Carlos Pov:
"Everyone asked me about my choice to leave Auradon to spend time with my father who despite caring for me, is what everyone describes as a metal-armed mad scientist hellbent on taking over a city and proving himself to be the smartest man on Earth. I mean, I was raised by my mom who was a madwoman who could scare anyone with one look. I'm doing this because I want to be a better inventor and learn how to stabilize a way for everyone else back home to learn how to adapt here. Despite our last visit that almost caused both worlds to crash into each other, there are so many secrets that connect this world to Auradon. While I could have gone to Mal's uncle to help learn more about it, this type of research requires science and the right minds to learn about the connection between our two worlds."

Hiding from the public and using advanced equipment to remain undetected. Carlos De Vile was in the laboratory of Otto Octavius, also known as Doctor Octopus to that of his father who he'd share his intelligence. Due to his good behavior and not trying to break out of the Raft, Octavius managed to leave prison and continue with his work. But was monitored with an ankle bracelet designed by SHIELD to monitor him for any criminal activity, the only thing that he's been up to is spending time with his son.
"While I'm impressed with your work in assisting in making new equipment for colleagues of mine who have decided to change their career from senseless crimes to personal issues with their lives. I did not agree with you letting your dog make my lab its house."
Otto spoke out as he was walking into his lab to see dog toys lying across the floor as well as food near his closet that held his uniforms. Walking in to check on his son's inventions, he didn't notice Dude rushing past him and leaping up onto Carlo's lap.
"Sorry. It's not exactly easy to take Dude outside of the block either getting into a turf war or some supervillain trying to rob a grocery store."
Carlos responded with how unpredictable the city was unlike his home where the villains had a place to call home and do their crimes and antics. The city works differently with costume people running around the neighborhood getting into fights and making a simple day into a show.
"Those are people who think they can do whatever they want because they're wearing a mask, I. On the other hand am an intellectual mastermind who would commit crimes from the shadows and have underlings do it."
Explaining his actions to Carlos on what made him a superior criminal to the ones on the news who try to make a name for themselves. His moment was interrupted by Dude, who jumped into his arms and tried to get comfortable near Otto and barking at the same time.
"He says 'You're a good dad'. It stinks that he can't say it verbally because that gummy I made for Mal wore off. Luckily, I managed to make something to help him speak without needing magic."
Informing Otto about how Dude's ability to talk had left after he was allowed to bring his companion with him. Going over to his table where he'd worked on inventions that he couldn't make in Auradon, Carlos pulled out a collar that would allow him to speak like he did before coming here. He asked his dad to bring Dude over as Carlos placed the collar around his friend's neck, it took a couple of minutes before getting the collar to match Dude's barking and waits to hear his friend's voice again.
"Does this collar make me look fat?"
Dude asked the two about how the collar made him look which left the pair laughing at the success of Carlos's invention. Just as his son was patting Dude on giving back his ability to speak, Otto decided to look at the rest of his inventions that would help his friends back home he decided to leave. The eight-armed scientist noticed a sketched-out blueprint of what appeared to be a wristband that seemed to work on creating a protective shield around a person.
"That's not worth looking at Dad. I'll just throw it out since it wouldn't work at all."
Carlos told Otto about the blueprint he was looking at as the white-haired VK took the sketch away before the scientist had the chance to get a proper look at the blueprint. It didn't work as the doctor placed his tentacle in front of him and had the other open its claw to let him see it for himself, having no choice but to give him the blueprint to see what he wanted to invent. Studying the design and what it was capable of, he looked over at Carlos with a questionable glare on his face.
"You're trying to stabilize a way for others to be on another Earth without causing a tear. Aren't you?"
Questioning his son's intention on what the device he was inventing as he was informed by Doctor Strange that it was dangerous to bring people here could cause the stability of their world to tear open. The VK looked upset with him finding out about his device since there was a reason behind it despite the dangers that could come from it.
"The reason why the tears happened in the first place was because we got curious. The fact that my mom found someone to have a relationship with surprises me, especially when it comes to the other villains back home. Half of the residents don't know who else their parents are. I thought it would be possible to make a stable device to allow someone to come and visit without causing anything bad to happen."
