Chapter 1...
Back on earth, Pariah was once a square-headed short-statured light-beige dog with black floppy ears, eyes with brown irises and a dark brown nose, he wore his signature orange knit cap that has a familiar frog symbol along with dark blue baggy jeans, a powder blue tank top and red sneakers with a white, wavy stripe on each side. He begins telling his story while we are treated to flashbacks of his childhood, the anime and events from all three games...
"My real name is Parappa Rappa, i was a young dog boy with big dreams, born and raised in Parappa Town. I had a good childhood, a nice house with loving parents, a baby sister, wonderful friends and a crush on the most beautiful girl in the world, seems like a dream, right? (scoffs) Not with my family's financial state. My mom had to pitch in by working as a firefighter because dad is always blowing through all the money on his inventions, how we manage to get by is a surprise for me. Anyway, despite all that, there are times i dream about something or get into trouble, but once i found a way, i said "Yeah, i know! I gotta believe!" and that's how my life soon turned into a adventure, i trained in martial arts under Chop Chop Master Onion, took a drivers test and got my license, helped Prince Fleaswallow sell some stuff at the flea market, and baked a cake, hell, i even had to rap against my mentors to use the bathroom.
And then came the whole "Noodlization" incident, to make a long story short, turns out Beard Burger's son was behind the whole plot to turn all food into noodles, but after a rap battle against him, i convinced him that there were other types of food out in the world. (sighs) I thought for sure everything will be fine from now on... but i was wrong. A year after saving Parappa Town, i been having this terrible dream i keep getting every night..."
Parappa is having a picnic on a wonderful day with the sunflower girl of his dreams, Sunny Funny, on a field full of flowers next to a tree that rests on top of a hill that has a view of the city. Parappa gazes at Sunny as she looks at the view, then she turns her attention towards Parappa. The two love birds smiled as their eyes made contact, but without warning the skies begin to slowly turn dark, Sunny notices it and she and Parappa looks up in the sky. Parappa couldn't help but feel something ominous in the air, his worst fears soon came to life as the sky rips open revealing a black hole, and that is when it begins sucking in everything surrounding him and Sunny, the dog grabbed his girlfriend's hand and the two tries to escape but they were being pulled up into the sky by the vortex, Parappa grabs a branch from the tree closeby with his free hand and hangs on for dear life, his other hand still holding Sunny's hand, the girl called out...
"Parappa!"
"Sunny!" Parappa shouted.
"Don't let go!" Sunny pleaded.
"I won't!" Parappa promised. but his grip was getting loose, he couldn't hold on any longer, soon enough, Sunny slips from his hand and ascends toward the black hole. "Sunny, NO!"
Parappa lets go of the branch and gets sucked in, once inside the black hole, Parappa reaches his arms toward Sunny as she calls him...
"Parappa!"
As Parappa moves closer, Sunny's body began to stretch and her flesh was dissolving until she became a skeleton in which she cried out for the last time as her bones dissolved into nothingness...
"PARAPPA!"
Her voice shot Parappa out of his nightmare with a loud gasp, he was breathing panickedly as he looked around his bedroom, his breathing slowed down as he realizes it was the same nightmare he had as he muttered...
"Not again."
"I had no idea what that dream was all about, but it was getting worse every night, and i had to do something, i went to Tamanegi Sensei for advice..."
"Tama who now?" Gawk asked having never heard of the name.
"Tamanegi Sensei, he's known as Chop Chop Master Onion." Parappa corrected his hellhound friend. "He was my mentor before Nin'niku Sensei, that's Master Garlic by the way, took me in and trained me."
Parappa was meditating with Chop Chop Master Onion at his home, but the thoughts of his nightmare made it hard to focus. After a moment of silence, Chop Chop Master Onion said as he continues his meditation...
"Hmm, this is a grim sign, indeed."
"A sign?" Parappa asked as soon as he stopped meditating.
"Yes, i sensed an ancient evil that dwells within the darkness that you have seen, a foul beast that feeds on the souls of the slain in the afterlife."
"My god..." Parappa mumbled to himself before he asked... "What could it mean?"
"The end." Chop Chop Master Onion answered as his eyes opened. "The answer to your vision lies guarded by the demon inside you."
"I couldn't stop thinking about his words after that." Parappa continued on. "I was definitively in a rut, i didn't know what to do. I couldn't even sleep without going through that nightmare again."
"Your dad took you to a doctor, did he?" asked Matt Major.
"Yeah, they put me on sleeping meds for awhile, mom had to ask my sister to bunk with me until i feel better." said Parappa.
