Amy happily came back to Surge's and Kit's place to go more in depth in her plans the next day. Going back to the cave which the two reside in. Surge is seemingly waiting for her, outside of the cave. Maybe keeping an eye out but Amy is glad she sees her first not Kit. Amy approaches her and makes sure Surge hears her so as to not get shocked by the other girl due to surprising her too much.
"Hey Surge!"
"Oh, hey!" Surge says and smiles at the hedgehog who runs towards her, with a bag on her back.
"Whatcha got there?" Surge asks
"The first part of the plan" Amy says with a wide smile that gets Surge excited
"What's in it? What's in it?" Surge shakes her hands up and down in excitement
"This" Amy pulls out a hammer, not her hammer. It's black and not decorated at all, Surge stares at it in awe.
"That looks so cool!" Surge says
"What's so cool-" Kit says before he sees the hammer, jumps in front of Surge to presumably save her life, he falls onto the ground, flying past the other two. Surge laughs at him while Amy gives a blank look. Kit then proceeds to get up and blocks Surge from Amy.
"I'm not going to hurt her, little guy" Amy says, crouching down to Kit's level, he drops his arms and sits down on the sand near the two, keeping a keen eye on Amy, however.
Amy doesn't seem to notice or at least no care because she and Surge talk about their plan and ideas that they bounce off each other. Surge seems to like how Amy goes for the more destructive ideas, even if she doesn't go for the more risky ones. All while Kit tries to say how most if not all of this is a bad idea but is drowned out by Surge and Amy's discussion. The two can't stop talking about this.
Soon enough they're ready and raring to go. Amy takes a costume she made to disguise herself and her new hammer. Surge steadies her powers and Kit goes to the lake that's connected into the beach to get water. Kit, surprisingly enough, doesn't know how to swim. So he stays in the shallow end for a bit until his reserves are full of water and he can wreak havoc like Amy and Surge can against wherever the two go. They choose a nearby city as their first place of attack against anyone. Surge and Amy continue to be excited while Kit remains in the background, an assistant and extra person to the team.
The three finish gearing up and go center stage to the nearby city. Scouting out the perfect location for the destruction. Amy finds a perfect place to where they can start the mayhem. A perfect place to tip the first domino. Amy hits down a water tower. Perfect for not only Kit to refill but for Surge to shock. Amy knocks it over and immediately Surge goes on the water and shocks it, causing an immediate outage to the center of the city due to knocking out some power lines. After that, Surge busts her way into a building. Bounces around in it until the structure crumbles and the building collapses. Onto one part of the wall, then to the next part. Going between the two wall to create a masterpiece of destruction and displacement.
Kit, watching all this happen, decides to flood a few rooms in another tower. All while Amy knocks down more power lines and more structures. People start to panic now, Kit washes the all the way out of the city, Amy hits some of them and piledrives them out. Surge goes for another, then another, then another big building. She doesn't know why she and Kit didn't think of this before. But she keeps on wrecking years of construction all in the name of creating chaos. Crushing down the walls. The pillars and any other structures of the building don't stand a chance against their tirade.
Amy launches herself up by breaking into a road and using the momentum to go up and break some satellites on some buildings and any other probably necessary things for these buildings to be inhabitable by others. She doesn't care, she wrecks the place, catching up with Surge, they break buildings together. All while Kit watches and sadly floods buildings by himself. The two keep on going and demolishing infrastructure all around. The two keep on going until there is nothing left. The city crumbles against the three. Amy smiles under her mask the entire time. The only one who doesn't smile is Kit but Amy puts that up with his generally depressing nature.
The city is destroyed and in ruin. Amy smiles under her mask, Surge has an even bigger smile on her face. The two retreat after admiring their handiwork with Kit. Retiring to base, if you can call it that. Immediately Surge and Amy begin planning out their next attack. Before Amy leaves to 'assist' in the crisis. Surge is happy, while Kit is sad and suspicious. But he doesn't vocalize his complaints. Surge would probably hate it if he did that. She's having too much fun, Kit should let her have that, at least for a little bit. Surge deserves it, after all she's been through. Kit knows to put her first after all.
Kit again stays awake that night. Listening to Surge sleep. He thinks about the day. The destruction and Amy. What's the end goal? Even if he could trust her, which he is still very apprehensive about. What is all of this for. What does she mean about breaking a cycle? Surge seems to agree with her. Can he trust her? Maybe. But maybe not. He didn't get much sleep that night. Staying awake and thinking to himself, with thoughts in his head. He stays awake. While again Surge and Amy sleep fine, not even realizing the other is not sleeping or not even being close enough to ever have the idea. Kit wishes he could go to sleep. Think about all of this later but his mind forces him to stay up.