Carlos told him that the reason he wanted to make the wristband was to help others like himself and his friends learn about the kids on the Isle of the Lost to find their other parents. Otto could feel much emotion in his words about wanting to help people who grew up with one parent while questioning the other's disappearance, he also understood the risks Carlos would go through to make his wish happen.
"Intelligence isn't a privilege, it's a gift. A gift to be used for the good of mankind. Something I'd forgotten in the past when others used me for their work, which left me to end up what people would consider me as. A monster."
Otto gave him advice about the importance of how people like them can use the betterment of science for the common good or be the result of someone's ambition to lead them into a different life. Carlos felt sorry for his father in the condition he ended up in and not knowing what he'd endured in the years while he and Cruella were on the Isle of the Lost. His son was about to suggest an invention to work on before Dude's head lifted and started barking frantically.
"People are here! People are here!"
Shouting frantically as the mutt was moving around to see whoever was visiting them. This made Otto's expression change from remorseful to serious as there were several people he'd given his information on where he lived, and most of them weren't fond of him. Using one of his tentacles to put Carlos somewhere safe and went toward the door to see who would want to visit him. He checked his security system to see his defenses destroyed and taken apart and noticed something that piqued his interest.
"Those are bite marks. Familiar bite marks."
Commenting on where he'd seen those bites before heading to the door where it slid upwards leaving him unprepared for whoever might have found his base. Dude rushed outside to see who it was as the canine's attention went upward toward something that caught his curiosity.
"Do dogs grow this big around this place? And this red? And have white eyes?"
The dog asked his owner's father about the growth spurt of the dogs around the neighborhood as Dude was quickly picked up by none other than Princess. Carefully holding him by his fur, the large symbiote wolf entered Otto's laboratory where she was carrying her father Wade, and her sister Elle who were both wearing their costumes since this was a professional visit.
"Hi, Octi. Carlos, looking more like your old man than ever with this science around you. Just don't be making anything that'll destroy the city, except a playmate for my girl."
Wade greeted the pair before having Princess place Dude back down as she took a moment to walk toward Carlos as the wolf sniffed the VK. He didn't move or attempt to ask Wade to move the wolf away since she had large teeth and could bite him if he did anything wrong, what he didn't suspect was Princess licking him in a friendly gesture leaving him covered in her drool.
"I don't know you, but you have my brother's scent on you. Which makes you a friend."
She told Carlos and nodded to avoid either being licked to tackled by the large wolf. Otto groans in annoyance at this abrupt arrival and looks at Wilson to see the reason for this unexpected visit.
"Now then, while I don't like interrupting a bonding between a kid and his parent since I got a bundle myself. I need Carlos's help in inviting my son and his friends over to congratulate him on his marriage."
Explaining the reason for being here and needing Carlos's help in bringing Trickster and the others here. The sentence made his heart skip a beat at the idea of doing what he had discussed with Otto, without saying a word the doctor lashed out at Wade, where he held him upward at the wall and keeping him pinned before showing a blade at his face.
"I'm trying to keep my vocabulary restrained since my son and your daughters are here. But suggesting he make another tear into our world has me thinking of another way to show my aggression toward this idea. Bodily harm."
Otto responded to Wade making Carlos attempt to open a tear to Auradon that risks endangering both worlds after he was told about his friends having torn ripples from their world into his and causing chaos across both of them. His son went over to Otto and attempted to reason with him about not harming Wade.
"Wait! We should hear him out at least, and I'd to keep Dude seeing something that could scar him for life."
He pleaded with him to not tear the mutant apart in of him and Dude as well as the girls since it would lead up to a fight amongst the trio that could destroy the laboratory. Seeing the look on his son's face and the others, Octavius restrains himself places Deadpool on the ground, and retracts his tentacles away.
"I was planning on bringing up the issue of you owing me for almost bringing back a deranged psychopath and having it changed to Princess. But I'll ignore it since Carlos is interested enough to hear my reason for seeing my boy and new daughters-in-law."
