"Ah!" Lucy shot up, eyes wide. She looked around, trying to get a visual of her surroundings. "W-Where…" She was in bed; not just any bed, but a bed within the Heartfilia manner; all her wounds were gone, and she still had her keys on the nightstand nearby. "W-Wait…that's impossible…I'm…here?"
"Oh, I see you're finally awake, Lucy-nee," An all too familiar voice rang in Lucy's ears; when she turned to see who it was calling out to her, her eyes widened. It was none other than her 'younger sister' Michelle Lobster.
'M-Michelle…!?" Surely, she had to be dreaming now. There was no way, and Lucy refused to believe this was all real right away. "No…that's not right. What about Levy, Tia, Jack, and Happy…the demons we were fighting in the capital…Zeref…"
Hearing Lucy spout nonsense only made Michelle laugh. "Oh…you sound like you had quite the dream…" There was then the most genuine smile Michelle could muster, she looked like she was about to cry once again just from seeing Lucy. "I missed you."
"Ah…" Lucy held her head, feeling a strong headache coming on. Clearly something was wrong here. A little investigation was warranted; perhaps she could dig up some clues about where she really was. "I guess I conked out pretty hard last night then…what am I doing back here?"
"You don't remember?" Michelle tilted her head before letting out a soft giggle. "Well…Actually, wait a minute, I almost forgot! They want to see you!"
"They…?" Lucy tilted her head, having little to no idea what Michelle was talking about. This entire situation was just so bizarre to her.
"Get dressed, I'll wait outside!" Michelle nodded and walked out of Lucy's room, closing the door behind her.
"This is all too strange…" Lucy groaned silently, sitting up and standing out of bed to change out of her pajamas. "Where is everyone…are they okay…?" After changing, she stepped out the door to meet Michelle. "Sorry to keep you waiting…"
"No, it's fine!" Michelle gave a cheerful nod before taking Lucy's hand, rushing down the large corridor of the mansion. All the while, Lucy looked around, noticing the maids and butlers around. It was like nothing changed, and it was starting to freak her out a little bit. Soon, the arrived in the kitchen, where Michelle called out to gain attention. "Look who's awake!"
"Hm…?" Jude, Lucy's father turned from the corner, giving a halfhearted smile. "Oh, good morning."
"….!" Lucy's expression shifted from confused to a mix of horror and joy. "Fat…" No, this couldn't be true. Her father was dead…her mother was dead, Michelle couldn't be alive like this either. Nothing was making sense to her anymore.
"What? Haven't seen me in so long you've forgotten what I look like?" Jude questioned with a slight chuckle. He was acting…happy. Such an emotion was rare for Lucy to see, especially after her mother died.
"Oh, yeah…" Michelle remembered something. "You came to visit us after finishing that job with Fairy Tail, remember?"
"Wait…huh…?" Lucy was more lost than ever. But her logical train of thought slowly started to become a little fuzzy. She forgot why this all couldn't be right and started to enjoy the idea just a little bit. "So…they're okay…that's good to hear…"
"She had a little nightmare, I guess…" Michelle said with a small smile to Jude.
"You needn't worry about anything, my dear…" Jude said as he began to poor himself a cup of coffee. "You're at home now; a safe place where nothing can hurt you, so relax."
That was…oddly reassuring to hear her father say. "Thanks…" Lucy nodded slowly, rubbing her arm bashfully. Any negative thoughts she had were slowly fading away, not by her choice. Almost as if something else was pulling them away… "A safe place…" As if it wasn't enough already, there was one more thing that made things even more unbelievable to the spirit mage: Layla walked into the kitchen with a warm smile on her face. Lucy's eyes immediately began to water, debating if this was real or not. "M-Mo…."
"…!" Layla's gaze shifted to Lucy, a slight look of legitimate surprise crossing her expression before it softened to the warm smile once again. "G-Good morning, Lucy…it's wonderful to see you again…"
"It can't be her…can it…?" Lucy thought. There was a similar air about Layla that was around Michelle. For some reason, her father was lacking this mysterious air. Though she didn't get the chance to think of it for much longer; the thoughts fuzzed out and she focused instead on how happy she was in the situation.
"Would you like something to eat?" Layla questioned with a motherly tone.
"Oh, well…" Lucy began. "Not right now…I'm not hungry."
"Then you can show me those spirits of yours again!" Michelle chirped.
"Again…?" Lucy mumbled, though before she had the chance to question anything she was dragged outside of the manner to the backyard. Whatever was going on to her, she didn't question it. She was…happy.

