Chapter Forty-seven: The flying ship fleet

Dawn and the rest of her friends and other allies couldn't believe it. The true real boss of Team Heart had just revealed themselves after the massive effort Team Heart had given to try to invade and take Sinnoh had failed. The true real boss of Team Heart had turned out to be Yvonne, one of the professors who operates in the Kalos region. Yvonne is also the professor who keeps Serena's extra Pokémon at her lab.

Due to having been outed via finally being found out by a psychic trainer sussing out the answer via their powers, Yvonne was forced to take a more active role in Team Heart's efforts to take over all of the world. She started by having the psychic trainer who had outed her, Anistar City gym leader Olympia, killed for the offence of outing her as Team Heart's true Boss. Yvonne now was working to lead Team Heart troops in Kalos.

But the heroic forces in the world were NOT going to just roll over and allow Yvonne to succeed in her mad desires to conquer all of the world. She and the rest of Team Heart had to be stopped, the world had to be saved from conquest. As such, the reborn trainers and their allies decided that the fight had to be brought to Yvonne, she had to be stopped directly, if the world was to have any shot at all of being saved.

Luckily, the heroic forces of the world had a few things going for them. First off, Team Heart had been weakened due to the results of their ultimately failed attempt to take Sinnoh. Not only were all of the invading Team Heart forces beaten back, but many top non-Team Heart trainers that were in the mix had been captured. This resulted in Team Heart being denied a lot of their strength that they (formerly) had access to.

Second, due to Yvonne having been outed thanks to the efforts of the now late Olympia, a LOT of focus was on trying to capture her. This meant that she wasn't entirely free to lead troops, she still had to hide and defend herself from being captured. If the heat was kept up on Yvonne like that, it would go a long way to cut her effectiveness in trying to finish the bastard, evil job that had been started by Team Heart.

Third, even Bianca, the Boss's Assistant of Team Heart and long time openly acting head of Team Heart, wasn't in any condition to try to order troops. As Dawn and a select few others were working on a way to get to Kalos to bring the fight to Yvonne, they heard word that an attempt had been made on the life of Bianca, someone tried to shoot her with a gun. Luckily, the bullet only got her in her left shoulder and it was removed.

But Bianca is still recovering, she can't effectively issue orders to Team Heart troops. Neither can Yvonne who has to focus on evading capture until things become easy enough for her to come out into the open and issue orders. Thus things fall to the Admins of the various Sectors. But a mix of their leaders being in peril and the crushing defeat dealt to Team Heart on Sinnoh had done quite a lot to sap Team Heart's fighting will.

Not only are leading figures in the free lands seeing this as an opportunity to strike back against the Team Heart Empire, but there's already word of rebellion in the regions under Team Heart's banner. Indeed, Johto and Kalos at least are already in open rebellion against the villainous rule that is over them, and Johto is being aided by next door neighbor Kanto who is still one of the free lands. Things seem to be turning up good for the good people of the world.

But Team Heart still had a hold on over half of the world, and it's a hold that they will fight to the bitter end to maintain. Thusly the heroic trainers of the world are going to be bringing the fight right to Team Heart's front door, and leading that charge will be the reborn trainers, the crew of The Big Beauty, and their various friends. It will be a fight that will determine the fate of the world at large, and all of the people living in it.

Professor Yvonne is still confirmed to be in Kalos, so a top priority to the efforts to bring down the Boss of Team Heart is to track her down and capture her. Ideally it's good to take Yvonne alive, but there's a chance that either she's killed in the attempt to take her, or she kills herself to avoid being taken alive. Hopefully she can be taken alive, but if not then hey, the ultimate leader of Team Heart won't be a problem anymore.

As The Big Beauty was checked to make sure it was in tip top shape, Dawn received word that a number of other flying ships, all from Salvia's Kingdom but none quite as big as The Big Beauty, had been captured during the invasion of Sinnoh that Team Heart recently tried to do; they were formerly Team Heart ships, but repurposed to serve the needs of those on the side of good. Counting The Big Beauty, a grand total of twelve flying ships were available to the heroes.

As the flying ships were all originally from Salvia's kingdom, they were turned over to her ownership. "...I'm not much of one for commanding ships," Saliva said, not sure of her abilities to command troops and other units in wartime, "I believe that command of all of the flying ships we got, at least until Team Heart is defeated, ought to be turned over to Dawn."

