This sprawling city, nestled amid rolling hills and alongside a picturesque waterfront, pulsated with life and energy. Skyscrapers pierced the sky like sentinels, their glass facades reflecting the golden hues of the setting sun, casting a warm and enchanting glow over the bustling streets below. It looked as if it was paradise on Earth but not all paradises are as perfect as they appear.

An explosion downtown made the city go into a panic, the citizens running away in a panic as the police were notified of the explosion.
Sirens wailed in the distance, growing louder as emergency responders rushed to the scene. The police, fire department, and paramedics were dispatched to assess the situation and provide assistance. The explosion had created chaos, and the air was filled with dust and debris, making it difficult for anyone to see clearly or breathe easily.
As first responders arrived on the scene, they set up a perimeter to keep onlookers at a safe distance and began their search for survivors and the cause of the explosion. Helicopters hovered overhead, capturing the unfolding scene from above while assisting in any potential rescues.
"This is Municiberg News live on the scene as an explosion has rocked the blissful downtown area!" A new reporter shouted as she and the cameraman watched from above.
The camera panned to capture the devastation and the first responders in action, highlighting the chaos and the efforts to maintain order. Smoke billowed from the site of the explosion, and debris was scattered in all directions.
The reporter continued, "It's still unclear what caused this explosion, and the priority right now is to ensure the safety of the residents and visitors who were in the area. We urge everyone to stay away from downtown as emergency personnel work tirelessly to assess the situation and provide aid to those in need."
As the camera zoomed in on the efforts of the emergency responders, the reporter's voice remained steady. "Our thoughts are with the people affected by this incident, and we'll continue to provide updates as we learn more about what's happening. For now, please stay safe and allow the professionals to do their jobs."
Another explosion rocked the area as a police man used himself as a shield to protect a woman and child before rushing them away!
After the initial shockwave subsided, he helped them to their feet, ensuring their safety, and then rushed them away from the immediate danger zone.
"What is happening?" He said to himself.
What was happening? Well the answer was simple yet it confounded everyone so much as to WHY.
It was an attack…by a Supervillain!
"HAHAHAHAHA! Burn baby burn!"
Someone could be seen flying in the air among the chaos, he was 6 feet tall, with a muscular and athletic build. His suit was predominantly fire-red, with flame-like patterns that seem to dance across its surface. The suit's material is heat-resistant and composed of cutting-edge nanofibers, ensuring it remains unscathed by the intense flames he commands.
His helmet features a sleek, visor-like design, resembling a stylized fire mask. The visor conceals his face, which remains hidden in the shadows, adding to the air of mystery. His gloves are equipped with advanced flame projectors, allowing him to control and direct his fiery attacks with precision. The suit is adorned with various canisters and tanks that store compressed gases and accelerants, which he uses to manipulate and intensify his fire-controlling powers.
He blasted a stream of flames at another car, BLOWING it up in a fiery explosion as it flew into the air!
"LOOK OUT!" A policeman shouted as he and another moved away from the flaming car crashing into his cop car. "We need back and heavy artillery!"
"Look at you all squirm, helpless to do anything by yourselves, hahaha so weak and pathetic"
The policemen close enough or that weren't busy helping others get away, began shooting at the burning man!
"You think bullets can hurt the Firefly?! Pathetic!" Firefly shouted, blasting a fire wall in front of him.
It was hot enough to turn the bullets into liquid before they even touched him.
"When are you cops going to learn that you are all useless when not dealing with thugs? Maybe turning you all into a barbecue to teach you that one final lesson!"
PyroFly then charged them with more fire but suddenly, a savior emerged from the midst of the chaos. A figure with a superhuman ability to stretch and contort her body positioned herself in front of the vulnerable police officers, shielding them from the searing heat. As her elastic limbs extended and created a protective barrier that prevented them from harm.
