Ms. Ulmer: Erin, your friend is here!

Erin's mom shouted. Erin walked down the stairs and when she walked to the living room, she saw Wendy sitting on the couch.

Wendy: Do you mind if I crash here for a while?

Erin: Sure, but what happened to your house?

Wendy tells Erin that her house has a lot of rats and bugs, Julie chose to stay at her friend's house and Wendy chose to stay at Erin's house.

Erin: You can sleep with me in my room. *in thought* I can't believe it! Wendy is staying at my house! But does she know that I have a crush on her? I'm scared to tell her that.

*Flashback*

Since 10th grade, Erin was walking in the hallway until some group of girls pushed her, making her fall. The leader of the group is named Ava.

Ava: Oops, my bad Erin. Didn't mean to. I'm so sorry.

Erin know that she's faking and really meant to do that on purpose.

Ava: Let me help you.

She lied. She poured a cup of water on Erin, at front of few kids. Erin's hair, hoodie, and jeans is soaking wet and it's making Erin cry.

Ava: Oh, are you crying? I'm super sorry Erin. NOT!

Wendy: Ava, leave her alone now!

Ava and her friends turn around and saw Wendy standing behind them with an anger extension on her face. Ava walked up to her, raise her hand, and was about to slap her across the face, but she stopped herself.

Ava: Whatever.

After she said that, she and her friends walked pass Wendy and walking away. Erin looked up and saw Wendy offered her a hand.

Wendy: Are you okay?

Erin: *crying* I- I guess so. I hate her so much, why does she always picked on me and bullying me?

Wendy: I don't know why. But just ignore her. I'm Wendy Christensen.

Erin: Erin Ulmer.

Wendy: Nice to meet you, Erin.

Erin blushes and smiles. She could feel butterflies in her stomach. She don't know why.

Wendy: Well, see you later Erin.

Wendy turned around and walked away. With couple more minutes left before her next class, Algebra, starts, Erin run to the ladies bathroom and look herself at the mirror.

Erin: *in thought* Why am I blushing? Am I gay or what? Do I have a crush on her?

Erin redone her makeup and go to her Algebra class. After Algebra is over, Erin go to her History class, when she walked in the room, she was shocked that Wendy have the same History class as Erin. Quickly, Erin blushes and started to shake. Erin's body is out of control and her palms is start to sweat.

Wendy: Are you okay Erin?

Erin: Oh, um, yeah, I'm o- okay.

Erin felt guilty for lying to Wendy like that. Taking a deep breath, Erin calmed down and go to her seat. Their History teacher, Mr. Robinson, walked in the room and teach the students stuff. After he's done teaching, Mr. Robinson assigned a partner assignment.

Mr. Robinson: You will be a group of two. You two will work together over the weekend about the history about The Civil War. If I called your name, please come up here. Ms. Ulmer and Ms. Christensen.

Erin's heart stopped after Mr. Robinson called her and Wendy's name. She started to sweat again and breathe heavily. Wendy and her walked up to Mr. Robinson and got a stapled paperwork about The Civil War.

Wendy: Do you want to go to my house or do you want me to go to your house?

Erin: *nervous* Um, we-- we can go to-- to my house.

Wendy: Erin, are you sure you are okay?

Erin: *nervous* I'm positive Wendy.

*End of flashback*

Erin is in the bathroom, removing her clothes, after she's fully undressed, Erin look at the mirror in the bathroom, looking at her naked body. Suddenly, Erin started to blush again, she have been thinking about Wendy after they first meet.

Erin: *in thought* Maybe I do have a crush on her.

Erin touched the shower water if it's warm, after she checked it, Erin walked in the shower and started to wash her body. After she got out of the shower, Erin wrapped herself up with a towel and walked to her room.

Erin: Can you look away for a minute?

Wendy: Sure.

After Wendy looked away, Erin unwrapped the towel around her, look for her bra, panties, and pajamas. After she finds her clothes, Erin started to dressed herself, before she put her black tanktop on, Erin look at the red make on her right arm. It was from her stepdad, her real dad dead when she was 14, her mom remarried another man, but after a few weeks, her stepdad start to abuse Erin and try to rape her. Her mom wants to help Erin, but if she call the police, her new husband will kill her.

After she put her tanktop on, Erin sit on her bed, next by Wendy.

Erin: I have something to tell you.

Wendy: What is it?

Erin: *in thought* What are you doing Erin? Don't tell her that you have a crush on her! Then she won't talk to you no more! Tell her a lie!

Erin: My stepdad abused me.

Wendy: What?

Erin show Wendy a red mark on her right arm.

Wendy: Oh my God! What happened?

Erin told Wendy everything. Her real ded passing, her mom remarried, he stepdad started to abuse her, and he try to rape her, her mom wants to help but she can't.

Wendy: I'm so sorry for your dad Erin. I know your mom try to help and I also feel sorry for her.

Erin: Thanks Wendy.

The girls stared at each other, until Erin looked at her clock and it's 9:35 PM. It's getting late.

Erin: We should go to sleep. It's getting late.

Wendy: Yeah, you're right. Want me to locked your door just in case your stepdad comes home?

Erin: No, he is at his buddies house for, I don't know, in a few weeks, maybe. But thanks for asking that.

Wendy: You're welcome Erin and thanks for letting me to stayed at your house.

Erin: Anything for a friend.

Erin and Wendy laid down on Erin's bed, covered themselves up with a blanket. Erin wrapped her arms around Wendy, Wendy was about to ask Erin why she wrapped her arms around her body, but she didn't bothered to ask. Wendy wrapped her arms around Erin's body, making Erin smile. The girls closed their eyes and fall asleep.