"Dawn is seriously in command of her own fleet of flying ships?!" Leona exclaimed.

"At least until Team Heart is dealt with," Dawn pointed out, still surprised that she's being put in charge of a fleet of flying ships.

"I got it that the flying ships were all cleared out of Team Heart taint," Trip said, "And that they all got new paint jobs to cover up their heartful sin. Now they just need new names."

Folding his arms over his chest, Lucas said, "We need to come up with names for eleven flying ships?"

Dawn, as if on instinct, covered the mouth of Kenny, who looked very excited. "Let's... draw up a list of possible ship names first," Dawn said, wanting to keep things from going... coo-coo.

...

Dawn soon had a meeting with everyone in her crew in The Big Beauty, plus a number of other people, all of whom are trusted friends and allies in Sinnoh. Ash and Brock were also both part of the meeting that was going on. "Okay, here's the deal," Dawn said, "Counting The Big Beauty, there's a total of twelve flying ships in the fleet that we now have. The Big Beauty will be the flag ship of the fleet, and I'll be the commander on board."

"Dawn is now an Admiral," Kenny said, "She'll probably learn to use Haki get a Logia Dev-"

Kenny was cut off by a smack to the back of his head, courtesy of Trip. "Thank you, Trip," Dawn said, feeling she'd much prefer to get the same Devil Fruit as Kaido. "Now, the eleven flying ships that we had captured had all already been tuned up and given all appropriate repair work, they've also been cleared out of all Team Heart taint, and even got fresh paint jobs. All that we have to figure out now is what names to give them," Dawn went on.

"Oh ho ho, we get to decide on the names of some flying ships now?" asked Sho, looking very much amused at the idea.

"To save time," Dawn said, "Trip, Kenny, Mina, and I have each come up with five names, forming a pool of twenty. The eleven names that prove to be the most popular will be used. I'll put up my ideas first." Dawn turned around and wrote on a large dry erase board on wheels that was behind her. By the time she was done, Dawn turned around to show what she wrote.

"My ideas for ship names," Dawn began, "Are The Restored Faith, The Rebuilt Bridge, The Regained Trust, The Repaired Bond, and The Reborn Hero."

"Ah, I get it," Freesia said, "The flying ships were once all under Team Heart ownership and use, but now they're on our side. The names you came up with reflect that." A number of others at the meeting all applauded Dawn's brilliant and creative name ideas for the flying ships that had been recovered from Team Heart.

Walking up to the dry erase board, Trip said, "Yo, lemme get my ideas up there." Trip then proceeded to write up his name ideas for the flying ships. "There we go," Trip said as he turned around to show what he wrote, "The ideas for flying ship names that I had come up with are The USS Enterprise, The USS Cerritos, The Warbird Scimitar, The Gokai Galleon, and The Planet Express Ship."

"Those are... interesting name ideas," Mitchael remarked, a bit unsure on how to proceed.

Kenny then walked up to the dry erase board and wrote his ideas for flying ship names. When he was done he turned around to show everyone what he wrote. "My ideas for flying ship names," said Kenny, "Are The Jelly-Filled Donut, The Soaring Pasta, The Cell Games Arena, The Going Merry, and The Thousand Sunny."

"I don't know why," Brock said, "But I like the sound of the first idea for a flying ship name that you had come up with, Kenny."

"That's because I was wanting to come up with a name that sounded really strong, and The Jelly-Filled Donut is the strongest name that I could think of," Kenny replied, "And that's due to the fact that nothing beats a jelly-filled donut."

Mina then took her turn with writing flying ship name ideas on the dry erase board. When she was done, Mina turned around to show everyone what she had written. "My ideas for flying ship name ideas," Mina began, "Are The Black Pearl, The Death Star, The Broken Wind, The Cut Cheese, and last but not least The Sexy Beast."

Paul gave the driest of mildly disturbed looks to Mina. "...Out of all of those ideas, only your first one sounds appropriate enough to use," Paul said.

"But the last one was named in honor of Kenny," Mina said.

"Stuff like this," Dawn said to everyone, "Is why all of the ideas are posted. Now, everyone get a sheet of paper and something to write with, then write down your eleven favorite options. The ones that get the most overall votes will be used."

Relaxing, Rhyanna said, "Yeah, putting things up to a vote like this is way better. We can agree on what the best options are."

