When Aster returned to the guild, he needed the help of Maru, Gin, and Yukina. Sandy even brought Mary along for the ride. They were on their way to Wolfbane and that's when Aster told them what's going on. A dangerous wizard named Zareb is up yo no good, and they're attempting to stop him. That's when they find them facing him and some thugs right now.

"So, you lot are here to try and stop me?" Zareb mocked. "You're going to need the luck of the devil. You won't even be able to catch me."

"Is that really him?" Mary questioned.

"It is." Aster claimed.

"You might be fast, but that doesn't mean you can't be stopped!" Maru said.

"Oh yeah?" Zareb said. Then, with aid of his speed magic he made his way through them and appeared between them and the thugs. "You still think that?"

"He really is fast!" Gin said as they were astonished with his speed.

"No kidding. I barely saw him move." Yukina claimed.

"The hand is quicker than eye. Exhibit A..." Zareb said with him holding out his arm. Then, something weird happened. He showed he was holding an appealing thong.

"What the hell?" Gin said. That was when Mary shrieked and tried to keep her skirt down.

"You freak! That's mine!" Mary shouted.

"I know. Not a bad piece. You seem a little young for it, but you got a nice bod." Zareb said. "Anyway, the point is that you can't catch me, so you can't stop me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I got some work to do. I'll let my new friends handle this." He said before taking off with use of his speed magic.

"Hey! Give me back my underwear!" Mary shouted, but he was already gone and left all the thugs to deal with the guild wizards.

"Looks like whatever he's planning is happening now. These guys are just here to distract us." Aster said.

"Are they wizards?" Yukina questioned.

"No. I sense little magic. They're probably just common criminals and punks." Aster said. "They're just here to waste our time. Zareb is who we need to go after. Gin and Maru, you two go on ahead and find Zareb."

"Us?" Maru questioned.

"Zareb might be fast, but I doubt he's faster than a bullet or light itself." Aster said. "You two go on ahead and do what you can. The rest of us will try to handle them."

"Got it. There's really no time to argue." Gin said.

"Right. Be careful." Maru said. Gin and Maru went on ahead as they made their way through the station and went after Zareb. That just left the others to deal with a large crowd of thugs.

"Hold on. We're really going to fight all these guys alone?" Mary said as she didn't like the odds while those thugs looked ready to rumble.

"No worries." Aster said as he stepped forward. "Earlier you asked what kind of magic I can use, but you are about to see for yourself."

"Does this guy really think he can take on all of us?"

"I don't even know what guild they're from, but I don't think it's one of the popular ones. I doubt they're really anything special."

"It doesn't matter how many of you there are." Aster said. "To a proud member of Phoenix Flame such as myself, a large number of enemies is just another challenge for us to take. Besides, numbers aren't that important in a fight. One can defeat many. Many other variables are of greater importance, but perhaps I should just show you." Aster got himself ready as he took a stance and placed his fist right into his hand with a light shining from it.

"That stance... Does this guy use maker magic?"

"Maker magic? What's that?" Mary questioned.

"It's where you give your magic power a tangible form." Yukina explained.

"Many maker magic uses create items, weapons, or objects with their weapon. Some use material like ice or wood, but Aster's is special." Sandy claimed. "He uses crystal."

"Here we go! Crystal-Make: Ruby Spears!" Aster formed various spears made out of pure rubies. Once he created them, he launched them all right at the enemy with some force. "You're not getting away! Crystal-Make: Emerald Hammer!" He then formed a giant hammer war hammer made of emerald and it smashed right against the ground sending some of them flying.

"That's amazing!" Mary said as she's never seen anything like that. "He can make crystal weapons from just his magic?!"

"That's what makes Aster's magic special." Sandy said.

"Take him down! He's just one guy!" All of them tried to attack Aster, but Aster didn't back down from them.

