Phoenix Flame is in quite a disarray. The dark guild, Fiendish Gargoyle, attacked their guild and made a bit of a mess of the place. They did so because the one they were after was Yukina. It turns out that Yukina is Master Johnson's daughter, the one in charge of Fiendish Gargoyle. When Velvet learned about that, he informed everyone else about it. They were all stunned about that, and they are now trying to plan their next attack.
"What a mess. I can't believe how quickly things turned into this." Mary said.
"None of us expected Yukina to be their target, nor did we expect her to be the daughter of a dark guild's master." Aster said.
"I was pretty surprised about that." Sandy said. "Why do you think she never told us the truth?"
"I don't know, but it's obvious the relationship with her father is pretty estranged." Gin said. "If she didn't say anything, she clearly didn't want to be a part of that life. Maybe it's her biggest shame."
"All of that doesn't matter. What does is that we got to get her back." Maru said. "They took Yukina by force. They kidnapped her. That's crossing a line since it's clear she didn't want to be there."
"But I thought it was looked down upon by the Magic Council to take matters into our own hands." Mary said. "I get you guys don't like this, but we're still talking about taking on Yukina's father. That Phatar was an even match for you, Maru. We're really going to take on a guild over a personal matter?"
"Of course. Yukina obviously doesn't want to be there. We have to help her." Maru claimed.
"Of course, we need the Master's approval." Aster said. All of them looked at him and wondered if Velvet will allow it.
"We're faced with a serious situation." Velvet said. "We are dealing with a strong enemy. We need your help, Serenity." He said with him speaking to her over a lacrima, but she didn't looked pleased. "What do you say?"
"I can't believe that you allowed a pathetic dark guild to walk all over you like this." Serenity said. "That makes you even more pathetic. Now you're saying you want me to waste my time over something like this? I might if you find me a nice guy that will make it worth my wild."
"Serenity, put your pride aside. They've kidnapped Yukina." Velvet said.
"Who? Oh, you mean the snow wizard?" Serenity said. "I think you should just admit you're in over your head and make me master, old man. Until then, you should be able to handle this without me." She ended the call there with Velvet greatly agitated.
"That girl... Do we know where Frio is yet?!" Velvet called.
"No, sir. We haven't been able to locate him. We don't know where he is, so we can't get in contact with him." Not what Velvet wanted to hear. They might need the guild's strongest, but two of them don't appear to be available.
"Master? What are we going to do?" Aster questioned.
"I can handle our guildhall getting wrecked, but I cannot overlook that they attacked one of our own and kidnapped her." Velvet said as he was radiating with a red magic aura. With or without their strongest... "If Fiendish Gargoyle wants a fight so badly, we'll give them one!"
...
Yukina
Yukina was taken captive by her own father's guild. They knocked her out and dragged her away. When she could finally regain her senses, she woke up and found herself against the ground.
"What? Where am I?" Yukina questioned. She tried to get up, but she felt her hands bound behind her back. "What is this?" She didn't understand until it all came flashing back to her. "Have I really been kidnapped?"
"That's right." Yukina looked up and was met with Phatar.
"You're... You're Phantom Phatar!" Yukina said.
"You know me? I'm glad my reputation is growing, but you are his daughter. I guess it shouldn't be that surprising that you know." Phatar said. "Come on. Get up." He pulled Yukina up so that she would sit up. "Say hello to your old man." Yukina felt frightened. She looked up and saw him standing before her. Her father, the master of this dark guild, was standing right before her.
"Yukina... My sweet daughter... At long last you've returned home." Johnson said, but this didn't feel like a happy reunion. Especially since Yukina glared daggers right at her own father. "That's not how a daughter should look at her father. Yukina, why did you run away? I've been worried sick about you."
"I'm sure you have." Yukina said as she didn't buy that.
"I have been. When I realized you were gone, I was greatly worried. You've been gone for over a year." Johnson said. "I spent that time trying to find you, but I couldn't figure out where you could have gone. Especially since you changed your last name." Yukina didn't really have anything to say to him. She found herself unwilling to even look at her own father. "Don't look away from me, unless it's because you feel guilty about all that you've done." He walked right over and got behind her. He opened up her top just enough to see a white guild emblem of Phoenix Flame on the back of her left shoulder. "So, you've actually branded yourself with the emblem of another guild, and it was one that doesn't bring magic to it's fullest potential."
"That's right, I did!" Yukina said as she couldn't stand him, especially how he talked like he was disappointed and trashed Phoenix Flame like that. "I joined that guild because I didn't want to be apart of this one! When I ran away, Phoenix Flame took me in and treated me so kindly! I didn't tell them about you because I didn't want them to know what my father was!"
"Don't raise your voice at me, young lady." Johnson said as he was dropping the concerned parent act. "If anything, I should be the one upset. You ran away and went to join another guild when you belong in this guild."
"I don't want to be a part of this guild!" Yukina claimed.
"Is that so?" Johnson said.
"That's right. I've seen the way you ran things. Being the child of someone who acts like a criminal mastermind isn't all that great." Yukina said. She remembered seeing horrific scenes, moments that scared her growing up. Muggings, attacking innocent people, everything she knew that was wrong happened right in front of her eyes growing up. She hated every bit of it. "I've seen what you and the members of this guild do, and I didn't want to be a part of any of that. I hated all of it. I didn't wanted to be a part of it, but that wouldn't have worked for you. You only cared about getting what you wanted."