Wade brought up that Otto was responsible for making Princess after he was involved with an enemy of his to revive a madman who would take over the planet. Luckily, the experiment was a failure which resulted in Princess's birth and becoming a member of Deadpool's family. With how Wade announced his reason in an abrupt gesture, Elle decided to handle the conversation since she had a sense of sanity more than her father.
"Besides having considered the most messed up childhood in my life, there's someone who might share that with me in your world. I was against the idea of meeting him since half of my dad's clones and 'kids' ended up trying to kill him. I want to meet him myself and see if we share any similarities with Deadpool."
His daughter explained to Carlos that the one thing that she and Trick shared was having a childhood experience that changed them from ordinary kids to dangerous individuals who could dismember someone if they talked badly about their family. He had a few minutes to think about working on his experiment, looking at Otto to see if he'd be against this offer of Wade since it would lead to another interdimensional crisis. He said nothing since this was a moment to see if Carlos could use science for the good of the people around him rather than just for himself.
"I'm just saying if there was a way to do it. Will need someone who won't make a big impact, someone who isn't powerful without getting noticed by anyone. Has to not be visible to anyone."
Carlos responded on the means of sending someone to inform Trick and the others about being invited over to see Deadpool and the others. Wade smiled at the idea of who they could be sent there without making any trouble, he looked over at Princess who had a small box on her back as she kept it hidden from everyone since it was carrying something special and important to the trio.
"A while ago, Shiklah had tried to speak with Trick about a new dating partner in her life. She tried to send something to help in a sense to know that no matter who she dates, she'll love him. So, she sent it to me since I knew how to get to him."
Wade informed him as he grabbed the box and walked it over to Carlos and Otto to see who would be traveling to Auradon. Taking a peek inside the box and hearing the sound of snoring, both men looked at the mutant to see if he was serious about sending this individual to Auradon to find Trickster.
"Don't hate. Appreciate, because if this little guy can't find him. Then Trick will, we Wilsons have a thing for cute and dangerous things."
He informed the pair about how what was inside the box would draw his attention or the other way around once the creature inside was set out into Auradon. Otto turned to Carlos to see what the move would be since he'd wanted to show him the blueprint that involved making a collar that had something significant that represented the world he came from and giving it a shield to protect the user.
"It was pure luck that how I got here without causing a tear to open. I think it was because of the jewel I brought with me when I got it from my Jewelbilee."
Carlos explained that when he decided to see his father by himself and thought about avoiding another incident that could danger both lands. He used his birthright jewel to create a prototype belt that would enable him to travel through the same tree his friends used to travel here except without any consequences.
"The metal I used back home wasn't exactly state of the art since Auradon isn't advanced like this place is. I can make something our friend could wear and allow him to travel back without making a tear."
Informing them with the right metal and materials he had to create a functional belt for their passenger, so there wouldn't be any issues with traveling. Having that said and looking at Wade who was excited about the idea working, he told the girls to help Carlos with making the device so they could meet their new family members. Otto didn't show any emotion for this experiment as he considered this a test for his son to see if he could avoid the mistake he made when using science for the betterment of others, as well as be seen as a friend then a foe.
Unknown Realm
With there being many worlds and realms residing against each other. One, in particular, had been considered dangerous and not permitted to travel into without knowing what lies within it. The realm was called Mojoverse, ruled by a deranged and self-proclaimed 'producer' of television programs. He has hosted demented games to entertain his workers and others from across the universe to feed his hunger for attention and popularity, only for it to be dwindling for the last several years. Within a fortress that was designed after Mojo's face, there was a situation that was happening from within.
"Domo!"
A voice shouted out a name in anger and distress as it came from the creature who ruled the realm. Coming into the room an elderly man with grey hair and robotic hands walked in showing no fear from his master since he'd spent centuries serving under him, even at his weakest moments.
"You called?"
He asked his leader what the issue was as the emotionless man was looking at what was supposed to be the terror of the Mojoverse was now a shell of his former self. Standing on a set of metal legs and his back attached to a chair with wires linked to his arms and head, his body was skinny and showed no signs of having any muscle or of a stomach.