Paul nodded in agreement. "Yeah, some of the names... really aren't all that great of ideas to use with all due respect." Paul was expecting common sense to win out here, with only the most choice options on the lists that were provided by Dawn, Trip, Kenny, and Mina to be used. Paul actually felt that most if not all of the options that Dawn had provided would end up being used for some of the flying ships, given the deep thought and very creative backgrounds of said name ideas.

...

Out of the twenty names that had been offered for the captured and repurposed flying ships, the only one that Dawn had come up with that made the cut was The Reborn Hero. Trip's suggestions of The Gokai Galleon, The USS Enterprise, and The Planet Express Ship made the cut, all five of the ideas that Kenny had come up with had somehow made the cut, leaving Mina's suggestions of The Black Pearl and The Death Star as the last two needed names that made the cut.

"How did all five of Kenny's ideas for names for the flying ships pass?!" Heath exclaimed.

"I was guided into choosing fine names by the power of Cringe," Kenny said.

Doing up a list, Dawn said to everyone, "...Okay, everyone! So the eleven names we're apparently going to go with for the repurposed flying ships are The Reborn Hero, The USS Enterprise, The Gokai Galleon, The Planet Express Ship, The Jelly-Filled Donut, The Cell Games Arena, The Soaring Pasta, The Going Merry, The Thousand Sunny, The Death Star, and The Black Pearl."

Lowering the list that she had done up, Dawn said, "Now we need to assign names to the ships, as well as recruit crew members for the fleet."

"At least the name ideas Mina came up with that are euphemisms for passing gas didn't make the cut," Lucas said.

"How does 'sexy beast' translate to fart?" Barry asked, looking confused.

Holding up a hand, Trip said, "Maybe some folks from the mother ship can run things on the newest members of the flying ship fleet."

Arching a wry eyebrow, Dawn said, "What do you mean?"

"Ooh!" Kenny said, "Maybe he means that guys from The Big Beauty can transfer over to the other flying ships and captain them!"

Trip nodded in the affirmative. Dawn let out an understanding, slightly amused sigh as she gave a likewise nod. "Very well," Dawn said, "But first, let's at least see the newest flying ships in the fleet. If I'm going to be commanding the fleet of flying ships, I might as well decide at least ones get which of the names that made the cut."

Dawn was a mite annoyed with how only one of her name ideas had made the cut, but she was going to respect the vote. However, that doesn't mean she's going to be completely over-spoken in terms of determining everything else. She'll decide which flying ships get what names that made the cut, and she'll also have say in who gets assigned to the crews of what flying ships, although she will still respect choices in some cases.

Out of the eleven captured and repurposed flying ships, three were bigger than The Brave Olivine but smaller than The Big Beauty, being halfway between those two in terms of size. The other eight flying ships were all the same size as The Brave Olivine. Using that fact as a base, Dawn was able to start giving names to the flying ships from the list of names that had made the cut.

"The three medium sized flying ships will get the names The Reborn Hero, The Gokai Galleon, and The Thousand Sunny," Dawn said as she walked around the makeshift ship yard for the flying ships in Sunyshore City with Salvia, Freesia, James and Meowth, Mitch, and Paul, "The other eight flying ships, which are all standard sized flying ships according to what Salvia had told me, will get the other names that had made the cut."

"Which flying ship will get which name specifically?" Meowth asked.

"The flying ships are the exact same in terms of layout among those of the same size," Freesia pointed out, "It doesn't matter in the long term which standard sized flying ship gets what name that is slated for the standard sized flying ships, nor does it matter which medium sized flying ship gets what name that is slated for the flying ships of their size."

Salvia nodded in confirmation. "So who do you have in mind for the crews of the flying ships under your command, Admiral Dawn?"

Dawn had to admit she felt kind of... strong... being referred to as Admiral. "...Well actually, I was thinking of asking James if he'd be down with being assigned as Captain of The USS Enterprise, once that name is assigned to its destined flying ship."

James, and to a lesser degree Meowth, looked surprised. "You... you want me to be one of the ones made into a Captain in your fleet?" James asked, sounding an even mix of honored, surprised, and a little bit humbled actually.

Dawn nodded in the affirmative. "Yes, I believe that you can effectively lead things in a flying ship under your command," Dawn replied, "Assuming that you think you can handle it."