It was none other than Elastigirl from
Elastigirl stood at a graceful and athletic 5'8", with a toned and flexible physique that was a testament to her incredible powers. Her red and black superhero suit clung to her body like a second skin, accentuating her agile and lithe form. Her chest bore the iconic Incredibles logo, a bold "i" in bright yellow, representing her family's dedication to heroism.
With a determined and resolute expression on her face "Looks like this fireproof suit came in handy after all" She said before getting bag back to normal and looking at the enemy.
"Huh?! Well, if it isn't the city's little poster girl?" Pyrofly said with a chuckle.
"Well if it isn't my LEAST favorite Pyromaniac...I heard you were dead" Elastigirl said with an annoyed face.
"My death was overly exageratted"
"I see, but that's not going to change what's going to happen. It always ends the same." Elastigirl said, preparing to fight him.
Pyrofly, grinned at Elastigirl's determined response. The flames danced menacingly around him as he readied himself for the impending battle. Their history was one of intense rivalry, and their encounters had often been fierce clashes of fire and elasticity.
"You always were a stubborn one, Elastigirl," he retorted, flames flickering in his eyes. "But this time, I'm not here to play games. Municiberg will burn, and there's nothing you or anyone else can do to stop it."
With those ominous words, BlazePyro launched a torrent of flames in Elastigirl's direction, creating a wall of fire that surged towards her.
"Ugh!" She grunts, covering her eyes from the heat. "Even if the suit can handle extreme heat, I can't. Gotta find a way to cool him down!"
If only she could find some fire hydrant or any type of water container or box to ensure she could use it later to hit him with it, that would make things easier. But someone had to distract him and protect the civilians.
And lucky for Elastigirl, someone arrived just in the nick of time to help her.
Just as Elastigirl was searching for a way to neutralize the flames, the distinctive sound of web-shooters filled the air, and a red and black-clad figure swung into the scene. It was Spider-Man! He then landed with agility and grace, poised to lend a hand in this epic battle.
"Need a hand, Elastigirl?" Miles called out as he activated his web-shooters.
He began firing them at the flames, and managed to extinguish them with ease!
"Spiderman" Elastigirl nodded with a grateful smile, appreciating the timely arrival of this fellow superhero.
"THE SPIDER!" Pyrofly shouted in anger.
"That's my name, don't wear it out." Spider-Man said with a bow. "And you are the same caveman that loves fire too much, right? I thought you, you know, burned out?"
Pyrofly, now frustrated by the sudden appearance of Spider-Man, shot fiery glares at the wall-crawling hero. "You think your webs can save you, Spider? You're just another annoyance in my path to victory."
Elastigirl took advantage of the distraction and quickly surveyed the area for any water sources. Unfortunately, she couldn't find any fire hydrants or containers. With Spider-Man's assistance, the immediate threat of the wall of fire was quelled, but Pyrofly was still a dangerous adversary.
Elastigirl turned to Spider-Man and said, "We need to work together to take him down. He's too powerful to handle alone."
Spider-Man nodded and replied, "No problem. Teamwork makes the dream work. Let's do this!"
Elastigirl nodded to him as they both got into battle stances, ready for the fight with the pyromanic villain.
"You two think you can beat me!?" Pyrofly shouted, spraying flames to the sides in outrage.
Elastigirl and Spider-Man stood their ground, determined to put an end to Pyrofly's destructive rampage. Elastigirl's body extended, providing a protective shield, while Spider-Man continued to swing and dart around the fiery onslaught with his web-shooters.
"We're certainly going to try," Elastigirl replied with unwavering resolve. "Your flames won't win this time!"

"Gotcha!" Elastigirl shouted, jumping and coiling her legs like a springs!
She jumped to Pyrofly, hitting him before bouncing back, hitting him again and again and again as he bounced around the area!
Elastigirl's rapid and relentless attacks caught Pyrofly off guard. Her incredible elasticity allowed her to strike with incredible speed and force, like a human-sized spring. With each bounce, she delivered powerful blows to the pyromaniac villain, sending him tumbling through the air.