"Can you look at these ratings?! Their nothing! They're worse than nothing, their brain rot! And not in the good way that feeds me. I'm utterly ruined!"
Mojo complained that the previous shows and fights he'd made had done nothing but weaken him and leave him to lose his former physic. Grabbing the side of his wires and preparing to rip them out, Domo walked over to hand him a beverage to settle his nerves. The man watched his leader go off in a rant about what had been happening to his shows.
"Ever since my last show with the X-Men. My viewers have left me! They consider me 'standard'. I've tried everything, Avengers, Guardians, Nova Corps, and even Web Warriors. All those bastards are nothing more than reruns. And I hate reruns!"
Explaining that whenever he wanted to bring in new 'stars' to his shows and entertain everyone from across the universe. It was the same heroes that the people knew about whether it was someone carrying the mantle or the originals. Mojo walked to one of his portraits that showed an image of him being large and gluttonous while having a mass of fans looking up to him in being the interdimensional man who could turn anything into entertainment.
"I blame the internet and social media for doing this. All this canceling and posts about me being a menace to television have ruined my image. But what does it matter? My realm will go into chaos if I can't find anything to entertain them!"
Informing Domo that if he didn't find anything new and unique that wasn't like the people he brought from Earth to keep his world in check. They would start to rebel and overthrow him, leading up to everything Mojo had created to be brought down in flames. Domo was the only one in the room who wasn't fazed or bothered by his master's tantrum as he had an idea of how to solve this issue.
"Pardon me, oh marvelous Mojo. But I seem to have something that will interest you as well as the people of Mojoverse."
He brought up a solution for Mojo as the spinless one looked at his assistant in a desperate gesture to see Domo holding a disc in his hand. Walking over to a monitor to place the disc in, it showed the two a fight happening in New York City that involved the Avengers and Spider-Man fighting Fin Fang Foom.
"It's the same shit I just talked about Domo! Why I ought to make a new show involving making puppets, starting with you."
Mojo threatened his assistant for not providing him a solution but the same thing that his viewers considered boring. The screen suddenly changed to show something that caught his attention, Mal Bethra. The purple-haired girl as well as her friends aided the heroes in fighting the monster to that of fiery demons that neither Domo nor Mojo had seen before.
"While monitoring the planet for any new contenders to bring onto your shows. Our spies had managed to take a recording of this incident that happened two years ago, it showed these juveniles handling a set of dangerous individuals. Including the Grandmaster."
He listed the various people the girl and her friends had battled as it showed a montage of them fighting Sentinels, supervillains, and Hela, the goddess of death. Hearing about this and seeing the fights got the producer fascinated, but not before pulling out another disc that had information on a former contestant from Mojo's shows. Deadpool, Domo was able to get a scan of Wade's memories to show them a flashback of him meeting the gang as well as performing a song.
"Not only do they fight, but they also do free musical performances?! I love it! That's what shows need, not just the usual blood and violence but something that'll make the crowd cheer. Maybe that's what I need to get back to my former self. Domo!"
Shouting to his assistant to find a solution to make a new show that'll catch his viewer's attention to that of getting his strength back. Domo pulled out a remote from his pocket that was connected to the speakers in the room as it turned on a song from Earth that would suit someone like Mojo. The spineless one used a small ounce of his magic to change it which made the skinny creature feel the sensation, right to the point where he spun around with a smile on his face.
"When you're feeling, sad and low. I will take you where you want to go. Smiling and dancing, I will offer you. All you need is me on the screen."
Mojo sang while showing some vibrant movement while being skinny at the same time. Moving to the monitor screen where Domo stood, he started typing several keys that had the image show his workers staring at him and making them confused at what their leader was doing.
"Who's on the air? Mojo-vision! For the boys and the girls? Mojo-vision! For everyone in the world? Mojo-Vision!"
He told them about what was on air for their attention while dancing at the same time. Domo was conflicted with his master's performance as to what it would do for his people. Looking back at the screen, he saw one of the workers smiling at the sight of Mojo's ridiculous dancing.