"Will I be allowed to bring Meowth along as my first officer?" James asked.

"Technically I'm a Pokémon under your ownership, James," Meowth pointed out, "So I'm pretty sure you'll be able to bring me along."

Dawn gave another affirmative nod. "Yes, you'll be able to bring Meowth along, James. You'll also get to review those recruited to join the fleet as crew members, get to have a say in who serves under you on board of The USS Enterprise."

"Is there anything else about the crews of the flying ships that you have in mind?" Salvia asked.

"Yes," Dawn said, "Kenny asked that he be made Captain of The Jelly-Filled Donut. He originally was going to ask to be made Captain of The Thousand Sunny, but some of the recruits to the members of the fleet made him reconsider that. Kenny had also asked that, while Captain of The Jelly-Filled Donut, he gets to bring Mina along, plus Brock and Ash. I reminded him that Brock and Ash both have to go home to Kanto, but Mina is allowed to follow him to The Jelly-Filled Donut."

It failed to surprise Dawn in the least that the name The Jelly-Filled Donut had made the cut for the names that will be given to the captured and repurposed flying ships. It was the name that Dawn had (questionably) allowed Kenny to give to the flying ship they had in the Team Scorn timeline, and it was the name of the flying ship in the Team Heart timeline here that Kenny wanted to be made the Captain of. Things seem to be coming full circle.

"Hey Admiral," Mitch began, "Didn't you say Jazmina was going to be assigned to Captain a ship?"

"Oh yeah, I was planning to assign her as Captain of The Reborn Hero," Dawn began, "Or, if she's not up for one of the larger flying ships, her choice of the standard sized flying ships that don't already have a Captain. Why do you ask?"

"Mitch believes that Admiral Dawn made excellent choice in making Jazmina a Captain," Mitch began, "Jazmina is good person who knows how to lead. She will make excellent Captain."

Dawn nodded in understanding. "Trip asked that he be made Captain of The Gokai Galleon, says that he'll even get a special coat for the role," Dawn went on.

Arching a wry eyebrow, Paul asked, "You mean that red colored long sleeved pirate long coat?"

It didn't surprise Dawn in the least that Trip would have gotten such a coat. Dawn even bet that it was going to be a spot on replica of a certain other coat worn by a certain Captain of a certain other Gokai Galleon. "...My friends and other crew members have produced results that can't be argued with," Dawn said, "Despite how some can occasionally be... eccentric at times."

"I think that 'eccentric' is Kenny's default setting," Freesia remarked, "With all due respect."

"Yeah I can totally see that," Dawn replied, "As well as totally agree with it. But there's still no denying how good Kenny is."

"If Kenny's eccentricness is a measure of how strong of a trainer he is," Paul said, "Then I'd feel sorry for Team Heart were they not a villainous empire that has to be brought down once and for all."

"Team Heart is very foul and must be cleared away," Mitch said, "And who better to do the clearing than goods heroes like us, eh?" Den chittered in agreement as he sat perched on Mitch's shoulder, as the named shiny Dedenne always is.

"Hey Mitch, aren't you familiar with that Jazmina woman?" Freesia asked, "Wouldn't you want to transfer to her ship because of that?"

"Depending on how many people we're able to recruit to the fleet," Dawn began, "I could give that option to Mitch if he wants. I do know that Mitch and Jazmina are friends. But if things don't go as brightly as I'd like, then respectfully I'll have to keep Mitch on The Big Beauty."

"Mitch values duty to one's role," Mitch said, "Mitch will not forsake his charge, even if the chance to follow old friends pop up. But Mitch is grateful you consider granting the option to follow Jazmina if things prove fruitful enough in recruitment."

Dawn nodded once in agreement before the group stopped as they were met up by Reggie, Paul's older brother who had recently been freed from prison that he was thrown into without any real reason whatsoever. "Sorry to intrude Dawn," Reggie began, "But the members of Ericson's Company are all now aware that you have a fleet of flying ships at your command."

Dawn could already tell where this was going. "Oh you have got to be kidding me."

...

Reggie led the group that Dawn was in to where the members of Ericson's Company were all being held, with Zed and Chandler being particularly active. "What the hell is going on?" Dawn asked.

The members of Ericson's Company all focused on Dawn who had spoken up. "It had been brought to my attention that you are now in command of a fleet of flying ships," Zed said, "As your direct superior, I order you to yield command of the fleet to me so that I ma- HURK!"

