Natsu swung to flaming fist towards the werewolf, but the wolf's superior agility allowed it to dodge each and every punch Natsu threw, much to the dragon slayer's annoyance. Natsu then jumped to the side, allowing Elfman to come in with a brutal punch, but even the tag team effort was a failure against the wolf. "Dammit!" Natsu roared in anger. "What's it gonna take to land a hit on this guy!?"

"You aren't hitting me any time soon, so give it up…" The wolf replied.

"You wanna bet?!" Natsu's anger turned into a smirk at what he thought was a challenge.

"He's an idiot…" Gaia said while shaking her head, holding out a gem in front of her; the gem seemed to already be imbued with the powers of the Earth, but it seemed as though Gaia was searching for something else. "Just a little longer, according to the plan..."

Natsu puffed his cheeks out, his stomach also inflating. "Roar…"

"Ah…" Gaia's facial expression gained a smirk as Natsu prepared his signature move.

"Of the Fire Dragon!" Natsu bellowed as he threw his head forward, unleashing a funnel of flames in the wolf's direction.

"Excellent…" Gaia's smirk widened as the gem in her hands glowed brightly, and the flames diverted off in that direction; the gem absorbed the flames, now radiating a bright orange color. "Perfect…" With a nod, two magic circles appeared on Gaia's back as her dragon wings appeared, and she quickly flew off, but did so in a way that wouldn't attract too much attention to herself. "Come on, Shadowlore…we're done here…"

"What!?" Natsu's eyes widened at the sight of his diverted roar. The dragon slayer immediately ran into the direction where his roar went off to, but he was surprised to find nothing…

"Heh…well, this was fun, but I think it's about time I went back now…" The wolf said as he turned around, darting off.

"Hey wait, get back here!" Natsu shouted as he started to go after.

"Natsu, wait, what about the others?!" Happy shouted, catching Natsu's attention.

"Tch…You're right…" Natsu nodded.

"A real Man wouldn't run away from a fight anyway…" Elfman said as he returned back to normal.

Though Gaia thought she was in the clear, another dragon could smell her presence from literally across the city; however, Adam chose not to do anything at the moment.

"You know I could do without this…!" Luke shouted as he swayed his body away from an incoming mace, allowing the weapon to crash into the ground. Using the close range, Luke allowed flames and lightning to cover his fist, which he brought into the skull of the black skeleton, shattering it into pieces. "I got one!" Luke grinned…but seconds later, the skeletons slowly reconstructed itself. "Oh you've gotta be shitting me…"

"They don't stay down!?" Blues groaned, jumping back from a slice, finding himself, Tsami, Melanie, Evanee, Selene, and Luke somewhat cornered now.

"Everything breaks if you hit it enough times…" Selene replied.

"Yeah because your friend over there didn't just break one only for it to get up like nothing happened…" Blues replied while rolling his eyes.

"Shut up and keep fighting…" Evanee groaned, unsure if she was more annoyed by the complaining of those she was fighting with or the fact these skeletons weren't going down any time soon.

"Guess we're just gonna have to hit them harder!" Luke said as a smirk grew on his lips.

"Hit them as hard as you like…" Magnus said while shaking his head. "No matter what, they'll always get back up."

"Oi! I got an idea!" Blues nodded. "Anyone who can roar, stand next to me! Unison roar, let's go!"

"I like your thinkin'!" Luke smirked as he, Selene, Evanee, and Melanie stood next to Blues, their cheeks puffing out.

"On my mark…one…two…three!" Blues shouted, and just like that, the four mages roared, unleashing a unison roar; this roar consisted of dense water coated with electricity with diamonds sparkling around it, boosted by the power of the earth, all of which slamming into the army of warriors, creating a large cloud of smoke.

"Did you get them…?" Tsami asked while looking into the smoke.

"Damn right we did…" Blues smirked…though his smirk quickly faded when he saw that the warriors were just fine. "Oh…shit…"

"That's not good…" Melanie said as she blinked a few times.