"GAH! You damn bitch!" Pyrofly's flames flickered as he struggled to regain his composure. He attempted to defend himself by shooting flames in all directions
Seeing the flames, Elastigirl rolled herself up into a ball to protect her head and barreled through the flames to continue attacking Pyrofly!
'Spider-Man, please hurry up!' She thought, thinking she would get sick if done too much.
As Elastigirl continued to pummel Pyrofly with her incredible bouncing strikes, Spider-Man managed to reach the fire hydrant. With a quick web-shooter blast, he activated the hydrant, releasing a powerful stream of water that cascaded over Pyrofly. The water quickly doused his flames and left him sizzling and weakened.
"Looks like you needed some cooling off" Spiderman said.
"NO! My flames!" Pyrofly shouted, looking at his fire blasters.
He tried firing again until Elastigirl grabbed him from behind!
"I don't think so!" She said before ripping out what looked like a fuel line.
Pyrofly let out a final cry of defeat as he was captured, his reign of fiery terror coming to an end. With their combined efforts, Elastigirl and Spider-Man had emerged victorious, saving the city once more.
"Would you like to do the honors?" Spider-Man asked.
"No, no. You deserve it, Spidey." Elastigirl said kindly to him. "Deliver the finisher."
Spider-Man nodded with a grateful smile and approached the captured Pyrofly. With a swift and expert movement, he wrapped the struggling villain in a cocoon of webbing, ensuring there would be no escape.
As Pyrofly struggled in vain against his bonds, Spider-Man leaned in close, his voice filled with a mixture of sternness and empathy. "It's time to cool off, Pyrofly. Maybe this will be a chance for you to find a better path."
With that, Spider-Man signaled for the authorities to come and take Pyrofly into custody. The battle was won, and the city was safe once more.
"Thank you, Elastigirl and Spider-Man. We owe you both more than we can repay." The policeman said, shaking hands with them.
"Don't worry, it's our pleasure to help. This is our home of course." Spider-Man said with a smile.
Elastigirl extended her hand to the police officer, shaking it firmly. "We're just doing our duty to protect our city and its people. If you ever need us again, you know where to find us."
Spider-Man added with a friendly grin, "That's right. We're your friendly neighborhood heroes."
The grateful police officer nodded and watched as Elastigirl and Spider-Man swung away, their silhouettes fading into the cityscape.
"I'll get you, both! You hear me?! I will get you both!" Pryofly shouted loud enough for them to hear!
Both heroes chuckled to this as they continued to swing away.
"Man that guy has no chill i am right? What's wrong with villains these days just doing meaningless destruction?" Spiderman said while looking at her teamate of the day.
"Trying to compensate in this dick measuring contest for number one villain I bet" Elastigirl said.
This made Miles laugh loudly, having to land on a roof to keep himself from falling to the ground.
"I like when we team up like this Elastigirl it feels like we are an unbeatable duo" He said, truthfully.
"Yeah, we do." Elastigirl said but felt a little sad. "Just like me and Bob were."
Spiderman looks at her and for a moment tries to talk to her but is not sure he should, with a sigh he says "How long has it been?"
"…Almost two years." Elastigirl said, wiping away a tear.
Elastigirl's husband was called Bob but also known as Mr. Incredible who was a famous hero with a lot of heart and strength, but ended up dying protecting the city and his family against a vengeful villain and it had been two years ever since that happened.
"Does it get any easier?" He asks.
"Honestly? A little, but the kids, they're still grieving a bit." She said, leaning on the railing of the top of the building.
"I still can't believe so many heroes died because of such a petty guy," Spiderman said, angry at the one responsible for that.
"Syndrome let his anger and petty desire for revenge get the best of him. It only takes one day to create a villain but he took his lust for revenge too far and ropes others into it." Elastigirl said, glaring in anger at the memory of that man.