"Slam it to the left, if you want a good time. Shake it to the right, if ya wanna be alive. Mojo is here to provide all you desire!"
Informing them about his show being the only source of entertainment if they wanted to continue to live in Mojoverse. Domo took out a scanner that was linked to Mojo's vitals and noticed a spike in his dancing, the crowd that watched him started to enjoy his vibrant movement and the music that was playing behind him.
"Slam it to the left, if you want a good time. Shake it to the right, if ya wanna be alive. Mojo is here to provide all you desire! Hai Si Ja. Showtime!"
Mojo informed them as it caused the workers to run out of their jobs and buildings to run over toward Mojo's stadium where the shows were hosted. Just as the screens showed the excitement of what Mojo was offering, came back at the ruler with his body regaining muscle and fatness. Noticing his body coming back, Mojo broke down his doors and spider-walked through the hallways where his guards noticed their master's erratic behavior.
"Superheroes are so, very passe. Aliens and monsters are, out of style. Violence and music is the form of art, all this I show you. Right on the screen."
Telling one of the guards who showed him a screen of the stadium filled with fans who wanted to see his new show. Domo gestured for the guards to head over toward the stadium to accept their money for seats since it would make Mojo rich while slowly becoming powerful again.
"Slam it to the left, if you want a good time. Shake it to the right, if ya wanna be alive. Mojo is here to provide all you desire!"
Singing in excitement while belly-bumping into two guardsmen who crashed into the walls. Not caring for what he did and continuing his dance, Domo followed his master where Mojo was heading to the stadium using a secret passageway.
"Slam it to the left, if you want a good time. Shake it to the right, if ya wanna be alive. Mojo is here to provide all you desire! Hai Si Ja. Showtime!"
Continuing the song before walking up to a set of stairs that led him to a command center where it showed a set of screens and numerous locations he'd used in the past. Mojo looked outside at the seats as they started to fill with thousands of people who cheered for him, which made him stronger and fatter.
"Lights, camera, action! All in my power! Time for a show with me and the crew. And let it be said, out with old and with the new!"
Announcing it to his subjects as he showed the VK on his jumbo screen which made them cheer about their abilities and singing. Just as he heard their praising, he had regained his former look of his bulbous self and enjoyed every second of it.
"Who's on the air? Mojo-vision! For the boys and the girls? Mojo-vision! For everyone in the world? Mojo-Vision!"
The crowd sang with him as it made the spinless one smile in a mad gesture that music and fighting were the way to stay in rule. Providing a small taste of what his audience would see, he summoned two creatures on the stage where they didn't know what was happening. Once they saw each other, they presumed to fight one another while fighting to the rhythm of the music.
"Slam it to the left, if you want a good time. Shake it to the right, if ya wanna be alive. Mojo is here to provide all you desire!"
He told them as the praise, the thrill, and that of his former status left Mojo to leap out of the command center where he smacks right in the middle of the stage. The creatures snarled at the large man and were about to attack him, only for Mojo to lift them by their necks and start to slowly choke them.
"Hai Si Ja. Showtime!"
Finishing his song by slamming the two into the ground where he killed them in an instant. With that final move and showing he was all-powerful, Mojo's crowd cheered for him which left the spineless one to all-powerful and ready to restart his show again. Watching their master smiling again and enjoying the people's attention, Domo as well as a woman with six arms and wearing samurai-styled armor watched the crowd wanting to see what Mojo had promised.
"Be prepared, Spiral. We're back on the air."
He warned her about what Mojo had planned for the young adults whenever he invited people to Mojoverse. They would never come back the same and would have to prepare for the worst type of entertainment that their deranged master has in store for them. Domo's scanner showed a spike in interdimensional traveling as someone was traveling to the VK's home world, leaving Spiral to wait for the right moment to get them all in one swoop. All in the name of show business.
The song used for the chapter was 'Spice Up Your Life' by the Spice Girls. More to come later on, until then. Hope everyone enjoys the holiday and I'll see you soon!
