*Few days after the wedding

The day of their date started off amazingly.

From morning, they went to the grocery store to pick up supplies to prepare their meal at the beach. At some point, as they were browsing through the store, Franny jumped into the shopping cart with food and shrieks in glee as Jacob rolled it with a sprint of his legs once she sat down.

After they paid at the cash, they got home and dropped off Billy's grocery and made their lunch for their date, a few sandwiches and some soup. Once done, they drove to Emily's house to pick some of her muffins for their meal. Had to slap away a few hands from the pack who were trying to steal them as they did, including their picnic basket. Jacob packed it up while Franny went to the bathroom.

Closing the basket, he took it and took his jacket from the chair to go and start the car. H froze to a stop when he heard the sound that would strike his heart down in disappointment.

Thunder.

How Forks' weather finds the worst timing of all as he heard thunder rolling through the sky and then rain started pouring down through the yard.

"What?" He mutters in disbelief and scrunches his face then tilts his head up, forcing himself not to scream as the boys watched in both amusement and slight pity. But

Franny walks out of the bathroom and stood by Jacob's side, both were looking outside.

He glances at her then gestures outside with a defeated smile on his face. He turned to give back the muffins to Emily but was stopped when the light suddenly shined again through the window.

Looking behind, he saw Franny standing by the porch with her back facing him. He steps forward and crooked his head to look at the sky.

Not a rain cloud in sight.

Only clear blue skies with the sun visible.

Franny looks over her shoulder and a huge grin appears on her face. She bounces on her feet to him to take the basket from his hand, unbothered by the shocked look on his face before leaving through the front door to the car. Not wasting any second to delay their date.

The pack groups together to the porch to look outside in astonishment before their heads follow in sync to Jacob, either afraid or wanting an explanation from him.

A smile broke his face as he only shrugs. Looking back to the car, his smile widened, and he took off to join her in the car.

As they drove, Franny blasted the radio of the car's stereo, and they sang along through a few songs.

She opened the window when she saw that beach was in view and stuck her head out, wanting to feel the sea air hitting her face, she closed her eyes and let's smell of the ocean welcome her nose.

Jacob would sneak a few glances, loving that his imprint was enjoying the scenery of his hometown.

They parked their car and settled a blanket on the beach, marking their place before they headed to the rocky tidepools that Franny wanted to explore.

Jacob found an octopus and presented it to her, she laughed as she touched its tentacles with her finger and pulled her face away when he held it close to her head.

By lunch time, they got out their meal and talked about anything that comes to their mind. Their families, interests and even their goals. Anything that was either pack or coven related was strictly off the table. Just as Jacob had hoped for.

No distractions of the supernatural. No coven duties, patrols or leeches.

Just him, taking the girl of his dreams on a normal, awkward, teenagers' date.

They went back to tide pooling some more, they came to a site where Jacob would go with his buddies to cliff dive on a safer height that the younger locals mostly use, suggesting if she wanted to give it a try.

Without warning, she took off her sundress to reveal bikini top and swim shorts.

His eyes followed the flawless skin on her back and down to her legs. After moments of shamelessly admiring her, she turns around to place her folded clothes and rainboots on the ground. Walking passed him as she did, giving him a vixen's glance, knowing full well what his mind was up to judging by the smirk on his face.

A copied expression on her face was visible for a second before she dropped it, innocently walking up to him.

He stepped towards her until chests were nearly touching, locking their eyes with one another. His head bent down carefully when his eyes finally landed on her mouth, but before he could even feel the morsel touch of her lips, a huge grin broke and she sprinted away from him, jumping from the ledge.

A look of betrayal was shown, and he licked the insides of his mouth before he ran after her, running to the ledge and jumped into the ocean.

Once he swam to the surface, the magical sounds of his imprint's laugh welcomed his ears once the water came out. He looks behind and sees Franny swimming away from him, he chases after her.

Once they got to the shores, he sprinted after her once she broke into a run, playing chase with him. She shrieks and squeals as he chases after her and dodges a few times, playfully acting like he almost got her.

They knew that he was faster than that, but he figured he'd give her a normal experience of a human date.

Once he caught her, he lifts her over his shoulder and twirls her around, earning another shriek from the black-haired witch.

Once he put her back on her feet, he wraps his arm around her shoulder to hold her by against his side and kissed the top of her head as strolled down to get their things seeing that it was almost time to leave.

They drove back home and greeted Paul, who was coming out of the house. Rachel was there to see him out but not before Jacob sent him a look when he saw Paul`s smug face. Luckily, Franny broke their staring contest when she announced that she needed help to unload trunk.

With Paul gone, it was only the Franny and Black family in the house. After dinner, Rachel helped Billy to his room and Franny and Jacob took resident in the living room to watch some tv before Jacob left for his shift. They stopped at a horror film that was showing.

Franny was invested at the part of the final girl hiding from the killer that her attention was broke when she heard soft snoring beside her ear. She looked over and smiled when she saw her wolf had fallen asleep with his head laid back on the couch near her shoulder.

She lifted the blanket they were sharing up to his shoulder and leaned over to kiss his forehead.

*2 weeks later

"Remind me again why I'm here?"

Franny chuckles as she passes a cola to the ever-brooding Leah who distant herself away from where Emily and Sam are as much as possible.

"Because I asked, and you didn't say no." She quipped and sat beside her.

Leah hums acknowledgment and opens her cola.

From afar, Jacob and Seth still couldn't believe the scene before them.

"Are you sure she didn't cast a spell or something cause that is freaking me out." Seth said, never taking his eyes of his sister, who rarely laughs or got along with anyone since before Emily and Sam were engaged. "So she's really moving here?"

Jacob nodded. "Applied to Forks High and everything. Senior year."

"How did she convince her folks to let her move out?" Embry asked and sat next to them.

"Well, she won't be alone for starters." Jacob explains. "Her aunt and some of her relatives are moving in with her. After she comes back anyway." A soft downcast look appeared on his face.

"A week or two right?" Seth said. "Family business?"

"Family affairs." Jacob corrects him. "There are. . . a lot of people who don't approved of this."

"You mean approve of you?" Embry smirks at him.

"Come on man," Jacob says with an annoyed smile and his friend lifts a hand of peace.

A moment of silence broke until Embry looked at him. "But uh. . . I'm really happy for you, you know? Franny. . . she's amazing."

They looked back to the saying girl and watched as she laughed at whatever Leah was telling

"Seriously, what did she do?" Seth mutters as they continue to watch his sister smiling. "Bribed her or something?"

Jacob's face softens as he looks at Franny. He thinks about how lucky he is to have her in his life now. His eyes gleamed as he watched her gasped exarate when Claire and Quil passed by. Claire ran up to the blue-eyed witch, showing her the colored rocks that Quil found for her. Quil looked betrayed when the toddler refused to part away from Franny that the older girl thought it would be funny to hold on to his imprint and hugs her tightly in her arms to tease him.

"Come on! You had your time!" Quil he shot a frown at her.

"Nope," Franny stood up with Claire in her arms. "She's mine!"

"Claire, you wanna come with me?" The boy asked the toddler, arms opened for her to reach but she kept her hold on her new favorite person.

"Noooooo." Claire says, drawing out the word and Franny laughs in victory.

"Come here!" He grunts and mocks a fall to make Claire laugh.

The toddler squealed as Franny takes her away from him and laughed at his mocked determined face as he chases them around the beach.

Jacob couldn't stop smiling at his imprint's game. This, this was what happiness was supposed to be like, to see her smile was the only thing that he needed to live for.

He couldn't wait to spend the rest of his life to be by her side.