''Not many would agree with this and I don't say it like...ever but" Spiderman sighed before saying "I'm glad he is dead, prison or an Asylum for crazies would do the job"
This actually got a chuckle from Elastigirl, mainly from how Syndrome died and not having done the dead herself.
'Luckily no one in that plane got hurt when he went through that jet turbine' "What about you? How things going on your end?"
"Me? Things are going alright. My college application is almost ready and I should be registered for online classes in a week." Spider-Man said with a grin under his mask.
"Glad to hear but it still amazes me how someone so young can halve this hero's job so well." Elastigirl said to him.
"Trust me it's not easy to make sure I have time for both my lives in and outside being a hero, especially coming up with excuses to have to leave mid class, but you must have it even harder no? Being mom and all"
"Like you wouldn't believe. Even with a benefactor that supports Supers, it's not easy being a widow mother of three." Elastigirl said.
''Yet they still call you ElastiGIRL huh? Hehehe" He teased.
"What's wrong with that? I'm still a young and vibrant woman and not just because of my powers." Elastigirl said, putting her hands on her hips.
"I know but I thought you'd switch to "Elasti Woman" or something new by now. Not that I don't like your name but still." Spider-Man said.
"Says the "Spider-Man" who's just applying for college." Elastigirl said with a smirk.
"Come now, Spider-Boy sounds ridiculous. But serious now Helen. If you need anything just think twice before asking" He said, dropping her real name in a low tone.
Helen smiled at this, reaching out and holding his hand with a nod.
"Thank you, Miles." Helen said to him.
Miles Morales was the name of the hero known as Spiderman and when this beautiful woman touched his hand he started blushing a little bit, as the two were quite close and used each other on a first name basis.
"So, anything else we can do besides patrol?" Miles asked, nervous and blushing under his mask. "Like maybe I could stop by and say hi to Vi, Dash, and Jack Jack."
"Oh the kids are all well, Dash and Violet have after school activities and Jak-Jack is with Edna, she just loves being with him" Helen said with a smile.
"Oh yeah...you told me he had polymorph powers right? Man if he ever learns to control that and decides to be a hero he will be the ultimate one" Miles commented.
"Yeah, he might even develop a name to match his powers. Something like "Invincible."" Helen said with a joking tone.
"Hehehehehe, now that is a cocky name." Miles said with a chuckle.
"You can come sometimes if you want, you know?" Helen mentioned "I miss having your mom there, we always have something to talk about"
"Sure. I'll tell her later and see if she's free." Miles said before getting a call on his phone, pulling it out to check. "Actually, here she is now."
"Oh that's very nice to hear, keep me in contact about whatever she says ok? Would be great to have someone else back home rather than the kids"
"Even me?" Miles asked with a grin.
"Maybe." Helen replied with a grin.
They shared a chuckle before Miles answered his phone.
"Hey, Mom," he greeted.
"Hey, Miles. How's everything going?" his mom's voice came through the phone.
"Pretty good. I'm just patrolling with Elastigirl tonight. She mentioned she misses having you around for the talks," Miles said with a teasing tone.
"Oh, tell her I miss our talks too. And I wouldn't mind joining you guys sometime," she replied.
Miles grinned, "You heard that, huh? I'll let her know. So, anything on your end?"
"Nothing much, just finishing up at the hospital." Rio said over the phone. "I've also heard talk about a trip to deliver medical equipment to a country in need. I might volunteer for the team."
"Again? Mom you're too nice sometimes" Miles said with a grin.
Helen coughed "Says the superhero"
"Is that Helen with you?" Rio asked.
"No no, just a bird." Miles said with a grin.
He says one *I love you* Before hanging off and looking at Helen "Well looks like I got time"
"Great. Then shall we head to my place to relax a bit?" Helen asked with a smile.
"I don't see why not, so sure let's go" He said with a thumbs up.
The two of them then jumped off the roof, swinging from building to building with their webs or stretched limbs. Their destination was out of the city, to a private mansion where Helen lived with her kids.