.
"Spread!" Tia raised her scepter into the air, creating a magic seal under Erebus' feet. This seal then unleashed a sudden eruption of water that spread out in attempt to do some damage, but Erebus slipped away at the last second, causing Tia to grit her teeth in annoyance. "Annoying little…"
"Now, now…" Erebus said tauntingly, appearing on Tia's side, delivering a swift kick infused with Iron Dragon slayer magic to her sternum. The strike was strong enough to knock Tia on her back.
"H-Hey…! That's Gajeel's!" Levy shouted accusingly.
"Oh, did I forget to mention…" Erebus began with a slight chuckle. "I can use the abilities of those I've captured within the abyss of sweet dreams. Like this…" He held his arm out, allowing it to change into Elfman's Beast Arm: Iron Bull. What timing on his end, as Hikaru attempted at a frozen axe kick to the side of his head, but he blocked the block with the arm and grinned. "You humans have interesting dreams…"
"…" Hikaru remained silent before flipping backwards, cheeks puffing out while a cold aura surrounded her body. "Frozen Dragon's Roar…!" And from her mouth, a torrent of ice shards shot out, aiming to consume Erebus.
"Try again some other time…" Erebus quickly leapt to the side, avoiding the roar with ease. He closed the distance between himself and Hikaru within a second, sending a snap kick to her head, knocking her away with ease. His power was growing exponentially by the second and it was clear they were getting in deep trouble. Arcadios and Tristan had already been taken care of in one fell swoop, both of them trying to protect Hisui.
"Will Lucy wake up anytime soon…!? We could use her…!" Happy said while flailing his arms about.
"As long as she's in that dark sphere we're not going to have an easy time waking her up…" Levy said with a soft grunt. She was attacking the sphere with everything she had left, but nothing was happening.
"I told you, breaking my curse is near impossible. What human wants to ruin their own sweet dream?" Erebrus chuckled.
"I'm getting real sick of your attitude!" Jack exclaimed while rearing his hand back, creating a Wicked Flame in his hand. "Take this and burn!" He hurled said flame towards Erebus, where it would explode with a purple tint upon contact. When the smoke cleared, Erebus was dusting himself off, though his clothing and skin had burn marks. "Tch…"
"What a tenacious child…" Erebus scoffed. "Your dreams probably aren't worth delving into…" Before he could say anything else, Hisui took charge and attempted to combat the demon with the sword Tristan dropped. Surprisingly, she was somewhat adept at handling a sword. Though she couldn't land a single hit.
"Ha…! Ha…! Stop moving…!" Hisui grunted while swinging the sword.
"Who taught her how to fight with a sword…!?" Arcadios grunted in pain, though he was just as shocked as the onlookers.
"Someone had to…" Tristan said with a slight cough, though he was glad to see the private lessons they had weren't going to waste.
"It doesn't matter in the end what you can throw at me…because I'm just going to keep growing stronger by feeding off your friend's dreams." Erebus shrugged. "The longer you take the less of a chance you have. That's how it works."
"I really hate this guy…" Tia grunted while picking herself up.
"We have to save Lucy and the others…" Hisui said while tightening her hold on the hilt. She was nervous to be holding a weapon, but she didn't want to feel useless by being dead weight. She wanted to try and help, and this was the only way she knew how. "Hang on, Lucy…everyone…we can save you…we will save you!"
.
.
"Come on; show me those spirits of yours again!" Michelle beamed while pushing Lucy into the center of the garden near the fountain. "What's the name of that water one again…?"
"Huh…? Oh…!" Lucy wasn't entirely sure how this was going to work out as always, but she decided to give it a shot anyway. What's the worst that could happen…? Well, she answered that question on her own rather quickly. Still, she dug in her pouch for her keys and pulled out Aquarius' key. "Gate of the Water Bearer, I open thee! Aquarius!" She stuck the key in the fountain, a bell chime sound emitting before the spirit rose from the water, giving Lucy the usual irritated look.
"The hell do you want now?!" Aquarius sneered at Lucy before noticing a few out of place things. First, Michelle and second the fact they were at Heartfilia manner. As it turned out, even though Lucy was in a dream, this extended to her Spirits as well. Aquarius, however, was not so accepting of things like Lucy. "Wait a second…the hell is going on here…?"
"Eee, it's really you!" Michelle clapped her hands and grinned.
