When Jason woke up, still in his cell, his head was hurting like hell. As bad as a headache, he'd say. But then again, he had been slamming himself into a unbreakable glass window fifty times in half an hour so... he only had himself to blame for that. As he looked around, he let out a soft growl in place for a sigh upon seeing that he was still in this cell and was still a... Indoraptor.

'For a moment, I had hoped it was just a dream.' Jason thought with a downhearted hiss. It was then that he registered the feeling of his right leg stinging, bringing his attention to it. He tilted his head as he saw an angry red line mark going down his leg at the ankle. It wasn't a big one, but it was still noticeable if one looked at his leg. Leaning his head in, Jason sniffed the leg before giving it a few gentle licks.

At first he was going to grimace, but the feeling wasn't that bad. Animals lick their wounds, right? So he had better get used to doing the same until he can have this transformation reversed.

'What did they do to me while I was sleeping?' Jason thought, looking his leg over after giving it a couple more licks. The stinging sensation was fading away, but was still there as a little reminder. Shaking his head, he laid it down on the floor with a huff.

How could this happen to him? He couldn't get over the fact that he had been forcefully changed into a dinosaur. Into some type of Raptor that he had never heard of before. Velociraptors were his favourite dinosaurs next to the T-Rex, sure, but that didn't mean he wanted to actually be similar to one. It was just a coold dream to have as a kid, one that he grew out of as he matured into a young adult.

And his human life... his mom will be frantic with worry if he doesn't return home. What would Owen tell her?

'I need to get out of here.' Jason determined as he got to his feet, albeit shakily as he was still getting used to this new body and the brief flare of pain in his right leg didn't help matters. Shaking it off, he narrowed his eyes at the wall. 'Round two, wall. And this time I'm going to win.'

With a roar, he charged at the wall, hoping to at least make a dent.

Wu was sitting in the security room, on the phone with Hoskins while watching Jason slam into the wall repeatedly, letting out angry roars and snarls as he did, even going so far as to scratch and bite the walls.

"I'm on my way to the control room." Hoskins said, drawing Wu's attention back to their conversation. "You just concentrate on your part."

Wu sighed, as this was the tenth time Hoskins saw fit to remind him of his part in their crazy little 'plan' to integrate Jason with Owen's raptors as well as get their project started in seeing how Jason goes in his new body. "Yes, I know what to do, Hoskins. once Jason is far from the lab, the tracker in his leg will activate and the control room will pick it up."

"Good." Hoskins said, pleased. "I'll handle things from there."

With that, he hung up on the scientist who sighed while closing his eyes, his heart heavy with guilt for what he's done to an innocent boy that didn't ask for this. The selfishness of human beings. The desire to play God. It's that kind of thinking and desire that brought Jurassic Park to fruition before it fell in the 1993 incident, and it's brought Jurassic World to greater heights than it's predecessor.

"God forgive me." Wu muttered to himself, glancing at the red button that will unlock the exit to Jason's cell. "Here we go."

He pressed the button.

Hitting the wall for the twentieth time, Jason shook off any aches that this was bringing to his skull, intending to be free by any means neccesary. He was about to charge and hit the wall again when he heard something opening, causing him to stop. He looked around, and soon spotted the wall on his right sliding down like a door, and he squinted his eyes when he was hit with daylight.

"Ah... what the?" Jason shook his head, giving his eyes a couple of blinks until they adjusted, and he saw a jungle outside. His nose flared with the smells of nature, trees, leaves, the ground, everything.

Without another second, he bolted out into the jungle.

Never had he run so fast. He ran faster than he would as a human. At first he ran on his legs like a raptor, but then crouched to running on all fours since his arms were too long and allowed it. Trees whipped past him, as did the wind, and he leaped over logs that were on the ground. It was almost like a blur as he got faster.

He was aware that Velociraptors could run 40-50 mph, though he had read that the raptors of Jurassic Park could go 50-60 miles if they ever got out in the open. From the way he was running, how fast, he'd guess he was going 60 at least.

He soon slowed to a halt as he came to a small stream deep in the jungle. The trees were dense, with thick leaves that almost blocked out the daylight but they looked perfect for shelter, and the shadows they cast brought a sense of camouflage if he was to hide deep into the bushes.