*The Parr Mansion*
As Miles and Helen swung through the city, making their way towards the Parr Mansion as they gracefully navigated between the towering buildings. After some time doing this the two heroes arrived at the destination, the sprawling estate came into view.
Helen gestured towards the couch. "Make yourself at home. It's been a while since we had a chance to just relax."
"Sure." Miles said, taking off his mask since they were inside.
"Feel free to use the shower, i'm sure both of us need one after firing someone that shoots fire"
"No, I'm fine." Miles said.
Helen stretched her neck over to him and gave a quick whiff.
"I beg to differ." Helen said before stretching her head back.
"Your son must love this motherly side of you" Miles rolled his eyes with a smile before giving up and going to the bathroom.
Helen rolled her eyes at him before she continued to her room, unzipping her supersuit to change.
'Awwn this suit is so tight on my body, it feels good to finally get out of it for the day' She thought, sweat glistening on her body.
It was so bad that Helen was almost tempted to not wear underwear under her suit but that would just cause more problems if her suit ever got ripped while she was saving the day.
'Sure it's a good thing Edna made it so freaking durable but you never know with these villains these days and their weird powers'
Helen moved to put her suit back in its special compartment, hidden from normal people in case of a break in.
"Now time for a nice and relaxing shower, god knows I deserve it"
Helen turned to her private bathroom and turned on the lights, walking towards the shower and turned it on.
The warm water cascaded down Helen's body as she stood under the shower, washing away the grime and tension from a night of patrolling. The sound of the water hitting the tiles echoed in the spacious bathroom of the Parr Mansion. Helen closed her eyes, allowing the soothing sensation to envelop her.
As the water ran down her face and body, Helen couldn't help but reflect on the events of the evening. The banter with Miles, the phone call with Rio, and the familiar swing through the city had been a welcome break from the usual chaos that came with being a superhero.
And the most welcoming part of it was Miles himself.
After a rejuvenating shower, Helen stepped out, wrapping herself in a plush towel. She made her way to the closet, selecting comfortable clothes for the evening.
It had to also be nice looking since she had company over, a young hero.

As Helen walked out of her room, she found Miles already dressed in casual attire, lounging on the couch.
"Feeling better?" Helen asked with a smile as she joined Miles on the couch.
"Much more than I thought I would." Miles said, nodding to her. "You?"
"Just took a shower and felt much better" She said with a thumbs up.
Miles nodded to her as Helen grabbed the tv remote, turning it on to watch the news on them.
As the news program started playing on the TV, Miles and Helen watched the reports about recent superhero activities and city happenings. The news anchor's voice filled the room, detailing various events and incidents.
"And we now go live to the scene where our city's heroes, Spider-Man and Elastigirl, had just defeated the dangerous villain known as Pyrofly."
"Oh my god! Is the strong and beautiful only one Elastigirl!" Miles joked "You think she would give me an autograph?"
"Hehehehe, maybe so. She seems like a very nice woman, a real woman of the people. Anyone wanting an autograph, they can have it as long as they ask." Helen said, going along with the joke.
The news segment continued, showcasing footage of Spider-Man and Elastigirl working in tandem to apprehend the villain Pyrofly. The camera captured their coordinated efforts, highlighting Spider-Man's agility and web-swinging skills complemented by Elastigirl's flexibility and stretching abilities. Then suddenly a fan shows up in front of the camera and declares "Like gosh! They would be such a cute couple too"
This shocked the anchor and the heroes watching as more people like the fan came into view. They all wore shirts that said "Elastic Spider" with a heart around it as well as signs to show support of the apparent ship.
'A couple? Me and Miles/Helen?' Miles and Helen thought in surprise.
Miles scratched his head, glancing at Helen with wide eyes. "Did we miss a memo or something? When did we become a 'thing'?"
Helen chuckled, equally perplexed. "I didn't know superhero team-ups came with fan clubs and ship names. 'Elastic Spider,' huh? Catchy, I guess."