"…" Aquarius leaned in to Lucy, whispering quietly. "Ay, something's not right here…" Noticing that Lucy wasn't agreeing right away made her worry a bit. "Brat!"
"H-huh…? Oh…!" Lucy snapped out of her little trance and smiled. "Don't you see what's going on Aquarius? We're home now!" From the window inside, Layla was quietly watching the interaction, a strange focused look on her face.
"Home…?" Aquarius questioned. "What does that mean…? This doesn't look like Fairy Tail to me…though if that's the case…"
"Fairy Tail is my home too!" Lucy said with a bright smile, showing off her Fairy Tail mark as per usual. "And with mom and dad back and happy, I can't say things have ever been better!" The smile on Lucy's face actually worried Aquarius. It was as if Lucy had no idea what she was saying and what these events actually meant.
"You can't be serious…" Aquarius wasn't sure what was going on, but she knew one thing was for certain. She had to snap Lucy out of it the only way she knew how. She drew her hand back and smacked Lucy harshly across the face, raising her voice shortly after. "Snap out of it! Don't you realize what's going on!? Don't you remember that you joined that place because of how not at home you felt? These two events can't exist at the same time; I thought you were smart…"
"O-Ow…" Lucy rubbed her cheek. "What was that for…?"
"…" Michelle gasped at the slap, immediately making her way to Lucy's side. "Are you alright!?"
"Michelle…you're not…Michelle, are you…?" Lucy said while taking a step back, Aquarius looking rather protective for once.
"No…I am…" Michelle nodded slowly. "Well…rather somewhat…I'm the part of her soul that couldn't be put to rest…"
"Wha…" Lucy questioned that bit for a moment before it all hit her. "W-Wait…! I was fighting some demon with the others and then…!"
"You were put to sleep…" Michelle replied. "The only way to break this happy dream is to…destroy the main cause of such happiness. Then you can go back and rescue your friends."
"This is too much…" Lucy gripped her head and groaned. She then stared at Michelle before shaking her head. "No…it's not you…and it can't be my father. He didn't even seem real…"
Aquarius felt someone staring at her. She side eyed the window, though she was caught and Layla quickly left the hallway and went elsewhere. "…."
"Wait…" Lucy had an idea, though she had a bad gut feeling about it. "Mom…she…she seemed real enough. Too real…"
"Should we go visit her…?" Aquarius asked, though she had a bad feeling about how this could end as well.
"Mhm…" Lucy then pulled out two more keys, which caused Aqaurius' eyes to widen.
"Three gates? Are you sure you can handle that?" Aquarius questioned with slight concern.
"If it's a dream…I should be able to do whatever I want, right?" Lucy asked. And by that logic, she was correct. "Gate of the Scorpion, Gate of the goat, I open thee! Scorpio! Capricorn!" She summoned the two zodiac spirits, both of them looking as confused as Aquarius was when she arrived.
"…Good luck, Lucy…" Michelle said with a smile.
"You don't want me to stay…?" Lucy seemed confused. "But I thought…"
"I know you have more important things to do," Michelle responded, her eyes beginning to water once again like the crybaby she was. "But…I'm happy that I got to see you one last time, sister…"
"…Mmm…" Lucy nodded slowly, her eyes beginning to water. She fought back the tears and hugged her younger sister back. "I'm happy too…" They held the hug for a few moments before pulling back. Lucy turned to her spirits and nodded. "Let's go…"
.
Lucy and her spirits approached the door to Layla's room. Lucy gently knocked on the door, waiting for a response. "Come in," Layla said, though it sounded as like she was a little preoccupied at the moment. Lucy opened the door and Layla turned, trying to act causal about the situation. "Oh, hello Lucy."
"….M-Mom…" Lucy choked out. Her expression and tone gave it all away. "Is that really you…?"
"….Oh Lucy…" Layla broke for just a moment, wrapping her arms around her daughter for a tight embrace. "I was hoping you'd never have to see me like this…" After pulling back slightly, she glanced at the three spirits formally under her ownership. "I see you've found them…and they look extremely happy…"
"What an honor it is to see you again, Layla-sama…" Capricorn bowed, trying to act nonchalant but really he was in his feels too.
"We are! Happy to see you too!" Scorpio exclaimed.
Layla nodded, taking a few steps away from Lucy and nodded at Aquarius. "Thank you…" She then turned back to Lucy and sighed. "What you see now is the real me, Lucy…but I shouldn't be here…I shouldn't be talking to you like this."
