The soft morning light filtered through the curtains as Bella stirred awake. She glanced beside her to see Edward already up, his golden eyes studying her with that familiar look of quiet adoration.

"Good morning, love," Edward whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead.

Bella smiled sleepily. "Morning. How are our little ones today?"

"They're up to something," Edward chuckled. "I could hear them shuffling around in their room."

Bella's eyes lit up with curiosity. "We should check on them before they grow another inch overnight," she joked, slipping out of bed.

Edward laughed softly as they headed to the nursery together. The past weeks had flown by—Isabella and Elliot were growing faster than anyone had anticipated. What started as baby coos had quickly turned into wobbly steps and now, mischievous giggles that filled the Cullen household with joy.

Checking Their Growth

As they opened the door, they found Isabella standing proudly on her tiptoes, trying to reach the top of her bookshelf, while Elliot concentrated intently, a toy bunny hovering just above his chubby hands.

"Looks like they've been busy," Bella said, her eyes wide with delight.

Edward grinned, stepping inside. "Alright, you two. Let's see how much you've grown since yesterday."

With a bit of playful struggle, they measured the twins against the marks on the wall. As expected, they had shot up yet another couple of inches.

"Isabella, Elliot, you're growing so fast!" Bella cooed, planting kisses on their heads.

"Too fast," Edward added, his voice softening. "At this rate, they'll be taller than Alice by next week."

A little giggle escaped Isabella, and in that moment, Bella noticed something unusual. Tiny green vines were sprouting from the pot of daisies beside her. Bella blinked, then looked at Edward. "Did you see that?"

Edward's eyes widened. "Isabella… did you do that, sweetheart?"

The toddler turned to her mother, her big eyes glowing with innocent wonder. She reached out a small hand, and the vines twisted playfully around her fingers.

"Let's take this outside," Bella suggested, her heart swelling with pride. Edward agreed, lifting Elliot into his arms while Bella carried Isabella out into the garden.

The air was filled with the scent of damp earth and fresh blossoms. As they settled in by the vegetable patch, Bella and Edward exchanged a look that spoke volumes. It was time to see just how far their children's newfound powers could go.

"Alright, let's see what you can do," Edward said with a smile, setting Elliot down. "Bella, can you hand me the spade?"

Bella reached for the gardening tool, but before she could move, it floated right out of the tool bag and landed gently in Edward's outstretched hand.

Edward raised an eyebrow. "That wasn't you, was it?" he asked Bella.

"Nope," she replied, eyes twinkling with amusement. "That was all your son."

Elliot giggled proudly, clapping his little hands.

Just then, the sound of a car pulling up caught their attention. Charlie stepped out, his face lighting up at the sight of his daughter and grandchildren.

"Grandpa's here!" Bella called to the twins. They ran—or more accurately, wobbled—towards him, their excitement barely contained.

Charlie scooped them up with ease, grinning like a proud grandpa. "Hey there, munchkins! What's this I hear about magic powers?"

Isabella shyly extended her hand toward a nearby rose bush, and as Charlie watched, a single red rose bloomed right before his eyes.

Charlie's jaw dropped. "Well, I'll be damned. That's… incredible, Bella."

"They're full of surprises," Bella said, her voice brimming with pride. "And it seems Elliot has a knack for moving things without touching them."

Elliot, not wanting to be outdone, concentrated on his grandpa's hat, which lifted gently off Charlie's head and hovered in mid-air. Charlie let out a deep, hearty laugh, his eyes crinkling with joy.

"You two are gonna keep me on my toes, aren't you?" he said, ruffling their hair.

Not wanting the rest of the family to miss out, Edward quickly sent a message to the Cullens. Within moments, the whole family was gathered in the garden.

Alice was the first to gush. "I knew something amazing was going to happen today, but this… wow!" She knelt down, extending a hand to Isabella. "Can you make these tulips bloom, sweetie?"

Isabella, now brimming with confidence, waved her hand over the tulips. They burst into a kaleidoscope of colors, causing Alice to clap her hands with delight. "You're a natural, darling!"

Emmett leaned down to Elliot. "Hey, little man, think you can float something heavier? How about Uncle Emmett's shoe?"

Elliot's brow furrowed with concentration, and sure enough, Emmett's heavy boot slowly lifted off his foot.

"Hey! Not bad, kiddo!" Emmett laughed, though he struggled to keep his balance.

Rosalie watched the scene with a soft smile, her eyes shining with a mix of awe and affection. "They're going to be incredible, Bella," she said quietly. "But we'll have to help them learn control."

Carlisle, ever the curious scientist, observed from the sidelines with a thoughtful expression. "Their abilities are evolving quickly. This could be something new entirely—an evolution even beyond what we've seen in hybrids before."

Bella nodded, her smile fading slightly. "That's why we need to keep an eye on them, especially with the Volturi still out there. Just because Aro is gone doesn't mean we're safe."

Edward wrapped an arm around her shoulders, kissing her temple. "We'll protect them, Bella. Together."

Jacob, who had arrived with Veronica, stood back with a proud grin. "Seems like the pack might have a few new recruits in a few years."

Bella smiled, glancing over at her children, now playing with the family. "Yes… and they're going to have an army of protectors, aren't they?"