The TV screen showed interviews with some of the fans in the crowd, holding signs that read, "Elastic Spider Forever" and "We Ship It!" One enthusiastic supporter shouted, "Move over, power couples! Elastic Spider is in town!"
The news anchor, recovering from the initial shock, tried to regain composure. "It seems the citizens of our fair city have taken quite a liking to this unexpected alliance. Elastic Spider is capturing not only villains but also the hearts of the people."
Miles raised an eyebrow, glancing at Helen with a smirk. "Well, Elasti, looks like we've got ourselves a fan club. Who knew superheroing came with groupies?"
"Hehehehe, even after all this time, I'm not used to having fan clubs. Especially not one like this." Helen said, very surprised by the notion that her and Miles would be a superhero couple.
Yet, she didn't seem to be against the idea.
"Speaking of which have you been seeing anyone lately? If you don't mind me asking" He decided to ask.
"Seeing anyone?" Miles repeated, thinking about it and becoming a little sad. "Well, there was this one girl but…we just decided it was better to just be friends."
"Not wanting to sound rude, but nobody wants to hear that. When you're interested in someone and that someone friend zones you? It sucks! Was she cute?" Helen decided to ask.
"Cute? Hehehehe, yeah. She was cute." Miles said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out his phone. "I have an old picture of us together, here."
He showed a picture of a blonde haired girl with casual wear, she seemed to have a rebellious feel to her overall appearance.
"She seems nice"
"Yeah, she is but like I said, it didn't work out." Miles said sadly, putting his phone away. "After that, I haven't exactly gotten back on the dating scene since."
Helen nodded understandingly, "Well, relationships can be tricky. But hey, you never know what the future holds. Maybe someone unexpected will swing into your life."
Miles chuckled, appreciating the pun, "Yeah, maybe. For now, I'm just focused on being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and teaming up with incredible heroes like you."
Helen smiled, "Well, Elastic Spider does have a nice ring to it, doesn't it?"
"That or it sounds like an undiscovered spider species." Miles joked but nodded in agreement.
This made Helen feel warm inside as she slowly moved closer to Miles while they continued to watch the news.
Helen's proximity didn't go unnoticed by Miles. He turned to her with a soft smile, appreciating the unspoken connection between them. The glow of the TV screen cast a warm ambiance in the room, creating a comfortable and intimate setting.
'He's letting me get close. Yes!' Helen thought, now about half of a foot from Miles before she moved her hand next to his.
"Say Helen, do you think our relationship would be seen as weird?" He decided to ask.
"Weird? How do you do?" Helen asked, playing dumb.
"I mean, it's just…I know we're both superheroes but what about our ages? I'm 18 and you're 38." Miles said, trying to explain it gently.
"And? As most people would say, age is just a number." Helen said with a shrug.
'Plus with my powers, my body stays youthful much longer than most. Physically, I'm a good 23-24.' Have thought about her youthful body.
"I know that but we hang out a lot don't we? When we are not in our other suits, doesn't it bother you how people look at us? As if they are judging you for hanging out with someone much older or younger and rumour start to spread"
"Miles, I don't care what people think about me hanging out with you and you shouldn't either." Helen said, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I like spending time with you, inside and outside of the costume."
"Gee thanks Elastigirl, how can your adorable number one fan ever repay you?" He jokes.
"Hehehehe, I can think of a few ideas. IF you're interested." Helen said.
"Is that a fact now? Well i'm interested, tell me what you have in mind" Miles gave her a wide grin.
Helen smiled wider at this as she grabbed the tv remote and muted the tv.
"Thought you never asked..."
Suddenly, Helen moved closer and straddled Miles' lap!
"WHOA!" Miles let out in surprise as Helen wrapped her arms around his neck.
"If you let me, I can show you what mature women have that those young girls dont have" She said, with a flirtatious tone.
Though nervous, Miles was also excited as he slowly moved his hands onto her legs.