"Why not!?" Lucy shouted almost immediately.
"My soul was stolen from the afterlife…" Layla explained. "I can't rest in peace…and I've been put in this dream world solely to keep you from escaping."
"What's that mean….?" Lucy gulped silently. She knew, but she didn't want to think about it.
"You can only escape this dream if you destroy the cause of the dream…" Layla recited the words. "And I'm the cause of your sweet dream, Lucy…"
"N-No…! Stop!" Lucy didn't want to hear anymore. Not from her own departed mother, not like this. "I can't! I can't!"
"Lucy…" Layla bit her lower lip, letting out a heavy sigh. "You can't let things end like this…you have things you need to protect, don't you…?" She then took another step back and threw something down. A CLANG sword emitted through the room as Layla threw down a sword. At the sight of this, everyone began to tear up, especially the spirits.
"I can't take you away…! I can't! You don't understand!" Lucy protested against the very thought as much as she could. She absolutely refused. "I can't kill you…!"
"You're an idiot…" Aquarius muttered, wiping away the tears that threatened to fall. "She said it herself…she doesn't belong here. If you don't get out of here, you know what happens to everyone…!?"
"You must think of the others, Lucy-sama…" Capricorn added.
"I…" Lucy paused. She stared at the weapon on the ground before slowly picking it up. It wasn't a heavy sword, but it took all her weight just to lift it off the ground. She was shaking, the tears welling up within her eyes.
"You have things you need to protect, don't you…?" Layla asked while walking past Lucy, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "You know…there are worse things in the world than getting dragged down by your mother…" Then, she started humming. The tune immediately caught Lucy's attention and she turned around, eyes widening in horror. It was the tune she hummed to Tia to comfort her when Ace died, which was the tune her mother often hummed to her when she was a child.
"…GAH…!" Lucy steeled herself for just that brief second, grip on the blade tightening. With all the willpower she could muster, she pierced Layla through the chest. She wasn't sure what would've been worse; blood or no blood on the blade. She was right next to her mother's face while screaming in sheer agony from the action, the tears quickly beginning to fall.
"Heh…" Layla let out a soft chuckle. "Thank you…for letting me finally rest in peace…" Layla weakly reached up and tapped Lucy's forehead, a golden light briefly flashing. "Lucy…you've grown into such a beautiful and strong woman…now go…and protect your new family. I'll always love you…" Lucy's screaming only increased at her mother's parting words. The space around slowly began to distort and crack as reality began to set back in.
.
.
"H-Hey, what's going on…!?" Erebus questioned as the sphere around Lucy began to crack, eventually shattering. The shatter caused him to stagger back, taking some damage as a result. "Gah?!"
Lucy stood with her head hung low, a shadow casted over her eyes, which were still letting out tears. "…" She held out a golden key, silently exclaiming for Taurus to be summoned, which he did with a mighty roar.
"Lu-chan…! Are you alright…!?" Levy asked.
"She doesn't look happy…" Happy pointed out.
"The hell happened in there…" Tia questioned while holding her arm.
"How did you escape…!? You didn't actually…" Erebus said with a surprised expression. "No human would have the gall to…"
"Shut the hell up!" Lucy exclaimed a quick golden light surrounded her person. In the next second, she appeared with Star Dress: Taurus. Before Erebus could react, Lucy's fist met his stomach for a crushing blow, knocking the wind out of him. "How dare you talk about having the gall to do anything when you put someone through something like that!? I'll make you pay for what you're putting everyone through, you monster!" She was pissed. No, she was livid. Each word came with a brutal physical strike all with Taurus' borrowed power; the final blow was a strike that launched Erebus across the throne room.
"Whoa…!" Jack said with widened eyes. "When the hell did she get that kinda power!?"
"This is new…" Hikaru looked on with interest, wanting to see how Lucy could handle this, and if she would be able to.
"Gah!" Erebus unleashed two spheres of dark curse power towards Lucy that exploded on impact. When the smoke cleared, Lucy was heavily damaged and probably in a danger zone, but she was still standing. "W-What the hell!?"
"No pain…can ever match what you made me do…" Lucy spoke with an intensifying glare. Suddenly, the room began to darken, and planets started form around Erebus. Lucy began chanting for her arguably most powerful spell.
"Lucy, wait…!" Tia shouted. "In your condition you might…!" It was too late; Lucy already made the decision.