Zed was cut off via an elbow jab to the side of his ribcage. "No, it's me who is her direct superior," Chandler said, "She will turn over command of the flying ship fleet to me!"

"The both of you are gonna be detained here in Sinnoh and not allowed near anything being used for efforts against Team Heart," Dawn pointed out, a dry, unamused look on her face, "Physical force has been authorized as a potential method to keep you two in check if need be. And by no means are EITHER of you two idiots my 'direct superior'. If either of you try to order me around, you'll find out how far Tsukune can chuck you if it gets pissed off enough."

"But this is the greatest part in the military force that Sinnoh has," Zed said, "You have to let us have some degree of command within it!"

"I'd sooner let one of the capture foreign region Champions we're still holding here in Sinnoh have any degree of command on any of the flying ships in the fleet," Dawn began, feeling like she was about to go on a rant, "Every time either of you are in a position of command over forces to lead into battle, the both of you screw up so much and in so spectacular of a fashion that your enemies win the conflict because you do their work for them!"

Gesturing wildly to Zed and Chandler, Dawn went on, "It actually still has me rather astounded that the both of you are still alive, given how prideful, egotistical, and just downright friggin' incompetent the both of you are! By all rights the both of you should have long since died or gotten killed due to your pride, ego, and incompetence ALWAYS acting up! If you guys REALLY want to do something to help, then sit down, shut up, and stay the hell out of the way of everyone else!"

"Well while all of that criticism is true when applied to Zed, by no means is any of it true if you try to apply it to me," Chandler remarked.

"No, it's only true if applied to you, but none of it's true if attempted to be applied to me," Zed said, "And surly we're not THAT bad, even if at our worst."

"Sinnoh was attacked and invaded by Team Heart forces from outside of the region because the two of you failed to follow the orders of NOT letting Team Heart know that you and the rest of Ericson's Company are here in Sinnoh," James pointed out, both he and Meowth looking at Zed and Chandler with looks of utter unamusement, "Foreign Team Heart forces invaded the region, even managing to temporarily take the Battle Zone."

"People and Pokémon both had gotten killed because of the recent Team Heart invasion," Meowth said, anger seeping into his eyes as he looked up at Zed and Chandler, "An invasion that happened because of you two forgetting that Team Heart wasn't supposed to know that you and the rest of your group are here in Sinnoh."

"But the invasion DID let Sinnoh get some flying ships," Chandler said, "That wouldn't have occurred without the invasion, so we DID help, meaning we ARE entitled to come command within the flying ship fleet that Sinnoh now has because we're the reason Sinnoh even has that fleet."

"He's got a point," Zed said, "I should be made Supreme Commander of the flying ship fleet, while Chandler here can be my-"

"YOU TWO BOTH GOT PEOPLE AND POKÉMON KILLED!" Dawn yelled, cutting Zed off in the process, "ALL BECAUSE YOU JUST HAVE TO BE IN CHARGE OF EVERYTHING! HERE'S A NEWS FLASH FOR YOU TWO IDIOTS! YOU DON'T ALWAYS HAVE TO BE THE ONES IN CHARGE!"

Silence rang out for a few moments, all eyes looking shocked at Dawn. Noise resumed after a few moments when Chandler said, "...Yes we do. Well, I have to always be in charge, Zed doesn't."

"No, I have to always be in charge, it's not necessary for Chandler," Zed spoke up instantly.

"It's nothing but an endless loop for you two idiots, isn't it?" Dawn asked. She then called for some guards to have Zed and Chandler taken away to hidden cells and not permitted anything. Zed and Chandler still have to be protected from Team Heart, but that doesn't mean Dawn has to be nice and hospitable about it.

After the complete and total loads were taken and put away, Dawn faced the group she was in to address them. "I still haven't named the eleven flying ships we've gotten yet, I just have the list of the eleven names that had made the cut," Dawn began, "But after the names are given, you guys wanna check out what all there is on board of the flying ships?"

"That'll be a hoot and a holler," Reggie remarked as he followed the rest of the group to go check out the captured and repurposed flying ships.