"When you've gathered information on how every fighter fights, their strengths, their weakness…it becomes quite easy to defeat them…no matter how many…no matter if they band together…" Yakuza mumbled as he watched the four females deal with the warriors in the hotel. "All according to Karma's plan..."

"Roar…" Heather started as she puffed her cheeks out, figuring her poison would be strong enough to corrode the skeletons.

"Ah, here we go…!" Yakuza held out a gemstone, watching as it reacted to the dragon slayer.

"Of the Poison Dragon!" Heather shouted, unleashing a wave of poison to the opponents, but before it reached, the roar diverted off behind her. "What the!?"

"Got it…" Yakuza muttered, the gem shining a bright magenta color as he placed it in his pocket, fleeing the scene before anyone could see, and the skeletons continued their assault however.

"They have some nerve!" Maggie groaned as she extended her arm into a lava whip, wrapping it around the arm of a skeleton, expecting it to melt away, but to her surprise, her lava wasn't working. "They really have some bloody nerve, don't they..?" She spoke in an agitated tone.

"Sora doesn't like these things…!" Sora said as she brought her shadow forward, turning it into a puppet with razor sharp claws.

"I don't think there's any getting rid of these things…" Ruika said as she narrowed her eyes. "These things are made from magic, but not any kind of magic I've seen, and that's saying something…"

"Ah…I hope you ladies are enjoying your guests?" Magnus said via metal communication.

"The fucker's in my head…!" Kiora sneered. "Get out."

"Oh, no, no, no…" Magnus started. "You must be a part of this as well…it wouldn't be as fun…Now, ladies…I know you've been watching, but I bet you'd never guess who's behind this, huh?"

"Your skeleton friend?" Diana asked while crossing her arms.

"Ah…good, that was your first guest…I knew it…" Magnus said, his voice making it clear there was a smirk on his face.

"What the fuck do you want?" Kiora asked, her patience already gone.

"He wants us to guess whose work this is…" Maggie said as she drew her arm back, pointing to the now standby skeletons.

"Oh, I was gonna tell you, then let you off the hook…" Magnus started.

"Off the hook? Who the hell are you to think you're so high and mighty, huh?!" Kiora responded.

"Heheh…Our Master is quite the mage, is he not?" Magnus said before the connection cut off.

"The master…?" Ruika blinked a few times. "No way…I don't believe a shriveled up old man can do something like this. At least Fairy Tail's master can walk on his own."

"He might be screwing with us…" Diana huffed. "I'm too old for this shit…"

.

.

"Seriously, what the hell is all this!?" Daryan was out of the loop. He, Kagura, Milliana, Risley, and Beth were fighting off some of the skeletons to keep some civilians safe. There were a lot of people in a panic, but luckily, they had protection.

"You really don't know what this is?" Kagura lifted a brow.

"No!" Daryan said earnestly. He could see Hiruka in the sky above as well, trying to get his attention. But because of this, he wasn't paying attention to the skeletons that were attempting to attack him from behind.

"Daryan!" Hiruka shouted from above.

"Ugh." Kagura couldn't let this happen. She was, unfortunately, a good person in this moment. So right before they attacked Daryan, she sped forward, slicing through them with ease. "Pay attention."

"Huh!?" Daryan turned, only to see that Kagura saved his skin. "You..."

"You better be thankful!" Risley and Beth shouted at the same time.

"I...uh..." Well, if Daryan didn't feel anything for Kagura before, he certainly did now. Strong, beautiful, and she just saved his skin? "Thank you...Kagura-chan."

"Do NOT call me that." Kagura narrowed her eyes. That wasn't happening and she wouldn't allow it.

"We've got more coming!" Milliana had to interrupt the moment, because they weren't done fighting yet.

.

"Master…" Magnus commented Karma via mindlink as well.

"Ah…Magnus…" Karma thought to himself, keeping the conversation rather private as he also discussed a way on how to deal with these skeletons with the other guild masters.

"Everything is set," Magnus reported. "Gaia's gotten her fire, Yakuza has the poison…Shadowlore has exhausted the members of Fairy Tail, and everyone has had their fill of fighting."

