out at this but he knew he couldn't do much when he was surrounded by a group of wild dragons and his own wasn't anywhere nearby. The person got close enough they were able to get a good look at hiccup and jumped back in shock hiccup was confused, then he heard a soft " hiccup" he looked at the person confused and said " do I know you" the person removed the mask revealing a woman definantly older than him probably the age of his dad the woman soon responded " no, you were only a babe" she soon looked into his eyes " but a mother never forgets" hiccup felt his world crumble right then and there " my mother?" she nodded confirming the statement.