After the flying ships were checked out and given their names, Dawn and the reborn trainers wanted to look over what all stuff was taken off of the flying ships when they were still Team Heart vessels. During that checking out of stuff, Dawn found a relatively newly made looking copy of the Team Heart law book that's the edition made for Kalos; it showed the same very obese girl on the cover shaking hands with another, equally obese girl.

Dawn also found a copy of the Team Heart law book that's the edition for the Paldea region; the same very obese girl was shown shaking hands with an elderly man. From that, Dawn figured that the Admin in charge of the Paldea Sector of Team Heart was a victim of Ageism. For the purposes of collection and figuring that it may have some historical value, Dawn took the Kalosian copy and the Paldean copy of the Team Heart law book.

All of the books that were on board of the eleven flying ships when they were still Team Heart vessels were all in one place; similarly all furniture that was on those ships were also removed and put in one place, all of the removeable furnishings were removed and put in one place. Basically, an entire area of the location where the flying ship fleet was all parked looked like one big ol' rummage sale, and Dawn was looking for some finds.

Among the removed furniture items were a big ol' plush black leather armchair and a papasan chair, although the papasan chair was somewhat smaller than the one Dawn had in her bedroom on board of The Big Beauty. There was also some weird model of chair where the person sitting on it was more like kneeling and it (supposedly) helped with posture by more or less making them sit up straight, a coffee table that has a glass surface set in a wood frame, a water bed, and, surprisingly enough, another giant wooden spool.

Among the other items removed from the flying ships, there were extra clothing items. To Dawn's lack of surprise, some of the clothing items removed from the flying ships that came from Kalos had more than a few X's before the L on the size tags. Dawn also found a few pairs of Tripp pants that were either black with pink threading or pink with black threading, a few hooded ponchos, and at least a couple of hockey jerseys.

Among all of the removed furnishings were some fake potted plants, three posters of young adult ladies in sexy poses on the beach with one of those girls being very obese, a carved wooden figure of a non-transformed Palafin looking like it's leaping out of the water also the figure is at least a foot tall, a scimitar, a box full of various fidget toys, a sizable collection of good quality pocket knives, and a sheriff badge that simply said 'Sheriff'.

All in all, the captured flying ships showed that the previous crews had... elect tastes, to say the least. Dawn and the other reborn trainers decided to take what all they felt like having, with Dawn getting priority due to her status. After Dawn and the other reborn trainers got what all they wanted, the rest of the goods were sold in an actual rummage sale, with all profits being donated to those who lost loved ones and Pokémon in the recent invasion of Sinnoh by Team Heart.

...

After the call for recruitment was sent out, calling for as many able bodied trainers as possible, enough recruits were drummed up to permit the flying ships to all have full, decent sized crews, all roles on each flying ship taken care of. To Dawn's surprise, Kenny introduced her to the persons who, back in the Team Scorn timeline, were the officer staff of the Strawhat Sector of Team Scorn. They all wore a mix of casual, non-villainous outfits.

"Yeah, they're all good guys here," Kenny whispered to Dawn, "And I think that they can be trusted to crew one of the flying ships. I say put them in charge of The Thousand Sunny."

Stepping forward, Dee said, "I would like for at least some measure of real justice to be done to avenge the raw deal dealt to my late brother Ace, if that's alright with you, Champion Dawn."

Dawn remembered what Dee did back in the Team Scorn timeline, and she wanted to avoid as much unnecessary death as possible. "...I'll have a proper investigation team thrown together to look into the matter," Dawn said, "And I'll also want details from you. But we are pressed for both time as well as a need for as many pairs of able bodied hands as possible."

Gesturing to Dee and the rest of his crew, Dawn went on, "If you and your fellows here are all willing to work one of the flying ships, if you all are willing to take the risk of the work that we're about to be doing, then I'll gladly welcome you." It still struck Dawn as odd to see persons who, back in the Team Scorn timeline, were bad guys, but now are good guys due to however things had played out here in the Team Heart timeline.

Within due time, the flying ships all got the full crews that they respectively needed. Some persons from The Big Beauty transferred to other ships in the fleet, mostly to help lead and supervise things. This saw Trip go to The Gokai Galleon, Kenny go to The Jelly-Filled Donut also he took Mina along with him, and James plus Meowth go to The USS Enterprise. They knew that, assuming Team Heart falls in the end, these transfers were only temporary.

