Yubel578: Your ideas have merit. The only one I'm not sure of is having Jason be with all four raptors rather than just Blue. I'm not sure it works like that in Raptor hierarchy, just because there's one male among a pack of females. The most that would happen is the females fighting for the right to be with the male.

Victor "Vic" Hoskins had many goals in life, most of which he achieved. And when he joined InGen's Security Division, he found he could put his skills to good use for them, especially with the theme park known as Jurassic World. While kids see living, breathing creatures from 65 million years ago... Hoskins saw weapons that could be useful to the military, like the T-Rex. The same, original T-Rex from the 1993 Jurassic Park incident. It was actually thanks to Hoskins and his team that they sedated and captured the 'Queen of Isla Nublar'.
But what he had become most interested in was the Velociraptors.
he had read notes on Dr. Alan Grant's opinion of them following the 1993 Jurassic Park incident, as well as the 2001 Isla Sorna incident. That Velociraptors were smarter than whales, smarter than dolphins, even smarter than primates. Which meant, to Hoskins, that they were smart enough to be used as weapons of war.
And it was because of this that led to the creation of InGen's I.B.R.I.S. project, short for Integrated Behavioral Raptor Intelligence Study. A project that has been in development since 2012, it's purpose to study the intelligence of Velociraptors such as the four currently on Isla Nublar.
One of the apparent aims of the project was for an attraction for Jurassic World when there was a set of raptors that were fully trained, but Hoskins wanted to control the Velociraptors in training so that they can be used in military operations, which not everyone was in agreement with such as the trainer of the Raptors, Owen Grady.
But Hoskins wasn't the type to give up so easily. He would get what he wanted by any means neccesary. Even if he had to go to illegal means, but it was all for the greater good. After all, the good outweighs the bad.
Which is why Hoskins was making his way through the lab, passing a tour guide showing her first group of tourtists the lab where the embryos are created and the eggs contained. Hoskins ignored everything, as his eyes were set on one person sitting at his desk.
Dr. Henry Wu looked up from his paperwork at the sound of footsteps and withheld the urge to sigh as soon as he saw Hoskins. Wordlessly, he looked back down at his paper as the head of security came to a stop at his desk. Before Hoskins could say anything, Wu beat him to it. "What do you want, Victor?"
"Good to see you too." Hoskins retorted.
Wu gave him a look. "I'm busy. And you don't come here unless you want something, and you better not be here to speak about..." Wu looked around, and once he saw nobody close to hear, continued. "The Indominus."
"Oh don't worry, doc, I'm not here because of that." Hoskins grinned and closed Wu's glass door. "But I am here to talk about something new and exciting, something that I think would make millions of money."
"And that is?" Wu raised an eyebrow.
"The Raptors." Hoskins said.
Wu sighed. Why was he not surprised? "The Raptors are Owen Grady's responsibility, and we cannot weaponize them without his approval as he is the Alpha of the pack."
"Who said it would have to be Owen's Raptors?" Hoskins smirked, getting the doctor's attention. "Now, I'm not saying create a new one, because it might just be the same thing over. Now I've seen what those four Raptors we currently have can do, sometimes they lsiten to Grady, which means they can respond to commands. However, as they are animals, they aren't easily controlled. But what if... there was some human DNA in one to make it as reasonable and intelligent as a human?"
Wu's eyes widened. "You're asking me to put human DNA into one of the Raptors?!" He hissed in disbelief.
"No... I'm telling you to transform a human into a Raptor." Hoskins smirked, even as Wu stared at him in horror.
"Are you crazy?!" Wu shouted before lowering his voice to not attract attention. He glared at Hoskins. "Do you have any idea how illegal human experimentation is?! Even if we did that, we'd be committing a war crime!"
"Nobody will find out." Hoskins assured. "And I promise, the pros to this will be worth it. A human-turned-Raptor, with the body of one, but still maintaining the intelligence of a human. All that would need to be done is train he or she into listening to us and doing what is needed. I promise you, there will be lots of money made from this, Henry. Plus, think of the scientific breakthroughs you can achieve by merging human DNA structure with that of a dinosaur.
Wu stared at him, wondering if the man has finally lost his mind. However, even as part of him said this was a bad idea... the scientist within couldn't help but wonder the limits of turning a human into a dinosaur, what could become of it and the breakthroughs. Reluctantly, he sighed and nodded to show he was in agreement with Hoskins.
"Alright, we'll do it." He said before pointing at the man. "But if we're discovered, this was all your idea. You're taking the fall."
"No one's going to find out." Hoskins rolled his eyes before turning to leave. "Now, to find a test subject suitable for this little project."
Once Hoskins left, Wu sighed and sat down, wondering what has he just agreed to...
"So you train four female Velociraptors?" Jason asked as Owen pulled his motorcycle to a stop before a circular paddock with a large forest area. They had already stopped by Owen's cabin and camper van, where they placed Jason's suitcase, and then made their way here so Owen can introduce the Raptors to Jason. "That must be be entertaining."