"I cared about what was best for you." Johnson said. "That's all that any father wanted. It was my hope that you would join this guild and take it over. It's part of your family heritage."
"I didn't want to be a part of this!" Yukina argued. "You might have enjoyed making others miserable, but I didn't. I wanted a better life than this. That's why I ran away and soon found my way to Phoenix Flame. It's provided me a better life than you could."
"She certainly has a lot to say. She's feisty for a snow wizard." Phatar said.
"I'm not to worried. You'll come around eventually. All is right with the world again." Johnson said. "You are home where you belong, Yukina, and we're just going to have to make sure you come around. We'll just have to remind you of your heritage."
"I wouldn't call this dump a heritage." Yukina claimed.
"A dump? Let me show you something." Johnson said. He grabbed a hold of Yukina and brought her over to a window. When she was brought there, she saw quite a view and could tell she was several stories up in the air out in the middle of nowhere. "As you can see, our guild has been doing quite well to have a nice place like this. We've made some improvements since you've been away, and have risen in both money and power. That's why we had the guts to attack that guild."
"I still say it's a dump because of all that you had to do to get here." Yukina claimed since she had a few ideas how he obtained all of it. "If you think Phoenix Flame is going to let you get away with what you did, you have another thing coming. They aren't as cowardly or weak as you think." She warned him, but he didn't even seem that concerned.
"I could have taken that walking light bulb if you hadn't pulled me away. Same with the rest of those gutless birdies." Phatar said. "I had to attack them first before they actually took action. That's the problem with people in guilds like that. They don't have the guts to take action because they're too worried about the Magic Council. The little babies don't want to get in trouble."
"I wouldn't be too sure about that, Phatar." Johnson said. He wondered what he meant until they felt the place began to shake.
"What the hell is that?" Phatar said.
"They're here." Johnson said.
...
Outside
It was just as Yukina thought. Phoenix Flame went on the attack. Since Fiendish Gargoyle attacked them and kidnapped Yukina, the kid gloves are coming off. Many of their wizards attacked the building and caused members of Fiendish Gargoyle to come out and engage them in battle. Velvet stood back and watched over this going on like a general to lead the army. Since one of his own is in there, he's going to make sure they get her out.
"Master Velvet!" Aster called as he and the others stood there. "Are we really just going to storm the place?"
"Works for me." Gin said. "It's time to get some payback."
"Hold on a minute." Velvet said and kept them from doing anything. "We're not here for revenge. We're re jere to rescue a comrade. While we keep them busy, I want the rest of you to find a way in and get Yukina out of there."
"I get it. Get her out of there while you take care of things here." Maru said.
"We get the easy and least dangerous part? Works for me." Mary said.
"It won't be easy and it will be dangerous." Velvet claimed. "That building is a tall one. I reckon that it has at least four levels of empty rooms to it. One for each of Fiendish Gargoyle's best. They're still inside and must be waiting."
"That means Phatar is in there." Maru said.
"And he might want to finish what he started with you." Sandy said.
"So if we want to get Yukina out of there, we have to get through them first." Gin said.
"It will be done." Aster said.
"Wait! It will?!" Mary said as she didn't like getting the most dangerous part.
"Come on, Mary. Yukina needs help!" Maru said as he grabbed her arm and took her with them. Velvet was hoping it didn't come to this, but Fiendish Gargoyle brought this upon them.
...
Johnson
Johnson and the others looked down at what was happening outside from the top of the guildhall. They saw the battle commence and Yukina glad to see that Phoenix Flame came.
"I told you, Dad." Yukina said. "I knew they would come."
"Yes, as did I. Just as I planned." Johnson said with him actually glad that this happened. Yukina was a little surprised that he would say that.
"You planned this? You wanted them to come here?" Yukina questioned.
"Of course. That's why I sent a thought projection to the master of that guild." Johnson said. "Phatar and Tsubasa could have just taken you away without that guild knowing a thing. I purposely did what I did to give Phoenix Flame a little incentive to come here."
"Why would you want something like that?" Yukina questioned.
"To serve as both a lesson and a reminder. A lesson as to what happens when you take something that belongs to me." Johnson said. Then, he leaned down and spoke right into her ear. "As well as a lesson for you, my dear daughter. A lesson as to why you should have never ran away from me, and what will happen to this mere guild if you ever choose to defy me like this again. What's about to come to them is all because of your selfish choices." Johnson is trying to make it seem like this is all Yukina's fault. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she was already believing that. His words only made it worse. If Phoenix Flame really can't defeat this guild, Yukina thinks all the blame is going to fall on her.
"Can we go wreck these losers yet?" Phatar questioned.
"I'm sure they'll find a way in the building and try to find her." Johnson said. "I need you here to tear these enemies down."
"Fine. It's not like they have a chance against us." Phatar said as he, Tsubasa, and two others stood ready for a fight. The four elite of Fiendish Gargoyle.
"Good. Moola, you are up first." Johnson said. "Let's show these half-baked wizards what one can really accomplish with magic when they aren't bound by restraints."

Outside
Maru and the others managed to find a around all the fighting that was going on. When they did that, they were able to find another entry point to get in the enemy's guildhall. When Aster took a look inside, he saw no traps or enemies.
"There's a set of stairs here. They might go all the way to the top." Aster said.
"What are we waiting for?" Gin said as he got his guns all set to go. Mary was nervous, but it looks like she might not be able to get out of this. As for Maru, he looked up to the tower worried about Yukina being trapped up there.
"Hang on, Yukina. We'll get you out of there."