"Now! Crystal-make: Sapphire Sword!" Now Aster made a sword for him to wield out of pure sapphire. He took on all of them as he charged right in. With one swing of a sword, Aster took down few of them. With that sword in hand, he fought off each one of them. Since he makes a variety of weapons, he has shown to be great with a sword and can also use hand-to-hand combat.

"Wow! Look at him go!" Mary said.

"Now you see why Aster is called the Phoenix Gem by some." Yukina said. "Not only because of his type of magic, but also because he's a great fighter. It's why he was able to become an S-class wizard." Mary never knew that a wizard could be as incredible as Aster, but she's beginning to understand what all the hype was about. Aster was able to fight off against all of them easily. No wonder the others made a big deal of him.

"Get the girls! We'll use them as hostages against this freak!" Some of them went right for the girls thinking they were defenseless, but they made a mistake.

"Might as well get in on this." Yukina said with her joining in the fight. "White Fang!" She unleashed her snow magic by creating a gust of wind and snow. It came down on them like a fang and smashed into them rather hard.

"Come on, Mary! Get in there!" Sandy encouraged.

"I might as well. I just hope these creeps don't try to sneak a peak." Mary said with her still pushing down on her skirt. She held out her charms and went with the charm of Earth now. "Come forth, the huntress of the land! Earth!" She called on her third olympian. This one was a woman, but she was dressed like an amazon. She wore a blue piece covering her breasts with a grey skirt and wearing boots with her wearing a skeletal necklace. She also had silver hair with it tied back in a thin tail with two large strands framing her face. She also carried a large sword in her hand.

"You called for me." Earth said.

"Wow! That girl looks hot!" Some of the guys called with them practically having steam blowing out of their noses.

"Listen up, Earth! I need you to take down these guys!" Mary ordered.

"Not a problem." Earth said. She held up her sword and flew straight at these thugs. She swung her sword and took many of them out in one shot.

"Wow! That third olympian you have there has some power!" Sandy said.

"This is the type of magic you use Mary? It really is incredible!" Yukina said.

"Of course. Earth is designed for battle just like Mars, and she's only getting started. Isn't that right, Earth?" Mary said.

"Of course. As you can see, I'm quite loyal to whoever wields my charm. Her enemies are my enemies as well." Earth claimed. "So, I've got not problem taking them down! Ground Wave!" She smashed her sword against the ground and unleashed a shockwave with earth magic that sent more of the enemy flying.

"Hmm. That is rather impressive, Mary. I've never seen magic like yours before." Aster said as even he was amazed with what Mary did, and Mary was really glad to hear he was real pleased.

'Sweet! I scored with the big dog. If I can make it good with him, I might be able to get out of this alive.' Mary thought. 'Not to mention he makes his own crystals. If I play this right, I can make so much moola.'

"So, you've got a warrior that has an attitude, a birdie that's weirdly fast, and an amazon that can make the ground tremble? Your magic is weird." Sandy said.

"You're one to talk, you stupid cat! You can actually speak and grow wings! What other cat can actually do something like that?!" Mary argued.

"Enough fooling around. Let's finish this." Aster said. The enemy thought they had the advantage with the numbers, but it seems that wasn't enough. All of them were starting to get scared now.

"Who are these freaks?!"

"I knew wizards use weird abilities with magic, but I never knew they could do something like this!" It would seem that they greatly underestimated what the wizard of Phoenix Flame are capable of. They're in real trouble now.

...

Maru and Gin

While the others were dealing with them, Maru and Gin looked around for where Zareb might have gone to.

"Where did he go?" Maru questioned.

"I'm not sure. We don't even know what he's after here." Gin said. "With his speed he could already have left the station. No wonder people have a hard time catching him."

"I think we should split apart and look around." Maru said.

"Are you sure? The guy is rather fast and is a killer. We could be dead before we even know it." Gin said.

"That's a chance we'll just have to take." Maru said. It was rather risky, but they don't have the time to be careful when dealing with someone so fast that he could already be gone. Gin agreed to the plan. With a high-five, the two of them went in different directions. Gin made his way through the station, but a couple more guys got in his way.