"Urano Metria!" The spirit mage exclaimed at the top of her lungs. The planets exploded around Erebus, the light so powerful that it ended up disintegrating the demon of nightmares into nothing. His scream faded out slowly, and that was the last thing of him. After which, Taurus returned to the spirit world. "Avenged you…mom…" Lucy muttered before beginning to collapse right where a broken section of the floor was. Luckily, Tia and Levy caught her before she fell completely. Shortly after she was caught, Lucy began crying all over again…
.
.
"Fire Dragon's…" Natsu started while lunging towards Zeref, two spheres of flames in his hands. "Brilliant Flame!" He threw his hands together, the blaze growing three times its size and exploded on the Black Wizard, who only slid back a few feet.
Jellal pointed his palm forward, unleashing a powerful beam of Heavenly Body magic towards Zeref, which was easily evaded. "Tch…!"
"Is that all you've got?" Zeref asked with genuine curiosity. "If so, then your time may as well be up already…"
"I don't think so…" Jellal responded while crouching down, pointing two index fingers down to the ground while raising his other hand up. "I've yet to show you TRUE Heavenly Body Magic, Zeref…a spell that I'm certain will bring even you down to your knees…"
"What is he doing…?" Strong said while looking around. "I don't see anything…"
"He better not be throwing me around again…" Diamond muttered spitefully.
"…." A grin crossed Natsu's face. "…Damn! Happy's not here! Oh well…!" Magic seals appeared on the soles of Natsu's sandals, unleashing high powered flames that pushed him into the air, and above the clouds.
"And where the hell is he going!?" Diamond exclaimed.
"Oh…?" Zeref tilted his head, looking up at the sky. He noticed the clouds gathered in a spiral formation, the middle of it all looking rather large.
"True Heavenly Body Magic: SEMA!" Jellal exclaimed at the top of his lungs. There was silence for a moment, but then a loud laugh echoed from above, catching everyone's attention.
"GYAHAHAHAHA!" Natsu laughed as the giant meteor began to fall from the heavens. Why? Because he was right behind it, arms pushing it downward, accelerating towards the ground at an alarming rate.
"What the hell is that!? Is that a meteor!?" Elfman groggily exclaimed.
"Don't tell me he actually used it…" Ultear spoke with her jaw hanging open.
"Is that Natsu…?" Lisanna said while narrowing her eyes to the little figure behind the meteor.
"Take THIS!" Natsu lit hit arms up in flames, creating a flaming spiral that surrounded the meteor, giving it even more power. And Zeref was the only target, while Ex Dealer made sure to stay out of the blast radius. With no time to dodge, Zeref had no choice to take the Sema head on, a large explosion occurring and blowing out whatever remains of the city were in that particular area. Zeref was unable to stand his ground and was blown back by the powerful impact, but Natsu didn't even start yet. "Now you're going to taste some REAL dragon slayer magic! Igneel, lend me your strength!" Flames and lightning began to surround Natsu's body as he spun around in a counterclockwise rotation, practically coated in a sea of flames and lightning. "Dragon Slayer Secret Art! Crimson Lotus: Exploding Lightning Blade!" Natsu threw his arms forward, unleashing the deadly force of nature's greatest weapons upon the unprepared Zeref. He let out a grunt of pain as he was consumed by the powerful attack, falling on his back after, motionless. Natsu landed on his feet and began panting heavily, but there was a victorious smirk on his face. "Heh…That's what…you get…for messing with us…"
"No way…did they do it…?" Heartless tensed as she stared at Zeref. There was a tense silence as everyone stared at the unmoving Black Wizard.
"I must admit…" Zeref said as he started standing up, letting out a deep exhale. His body looked extremely worse for wear, but just as every instance before, his immortality just shooed his injuries away. Within a few seconds, the damage they dealt to him didn't exist. "That hurt."
"Bastard's STILL standing!?" Natsu growled.
"Okay, seriously, does nothing kill this guy!?" Strong gasped.
"If there was something that could, I would've found it by now." Zeref responded to Strong with a simple smile.
"This is a more difficult encounter than I could've possibly imagined..." Jellal said with narrowed eyes. The Black Wizard was a more formidable foe than he expected. How could they defeat him...
Zeref let out a small, disappointed sigh. He encountered Natsu, but the dragon slayer's power wasn't anywhere close to what he was expecting. I can come to the assessment that you're not ready to take me down…it's a shame, really. I would've loved to keep this little dance going…but I'm afraid you're out of time…" Zeref simply stated before turning around, and beginning to walk off.