"You have a sister? What's her name?" Gawk asked.
"Pinto." Parappa replied. "She was worried about me as much as anyone, honestly, i didn't mean to worry everyone, there were times i wished i can find the answer to all this... But one day, the answer was delivered to our mailbox. i received an invite to some kind of contest, i wasn't sure if i should go there or not, but after seeing you guys reading the latest Joe Chin comic book, i had to go there."
"Wait, that's where you ran off to?" asked Katy.
"What kind of contest was it?" PJ Berri asked his best friend.
"A fighting tournament." was Parappa's answered. "No one knows who set it up, but i knew the source of my problems was there."
"Must have been dangerous." said Paula.
We are treated to scenes of Parappa battling with many famous fighters, such as Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, and Spike as he continued his story...
"That's what i thought, but thank god i didn't ran into any of those psychopaths i heard about, they got taken down by some kind of badass, the people i fought in that contest was pretty decent though." said Parappa. "I got really far thanks to my skills, either that or i was lucky, but when i saw my real opponent, i was shocked."
"Who was it?" Lammy asked.
"Myself." Parappa answered.
"What?" Katy said confounded.
In the rival arena, Parappa was riding his skateboard slowly as he looked around the battlefield, but unbeknownst to him a portal opens up from the side, and something quickly raced past him causing the dog to fall off of his skateboard, the skateboard rolled freely across the place until it was stopped by a foot. Parappa got up and said...
"What the..." He looked around and eventually saw a hellhound who looked exactly like him, but has beige hair and wore black sunglasses, blue jeans, black tanktop and black sneakers, but no hat. Parappa ran toward the demon and then then said to him... "Wait, is that... me?"
"That's right, good me." said the hellhound known as Pariah as he takes off his sunglasses, revealing his eyes. "I am your future, forged from the flames of hell."
"Hell?!" Parappa said in shock. "No! I would never do anything bad!"
"Oh, but you did." Pariah told his past self. "Helping criminals like Prince Fleaswallow's relatives was just the start of your downward spiral toward the fiery pits."
"Fleaswallow's got a family?" Parappa asked. Pariah chuckles and said...
"Too bad you won't ask him where you're going. But i'll say there's blood on your hands... OUR hands." The hellhound readies his claws and charges at Parappa.
Parappa dodges his evil self's oncoming attacks and eventually rolls past him and said...
"C'mon, you don't have to do this. There's must be another way."
"There is no other way." said Pariah. "Nothing can save us now."
"No, there is, i know it!" Parappa assured. "There's always a way, we just gotta..."
Pariah grabs Parappa by the neck and lifted him into the air before saying to him...
"If you say that line, i'm gonna feed your severed head to the cannibals!"
Pariah throws Parappa across the arena as he lands into the ground. Parappa gets back up and growls. Knowing his evil self won't listen to reason, he said...
"Well, i guess if you want folks to listen, you gotta beat 'em into submission."
Both Parappa and Pariah charges toward each other and engages in combat, deflecting blows, Parappa dodges the hellhound's claw and does a foot sweep, but the demon jumps to avoid it, and does a roundhouse kick, but Parappa ducked out of the way in time. Parappa kicked the demon in the shins and punched his face, Pariah countered with headbutt and a kick in the chest. The battle continued on, but neither of them has gained an edge, they stopped for a moment and glared at each other, they were about to fight again when a dead body drops in front of them.
"What the hell?!" said Parappa as both dogs examined the corpse, it was Kain, the vampire ruler of Nosgoth. They looked up at the sky and see a one-armed white skinned female angel with white hair, black lips yellow eyes with gray eyeshadow.
"You damn angels shouldn't stick your nose where it doesn't belong!" Pariah shouted at the lady exorcist.
"Never will i allow a demon worse than Lucifer to destroy the entire afterlife." said the angel woman.
"Okay, what the hell is going on here?!" Parappa demanded.
"You are a danger to all that exists, dog!" Lute responded agressively. "For the protection of all heaven, both of you must die!"
Lute conjures up a spear and hurls it at Pariah and Parappa, both dogs dodge it, and Pariah takes out a desert eagle and fires at the angel in which she flies around dodging the bullets until he runs out of ammo. The angel dives toward the hellhound as he tries to reload his pistol, the demon, however seeing her coming, drops his gun and jumps at her and the two starts duking it out, slashing and jabbing. Parappa decided to take the opportunity to escape, but Lute land in front of him, sword in hand, she raised her blade about to strike when Pariah scratches the angel's face with his claws, Lute retaliates by thrusting her sword in the hellhound's stomach, and conjuring a dirk and stabbing him in the arm, Pariah's claw pierces through Lute's leg while the demon bites down hard on her shoulder, just before the fight becomes intense, all three combatants can hear a voice, the language was mysterious, they look up and see a humanoid shadow figure floating in the sky. the shadow entity stretches its arm and began chanting some kind of spell until a few big black holes emerged on the ground and green mist began seeping out, soon hands poked out of the holes and numerous demons and a couple of angels crawled out of them. These dead members of the afterlife had their bodies restored, but has no jaws and they have white glowing eyes, Lute gasps at the sight and said...