"There's one of those guild wizards! Take him down!"

"More of these guys?" Gin complained. He pulled out his gun and built a large blast of magic in front it. "Cannon Shot!" He fired a large blast of magic like a cannonball and blasted them all in one hit. "Too easy. Now, why don't you tell me where I can find Zareb." Meanwhile, Maru was making his way through the station and was able to find an exit.

"Maybe he already went into the town." Maru figured. He was going to go there, but he heard a small sound. He looked and saw a man trying to get to the stairs, but he looked rather shaken. It was actually the same employee that Zareb shook down. Seeing someone in distress, Maru hurried over to help him. "Hey! Are you okay?!"

"No, I'm not. Some sort of wizard came out of nowhere and attacked us."

"You saw him? Do you know what he was after?" Maru questioned.

...

The Others

"There. That should take care of them." Aster claimed. Aster and the girls were able to handle all of the thugs that attempted to attack them. It was like knocking over bowling pins for them. "Nicely done, girls."

"I'm glad we dealt with that." Yukina said.

"And I'm glad to have this." Mary said as she held up shards of the crystals Aster created with her feeling like she's got so much money in the palm of her hands. 'I'm so lucky to have a new friend that's basically a gem factory.' She thought.

"I wouldn't get so excited if I were you, Mary." Sandy advised. "You can't make any money out of those crystals. They'll disappear after a while. That's why Aster never uses them to make any payments."

"So, they're basically worthless." Mary said as she wasn't glad to hear that and just let the shards slip right out of her hands.

"What about Zareb? What do we do about him?" Yukina questioned.

"Perhaps we should have left one of them awake so they could tell us what we need to know about Zareb." Aster said. "I hope Maru and Gin had some luck in finding him."

"I think I have an idea. Earth, before you go, do you think you can find Zareb?" Mary said. "I know you don't know what he looks like or anything, but he's a wizard that does use speed magic. Can you feel his movements or something?"

"I can try, but my range is limited." Earth said. She placed her hand against the ground and sent out her magic through the ground.

"What is she doing?" Yukina questioned.

"I'm sending out my magic through the ground to try and feel movement and such." Earth said. "Maybe I can find the one you're looking for if he is still within range." She kept searching, but soon felt something. "That's odd."

"What is it? Did you find him?" Mary questioned.

"I feel one of the trains moving." Earth said.

"What? Why would a train be moving now?" Aster questioned. "After that little commotion, the trains shouldn't be moving for the safety of the passengers. They should be in gridlock. They could have been cleared to move that quickly. Unless... It's got to be Zareb!"

"What? He went through all of this just to get a train. That makes no sense." Mary said. "Why attack here if he was planning to hijack a train all along?"

"Unless there's something about the train that's leaving that he was really after!" Aster said.

...

Gin

Gin made quick work of the guys that attacked him. When he was done with them, he attempted to get some answers as to what Zareb is planning.

"Are you serious?! That is what he's planning?!" Gin said. When he was told what Zareb was planning, he couldn't believe it.

"That's right. Since this station gets all kinds of trains, it was the perfect target to get what he's after. Zareb had to have hijacked it by now. The train he just grabbed was carrying a magical substance that is combustible. Zareb's plan is to take it to our real target and have the train crash."

"Are you people insane?! You're okay with something like this?!" Gin said.

"I'm telling you because there's nothing you and your friends can do now. For people like us that have nothing, this is going to change the way things are done." Whatever Zareb's real target is sounds like it's something big if needs to crash a train carrying a dangerous substance to use it.

...

Zareb

Zareb was already on his way with the train he stole. He chased everyone on the train away and it was now just him and tanks of an explosive substance.

"It won't be long now. Once this train hits its final stop, there are going to be fireworks." Zareb said. He could hardly wait for what he has planned. What he didn't know was that his train had a stowaway. It appears that Maru found out about his plan. He got on the train before it departed and is now climbing his way through it to try and stop Zareb on his own.