"The hell do you mean we're out of time!?" Natsu shouted angrily, beginning to give chance.
"Don't you sense it? He's coming. It's too late." These were Zeref's parting words.
"Get back here you…!" Natsu would've finished, but a familiar feeling caused him to drop to a knee. "…! U-Ugn…"
"Natsu! Are you alright…!?"
.
.
"Hgn…Agh…what is this feeling…!?" Waiston said while clasping his hands over his ears, letting out a groan of agony.
"I-I don't know…but it hurts…" Selene admitted.
"D-Damn it…I'm freezing up and I don't even know why…" Takeru groaned while writhing in agony.
"W-What's going on…" Heather winced, trying to keep her cool, but she was unable to.
"This feelin…" Gajeel let out a low, feral growl. It was his only reaction aside from giving into the pain.
"A-Agh…my chest…it's tightening up…what's happening…?" Leon mumbled to himself, trying to fight through the pain and stand.
.
.
"Ngh…!" Blues dropped to a knee, holding his chest as his heart began to beat erratically.
"Blues…!" Kuro leaned down to check on him.
"Blues! Are you alright…!?" Melanie rushed in from around the corner, but she didn't last long before collapsing herself, panting heavily as the same sense of dread started to overcome her. "Ah…!"
.
.
"Ngh…" Laxus grunted, placing a hand on his chest. He felt paralyzed and he didn't know by what.
"Laxus, are you alright!?" Freed asked immediately.
"No…I'm not…" Laxus replied with slow grunts.
.
.
Sting and Rogue couldn't even muster words. Their hearts were thumping too harshly against their chests to get anything out. "Sting-kun! Rogue!" Lector was the first to check on them. "Are you two okay! Come on, say something, please!"
"It'll be okay…just keep fighting through it, you two…" Yukino bent down to give the twin dragons positive encouragement.
.
.
Stepping out of the palace immediately caused Hikaru to stop moving. She froze for just a moment before dropping to a knee, eyes wide with an expression she'd never had on her face before. Her eyes widened and she broke into a cold sweat. "…!"
"Hikaru-san…" Tristan limped over to her, crouching down while placing a hand on her back. "Is everything alright…?"
"Death…destruction…" Hikaru replied in a monotonous tone.
.
.
"I believe this is where things get interesting…" Desdemona said with a slightly widening grin.
"Interesting…?" Ophelia blinked, looking to her mother with confusion.
"Don't you hear it in the wind? We have a special guest coming to drop by…" Desdemona explained. "It's been so long since I've seen him; I wonder how this will turn out…"
.
.
"Daryan! Daryan!" Alex rushed over to Daryan and shook him gently a few times. "Hey, come on snap out of it!"
"Is he alright…" Shadowlore asked while speeding onto the scene.
Kagura was nearby. Seeing Daryan drop to a knee made her rush over. "Hey, what's wrong with him?" She asked.
"I-I don't know, he just collapsed!" Alex replied. "Please be okay…!"
"Daryan…" Yakuza muttered.
"What is happening…" Magnus said while looking into the sky. But it was in that moment, that he had a terrible vision of a encroaching darkness...
.
.
Adamantine and Mithril were on the outskirts of the city, both in their human forms. They would've kept fighting, but the action was cut by the sudden tension in the air. "You smell it too, right…?" Adam asked while narrowing his eyes at his brother.
"Yes…" Mithril replied.
"Oh…this can't be happening…" Gaia began to panic. "This isn't good, this isn't good at all."
.
.
"Nnk…!" Wendy gasped before her eyes widened, falling to the ground immediately. This brought concern to Cynthia and Carla, though the former was experiencing the same sudden feeling of dread and despair.
"W-Wendy…!" Cynthia limped over to Wendy, nearly falling over in the process. Wendy did not look well; it was like she was having a heart attack and that worried the two.
"H-Hold on…we'll get you to a healer…!" Cynthia said while slowly making her way back to her feet.
"How are you going to do anything when you're just as bad as she is?!" Carla questioned.
"I-I have to try…!" Cynthia exclaimed; she didn't mean to yell or raise her voice, but Wendy's safety was top priority. Before anything else could happen, it was as if a knife cut through the air. The tension was split in half suddenly, but it wasn't a reliving feeling. There was a loud crash upon something landing near the three females. When the smoke cleared, the one that was the cause of all this tension was revealed. It was none other than the Black Dragon Acnologia; the dragon stared down at the three females before letting out a roar that shook the earth for miles.