The sound of his stomach rumbling shattered the calm, serene feeling he had been experiencing while taking in the view of the small stream. He grumbled at his needs before looking around and sighed.

"I can't exactly go visit a cafe now, can I?" He grumbled, before walking around to look for something edible.

His head snapped to the left upon hearing a twig snap, and his eyes zeroed in on a squirrel that was nearby. It was unaware of his presence, busy with a nut. Jason's eyes darkened as his hunger took over, and he crouched low, his claws and sickle-claws digging into the ground beneath him. He waited and waited...

Five seconds...

Ten seconds...

And pounced!

The squirrel couldn't get away in time as it was snatched up by the tail in one second. Jason shook the squirrel around before pinning it to the ground with his muzzle and got to work on ripping it apart while taking bits of it to eat.

Jason blinked, his senses coming back to him, his mind his own again. He looked at the remains of the squirrel, at the blood on his claws, his muzzle stained with it, and stumbled in in shock and horror.

"What... what did I... No..." He shook his head, horrified at what he had done to the squirrel and he didn't even resist the urge to eat. It was like something else took control for a moment. He forced his eyes away from the dead squirrel, well aware that it had not satisfied his hunger but he was not taking anymore pieces out of it.

If he had to it... it would need to be something bigger.

'I need to eat. I can't fight against this. I'm a carnivore-type dinosaur, not a herbivore. God, I wish I was.' Jason thought, trudging off to find another source of food but stopped to wash his muzzle off in the stream while also taking a couple of healthy gulps of water which freshened him up from being dehydrated.

After a walk of five-minutes, he came across the edge of the jungle which leads to a large, vast valley.

"Wait a minute... this is Gallimimus Valley." He realized, recalling the sight of it from when he took the tour around Jurassic World. The valley was big, which was perfect for the herbivores that it belonged to. It was a beautiful sight to behold.

But, while he was looking he heard the sounds of feet running across the ground, getting louder and louder the more he listened to it. In the distances of the valley, he saw a herd of Gallimimus, running across the grass and seemed to be heading somewhere.

Jason grimaced as his stomach growled again, reminding him of his hunger that needed satisfied. He looked at the herd, which made a U turn and were now coming in his direction.

"Now or never." He sighed, lying down behind a hill so they won't see him when they run past.

He quietly waited in patience, listening to the footsteps getting closer and closer, until suddenly they came sprinting past his hill. Unfortunately, one of the Gallimimus saw the predator that was hunting them and signalled the others of his presence.

''Shit!'' He yelled, before standing up and chasing the herd.

Being as fast as he was, it only took him thirty seconds to catch up to the herd. Gallimimus could run 29–34 mph, and since raptors can run faster than that, especially when hungry, combined with whatever had been injected into Jason's blood that made him into this... Indoraptor, he caught up with the herd pretty quickly and zeroed in on the one closest to him.

Seeing his chance, Jason roared while leaping through the air and colliding with a Gallimimus, clamping his jaws around it's neck, sinking his teeth into it's flesh while wrestling it to the ground. The human side had been removed, the instincts of a predator in full control as Jason ripped the herbivore's throat out and began eagerly geasting on his kill, ripping chunks and chunks of flesh out after swallowing the one before it.

It was so delicious.

Tasted like chicken, really.

Now that his hunger was satisfied, Jason licked his muzzle to be rid of the blood before deciding to head back to the stream he found earlier so he could properly wash the blood off, get some sleep, and decide what to do next after he has a decent sleep.

"That's thirt minutes now." Wu muttered to himself as he had timed how long it's been since Jason bolted through the exit of his cage, wanting to make sure there was enough time for him to get away before the next phase of the plan would be commenced.

Now that it was time, he reached over to the console and flicked a switch which activated the tracker implanted into Jason's right leg during his nap. As Wu had the human-turned-dinosaur put under anaesthesia to ensure he wouldn't be awake for the procedure.

"And here we go." Wu muttered as he watched the red dot blink while located in Gallimimus Valley.

And that's it for this chapter. I apologize if things aren't getting underway too quickly and there's not much, but what can you do when making a story of a human-turned-dinosaur in Jurassic World? There's not exactly many of these types of stories on the Jurassic Park/World category.