"The Undeath! But they're extinct!"
"Undeath?" Parappa asked.
"Immortal undead beings that exists solely to hunt the souls of the living." Lute answered.
"You mean like zombies?" it was Pariah's turn to ask the angel.
"They're much worse than that!" Lute replied.
More of the now unidentified Undeath creatures begin exiting from the holes that spawned them. Lute looked up in the sky again to see the living shadow flying away and decided to give chase. Parappa and Pariah was about to back away when the Undeath turned their gaze towards them, both of them soon feel their bodies freeze up, they were paralyzed.
"I can't move!" Parappa shouted.
"Shit!" Pariah cursed trying to move but to no avail.
The immortal undead beings advanced toward both canines, surrounding them and were getting closer, just when the situation was hopeless, a portal opens up and two huge demonic hands grabs the rapping dog and his hellhound counterpart into the gateway just in time for the arena to be consumed by holy light powerful enough to disintegrate the Undeath.
(Parappa's POV)
After Parappa was pulled into the portal, he was lying on the stone floor in what appears to be a tower, he sat up and turned to see Pariah sitting next to him, wreathing in pain, bleeding from his wounds, then turned his gaze to the front to see a mysterious robed figure talking to a 6 foot tall, slim-built demon woman with white skin, and wearing a red tuxedo-jacket with darker red lapels and a small white tag located on the left side. After they finished their conversation, both figures turned around in time for Pariah to say...
"Charlie, what are you doing here? What the fuck is going on here?!"
"What i'm doing is for the good of all that exists." said the demon woman as she took a step forward and continued... "You turned your back on the prophecy you were supposed to fulfill! You killed my friends and try to kill my father and take over hell! I will NOT allow you to doom us all and let the Dark Devourer plunge the universe into eternal timeless darkness!"
Charlotte Morningstar raises both her arms in the air, Parappa can feel being lifted in the air along with his future self as she recites an incantation, a moment later, the hip hop hero can begin to feel pain and it was becoming increasingly agonizing to the point he mercifully passed out, the last thing he heard before doing so was the voice of the princess of hell...
"You have one chance to make things right, don't squander it."
Parappa was unconscious for hours, but eventually his eyes open and he saw a blue sky with a cloud or two and he can hear birds chirping, he sat up and looked around and notices he was home, by spotting the "Welcome to Parappa Town" sign. He got up and rode his skateboard back home. Back at the resort, Parappa said...
"So many questions were swimming in my brain that day, i had no idea if it was real or it was another day, but i didn't care anymore, as soon as i got back, i went to Club Fun with you guys to forget about all of it, but no matter how hard i tried, it always came back."
It was nighttime at the Rappa residence, Parappa was entered his bedroom after a shower and after changing into his pajamas, he looked into the mirror and notices something different about him, the irises in his eyes have changed color, it was once brown, now it was orange. It was just then he heard a familiar voice...
"NO! DAMN IT!"
Parappa turned around and saw the room empty, he moved to the center and then he heard it again...
"Fucking Morningstar! Fucking Timekeeper! When i get my hands on 'em, i'll tear their limbs out!"
Parappa looked around the room before saying to himself...
"What the...? Am i hearing things now?
Surprisingly, the voice answered...
"No, you're not."
Parappa looked back at the mirror, and gasped when he saw his future hellhound self behind him, in which he muttered in shock.
"Oh... my god..."

Author's note: Sorry for the wait, folks. Anyway, in the first chapter. Parappa faces his evil self after fighting his way through the tournament, then Lute from Hazbin Hotel made an unexpected entrance after killing her rival, the vampire Kain from The Legacy of Kain series, and my creations for this story, the immortal undeath popped out of nowhere, they have a paralyzing gaze similar to the Redead from the Legend of Zelda series, the cherry on top is the first glance of Charlie Morningstar and the nameless Timekeeper, that's the robed figure, and as for what happened to Pariah... Well, i will say he's part of Parappa now.
One more thing, if you have any ideas for songs or OC, let me know, 'cause i'm no songwriter.