"So, we can call everything off then?" Karma asked.

"Pretty much…everyone's exhausted, and would die if this continued." Magnus replied.

"We've done our job then…" Karma nodded to himself, and a magic circle appeared over almost all the skeletons, erasing them from the area. "Done…"

"One more thing..." Magnus continued. "...We are going to lose tomorrow's event. Fairy Tail has an ace up their sleeve that we cannot contend with."

"Hahaha..." Karma shook his head. "Do not worry about that, Magnus. I will take care of everything."

.

.

Little Queen and Heartless were dealing with their fair share of skeletons. Since they were attacking things indiscriminately, it made sense these two were caught in the conflict as well. "What is happening here..." Heartless questioned.

"Where did these come from? Did the bone man do it?" Little Queen asked.

Heartless shook her head in response. "No. These skeletons are composed of a different magical signature. The foul play within this tournament continues..."

.

.

Ultear held her time ark out, a magic circle appearing in the shape of a clock in front of a small group of skeletons, erasing them from existence, since they weren't alive, her magic worked on them. After that, Ultear took a few breaths. "Ugh…"

"What was that all about…?" Jellal asked as he took a seat, almost groaning.

"There were so many of them." Meredy needed to take a seat as well. "These games have been so..."

"Yeah." Jellel knew what Meredy was going to say, and he agreed with her...

"I don't know…but whoever did that has amazing magical power…" Ultear replied. "I hope the other mages out there are okay…"

"Welcome, everyone to day FOUR of the Grand Magic Games-kabo!" Mato exclaimed, causing the crowd to roar excitedly. "Last time, Cosmic Star won the Target Break event with ease, but in the end, White Eclipse was able to get back into first place!"

"Where we belong, too…" Reve said with a nod.

"You all look tired…" Aira said while yawning.

"Fucking skeleton attack last night…" Luke groaned. "I would say I slept like a rock, but I'm more exhausted than last night…"

"They seem fine…" Cygnus said while rolling his eyes.

"Today, we don't actually have a guest commentator, Kabo…." Mato looked away awkwardly before starting to announce the event. "Anyway, it's time for the fourth and final event! For this event, there will need to be TWO people from each team."

"Two people?" Mavis was oddly surprised by this.

"This is new…" Evanee said while crossing her arms.

"Lucy and I can do it," Cana said while nodded, looking towards Lucy after.

"Right!" Lucy gave a confident nod.

"Good luck, you two!" Mavis said while waving to the two females, a larger than usual smile on her face.

"She's hiding something…" Cynthia said while nodding, crossing her arms.

"How's your arm?" Lisanna asked. "I knew the treatment wasn't exactly perfect due to the event last night…but at least it's out of the cast…"

"Its fine," Cynthia replied. "It still hurts every so often, but I think it'll be fine. I think it's because the bone has yet to really recover fully, but if I don't move it too much, I'll be fine."

Lucy and Cana, Yukino and Rufus, Arana and Beth, Alexander and Taranis, Lyon and Yuka, Daryan and Magnus, Takeru and Kuro, and finally Bacchus and Yeager stepped forward, around Mato. "Excellent-kabo!" Mato grinned at the sight, and then clapped his hands, causing several platforms to appear, lifting the mages into the sky. After that, several more platforms appeared around the mages, which were to be used in the upcoming event. "This is the Sky BATTLE!"

"I don't…do…movement…" Daryan said as he covered his mouth, suffering from the motion sickness nearly all dragon slayers have as the platforms swayed in the air. "Why did I agree to this…!?"

"Don't worry…" Magnus said.

"The rules of this event are simple! The last team or person from that team standing wins the event-kabo!" Mato exclaimed. "That is all, so begin!"

"I guess I can unveil my secret weapon early…" Cana said with a smirk, immediately catching the attention of the mages around her; not even Fairy Tail knew what Cana was talking about.

"It appears Cana of Fairy Tail is going to try something…" Chapati said while narrowing his eyes.