"Oh, quite the opposite." Owen chuckled fondly and shook his head. "But, things have been going. They do listen... sometimes. What's worse is when their heat season comes, because they have no males to... well, you know. And they are very tempatoral during that time of the year."
"Okay, TMI, I get the idea." Jason grimaced.
Owen chuckled. They got off the motorcycle and made their way towards the paddock, Jason following Owen up some steps that led to the catwalk. "Barry!" Owen called to an African-American man who looked up at the sound of his name being called.
"Owen!" Barry greeted back as he walked over to meet them, shaking Owen's hand then he noticed Jason. "Who is this?"
"Thus us my nephew, Jason, the one I said would be staying for the summer." Owen explained then looked at Jason. "Jason, this is my friend, Barry. He helps with taking care of the Raptors when they aren't in a training session."
"Nice to meet you." Jason said, shaking the man's hand.
"You too." Barry smiled, before he looked at Owen. "The girls are out on a hunt, they should be back around-" He stopped as four barks were heard from the forest. "-now."
They, plus Jason, turned their attention to the inside of the paddock below them as four creatures burst out of the jungle. Jason's eyes widened as he beheld the Velociraptors for the first time ever, noticing that one with a brownish colour had a pig in it's jaws and was taking joy in chewing it slowly while the others glared resentfully at her.
Owen nudged Jason with a grin. "Well, there they are. Say hello." He said. The Raptors soon looked up at them, but Jason soon noticed their attention shift firmly to him and one of them, with a beautiful blue stripe, cocked her head and chirped almost curiously at him
"What are their names?" Jason asked as he broke his stare with the Raptor.
Owen pointed to the brown Raptor with dark blue striping as well as having dark blue around her eyes. The most noticeable trait is the scar on the left side of her muzzle. "Well, you got Echo. She's a bit cheeky, and likes to jump up and try to reach whoever is walking on the catwalk, so watch yourself when she does that."
Echo merely huffed and looked off.
Owen pointed to the next Raptor, who was forest green with dark green vertical stripes running down her back. "There's Charlie, the most playful and youngest of the four. She can be as energetic as a chipmunk on coffee."
Charlie purred up at Jason.
The next Raptor Owen pointed at was a teal color, with no stripes on her back or tail. Charlie looked similar to her, except Charlie was a darker green with black stripes. "That's Delta, basically the Beta's second-in-command when I'm not here. She's a very clever girl."
Delta barked at the compliment.
Finally, Owen pointed to the Raptor with the beautiful blue stripe. "And this one... that's my girl, Blue. She's the Beta." Blue chirped, her eyes firmly on Jason and her head cocking curiously to the left and Jason found himself copying the action. Owen chuckled as he noticed. "She likes you. You're lucky, none of them have looked at you like you're food... yet. Girls! This is my nephew, Jason! He is pack and not to be harmed or looked at like he's a meal, understood?"
The Raptors barked in response, seemingly understanding and agreeing.
Jason blinked. "Wait, if Blue's the Beta... who's the Alpha?"
Owen smirked. "You're looking at him, kid. So what do you think?"
"They're beautiful." Jason smiled, and the Raptors seemed to puff up in pride at the compliment.
"Wanna feed them?" Owen asked with a grin as Jason's eyes widened.
"Seriously?!" He asked as Barry grabbed a bucket containing several dead rats and handed it to Owen.
"if you're going to get to know them, might as well start with this." Owen explained. "But be sure to call the name of whoever you're tossing the rat to, they'll be confused if you don't and will fight over it."
Taking the bucket, Jason took a dead rat out, and the Raptos lifted their heads like dogs on attention. Rearing back, Jason threw the rat while calling. "Echo, here you go, girl!" Echo jumped and caught the rat in her mouth, chewing it. Jason took the next rat out and tossed it. "Good girl. Charlie, heads up!" he tossed the rat and Charlie quickly caught it in one, swallowing. "Damn, did you even savour the taste?"
Charlie merely purred at him.
Taking the next rat, Jason tossed it. "Delta, your turn!" The rat landed perfectly in Delta's mouth. Jason took the final rat and turned his eyes onto the Raptor that held his attention. He knew that Betas needed to be respected the most next to the Alpha. "Blue? This one's for you."
He tossed it, and Blue didn't need to jump as she opened her mouth and caught the rat by the tail, soon chewing on it and then swallowing. She looked up at Jason, looked at him with her, admittedly gorgeous, amber eyes and chirped, apparently thanking him for the snack.
Owen clapped his nephew's shoulder. "Well done. Like I said, they like you."
Jason snorted. "Most likely just hungry. Only one of them got the pig."
Owen smirked. "Well, your time here will help in improving your standing with them. Just... don't go into the cage and try to cuddle them or something."
Jason gave him a look. "What do you take me for, an idiot?"
Owen merely laughed along with Barry.
And I'll end it there. this introduced Jason to the Raptors, and the next couple of chapters will help in having them bond... and most likely help in them easily identifying Jason when he's changed.