There was also how Dee as well as the rest of his crew made up a sizable portion of the overall crew of The Thousand Sunny. Additionally, when Reggie was made Captain of The Black Pearl, Paul had asked Dawn if he could transfer to The Black Pearl so he could work alongside his older brother, who still had recently gotten out of prison which Reggie was put into due to factors that he had no control over or even any knowledge of.

Dawn, seeing the need Paul had to care for his family, agreed, but she did remind Paul that he had to do his part when the fighting was brought to Team Heart's front door step. "Heh, do you even have to ask me to do that?" Paul asked, an amused looking smirk on his face as he regarded his Admiral, "There's no way that I won't do all I can to help bring down Team Heart once and for all."

"When you're fighting Team Heart," Dawn said, "Don't be afraid to show them a little of the attitude of, as Kenny would put it, pre-redemption arc Paul. Team Heart are villains and if they don't agree to play nice, then they don't deserve mercy."

Paul nodded in the affirmative. "I can also use a little of my prior attitude to psyche Team Heart out. It wouldn't be the first time that I did something similar to that."

Dawn nodded in agreement. "We're gonna need every advantage in the book if we're to help bring down Team Heart," Dawn remarked, "They have done too much and have been a thing for too long. They have GOT to go, preferably sooner as opposed to later."

"I would argue that some of the members of Ericson's Company have got to go," Paul said, "And by that I mean the utter loads that are the reason Sinnoh was invaded in the first place. If it weren't for how all of Ericson's Company are under protection by Sinnoh's government, I'd be strongly tempted to save Team Heart some trouble, if you know what I mean."

Giving another nod of agreement, Dawn replied, "Paul, I'd be among the first people to agree with you on that. Hell, Kenny told me he's cooking up ideas to make things happening to Chandler and Zed look like accidents."

Leaning in close to Dawn, Paul whispered, "Let him know that I'd be down to help him if he wants it." Dawn gave an agreeing nod before she saw Paul off to gather his things from The Big Beauty before he moved to The Black Pearl to work under Reggie. After that, things took about another hour or so before the flying ship fleet was ready.

When it was, twelve flying ships total took up into the air, all of them symbols of the hope for the world to all know freedom from a tyrannical empire that has over half of the world firmly under its thumb. There is a save haven in Kalos where the flying ship fleet can fly to, Kalosian Team Heart forces are too embroiled in the ongoing Kalosian Revolution to do much of anything to keep what all forces Dawn was leading over.

The world's rebellion against Team Heart had just begun. By the time that things were done, at an absolute minimum things... weren't gonna be clean. It was going to be grim, brutal work, but it had to be done, for if Team Heart isn't stopped, then who knows what will happen.

END, CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN

Author's notes;

This chapter shows that the heroes are still in shock over Professor Yvonne being outed as the true Boss of Team Heart. With Yvonne running and hiding and Bianca out of commission due to an attempt on her life, the effort of managing Team Heart troops falls to the Admins. But things are looking up for the heroes.

Dawn and the others are soon alerted to how eleven flying ships where captured, cleared of all Team Heart taint, and even given new paint jobs. This allows for the heroes to use the flying ships in their efforts against Team Heart. As all of the flying ships had come from her country originally, it is Salvia who gains ownership of them.

But Saliva doubts her ability to command troops, so for at least until Team Heart is defeated once and for all, command of the flying ships is turned over to Dawn. This effectively gives Dawn her own fleet to command. Dawn agrees, and even makes The Big Beauty (which she's still keeping) the flag ship of the (temporary) flying ship fleet.

Dawn then brainstormed some ideas for names for the eleven other flying ships with Kenny, Trip, and Mina. The combined twenty names the four reborn trainers came up with are voted on with the crew of The Big Beauty and various friends. Somehow, all of Kenny's ideas made the cut. With the names voted on, Dawn gets to naming the flying ships.

She also has to assign crew to some of them, and assigns James as Captain of one of them if he wants it. There's a drive to drum up recruits, and Kenny somehow brings in the persons who were the officer staff members for the Strawhat Sector of Team Scorn back in the Team Scorn timeline, but here in the Team Heart timeline, Dee and his crew are good guys.

When the crews are finalized, the fleet gets ready to head on out. There's some bad guys that they have to go deal with, and it'll see a grand battle in which the fate of the whole world hangs in the balance. Whether or not the heroes will succeed is yet to be seen, but that will be settled within very short order. Until then, take care.