"I wonder what it is…" Yajima said while focusing his gaze on Cana.

Cana ripped off her jacket, revealing her Fairy Glitter tattoo on her arm, a large grin on her face. "I hate to disappoint you all, but Fairy Tail's taking home the victory!"

Makarov, and the rest of Fairy Tail immediately turned their gaze to Mavis, who giggled. "Maybe I shouldn't give her that spell so much…but if it's for Fairy Tail's sake, I'm sure she can put it to good use…heheh…"

"W-What is that?!" Kuro asked as his eyes widened.

"Fairy Glitter…" Calium mumbled to himself. "I didn't think Makarov would let his brat use such a spell into the hands of a mage who isn't even S class…"

"It wasn't Makarov," Sidney replied to Calium. "It was Mavis."

"Oh…she's going to nuke us…" Magnus said with an indifferent expression.

"SHE'S GONNA WHAT?!" Daryan groaned out.

"Stop her!" Yuka shouted.

"Lucy, cover for me while I get it ready!" Cana said as the mark on her arm started to glow.

"On it!" Lucy nodded, reaching out as she pulled two keys. "I know just who to use!" Lucy went to pull out Aries…but she remembered Aries' key was stolen, so she quickly had think of something else. "Gate of the Archer, I open thee! Sagittarius!" Lucy's key glowed for a few seconds, and the cosplaying spirit appeared on the platform next to Lucy. "Keep them at bay!"

"As you wish, moshi-moshi!" Sagittarius nodded, immediately using his skills to unleash a flurry of bow and arrows towards the opponents, keeping them at bay just as Lucy wanted.

"Dammit…!" Lyon growled slightly, but then got an idea. "Ice Make: Eagle!" A cyan magic seal appeared before Lyon, which unleashing multiple ice eagles in Cana's direction, but the attack was quickly cut off by Sagittarius' arrows. "Gah…!"

"Look at the fools dance…" Magnus said as he took a seat on his platform. "Just wait, Daryan…"

"I don't like where this is going…" Alexander said as a bubble appeared behind him. "Get in."

"What!?" Taranis looked towards Alexander with a confused expression. "I'm not running!"

"We're not running," Alexander replied. "Just go with it."

"And now we're ready!" Cana shouted as a grin on her face as the Fairy Glitter Tattoo shone brightly on her arm.

"Oh! It looks like Cana is about to unleash a powerful spell!" Chapati shouted, finally realizing what was happening.

"FAIRY…." Cana jumped in the air, pointing her arm forward as the mark shined even bright. "GLITTER!" After Cana exclaimed this, a bright light engulfed the Sky Battle field, shaking the area as a result. Before the light even faded, Lyon and Yuka hit the ground, followed by Yukino and Rufus, then Beth and Arana, and lastly Bacchus and Yeager fell, in that order. The light eventually cleared, and only Lucy and Cana were seen standing.

"No way! Fairy Glitter seems to have wiped out everyone!" Chapati said with a voice of amazement.

"Not so fast…" Alexander said as he and Taranis popped out of a bubble, appearing on two separate platforms.

"You Fairies didn't think it would be that easy, did you?" Takeru asked as he and Kuro appeared on separate platforms, both rising from Takeru's shadow.

"Honestly, that was quite a pathetic move, if you ask me…" Magnus said as he and Daryan just sat in the same place they were.

"…Okay, I can understand how those four survived…but how the hell did you two survive?!" Cana said while gritting her teeth.

"Secret," Magnus said with a smirk before both he and Daryan stood up. The reason? Karma himself cast a barrier around Magnus and Daryan at the moment of Fairy Glitter's activation. It withstood the powerful attack to keep Cosmic Star in the game, where they otherwise would've suffered an instant defeat like everyone else. "Fairy Tail vs. White Eclipse vs. Cosmic Star vs. Twilight Zone…how fitting…this event is more crucial than you realize…and Cosmic Star will rise to the top."

"So…" Daryan smirked, his composure completely restored. "En garde!"
